@tripington oh um I'm pretty sure its gotta be something along the lines of pg-13 'cuz thats how the anime is and, well, this isn't exactly some terrible sad setting or plot haha

Just use your common sense and keep it all below an "R" rating and I'm sure you'll be fine :)

Tora Azure

"If you need some healing, leave it to me!"

Name
Tora Azure

Age
22

Starting Location
Central City

Rank
Beginner

Organization
(Leave blank for now)

Occupation
Pokemon Breeder, she is knowledgable in taking care of Pokemon, how to properly treat, take care or handle them. She offers Pokemon Massages to rejuvenate them, as well as massages for humans to help care for their body. Also spends time painting art of Pokemon and Pokemon trainers, and general nature in her travels.

Appearance
A tall woman standing at 6'0, with a lanky, slim, slender and skinny fragile body. Her skin is ghostly pale, complimenting her ocean blue colored eyes. Long black hair usually allowing to flow behind her. Overall, her looks seem pretty mature, though since running off she's been wearing less classy clothes. Sticking with a black tank top, a hoodie and blue jeans with black boots. Also wears black fingerless gloves and a blue backpack.

Biography
Tora grew up in a high class wealthy family. Her father and mother running a business of selling jewelry farmed in mines owned by the family as well as a few other side business making venues. Usually famously known as Azure Corp. Ever since she was born however, she was always a sickly individual and had a hard time breathing or walking around. Her parents denied her going on a Pokemon Journey when she turned ten, saying that a high society girl didn't need to go traveling and it was no place for her. They wished her destiny was to stay safe at home until she could arranged a marriage of a suitor they found suitable in taking over the business.

Tora however always dreamed on going on her own Pokemon Journey, and didn't give up on it. Always studying books in ways she could help both Pokemon and Pokemon trainers and take care of them whenever they needed, especially when they weren't close to a Pokemon Center. She was more interested in lending a helping hand rather than doing any real battling like most trainers. Every summer, she'd go out on a little farm outside of Central City where her grandparents worked in caring for Pokemon. It was to help both give her fresh air, and give her parents less to worry about.

Her grandfather taught her how to take care of Pokemon, what they liked to eat and how to treat them, while her grandmother taught her massages and how to make food and herbal medicines. Most of all, her favorite part was the Pokemon. There were both family owned ones, and wild ones that came to play. Her best friend was a wild Growlithe she named Archie. Forming a bond after she found the small fire Pokemon injured on one of her nature walks and nursed it back to health.

Turning twenty-two, she visited her grandparents and they had a surprise for her. Giving her own pokedex and pokeball to start out on a journey she always dreamed of. So of course she took it and left, of course, without notifying her parents who would never allow it. But, she didn't mind being a run away as long as she could pursue her dream.

Personality
Generally, Tora is a kind individual with a calm demeanor, a bit motherly to others. She'll scold someone for doing something dangerous to others or themself but will comfort them as well. She's very stubborn and spirited, unwilling to back down in what she believes in and refuses to allow her fragile body stop her from pursuing her dream. Which of course, she will do everything in her power to lend a hand, even if it means endangering herself. Tora doesn't particularly enjoy Pokemon battles and tries to not participate unless her Pokemon wish to, but knows enough that in order to help, she and her Pokemon has be strong too.

Extra info

  • Tora is quite sick, she often tires out easily and will often have to take breaks while traveling. She has more trouble breathing when in heavy city areas of where there is dirty air. She hopes to get a Pokemon big enough to ride so she can travel a bit easier.
  • She loves the taste of Oran Berries.
  • Loves painting.
  • Dislikes Spicy Food
  • Living a wealthy lifestyle and not really encouraged to do anything but look pretty, she doesn't really know exactly how to fit in with everyday people and socialize. Not taking care of herself. Being a bit naive.
  • She can cook. Though that's mostly just with berries. But she can make some good soup.
  • She tries not to disclose her last name in order to avoid people recognizing her and possibly notifying her parents of her location.
  • Due to her high class lifestyle, she often speaks elegantly, prim and proper. Though has been trying to blend in by toning down her classy speech.
  • Technically she's engaged, but it's to someone she's never met before due to her parents arranging the marriage. Another reason she wanted to leave.

