Kaito

Kaito quickly introduced himself to both Garin and the girl who waved back at him. "Of course I'm excited! Who wouldn't be?! Nice to meet you both! The name is Kaito!" He smiled back, managing to at least get their introductions out of the way before The Professor began the lecture. As it turned out, he was only half correct about the activity being a physical one, but he never would have expected them to use their quirks early on in the semester. It was just the kind of lesson he was looking forward to, improving his quirk is the reason why he enrolled into this academy after all.

After witnessing Tori and Lazarus, he whistled a note like if he was impressed by how Lazarus utilized his quirk. "A bird and a rock man eh? There's a joke somewhere in there! But, still those are some pretty awesome quirks! You should watch me now!" He commented just as he walked by Lazarus with a smile on his face.

"Alright! I'm up next! Let's do this!"

Kaito felt pretty pumped up at the moment as he quickly went over to his spot and got into running position. His own personal record is 4.9 meters, without including his quirk of course. He had set his eyes to focus on one particular spot near the end of the track, it was time for his quirk to shine! After he ran and took the leap of faith, he instantly teleported at the last second while he was sailing through the air and landed roughly 28.7 meters away from the starting point. Some of the distance got shaved off, but that didn't matter to Kaito, he was extremely satisfied with his new score.

"Yes! I beat both of your scores! Let's see the rest of you top that!" He shouted excitedly to his classmates from the opposite end of the track, wishing to spark some competition by raising the bar a little. After he went off to the side, he made his back to the group with his hands folded behind his head and had a cheeky grin on his face. He stood next to Lazarus on his left side, wanting to observe the others as well. "My quirk is called Point to Point! I can teleport anywhere and anything I want, like so!" He stated and appeared on Lazarus' right side now in a blink of an eye, just messing with him in a playful fashion. He purposely provided little information of his quirk not wishing to expose his weaknesses right off the bat, although he was already starting to show it off more than necessary.

Meg nodded her head to Kaito. "Kaito? Call me Meg," she said with a smirk. Man, how excited could he get? Very, apparently. Especially about these physical tests. She shrunk a little as she listened to the professor. Jumping? Oh, God knows she wasn't good at this. She wasn't good at physical things, but she sure could try her best. Would she be the best? Definitely not.

She stared in awe at the first girls jump. She had wings? Great, this was going to be harder than she thought; she couldn't top wings. She quickly looked over to Lazarus as he used an earth pillar to help him jump. And then she watched Kaito teleport away form the starting point. Her smirk still stood on her face, but she trembled. Good thing she hadn't unpacked yet.

"M-My turn? I-I guess." Meg sighed as she stepped up a few feet from the starting point, her fussy clenched and her eyes determined. She knew she would fail this, but everyone had to fail sometimes, right? That's what she thought. She closed her eyes, then took a breath as she began to run. She hoisted herself into the air with her right foot, feeling the wind rush past her face. She landed with a stomp that shook her all over, but she luckily didn't fall.

"Hey! I did it!" She raised her fists into the air in celebration, panting for breath. "I-" She turned around to realize... She was about 1 meter away form the point. She slumped over slightly, sighing to herself. "Great... Screwed that up..." She trudged over to where Kaito and Lazarus were standing, ignoring their excited looks. "...This isn't my forte, as you can see..."

★Gahana Shoujyo★

Thanks to Mine and her scolding abilities, everyone finally moved to the plot Jump Activity site.

It was about what you could expect. A strip designed for long jump, pretty reminiscent of an athletics day. It was assumed that just about everyone would attempt long jump now, using their quirks... Gahana's heart sunk. She'd have to reveal her perk to everyone... The point of this and more upcoming exercises was to reveal to themselves their own weaknesses so they could hopefully build on their weaknesses adding to their own strengths. There was no penalty to how poor you do and no reward to how well you do.

The choice was hers. Should could use her quirk to clear this test easily and swiftly or fake it and go on seeming to be a cute innocent girl... Closing her eyes she quickly imagined the scene playing out.
★Me Me Me! Hana will go first!★ Hana put her hand above her eyes to see how far the jump stretched. She couldn't judge the distance. Here I go!★ taking a few steps back, Gahana began to emit a magenta aura. Her hair grew twice it's initial length, she blinked her eye colour to a golden shade. Darting off in the blink of an eye she left cracks in the ground where she dug her wedge heels into. Leaping into the air, the power of her Overdrive quirk allowed her to soar high in the sky, she was now flying through the sky at an alarming speed. So fast. Really fast. Too fast. Gahana couldn't control where she was going to land. Suddenly out of nowhere a stray bird smashed into her face, forcing Gahana to spiral out of control as she descended down to the earth.

Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! *thud*
Face down, like a spear thrown from heaven by the god of lightning Zeus, Gahana became the new Sword In The Stone - more like The Girl In The Sand. To make matters worse, the impact totally broke a nail for sure!

