Yo, have any of you guys seen "Rubber"? I tell ya, it's a trip.
Oh man, I really wanted to see it when it first came out but couldn't/didn't for various reasons and now I really wanna see it again now that you reminded me of it again.
It might be a bit annoying, but they do it because they just want you to feel better. I like family.
Take your time.
Also for those robot things, I'm more interested in AI as once thats perfected, robots will just upgrade themselves at a much faster rate than we possibly can and that'll be interesting. I'm expecting the robot apocalypse to be Futurama in about 20-30 years, with the occasional oil baron getting bumped off due to being mean to robot kind.
Ai are neat though. One managed to figure out a complex physics experiment in about 4 hours when given the tools to do said experiment and what the end result should be. And with that, in about 15 years we might have a 5th state of matter accessable to the public.
Its not that awesome yet. Its neat sure, but when they can make tech that doesn't use propellers and instead uses EM drives, then I'm impressed.
A neat thing I found out they made is healing gel. Seals up wounds and lets htem heal in like an hour to a few days depending on how bad it was. an hour for a stab wound, a few days for a claymore. Thats nuts.

Powers: Tug is capable of replicating herself to a very large degree with her largest number reached being twenty copies, however, every time she copies herself she and her copies get weaker. She can only make around four or five copies on Earth before the atmospheric pressure and gravity poof her and her clones. Additionally Tugtupite can summon hexagonal, modular shield allowing her to protect herself from all manner of physical and energy based attacks though these shield are not nearly as strong as the likes of Stevens, hence their modular design. Terrakinesis is another power Tugtupite possesses allowing her to subject the earth to her will. This is by far her strongest power allowing her to float through the air on a suspended slab of earth or bash others with heavy rocks. Tug is also capable of ‘reading’ others to an amazing degree. This power allows her to deduce various facts such as their mental state and, with enough time, even able to predict their first action (after their initial action her predictions get less and less accurate).
Backstory:
Tug was a 2nd era Tugtupite gem and originally created with a lack of any of her powers. She was assigned to overseeing colonization projects on various planets where she would mostly work on setting up kindergartens and looking to optimize gem production with the growing increase in inapt gems such as herself. However, while she fulfilled her main roll of caretaker over various kindergartens, she also began to delve a little deeper into the likes of gemetics and see what truly made a gem tick so to speak. As she continued her research she began to do experiments on gems deemed to defective to be used by Homeworld and soon came to an astonishing discovery. Through her research she managed to induce a rapid gestation process in an already formed gem, essentially allowing them to finish their development in a fraction of the time and produce some previously unheard of effects such as changes in maximum hard-light mass or different powers altogether. Of course this process had its drawbacks such as the need for countless other gem specimens to be sacrificed for just one gem to develop properly and if the gem’s cognitive functions hadn’t developed properly to start with, they would stay in their unaltered state of mind, essentially making the process useless.
Tugtupite took her research findings to her gem and asked to be reassigned so that she may work on the process and hopefully find a better and more efficient way of fixing malformed gems and turning them into valuable units. Tug was granted her wish and sent to Earth under the leadership of Bloodstone where she could further her studies into the inner workings of gems and take down the rebellion that had rooted itself on the planet as well.
Other: -She once had a metaphorical heart of gold that came with attempting to raise so many beings from the menial wastes of a planet but she has since become much less nurturing since delving full time into her new studies. -Contrary to most Homeworld Gems, Tugtupite doesn’t hate humans and even idolizes some for their advances in their own sciences, some of which she has been trying to replicate with gem technology such as cloning, lobotomization and transfusion to name a few. -While the workings of human and gem bodies are Tug’s specialty, she is capable of building machines with some degree of finesse though not nearly to the degree of someone more devoted to the process.
Sure they might think it's deranged, but they won't give it a thought after I've eaten their brains.
-Voltaire
I've actually gotten dinner with Voltaire, believe it or not. My friends and I went to a con in Florida, and he was doing a show at a place called The Underbelly. We stopped in at the place next door for dinner and he was there, chatted for a bit. Cool dude.
So apparently Tracer is gay? I really worry about this trend. Every time there is a good strong female rolemodel, they're gay. Its pretty bad for the future due to the lack of strong straight female models, since that means less reproduction. Unless its some kind of population control thing, that actually makes a lot of sense actually... Especially with the relative lack of Male LBGT models.
Example
Tracer/over half the OW cast Princess Bubblegum
And I can't think of any strong fictional female straight icons right now. I'd like to know if there are any. Samus kinda died off after Other M ruined her so hard.
@Archmage MC Tracer and Korra are the only two that come to mind for me. Compare it to the number of straight protagonists in popular media, and you'll find there's still a HUGE discrepancy. I'm pretty happy that companies are finally stepping up to the plate and making gay protagonists/poster characters. Granted, not ALL of them should be, but more is definitely better.

The problem is this.
List Strong STRAIGHT females that are well known.
Now list Strong GAY males that are well known.
Trust me those lists are very very small in comparison and my rambling above has me thinking this is a means of population control and not LGBT rights.
Or just writers unsure on what kind of man a strong female would like, so they pair them up with another female.
I just wanna be put at ease that things are balanced and not being too lopsided one way or the other >.<
Moana Pocahontas Mulan Elsa Emma from Once Upon a Time Black Widow Most of the DC/Marvel superheroines, with a few exceptions Ray from Star wars 7 Jyn from Rogue One Daenerys Targaryen Cercei Lanister
I could keep going, but you get the point. There's no shortage of strong straight female leads. I can't list gay males, but thats because a lot of the 'mainstream' games I play are open world RPG games were being gay straight, both, or neither is a choice the player can decide, so thats a bit of a grey area.

Never heard of the first one Someone from a horrible disney movie most forget. Good point. +1 A LOT of people want Elsa to be a gay icon since shes easily the biggest female icon atm. Shame Ana isn't seen on nearly as much merchandise. Whos that again? I guess, but females in superhero genres aren't in a good place at all and need lots of help. Starfire/Raven from the 2000s Teen Titans were the best I've seen ladies in that genre in the mainstream. See above I'll take your word for it on the star wars stuff, I haven't seen them yet. Dunno who the last two are.
So ~+3 is a little reassuring, but you gotta admit it is a very worrying trend when MALE gay characters aren't made nearly as well, as often, or given as much spotlight as the female ones. Wanna give me more names on both ends? If you don't wanna clog up the topic here you can just PM me them.
Just trying to not be super triggered and need some recent examples to counteract my point >.<.
@Archmage MC If you're just going to discount them because they don't have any relevance to *you*, then no, because the topic is heavily biased. I'll leave it where it is.
@Akayaofthemoon, any word on the IC? Don't want to rush, but I and many others are eager to get things rolling.

Alright, it isn't an easy topic to talk about. I talked to a few other friends and they gave me some pretty decent lists and helped me calm down over that. Though most of those characters don't have Tracer's noteriaty, I can channel that bit of triggeredness into how Blizzard is making OW a PC simulator now. But thats probably why 2017 is projected to be a bad year for OW. I DO need a gay male list though. THAT bit I can only think of Dumbledore and thats it. And thats more worrying.
Unrelated note, anyone heard anything about Japan's giant robot project?