Alright, good to know.

I guess one more thing, what's the "rating" on this? Like I'm not gonna be trying to sneak in graphic fiddly diddly scenes, that's just scummy, but I wanna make sure I don't wind up writing "PIKACHU'S INNARDS WERE SLOWLY DEVOURED BY RABID WEEDLE" and break any established tone.

To give you an idea, I got away with this without any kind of rebuke:

From behind the Crustle, another form rose up, and from its upheld arm protruded a brilliantly shining blade. Olivie watched, stunned, as the gleaming razor sliced through the Stone Home Pokemon's shell vertically. Like butter the solid rock parted, and the guillotine did not pause when it reached the Crustle's body. Yellow goo splattered the shocked girl as the blade bit into the bug, instantly killing it. Its boulder fell apart into harmless chunks. Olivie's eyes lay fixed on the being that launched the one-hit death blow: a tall, dark warrior, black and red with curved metal edges all over. As she looked on, it delivered a stiff bow to her and stepped back, allowing its trainer to approach.

@silver fox just another reminder that characters aren't starting with any pokemon; just a Pokeball. Feel free to have her catch the Growlithe asap but she'll only have one pokeball, growlithe or not.

But overall awesome character :)

But if she doesn't start with a Pokemon, she'd use that 1 pokeball she has on basically her first. So then she would have none(that are free). Right? Or does she somehow get another pokeball? Pretty sure it's the first but your words threw my mind off xD

[@silver wolf] eep I'm supposed to be explaining, not confusing xD

Yeah, the first one. Every trainer starts with one Pokeball. No starter. I meant that if you wanted the Growlithe, I'm sure you could stick it into your CS; your character just has to have caught it either a little before or sometime in or after your first post. Because adding an eligible Pokemon into the post has kinda-sorta been done with @luckyblackcat's character, Ella.

Name: Gertrude Blackbourne (Although she goes by Trudy more often)

Age: 16

Starting Location: Central City

Rank: Beginner

Organization: None

Occupation: (As of now) Freelancing Scientific Aide, usually doing rudimentary field work

Appearance: Bright red hair, adorned with small ribbons to make two pigtails. Thick black glasses over her green eyes, and while her teeth shine rather brightly, they're also adorned by some rather gaudy braces. Her shoes don't really matter much, she mostly just wears slippers, maybe boots if she wants to look experienced or "ready". She's also usually wearing some sort of vest, and a white shirt under it, although the colors tend to vary, of course. As for bottoms, she tends to default to either a short skirt, or a slightly-longer skirt. She's not a very varied girl. Just a very tad bit pudgy. Just a bit. Super self conscious about this though.

Biography: A young, gifted girl, Gertrude was raised under a rather well-off family, with a loving mother and father, and a younger sister who, while had a few irritating traits, was far from the worst possible child. Although, there might've been just a small bit of favoritism to Trudy, but it wasn't anything, right?

Trudy's lifestyle was... dubiously healthy, however. She didn't have too many friends, and instead chose to isolate herself, to enamor herself in whatever subject she was interested in; usually either math or science. It sort of led to her becoming a bit socially stunted, but more on that later. Eventually, one of her longtime friends tried to convince her to come out for once, enjoy the outdoors, a good camping trip will do her good.

The trip, for all intent purposes, went poorly. After an incident with a number of contradicting claims from those around her, Gertrude was left paralyzed from the waist down for the rest of her life. For a few months, this devastated the young girl, leaving her in a state of despair and shock. However, eventually, she came to realize: this wasn't even remotely close to a setback, more like a minor annoyance to her. She wouldn't let this get her down, not for an instant! With a new vigor, and a new spirit, Trudy knew what she had to do: Set out across the world, explore every inch of it, make notes that'll blow every scientist's mind, become this generation's Einstein! With a heartfelt farewell to her parents, and a... rather awkward one with her sister, Gertrude set out on her new quest, her self-dubbed "Scientific Journey".