Waking back up to reality, she stood behind Meg shyly as she talked with a blonde boy who introduced himself as Kaito. He was... Pretty much the basics of cute. In kind of a, first-never-gunna-happen-crush kind of way. He was at least energetic and excited to do the activity, seeing his happiness relieved Gahana's spirits.
MMM! (If that's how things are gunna play out, there's no way in hell i'm using my quirk, I'll just fake it.) Meg volunteered to go next. She seemed mildly confident and she gave it her best but she just barely made it about 1m. She looked so confident and happy until she saw how far she got.

*clap clap* Nice try Meg!★ You gave it your best shot! Nodding to herself, she decided to get this over with. Here I come Meg! Giving herself a small run up, Gahana came up to the start daintily and made a small leap, her height gave her a small advantage and she landed further than her friend. Ending at about... A little more 3m.
Yaay! I actually got pretty far huh?!★ It must have been some intense luck!★ Striking a post she lifted a peace signs to her remaining classmates.

Long Day

Zip Zap

Garin decided to move up and take the next spot. He turned to face everyone with his now signature lazy-eyed look and smirked before bowing. "Heya. To everyone I haven't introduced myself to, my name is Garin von Sturm and my quirk is named Blitzkreig. It is a mutant class quirk and is currently very volatile so may everyone please step back. Professor, since I do not know what your capable of I request you step back as well, please?" This for him became more of a formality than a request but it is what it is.

He turned to face the jump and rolled his shoulders, preparing for his jump. While he had waited, he thought about the ideas his quirk could be used for. Charging phones would be cool, sure, plus he could charge people for using him as a charging station but other applications for his quirk were near endless. SO he thought what about travel or floatation. There were electric fields all around him and the earth had its own he could use and that was what he decided.

He clapped his hands together and rubbed them furiously, gaining as much static energy as he could. Everyones hair soon lowered back down as his own began to stand on end. Pulling away his hands, a long bolt of "lightning" could be seen and heard crackling and chirping as if a thousand birds were singing. The air around him filled with static again as he turned his hands downward and began to push out the electric stream of energy. The chirping grew in volume and a low humming was heard coming from the German boy as he applied even more pressure.

'This is gonna work...I know it will' He thought with a grin. That was until he took his first step forward. It would appear standing still he could get the theory of it but movement was different and as such he did not compensate for it. In fact, he did what he shouldn't have done...Released all his energy in one shot and in a moment he was shot backward by his own power, backward into the group of students, lightning arching off of him with no mercy, jumping from the ground to students. It was a mess and he was at the center of it. This had gone on for about a minute before it ceased and he layed there, unmoving. Two minutes had gone by and his eyes fluttered open as he slowly sat up in a kneeling position, rubbing his eyes before looking up at everyone. What's ewywon looking at." His eyes became big and slowly his lip began to quiver. Tears started to roll down his eyes and he began to cry. It would seem that something had caused his personally to change into that of a....kid?

"Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Stop stawing at meee-e-e-eeeeee!" Streams of tears rolled down. If anymore were to come he could flood the field.

BIRD. GIRL. BIRD. GIRL. BIRD. GIRL." Fanboying was at an all-time high throughout the showcasing of every student and their respective abilities. If it wasn't obvious enough, the match to those quirky powder keg had him thoroughly captivated. That by no means meant that those who followed were gauged in any lower worth. In all actuality, it was hard for Ender to choose any favorites from the pool of students that preceded him. Following Tori was the gender-bended reincarnation of Toph from Avatar the Last Airbender, Lazarus, who nonchalantly transgressed the gap at a brisk pace. The blond chatterbox who sewed quips with every utterance, Kaito, topped both of their scores and followed up his victory with his self-proclaimed quirk Point-to-Point. "Huwaaaaaa, that's a pretty good name. Surprised nobody a generic protag whose hand is imbued with an ancient evil or dark arts has yet to make an appearance. Would totally call 'em 'Pathos'" After a quick character analysis, Ender digested Kaito's demeanor and translated them into stats, jargon more easily understood... by Ender alone most likely, "Doesn't seem like he has that many points devoted to ATK and DEF. Hm, definitely splurged on SPD...maybe placed on or two in CRIT?" Needless to say, Kaito and those that preceded him had graduated from the tertiary character level, as the world's mangaka had decided to pen down their facial features.

