Btw, Since this is my first time playing, What do i do when I want to interact with somebody?
Like, my character said, "Hey [insert character name from a player] can you give me some water?"
So, I'll do what I want to do or?
When an action is brought up, you usually don't go any further than performing more than one active action (ie. asking for things, one set of dialogue) unless they are small actions mixed up together (ie. picking something up and moving over to something, hearing someone telling you to do something over the phone and preparing to do as they asked). Roleplay posts are very turn-based, but once you understand the gist of it, you can make your characters start to feel more natural.
Reading through some of the ICs of existing roleplays around the Casual Roleplay sections can help, even if you're not exactly joining them. Turn-based interactions can be both flexible and restrictive. The most important thing to keep in mind is to remember that other people's characters will have their own set of actions prepared before and after they interact with your character, so giving them room to do just that while fulfilling your character's responses or actions can take a bit of practice.
Looking at the examples of others and trying it out yourself can take some time, but it certainly is easy to improve upon if you keep trying! I believe you can learn it quickly, though even if you learn it slowly, there's no pressure in a roleplay like this. xD We can always give feedback accordingly.
Well like @NarayanK just explained, it's a very turn based thing. When I'm interacting with someone else I typically try to write what my character is thinking and observing and then perform some sort of action like responding to a question, asking a question, or whatever. At that point I'm probably done with my post and I just wait for whoever I'm interacting with to post.
Once you get used to it and better at it, it's actually pretty simple.
"I honestly don't know why I'm still here. This is obviously just a stepping stone."
Name: Ayano Yukimura
Age: 34
Gender: Female
Occupation: Ayano is a journalist and television anchor for the local news/weather station. It's not national news by any means, but it is a coveted position in her field with good pay and good hours, that she also loves doing.
Personality: When not in professional mode for her job, Ayano's primary mode of communication is sass. It's both her way of letting loose and her natural state. She enjoys socializing, if only to a) network and b) be sassy. She can also be manipulative, and very effective at it too. If she wants something done, more often than not she can manipulate someone into doing it for her. Her favorite hobby when off work is dancing, mostly in urban styles but even in things like DDR. She always has her apartment well stocked with wine to drink when she gets home from work, she always wears chic apparel, and she enjoys gossip to the point where she reads "People" magazine legitimately. She is simultaneously the gossip girl and the elder, and she revels in it. She likes being important, but she also likes being left alone once in a while.
Background: Ayano grew up to an average middle class family with no outstanding traits except the ability to produce attractive offspring. She holds degrees in both journalism and advertising, so she knows to sell herself well to say the least. Single and really not interested in mingling, she is much more focused on further developing her already career and reminding people that she could leave any day now for a bigger and better job somewhere far away.

Remember everyone, you may take your time as you post! There's no real rush in posting unless you really, REALLY want to go nuts with having your character interact with another character! ^^
Oh gosh I'll get a post up in a moment. Glad to see this up and rolling so quickly!
EDIT:
Oops, i didn't mean to post when you did @Abillioncats we can say mine happened afterward ^^;
Eh don't worry about it, I edited slightly so that Abigail half noticed the loud music, she's far too distracted with what she believes are real aliens to notice Rebel right now anyway XD
I should probably just say this in case it might become a problem later down the road.
I won't necessarily have internet access every single day. It's why I picked this RP in the first place since the pacing seemed to be a fair bit more relaxing, but it's probably good etiquette to mention that regardless. I'm (not very) busy with university, that much I can take responsibility for, but my main source of internet outside of university isn't really mine and I don't have reliable access to it. Hopefully it won't lead to any problems but yeah, hope to have a pleasant RP experience in spite of that.

That's okay! We won't go hyper fast compared to most RPs anyway xD
I'm here. I'm reading the stories and I'm so enjoying it. <3 :D
That's great to hear! If you join in, it'll be more enjoyable! o-o
