Kind of depressing story here. Read at your discretion [+]

The other two litters of puppies were born recently. So there was 8 little puppies in the first litter, the second litter had 14 puppies and the 3rd had 4. For reasons that have yet to be determined, 11 of the puppies in the second litter didn't make it and 2 of the puppies in the 3rd didn't make it.

The original 8 from the first litter are all doing okay, and there are still 5 puppies left in the new litters that are fine and healthy. So thank goodness for that.

I have to think about what I'm gonna do if I can't get one though. I can wait a year for the next litter or I can look for another breed.

@hatakekuro Adoption is a great alternative. We've had all our dogs through adopting them from shelters.

But that's why I was so dead set on a breeder this time. I've never raised a dog from a puppy before and I was looking forward to the experience.

But with that being said, @Lmpkio I am also very interested in adopting a Greyhound.

Yeah adoption is cool, but why not raise the pup from a proper home? I got mine on a farm near Fresno 4 hours away from where I live, but was damnly worth it to get my Australlian Shepherd pup. So damn adorable and so damn smart. Love him to death!

Greyhounds are cool yeah. Though my next dog I would get is probably a Husky, probably because how they look so wolf-like and because they are also hilarrious too