Whether the remainder of his fellow students would achieve such an echelon remained to be seen. His vision locked onto the next contender. A spectacled girl who sported a whimsical smile and an air mostly composed of confidence. Mostly. Though that grin gave off the vibe that it would be more than apt to rub salt into an open wound if given the chance. Wait. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaait a sec. "Those hands look oddly familiar..." The boy murmured as his eyes cascaded down to the girl's thin, yet slightly calloused hands, war scars from countless efforts with craftsmanshi- OH! ROBOT. Well, perhaps Meg would have been thankful had she known that Ender was solely focused on her hands throughout her trial, since she had only managed to leap a collective meter. The boy still internally applauded his classmate and gave her brownie points for the attempt, "Room for improvement equals character development, which equals magnification of secondary into primary, which equals long-term involvement, which equals graduation from tropes!"

Just a quick reminder, Ender is by no means a scholar, especially in the field of mathematics. Except when it came to joules... and Romance Points in VNs.

Next up was a total normi- modern girl. Ender could already tell Hana had a dark backstory in which a pigeon dropped its personal bomb on her very first mudcake, which she filled with all of her heart and soul. From there, a vendetta with all avians began to brew and culminate into a one-sided hatred of all winged kind! Even including emus, and they don't even fly! That was obviously the logical conclusion that perfectly sensible people would make. Obviously. Ender's locks relaxed after being blown by Hana's skyward trot. He saluted the brave soul. The bird, that is. He kept his gaze focused on the Tokyo city sky even as his classmate barreled back to Earth. The skybox of light blue accentuated by faint impression of bright hues seemed awfully foreign, distant even. But then the far off sky blessed the mortals below with a gift, or rather, ejected it back to solid ground. The girl landed with a resounding thud, which Ender could've sworn made the ground shake. She proceeded to calmly make an attempt and took her place on the opposing side of the strip.

TRACK CHANGE

Alright, next up was- "There it is!" The gnawing sensation that had been lingering at the back of his head was confirmed within a millisecond. One moment the guy with the pronounced German accent took to the trial, the next only tribulations followed. Ender originally wrote off the facilitation of electricity throughout his classmate's body as a big lunch in the midst of being broken down and processed into energy, but in all actuality it was his natural state. Only now were things truly on the fritz. Time slowed down as the blue-haired boy's senses went into overdrive, completely encompassed by the magnitude of the abrupt spike in electricity. The music blasting through his headphones changed as quickly as the situation before him, nearly drowned out by his quirk's readings. While a fair portion of the class had crossed the sandy boundary into safety, a number still remainder in harm's way.

This was what being a hero was all about. Operating in a formerly tranquil setting. What was originally a preliminary exercise to gauge one subset of physical aptitude quickly turned into a volatile hazard. It was time for Ender to act.

Strands of electricity that should have aimlessly lashed out at students suddenly whirled around in the same direction. More like they were willed. Ender held forward in his hand a spherical object with a glassy cerulean equator. The beams of electricity bent and contorted in tandem to the boy's control, crisply coalescing into one amplified stream. He reeled back his hand just as the electricity collided with the orb. The metallic sphere proceeded to engulf the bout of energy, signified by the gradual illumination of the blue center. "Containment: Check" With the orb still levitated Ender took a short leap back and extended his hand again, now with only his pointer finger and thumb sticking out. "Have to launch it upwards, otherwise the discharge could take down the whole grid." With that mental note made Ender adjusted the axis of his arm towards the vacant air with the energized orb in tow. He hairs on the back of his neck had gone rigid. It was invigorating, really. "Angle: Check." He brought the orb back, as if it was loaded in an invisible slingshot, "Distance: Check." His little contraption wouldn't hold much longer, after all, it was just a little ball designed to store much lower amounts of voltage. "Designation: Railgun. Fire."

From a distance, it only appeared to be a brief glint of light. Two minutes later, the class had a prepubescent man child to deal with.

(Gonna edit in his attempt + why he called it railgun after some food. Don't worry, no electromagnetism. Just Ender being a weeb.)

The entrance of the campus had almost been completely wiped out by the bell of the school. It was almost silent with only a few leaves brushing by from the wind. Softly a distant sound drew somewhat closer. The shifting of feet on pavement could be heard coming from the entrance gate. The figure of a girl looking dead tired came in to place slowly dragging her feet along over the pavement. Her skirt lightly fluttering with the wind with her arms lifelessly hanging in front of her body.

The expression on her face was already telling this wasn't her day. Pleisters were all over her body, even her face was half filled with them. Branches and leaves stuck in her clothing and hair and scraps everywhere. She made it out pretty okay but this still wasn't all too favorable. The outlining of missing bags could be seen in the picture as she gave a sigh. On the train she had forgotten so she tried to run after it only to find the end of the station. Yep this was normal for her.

Anna made her way around school, she had to look for in which class she was sitting. The class was gone from the classroom so she had to find out where they were and eventually she had found them. Quietly she left the building, closing the door behind her and making her way over to the group of people doing some jumps or something. From what she could tell it all looked pretty spectaculair. They all had amazing quirks even though she missed a few from before she arrived. Anna looked quite dense, she was nervous that she might get scolded at on her first day leaving a bad impression for her class.

