I'm just throwing this out there to see if any people are interested in a Bleach RP.

At the start only a few Squads will be open and Captained to encourage people to fill those few squads and then work their way into a Captain position for a different Squad. The reason for this is because I want people to earn those Captain positions, to see who is actually deserving of a Captains position. It may not be a long process at all, may be fairly quick if you prove yourself worthy. I understand this will discourage some people and that's fine, we really only want dedicated people who can post regularly and are able to make the time to post. Another benefit to people sharing the same few Squads is that it encourages interactions, builds relationships etc and makes involving people in arcs a lot easier.

As far as story goes we are going to run the Roleplay arc by arc, not all will link together, but we feel this is the best since it keeps things faster paced and interesting.

As far as posting quality, length and speed go.

Quality is simple. Aslong as you can make sense and give the people you are RPing with something decent to reply to then that's fine.

As far as length goes? I'm not strict there. I'd like at least two sentences, at least.

As for posting speed? I honestly don't mind, aslong as it isn't back and forth few liners then all is good. I don't expect everyone to read every post, that's more the GM's job. Important posts will be listed and highlighted so people know where to look to see what important events have happened.

As far as races go people will mainly be playing Shinigami. Other races will become playable for some during certain arcs and only during those arcs, with some special cases allowing those characters to be played after arcs.

Annnnd with that all said Questions? I also plan to post this very soon depending on interest.

I've noticed one of the biggest problems with a Bleach rp is that people tend not to reply. I've noticed some rps put a time limit that if someone doesn't respond after a certain amount of time, and doesn't give a heads up or has a good reason why, then their character(s) are either outright killed or moved aside. Perhaps something like that would work here?

Well yeah I'm going to be a bit harsher on slacking replies. If even after a day that person hasn't responded to say a mission they are on then they will be PM'd and notified that they have been removed from the mission etc. If that person doesn't reply for a week without notice their character will be killed off. Problem is that Bleach RP's need to keep moving at a steady to fast-ish pace to get anywhere and stay interesting to people, something that makes you want to keep checking the RP.

Custom skills will be allowed but probably bring that in a bit later into the RP, likely sometime early next year. Let people settle in a bit first etc.

Edit: Just want to mention that of course if someone has a good reason to not reply to keep things moving then we will likely extend the reply duration to two days or they could just bow out of the mission but that really doesn't look good.

I've always been interested in Bleach RPs but much like one piece rps they tend to die out very quickly. Nonetheless I think I'd be interested in giving it a go.

I'm interested. I don't think I have seen a Bleach RP yet, since I joined a month ago. This should be interesting. As for squads. Will it be one of the normal 13 squads?
