@LokiLeo789 Yeah, I definitely agree. But I feel like any new custom jutsu needs a valid reasoning and explaining as to how it was obtained.

Simply claiming a timeskip happened + a new jutsu being made during that isn't really development, that's just power up.

Anyway, for everyone; are you happy with the teams, or would you like to see changes? Suggestions?

Oh ya I understand. It's partly difficult cause Branch Family members aren't thought the Trigrams, so observation is the only way he can learn it. But I don't wanna seem like a Neji dick-rider. Meh, I'll figure out a plausible way to do it.

As for the team, as long as my team ain't a sausage party, I'm cool. So I'm cool.

@BuddhaNice teams, but I know you wanted 3 man teams with one leader. Couldn't one of the Chunin Leader one of the teams? It would give you room to put the two other Jounin to lead two other groups and get closer to 3 groups of 4. Chunin are meant to start leading groups of their own. Just a suggestion, I like the current teams though.

@Asura I believe that Bee used a similar technique, but he was also in beast mode IIRC. Not sure. Would have to look that up again. Either way, your character (or, really, any character bar maybe the Hokage) would not be on the level of Bee, so it's not really that important. The deal is it's a chakra blade technique that requires chakra manipulation.

As for the 'getting along' thing, that's why I placed her with Sakana. That's a fun duo.

@BuddhaI think a Chunin leading a bunch of Genin, who is just barely older then they are would be interesting. As for picking one, I wouldn't know where to begin. I'd say pick one randomly but I don't know if that would work or hinder the RP later on.

@Buddhawell hopefully rp goes on long enough for Mū to learn particle style, I would have created a new clan and kekkai genkai but I had no ideas what so ever, maybe if I get an idea as the rp goes on I'll make something.

Comparng any of our characters to the canon would be dumb, as Gaara as a genin was capable of killing Jounin. You will never see that in this RP. (Unless some massive fuckery and actual ninja tactics are involved; A genin will never be more powerful than a jounin.)

The problem with Senju, is their clan's special skill is essentially being good at everything. So, it makes a balanced Senju kinda hard to do.

As time passes jutsu's should be getting more advanced. It wouldn't be too far fetched that the genin would be getting stronger.

Sure, but if the genin are getting stronger, so would the jounin.

Thing is that once you're a jonin, your 'power' doesn't go up that much anymore. You might perfect a technique, or learn a new one, but you're not going to triple or quadruple your power. Unless you pull some shit that goes against the laws of nature.

So, in that regard, sure a genin could become a chunin, but already be stronger than most jonin.

Thing is that what sets them apart is experience, tactics and understanding. A genin->chunin wouldn't have that where as the jonin would. And so, ultimately the jonin would be better despite lacking the powers.

@BladeSS4 @HillanIt isn't a matter of jutsus getting stronger, it's the matter of the shinobi themselves. And as witnessed in Boruto, all they did was develop a device which utilizes miniature scrolls containing jutsus. So now people could just focus on taijutsu. So unless the training system changes, a shinobis strength is up to the individual themselves.