It was already a mess by her looks and the fact she didn't have gym clothes right now. Anna quietly sneaked up behind the teacher hopefully not getting all too much attention from her class and tried pulling his sleeve lightly to get his attention. Appearing a tad smaller due the fact she was slightly retracted with her back bent and her head a little lowered. She pushed her two index fingers lightly against each other inaanticipation while looking at it to not make eye contact with the heavy presence she felt.

"Umm, s-sir. I am so- I mean this is class A-4 right... I'm humbly sorry I am late... I lost my bags on the train and had a small accident on the way. P-please let me make up for it after class."

Anna looked up at him to apologise and gave a very deep sudden bow to make clear she was feeling sorry. After hearing what the teacher had to say she quietly got near the rest of the group and looked a little bit more confident. She still looked desperatly shy but she at least had that from her mind.

Anna prepared herself for doing the same thing like the others with her school clothes still on. She pulled her hair back into a pomy tail and removed her blazer placing it on a nearby fence so it wouldn't get dirty. Anna got up for the show when her turn was and had it placed in her mind. Sprint, jump, land, walk. Anna went on with the sprint and felt confident. Her expression became a little more serious when she was running but she was held up. Her foot got stuck. Graciously she was going through the air. Both her hands stretched out as her expression appeared a little more panicking. With a thud she came down. She fell on the sand immediatly comming to a stop just behind the running line. 0.3 meter, a new record...

Anna was motionlessly lying in the sand. It became silent making it appear the girl was dead. Anna got herself up and shook the sand off of her. With a beet red face she quickly followed the plan again. Walking, she circled around the other going towards the back of the group ducking and holding her hands against her ears wanting to yell stupid at herself but she contained. Anna silently calmed down and with a sigh stood back up again dusting herself off as she watched the others.

Meg turned her head towards Hana as she fell and muttered a few words to herself. She hoped the poor girl was okay, falling on her face like that. She heard her words and nodded her head towards her in thanks. “Not the best job, but thanks anyway.” And then her friend made it farther than she had. 2 meters more, to be exact. The grey eyes of the female widened from under her glasses. “Nice job, Hana!” she cheered happily, though there was a twinge of jealousy. It quickly faded away as she spoke more words. “You did awesome!”

She stared at the man- Garin, she remembered- and clapped silently before he went. She widened as the electricity appeared on his hands. “F-Fascinating…” she muttered under her breath, eyes lighting up. He could charge her robots later. But for now, she focused on what he was about to do. She winced as the scene played out, and hid a smile as he cried. “Hey, you tried your best there, friend,” she called, walking over to help the poor guy up.

And then it was Ender’s turn. The kid who had fanboyed about Robo-chan? She didn't think she'd see him so soon. He seemed to be using a… cannon. Man, why didn't she think of that, instead of trying to jump on her own? She watched him intently and silently

Watching from the crowd, Anneli had slowly made her way to the back. Ya, she was all for making new friends (Well... trying to at least...), learning and watching everyone's abilities, and potentially showing off the quirk that at least somewhat justified her appearance, but a long jump? "Painu vittuun! Like hell I'm gonna do that!" She thought angrily, continuing to make herself as unnoticeable as possible. As Anneli saw it, best case scenario she goes unnoticed and the class goes on to the next activity. Worst case scenario, she has to go last.

But oh boy, did poor Anneli underestimate what could qualify as "Worst Case Scenario." An arch of electricity suddenly shot towards the crowd, each student reacting and even trying to counter it. But Anneli... well... She had but a moment to herself before the electricity hit her full force. As it came towards her, a single word was uttered by Anneli, breaking her silence.

"Paska..."

The electricity slammed into her full force, causing her eyes to shoot wide open and her body to collapse to the ground. It felt as if every muscle was trying to escape from her skeleton as she sputtered and gasped on the ground, white smoke rising. For a good minute, she convulsed involuntarily before finally coming to a stop. The immediate pain had stopped, but she ached all over and simply laid there, moaning with her raspy voice. Each heavy breath let out a small amount of thick, white smoke. "Vitun mulkku...." she moaned aloud, glaring through her pain at the idiot that just shocked her. "Nurse's... office.... please...." she said, trying to get up.

Dante Mathers

Dante watched with excitement as people attempted the long jump in front of him. The bird girl did very well, quite obviously, getting to use a quirk like that made this whole thing pretty easy. He was excited to finally see Lazarus’s quirk in action, his anticipation had been building.

