Cimbrian Orthodoxy is a local denomination of Ilinucism that adheres closely to the religion’s original beliefs, with some key differences. Cimbria has no Arch Matriarch or Patriarch; the Valarn is the de facto religious leader in the state. In religious matters, however, the Valarn functions exactly as they do in other Ilinucist nations. With the apparent fall of Ethea, Cimbrian Orthodoxy promotes Eln as Ilinucism’s new religious capital.

The tenets of Cimbrian Orthodoxy are a close match to original Ilinucism. What distinguishes it is its desire to maintain balance in the natural world. With the unpredictable nature of Magalis as evidence, one wrong deed, one misstep could spell disaster.

It is believed that Aketa’s consorts, Fengri and Kafto, are locked in eternal struggle for supremacy over the sky. Aketa watches her lovers do battle in the cycle of the day and night, unable to stop their warring. Their powers wax and wane, manifest in the seasons. Winter is when Fengri is strongest, for the days are shorter. Summer comes when Kafto has the advantage, as the days are longer. If either god should defeat the other, then Illyrica would be locked in total day, or total night. This upset in balance and the loss of a lover would break Aketa’s heart, and Magalis would engulf everything in a storm of raw emotion.

To prevent this disaster, Cimbrian Orthodoxy promotes ritual sacrifice and bloodletting. The souls of the sacrificed ascend to the heavens, where they fight for either Fengri or Kafta, depending on the season and the time of day. Thus, their contribution helps to maintain cosmic balance and keeps Magalis from destroying Illyrica. These souls do not fight for eternity; eventually, even the sacrificed must return to Aketa’s embrace. Therefore, sacrifices must be made for all of time, on designated calendrical days.

I really liked it! And only had one concern:

" She was quick to flee, jumping over obstacles and sprinting as often as her body would allow but it wasn't enough. Everywhere she turned, Crusaders approached and this time, she knew her life would end. "Aketa please grant me the strength." Avery said before reaching high into the air. The ground began to rumble, catching the crusaders off guard. Avery closed her eyes hard as she kept her hands in the air. All around, swirling winds picked up speed, pushing the crusaders back.

"A petty wind trick! do not let this 'magic' stop you. You have gods divine blessing!" the Inquisitor said, who was now walking towards her.

The Crusaders began to form up and by twos, used their shields to deflect as much wind as possible. But they didn't know this wasn't a 'wind trick' by any means and when the first Crusader screamed in pain and then the second, it became clear that she was no simple Ilinucist believer.

"Defend yourselves!" the Inquisitor shouted as he saw the lumbering creatures approaching from all directions. Beings made of bone with faint glowing joints. Their bones draped with blackened, rotting skin and eyes burning as the sun. They rushed the Crusaders into close combat. The clang of metal against bone was in favor of the Crusaders at first but the undead were persistent and vicious. They felt no pain and sadly, had no master. Avery found that out the hard way when she shouted to two of the undead to attack the inquisitor. Instead, she yelped as they rushed her instead.

So we just need one post from @Drunken Conquistador and @GreivousKhan before the first event roll. Hopefully @Sigma and @PyroDash888 can get their things up soon, but honestly guys, no real rush. When you guys get in I'll do a separate event roll for you two. How is everything going?

Re reading the religion stuff, I suppose It was a little quick. There was a short ritual where she was gathering power for the spell. And by rushing her spell, she paid the price by not having control of her spawn.

But overall ill make sure it takes longer next time, done with more detail.

@Goldeagle1221 After thinking for a bit, I sadly have come to the decision to drop out of the rp. I'm so sorry everyone :( I thought I could handle two RPs at once, but I have shown myself that I'm not capable of this, Unfortunately .

Monkeypants: In the nation of Antioch, all illnesses were suddenly cured, and disease retreated to the borders. All is well, all is healthy.

Aristo: Culren suddenly find himself with this aura gifted from the Volcano: The Gift (endowed with the ability to enchant and perform ritual magic)

Drunken Conquistador: Inanna suddenly finds herself with a gift from the Volcano, an aura! Charisma (suddenly intensely liked and easily agreed to)

Hey, are you still taking nations on? Just checking because I don't want to waste my time making a nation sheet that will be discarded XD. I understand the volcano game-play. I'm not sure how I would be integrated into the game, maybe as outcasts from another country or just as nomadic wanderers, but I don't mind. Thanks in advance!