Personality: A vibrant, upbeat, and headstrong girl, almost to a fault. No, really, she's honestly sort of annoying about it. Thankfully, she's friendly enough, she just finds making friends difficult, tends to hog the conversation if she can, talks in long rambles, with a rather hefty vocabulary. She tries to be fearless, the best she can, but once her actual life's threatened, she starts to sweat JUST a bit. It oftentimes seems impossible to sour her mood, although it's very possible. Trudy also fashions herself as a genius, and indeed, there's a rather strong argument for this; her grades are excellent, and she has a keen intuitive. If there's one thing that might define her, it's her near-obsessive love for science, chemistry in particular, although she's rather keen on biology, as well. Although, those aren't her only interests. She's got a strong fondness for ANIME and MANGA, as well as various stage-plays, almost always of the typical feelgood, almost diabetes-inflicting style, stuff like Mary Poppins and such. Lastly, she's also rather interested in tabletop RPG's, DnD and Pathfinder and such. Overall, Trudy is a jolly, intelligent, and friendly girl, eager to further her career.

... of course, the apple ain't so shiny on the other side. Behind all of this, even if it's just a small bit, is doubt. Doubt, loathing, hate. She knows her injury is going to limit her for the rest of her life. She knows she's almost friendless. Her sister hates her, she knows this. Trudy's the perfect daughter, the genius, the one to change the future, not her! She knows she can't fix this, and perhaps this is why she left, ultimately, even if she doesn't know it, to get away from her failure as a sister. Even with her feelings towards herself, she knows she can't stand others. People who have no patience for her endeavors, her breakthroughs! Mindless idiots, all of them! She knows what they think, she's crazy, she probably has a torture chamber for her experiments, even though all she's doing is, at worst, watching something happen! She could never hurt a living thing, she's a pacifist! By God, she could never DREAM of such a thing! But no, they hate her. Hate her motor mouth, hate her looks, hate her for her fake vigor, hate her for her weakness.

But she won't let that stop her. Losing her legs hardly did, after all.

EXTRA INFO
-Bisexual. Not sure if that'll ever turn up, but there you go.
-Is a total goldarn nerd, if you couldn't tell
-Talks rapidly, to the point she sometimes has to spend a minute to catch her breath
-Is rather pacifistic, although she's not averse to a battle, though she prefers that someone forfeit before a Pokemon's made to faint.
-Isn't actually too torn up about her injury, able to talk about it, it's a part of her life after all, why get upset about it?
-Horrible horrible chef. Doesn't realize how cooking is different from chemistry. (Hint, one of them has to taste good.)

@ToadRopes Your character has been approved.

@Silver Fox Your character is almost ready for approval. One, you have the same image twice in your character sheet. I would delete the hider and leave the picture at the top; you can delete whichever. Also, your pokedex doesn't count against your inventory. With these two minor fixes, you may go ahead and post your character to the 'Characters' tab whenever you like. I'll approve of it as soon as I see it, as long as nothing else changes.

@Tripington Your character is also nearly perfect. Again, your pokedex does not count against your inventory. And you have a small typo in your biography that creates a tiny bit of confusion. You say that she became paralyzed from the waist UP. After reading further it is apparent that you meant 'from the waist DOWN'. With these small fixes, you can feel free to post your character into the 'characters' tab. I'll approve of it ASAP as well.

@Dark Light I will expand more on the concept of Missions later. Simply put though, missions are created by offering up your choice of Creation Points. The amount of quest rewards upon completion depends on how many creation points you spend. Every character within the quest will receive the same rewards upon completion. Basically, for every Creation Point, one trainer point will be awarded at the end. For every 5 creation points, you may also add an item to the rewards. The only requirement that is set in stone will be choosing what rank people need to be at in order to participate in the quest; the rank requirement will also relate to the items awarded. Other than that, you can set any other requirements for joining the quest and completing the quest. PM me with your ideas for approval.

Question, when joining a organization, do you have to rp into them joining or can they just start off as a member?

@silver fox well, logically, I'd doubt that they joined a trainer organization before they even caught their first Pokemon. Plus, why not just RP them joining? Its a fast process that tou can finish either in the entirety of a post or just a single sentence or two depending on how you do it.

Mostly just state that the character is joining an organization in-character and tag the person who owns the organization.

Did that make sense?