“That was awesome Lazarus!” He called out as he waved. But there were even more amazing quirks on display. One boy just teleported over the pit with ease, reaching far beyond the required area. It seemed as though not everyone had a quirk suited to this exercise though, which made Dante feel a little calmer. But then the German boy decided to take his turn. Dante watched in excitement as the air around them began to fill with static and energy. It seemed like he was going to try something, but all of a sudden, he shot backwards towards the group. Dante raised his arms to shield his face, but the boy slammed into the group. Something odd happened though, all of a sudden the electricity that should have dispersed throughout the group was gone. Dante opened his eyes to see a bright light shooting into the sky, coming from someone he hadn’t originally spotted among the group. It was a boy that was even shorter than him.

“That was amazing!” Dante said as he looked over to the boy. “Your quirk is so awesome!!!” He could barely contain his excitement as he thought about what it could possibly be. He contained and moved the electricity to protect the group! He was basically a hero already! But it seemed as though not everyone was lucky enough to escape the electricity. The somewhat intimidating looking girl from earlier was lying on the ground, it seemed that she was shocked by the blast. Dante quickly made his way over, it seemed like the shock might have been really bad, she was breathing out smoke!

“Are you okay?!” Dante asked as he helped the girl to her feet. “That looked pretty bad. Professor, I think we should take her to the nurse’s office.” Dante looked over to the man responsible, who seemed to be acting a little strangely. Perhaps his powers were a little unstable? But that didn’t matter right now. Dante could fanboy over his quick later, for now he needed to help the girl get to the nurse’s office.

The Professor

He watched as the electricity lashed out at the girl, before the boy, Dante, that was his name, ran over to her, saying that she needed a nurse. "I think that would be prudent, yes. Students, please continue on this excercise. I should be back before all of you are done. Mr. Sturm, please come with me also."

The professor gently touched the girl on the temple, causing her to go ethereal. Unlike the professor however, she seemed to have some kind of smoke shrouding her, so that the class could see her. He then picked the girl up, slightly swinging her around, so that she ended up braced across his shoulders. "According to various medical professionals, this is the best way to carry an injured person by yourself." He was about to leave, when he remembered he had to wait for Garin

Long Day

'Jumping' Activites

He was a mess. Mispronouncing words, eyes red from crying, snot slowly falling from his nose, he indeed was acting like a child and for good reason. The amount of electricity he used was redirected back into him, scrambling his brain from the overload of current and practically reset his brain. Another waterfall of tears, until the one girl came over and helped him up and he blushed despite his arm hiding his shame.

"Weally? Do you mean it?" His breath hitching every so often. When he heard that the girl needed to go to the nurse he started tearing up again. "Can you come wiff me pwease? I'm scared..." He asked Meg shyly. He was going to be punished and he was worried about what could happen. Pondering what was to come. His eyes widened again. "Are they gon' kick me owt? What if they arwest me? I'm sacred?" As he stood up he jumped into her arms, nuzzling into her shoulder. God was he gonna hear it when he came out of it.

A pang of guilt registered despite the cacophony of the nearby city life. Among the numerous means of transportation, communication, and everything else, that faint curse uttered in a foreign tongue pierced the above, plus the music blasting into his headphones. The stray stream of Garin's ejected electricity managed to steal its way under the cover of the other, far louder entities. Without a doubt, the metropolis would need some getting used to. Ender now had a first hand account for why he needed to refine his attentiveness to adapt to the new environment. With his quirk, the journey wasn't over after he reached his destination. Not by a long shot.

The words of praise a student chanted didn't even register. Though he did catch the sight of a blonde addition setting a new minimum to the class' range, which she followed up by brusquely retreating to the rear of the group. His vision still laid on the girl lying still. It was as if she had been sedated. The scene was only exacerbated by the owner of the quirk who was now in the midst of a temper tantrum as electral as a power plant. At least the professor was quick to defuse the situation with steadfast diligence. "At least I saved most of them." But most wasn't enough. He'd watched enough anime to know that did not suffice. He had his reference material, he just needed to learn how to apply it. Rather than running to the side who was lauding him a moment prior, Ender turned his back on the spectacle.

While Ender could have used a certain device on his person to potentially launch him a fair distance, the boy made the educated decision to not risk it, especially after he channeled and condensed all of that raw power. "Yikes, that guy can easily be a walking death flag. But he can't hope to stack up to my aryan waifus~. Laura Boedwig's eye patch is sooooooooo cu- WAIT. FOCUS. 3D NOW, 2D LATER." With his quirk on standby, Ender was forced to take on this trial the normie way! Pure, insufficient physical demeaningness! He leveled his vision with the strip of sand before him and painted a stern look of determination, the face of a soul who has walked through Bullet Hell and came out in one piece. The boy lowered his profile and took a running pose, "IT'S TIME TO MAKE MEGUMIN PROUD! EXPLOSIOOOOOOOOOON!" And so the blue-haired student sped off at the speed of sound. His headphones almost dared to fall off against the rushing winds. By the game developers above, his speed was over nine-thousand kilometers an hour! And then he leaped! He was soaring- no, rocketing, propelled by his ardor for Megumin's explosion magic!

