So when are we going to be starting? I'm pretty content with the teams we have. Everything seems to be shaping up to make this a pretty great RP. Yeah I know we have a few more people working on CSs, I cant wait to start.

I aim to start by wednesday, thursday. I have to host a karate tournament friday, so probably not then. Otherwise, saturday.

This is my odd question, but what are the limits on Sages? Animal wise I mean. Is there a hermit or something for each animal/insect/whatever? I don't recall this being explored canonically after all.

@McFazzer I mean, you're not allowed to have a sage from the get go. It's gotta be earned in the IC. Options for sage-hood in the IC can be explored at a later time.

@Buddha that's what I figured. And if it was developed I imagine for the sake of the semblance of balance it would take up the the S-Class jutsu. I was simply thinking too far down the line :)

Sage mode is weird. Like a character would have to already have extremely strong chakra before they are able to attempt sage mode. To only have 5 minutes of power. Only a hand full of people in Naruto's Canon could actually do Sage Mode. And most couldn't get it down perfectly.

@McFazzer Nah, that's fine. We get this request every time we do a Naruto RP. I always hate to disappoint these people but sage mode is just one of those things that always gets tacked on 'for coolness factor' but never actually is explained or anything. We prefer to have it be earned IC, so that it has meaning.

If I give my character the nickname 'Slaughterer of the Million Uchiha' then that's cool, but it's pretty fucking meaningless if he didn't really earn it IC.

@Buddha well it's probably seen as the only way to 'keep up' if power levels spiral out of control into rediculousness. I completely agree though. It's far more interesting to earn stuff IC.

@McFazzer I think we have pretty decent power scalings so far, and I can always ask people to dial it back a bit once we hit the IC.

@Thecrash20 Genjutsu are pretty damn hard, I think, so I was surprised you went for that. I'm unsure what you mean by style though?

Sorry. I mean how am I supposed to imply it taking effect or even when Im allowed to make it take effect? I mean, we all know genjutsu is bullshit. With one look of the eyes you're donion rings, that why its rare af in the show. Towards the end only Itachi uses it with his Sharigan fukery.

I honestly have no problems redoing it so it's easier for everyone.

@Thecrash20 Genjutsu usually is just part of an understanding between two roleplayers that 'we fight to make the fight interesting, not to win'. So, therefore it will be part of collaboration most likely. I've never seen it used in PVP because it gets cheesed easily, or is overpowered and game breaking. I leave it up to you, but redoing the sheet would be what I'd opt for.
