I do extensively apologize for my lack of presence, my internet was cut off for a couple of days, but it is now back!

Awesome. I honestly don't know what I'll be doing. Just saw the concept and a bunch of familiar names and knew I wanted to jump in. Recently I've been toying with the idea of a largish country in the midst of a civil war, but I'll sit on the idea for at least a night and see if I still like the idea after reading the current sheets and sleeping on it.

@Darkspleen A good idea I'd say, check the others out and see if any ideas spring to mind with the current set of nations.

My IC post is finished, however I need either @The Spectre or @hivekiller (or whoever is going to be the neutral host of the conference) to confirm as such.

Until then, my IC post refers to the host simply as "X" and the "Xians", I will edit after confirmation.

If you do go with that idea, I'd like to offer my character, Karak Ubalyz, to act as a military advisor for one of the factions.

Is everyone invited to the conference or just a few nations? Idk if this matter was already decided but I'm gonna ask just to be sure so that I won't derail on the post or confuse everyone.

Dunno. Usually I'd say it should only be the warring powers and the mediating host, but I don't think that'd be a good idea for this (mostly because the vast majority of players are neutrals). Since there are so many neutrals, a peace conference with only the warring powers and the host wouldn't really act very effectively as a tool to get everyone in the same RP plotline (not that we have to be).

As such, I would endorse allowing neutral parties to the conference. It'd liven things up and I figure Earth would be the kind of nation to allow anyone on board just because they were there.

Yup good idea. I only counted one pro-human and two antihuman players. Most of us are neutral like you mentioned. I think everyone(the neutral players except for the host) probably can go there and "watch" as the conference goes. And MAYBE something bad will happen during or after the conference, so players can act accordingly in their IC. But this is just my opinion.

I can volunteer for that position. Indeed, the Conglomerate would most likely not even deem a peace treaty an item worth considering, and its contribution to the negotiations, if any, would probably take the shape of an Ulkor Ruinator ship - all the better if it can strike as Earth itself, notoriously the heart of the corruption that is the Terran species... That said, it would leave some time for various interactions to unfold (as required by dramatic convenience as well as physical necessity, as I shall unfortunately be unable to post for a while in a few days' time), possibly maintaining a token presence at gatherings through an ominously and meaningfully silent hologram. I have half a mind to portray my aliens as a faceless threat of sorts this time over, and what better manner of doing so than having them appear at a general assembly as nothing but shadowy figures and unspeaking assailants?

If you would be interested, my proposal to have a Conglomerate scouting-raiding party stumble upon the Primal Fleet, either as a parallel event with the above or later on, still stands, despite being buried under several pages of revitalised activity.

I think your two ideas could intermingle if necessary :)

And looking at the Conglomerate, they sound they could be perfect allies for the Dathu, or as rivals in their power play, maybe both in a way. And of course we both use artificially grown armies XD

Does anyone want to post their pre-gathering IC before the real peace conference take place?