2 meters

He stuck the landing with a SSS ranking. His pose was the embodiment of perfection with both arms at his side... until he was no longer able to maintain the aforementioned pose. Balance was not in his favor. His blase complexion seamlessly transformed into panic. The boy frantically waved his arms around to regain stability. Unfortunately, he shifted ever so slightly while doing so.

1.99 meters

Dejected, Ender sulked his way from the impressions he left in the sand and took his place at the rear of the line. "Ender." He murmured at no one in particular.

Meg nodded her head at the boy’s question. “I don't usually lie,” she muttered softly. She had noticed his strange actions, but didn't seem to think the electricity affected him that much. The moment he landed in her arms, her eyes widened and her cheeks dusted over with a light pink. “N-Nah, kid, y-you’ll be fine,” she murmured as he nuzzled in her shoulder, awkwardly patting him on the back. “They won't arrest you; you didn't do too much damage.”

Glancing back at her classmates, especially Dante and Anneli, she had a look of bewilderment about her. Her gaze was quizzical, as if asking the group, “What the hell is going on?” Before they would even begin to answer her, she turned to the professor. “I can take Garin to the nurse’s office, if you don't mind. Looks like he wants me to take him, anyway.” She sent a small glance to Hana, silently asking her friend to catch her up on what would happen later.

She pat Garin’s head before continuing. “C’mon, kiddo, let’s go with the professor.” She stepped away from him and offered her hand to him like a mother would to a child. Only, this child was much larger than herself.

She glanced over at Anna as she fell. "Hey! Nice try!" she encouraged the new girl, giving her a half smile. "You don't have to do the best; hell, I was 1 meter away from the line while everyone jumped farther than I did." She then turned her attention back to Garin. Hopefully those words helped her.

Dante watched as the professor carried off the injured girl. He was relieved to see that she was going to be okay, it didn’t seem like it was too bad an injury, but you couldn’t be totally sure. He looked back at the group to see that most of the people had already done their jump, even someone he hadn’t seen here before.

He took a deep breath started walking to the pitch to run. He looked over the pitch and everything began to twist and turn in front of him doing these types of things by himself was hard enough, but when so many people were watching it was near impossible. He did his best to calm his nerves, and started running as fast as he could. Once he reached the end of the pitch, he jumped as far as he could.

“This is it!” He thought to himself. “I think this will be my best jump ever!” He was so distracted by his thoughts, that he forgot about the part where you were supposed to land. His foot hit the ground unexpectedly, causing the rest of him to slam into the sand. After a few moments he sat up and looked around, his cheeks turning bright red. He stood up and dusted himself off, before checking his distance.

1.83 meters.

“Well that’s not too bad” Dante muttered to himself as he looked around. It seemed as though there were more people in his position than he had originally assumed. Quirks were sometimes pretty situational, so there was a chance that some of them might not even get to show off their powers at all. He hoped that everyone would get a chance to though, he was excited to see the other kinds of interesting quirks the class might have. But there was one test he was looking forward to the most. It was the one test that he knew he could do well in. He suddenly remembered that everyone else in the class had given themselves some kind of introduction. He looked around at the group for a moment before he blushed. He had never liked interacting with one or two people in an uncontrolled environment, let alone a class group like this. And they had just seen him face plant into a bunch of sand, it’s not like there was anything he could say to cover that up. He let out a sigh as he resigned to his fate before turning to face the group.

“My name is Dante. My quirk isn't good for this kind of test...” He said as he made his way over to the group of people who had already finished the test. He made sure to take a place near the people he had already met, namely Lazarus and the bird girl. They already knew he was a bit of a ball of nerves, so it helped him relax a little. He stood in silence as he waited for anyone who still had to complete the test.

Lazarus

Lazarus was annoyed at how his score was beaten so quickly, he let out a deep sigh. "Guess that means I have room for improvement" When Kaito returned he stood right beside him explaining his quirk at teleportation and demonstrated by teleporting to the right side of Lazarus. It seemed like a useful quirk to say the least, "You may have beat me this time but lets see if you beat me on the next challenge" Lazarus said with a smirk as he watched Meg go next who got one meter, when she walked back he gave some words of encouragement. "Don't worry about it too much, some tests aren't gonna be suited to our strengths" he said giving a thumbs up. After going Dante came up to compliment their quirks, "Thanks Dante, that wasn't much of a display but you get the idea of my quirk"

