He was hatched with deformed hands, closer to two-clawed mitts. And when others tried to tease him, he put his deformed hands across their muzzles with bone-breaking force. He was the local bully, taking his time to hammer away on anyone who crossed his path. Eventually, he beat up the wrong kid whose dad had enough pull to kick him to the patrols to let him either burn off steam or get eaten by something nastier than him.

He ended up being nastier than the things in the tunnels, for a long time he let his anger and frustrations control him. Sullen and withdrawn from the clan, his life was ground down to the simplicities of eating, sleeping and fighting. Until one day he mistook friend for foe and laid out the leader of a tunneling operation. He was tied up with ropes while asleep and taken to the shaman who found something more than mere anger, but a primal spirit of the dire weasel trapped within him. It took many days but the spirit was brought to the surface and bound in a glyph on his chest. He was no lycanthrope, but surely someone in his family was. Now he had a way to channel his rage, now he was a barbarian.

Equipment
Gauntlets: originally loot from a dead dwarf, his misshapen hands fit well into the thumb and first two fingers after removing the extras with help from a smith. They let him hit much harder than his own fists would.
Goggles: they do nothing.
Coat: function more than form,it lets him keep things in easy reach with many pockets and ease to take off if needed.