Next up was Hana who got 3 meters, she seemed pretty happy with her jump too as well. Lazarus had the basic idea that he was was gonna do just above average on each of the tests but never exactly top score. Next up was Electric boy or big baby, he seemed to have blown himself up into the crowd of students and let out a large discharge of electricity. The discharge seemed to have struck a personality change for Garin. Ender saved the class a trip to the nurses office by attracting the arcs of lightning using a small orb. Well except for one who was on the ground, crispy. Soon Garin and Anelli were on a trip to the school infirmary, 'The Professor' taking Anneli and Meg taking Garin. "They should be alright, hopefully" Lazarus said to the group. Next up was a late girl, she took her jump and apparently fell in the sand scoring a 0.3. she seemed pretty bummed out about it hiding her face as she returned to us. "Don't worry about it, this test is to show our weaknesses so that we can improve them" he said to Anna, he hovered his left hand over her back and used his quirk to take the sand off her clothes. It soon formed into a small ball of sand in his hand . "The names Lazarus, I control rocks and such" Lazarus said with a friendly smile. When he was done he let the ball of sand drop onto the ground. Next Ender went scoring a 2 meters, so far Lazarus had the third largest score out of everyone there. Ender walked back dejected, "We got plenty more tests" Lazarus said laughing and rubbing Ender's head messing with his hair. He kinda liked the guy he was always so optimistic and full of life in every action he took.

One of the students got shocked while someone else was trying to use their powers to make the jump. Anna shocked back at the sight as she held both hands over her mouth in panic. Things like these just happened on these sort of schools like it was normal. Well Anna did kind of expect something like this to happen but already on the first day?

Anna had taken her jump and headed back towards the group.

As she walked back from her failure of a jump she noticed that a girl was looking at her. Shyly she turned her eyes the other way as she lowered her head down a little. Her body stiffened only knowing that someone was watching her. What if she did something wrong now, she will laugh at her most likely. When she was about to cry the girl spoke up to her stating that it was a good try and that it was only to learn and not for a score. Anna lightly looked up at her from the top of her eyes and gave a small smile.

"Y-yea I guess, thank you at least hehe..."

Anna laughed a little getting slightly embarrassed by the prais of the girl. Anna walked a bit more and stopped in her tracks. She carnised the skin of her face softly with the tips of her fingers to feel if it wasn't damaged all too bad. There was only some sand but nothing more. Her legs and arms also made it out pretty okay. Anna slowly brushed the sand from her clothes and body as someone walked up to her. He suddenly spoke to her, Anna looked back at him looking quite defensive from the expression on her face. Her hands both got placed in front of her lap where they neatly bundled themselves together.

"Yea, I hope I'll do better next time."

Anna flashed him a kind smile but from the look in her eyes it was clear she wasn't at all comfortable around the others of the group. As he grew closer Anna pulled her hands up higher and took a few steps back. She had both hands flat pointed at him in defensive position close to her face as her head was turned away with her eyes closed tight. She felt scared he moght have done something to her but after opening her eyes again she grew a little more comfortable. All the sand that was on her body floated just a few centimeters over her body. Surprised she looked at the sand in awe and back at the boy.

"Oh sorry, I didn't realise you had a quirk like that hehe. I'm Anna, sorry if I make you feel like a treat. I'm not so good at meeting new people. Thanks for helping me at least."

Anna tilted her head a little to the front again looking from the top of her eyes at him again with both her hands joined together in front of her chest. A shy smile appeared on her face again as thanks to his earlier deeds.

Tula Kealoha

Long Jump, huh. It wasn’t particularly what she had in mind for Quirk assessment so she wasn’t really sure how her water jets would help her here. This also begged the question, does her hydroplaning count as long as she isn’t touching the ground? Probably not, she guessed. Besides, that was a better trick to use for a ground speed test, which was even more likely given the current test.

Tula planned on taking the test last to gauge where everyone else was and to come up with a plan. Obviously the wing girl would do well here, seemed tough to beat at first. Then that boy teleported. Could teleporting count as a jump? Well if his feet didn’t touch… Darn. That looked impossible to beat. A few classmates followed and jumped posting less than impressive results. It didn’t even seem like they used their Quirk, unless their Quirk was worthless in this test, which was possible.

Up next was another boy, Blitzkrieg as he called himself. He was promising that his Quirk was going to be something volatile and Tula believed him taking a step back. It was better to be safe than sorry in this case. As the boy warmed up, electricity sparked from his hands. Electricity. Oh no. If there was one thing Tula hated, it had to be that. Even a static charge from a regular person was enough to taze her! She didn’t like where this was going and since she was hovering around towards the back, she quickly retreated further so she could hide behind a tree dotting the perimeter of the field. Her bad feeling was justified as the boy blew up in a shower of sparks and soared right into the crowd, electricity whipping around dangerously close to hitting a few people before one arc actually got someone. The boy would be fine but that poor girl who got shocked was down for the count. If that had been Tula, she’d be out cold and her heart just may skip a beat or two from that electrical discharge. Note to self: avoid that guy.

Following the conclusion of that, the professor was about to carry the injured girl away but a few more still had to take test, Tula included! He must have remembered as he stopped and a few more took the test. They took their tests and it looked like everybody was about to leave. Didn’t they remember she still had to take it? Oh. She was late and was sneaky around the back of the class. Wait. WAIT! ”Wait!” Tula called out as she darted from behind her cover, figuring it was safe enough with Thunderstorm, or whatever his name was, out of the way. Tula had a running start, webbed wet feet slapping against the pavement and quickly approached the mark to jump.

She had no great plan. She was just going to turn on the jets and give it a shot. She leapt up in the air and fanned herself out evenly so that she would be better balanced from the sudden thrust. Once at the peak of her jump, she let several high pressure jets of water from her hands and feet propelling herself forward. It was honestly pretty tough to control and due to a slight shake from her hand, she ended up spinning slowing her momentum forward and just spinning very rapidly in the air. What might have been smart to do is angle her thrust down at an angle somewhat instead of just roughly parallel to the ground as she hit the sand pretty soon after she started spinning. Momentum still pushed her forward even though she landed backwards, now facing her classmates, and ended up falling back onto her rump. Even though that was less than elegant, she checked her distance.

8.43 m

Good enough. She gave the class a thumps up and joined the rest of them.

Kaito

Kaito gave Lazarus a quick nod accepting his little challenge, he set his goal to beating Lazarus' score in the upcoming activities. With that in mind, he turned his attention back to those who haven't jumped yet. He decided to give some encouraging cheers for his classmates in the background. Something along the lines of "Do your best!", "You can do it!" or in Garin's case "Give it 110%!". He did not want to hinder their performance, so he typically cheered for them before they started running. After watching Meg and Hana, he felt like he had failed them because his cheers weren't loud enough to encourage the two. Regardless, he synchronized a thumbs up with Lazarus for their efforts.

The next person up was Garin, he doesn't look like the type of person who would purposely cause a scare, so he decided to just follow through with his warning. There was no telling what his quirk will do, so he took a couple of steps back as a precaution and watched Garin basically blow himself away with his own quirk, taking down a student in the process. Despite his newfound personality, it was absolutely terrifying of what his quirk is capable of aside from just charging phones. Good grief, how unlucky for that girl. That quirk is dangerous, better watch out for Garin from now on. Honestly, he was dumbstruck by the situation. Especially when one of the students who stepped up to protect the remaining group, scored rather low for the jump test right after Anna. He let out a forgiving sigh, knowing that this test was not meant for everyone just like the others had pointed out.

The next girl who arrived after Dante, caught Kaito's attention with her water jets. Quite impressive he thought as he gave her a thumbs up in return. Perfect timing too! He was feeling a little dehydrated anyway. Confronting her, he spoke out "Woah, cool quirk! Say, you wouldn't mind blasting some of that water my way would you? You see...I left my water bottle inside..." He trailed off at the end and scratched the back of his head laughing nervously, hoping she wouldn't be offended to using her as a drinking fountain. Oh boy.

The Professor

The nurses office was a short walk away from the training yards. Carefully, he pushed open the door, the goup of students who had come with him trailing behind him. "Hello nurse. We've got an issue, one of our students lost control of their electrical powers and another student was injured." The man at the desk looked concerned, before indicating to a bed next to him. "Put her down there, gently, please. Electrical powers can cause permanent scarring and 'brands.' Why did you let his powers do that?"

"Maybe because I expect teens to have basic control over their powers that even a ten year old should have from my students. Look, are they going to have to sit out the remaining day's exercises, or can they return to the field after a recovery period? I need to get back, the others still have a full day of lessons that they expect."

Long Day

'Jumping' Activites

He followed the professor all the way to the nurse's office with meg in tow. His face nuzzled into her shoulder. They had reached the office and walked inside. Tears began working their way to the surface as the teacher indirectly scolded him for his actions, causing him to cry once more.

"I didn't mean too-o-o-o-ooooooo! He jammed his face into Meg's chest wailing as he mumbled something about "It she alright." and as he did, his wails slowed to sobs and then stopped abruptly.

"Wha-What the hell?"

With his face covered, he felt around and grabbed-

GAHHHHHHHHHHH!" He yelled as he fell back into a extremely low bow.

GOOD GOD IM SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO GRAB YOU!" If he bowed any faster his torso would come flying off of his legs. Garin stopped and looked around, wiping his eyes he came to a realization.

Not again..." He murmured with irritation before glancing over at the Teacher.

"Sensei...What happened to her? Is she going to be alright? Look, I...I was attempting to do...a bit more of an advanced technique. Levitation using electricity off of the electro-magnetic field. I got off the ground an inch or so but I guess when moving..." He bowed low, his voice trembling.

Please tell me she's gonna be alright...
