There was a moment of thought as Sharon listened to the hurricane of reasons given by Liaena as to why she was in no position to recover Rithrynn. Nay, why none of them ever were in such a position in the first place!

"Maybe the giant demon could... "

Sharon pondered for a moment, but it was a train of thought the High Elf would not get to finish as he was suddenly swooped away along with Kathlin through his own portal by a hyperfast Liaena in the blink of an eye!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Runes across an old, wooden floor in an ancient cellar filled to the brim with all sorts of nonsensical junk, constructs, vials and other ridiculous contraptions began to glow in a ghostly blue hue; as a magical wind started to pick up in the otherwise quiet cellar!

Then, a magical portal suddenly expanded, as Kathlin and Sharon, both dragged by Liaena, were suddenly rushed out from it! The sheer speed at which Liaena exited the portal caused tiny tendrils of blue light to follow them from the shimmering portal before disappearing into ghostly mist, and a cloud of old dust was blown up into the darkened room all around them, lit only by the magical light of the portal located in its center!

“Close it!”

Sharon had to take a moment to compose and reorient himself. Whilst the world may seem to move slow for Liaena, the journey had been anything but that for Kathlin and Sharon. The High Elf felt a slight ache in his back, most likely pulled a muscle when he had been suddenly snatched away by the human flash that currently was Liaena!

"It will take but a moment." Sharon finally answered as he nodded towards Liaena, having turned his attention to the portal as he raised a hand towards it.

"What's going on down here?! I've told you many times that my Emergency-Teleport-Circle-for-Rent is, as its name would suggest, ONLY FOR EMERGENCIES!!"

A tiny, yet loud squeaky voice of a female could suddenly be heard booming through the room as the back door to the cellar suddenly shot open with a loud slam, as a smaller, diminutive creature came charging into the room with in a hellish march! Carrying a lit candlelight and dressed in an obnoxious yellow and purple torso and leggings behind a worn workshop apron would be none other than the larger than life Gimpsy Blitzfuse!

Despite her small, 3ft tall stature, the tiny gnome nonetheless managed to emit a domineering presence as she walked up to the group.

Two large, bulbous eyes glared at the trio from beneath her purple and turquoise hair, before the eyes fixed themselves on the High Elf standing close to the portal.

"MISTER DAL'DIEB, WHAT HAVE I,-" Gimpsy's already squeaky voice suddenly rose in volumes as she pointed at Sharon, before suddenly noticing Liaena standing next to her.

"Oh, and hello there dearie! Welcome to my shop! ... "

" ... LIKE I SAID, MISTER DAL'DIEB, THIS TELEPORTATION CIRCLE IS FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY! NOT IF YOU NEED TO ESCAPE YOUR OWN LITTLE PARTIES. WE'VE BEEN OVER THIS A DOZEN TIMES IN THE PAST!!"

"Actually, it's more like twelve... " Sharon tried to interject, raising a finger, yet that only seemed to make the frown on Gimpsy's face grow even wider!

"I am telling you now, Dal'Dieb, from now on, I'm doubling your rent if you want to keep this emergency, and I emphasize, EMERGENCY teleportation circle!"

“Yeah… I’m alright…” Mei replied, feeling her body itch, shift and shiver all at the same time. It was a very familiar sensation, it felt like each piece of her body was being drawn towards the portal and the amount of strength applied on her was increasing by the seconds.” I’ve hit sturdier things that this magic shield, don’t worry.” She replied to Vashi to reassure the girl when the wall was suddenly crashed and the damned face of the now daemon Malizia showed up.

Mei growled and for the first time since this mess began was glad she saw Serphia as she pulled the daemon’s attention away. She needed to do something so Vashi doesn’t fall in Malizia’s hands. Such a thing would be a disaster! Especially since Mei swore to protect the more adorable night elf! She was not letting Malizia get her nasty paws on her nelfie! She should just play with Serphia till both of them are unable to move anymore!

Then she felt it, her body was finally giving in to the forces of magic, she felt her body basically be almost like torn to pieces as it was drawn towards the portal. She hated this sensation, she knew she’d just materialize on the other side as normal, but still this… condition of her that the warlocks experimented on her with was very annoying.” Vashi! Hold me tightly!” Mei shouted, wrapping her arms around the night elf, pulling her as close as possible as her body was pulled through the shield, shattering it and into the portal. She actually felt a hurt, most likely cracked or dislocated shoulder joint from the impact just now. Nothing new really. Good thing was she pulled the night elf mage with her successfully!

Everything for a moment was magical energy before the next moment she felt the very familiar sensation of KINETIC ENERGY! Mei was flung on the other side of the portal as if shot by a ballista! She barely managed to turn in midair to protect Vashi from the impact on the wall.

The wall had actually cracked under the impact, Mei groaned in pain as she slowly looked up, noticing the familiar faces plus a gnome. She liked the gnomes actually! They were very fun companions to have around!

“There was… a reason I was against the portal…” Mei graoned and swiped some blood that was flowing of the edge of her lips.” Vashi, you alright?” Mei asked then and looked at the nelfie in her arms.

"Damn this hurts... I've not felt this much pain since a infernal actually took a hit at me once..."

“Damn this hurts... I've not felt this much pain since an infernal actually took a hit at me once..."

“Sorry about that. Can I help?” Kathlin said apologetically from above them; as the girl crouched down to inspect the tangled mess of Draenei plus Night Elf. “Miss?” (to Vashi) “would you mind getting up please?”

"Oh, and hello there dearie! Welcome to my shop! ... "

Liaena was gazing around the holy sanctum Sharon had dumped them into with coveting eyes, before coming back to earth briefly to realise she was actually being addressed. “…Hi”

"I am telling you now, Dal'Dieb, from now on, I'm doubling your rent if you want to keep this emergency, and I emphasize, EMERGENCY teleportation circle!"

“No no, this was an emergency!” Liaena interjected. Catching Gimpsy’s attention, the girl gestured to the empty space where there should have been a bag at her side. “I found myself without any potions, alchemic powders or explosives! And there was only one place I trusted to have the finest quality to restock all of them. You can help me, can’t you?”

Liaena clasped her hands together as she gave the gnome her very best puppy-dog-eyes and cutesie smile, before pointing at Sharon as an afterthought. “It’ll go on his bill”

“Hm. You have definitely dislocated a shoulder there…” Kathlin murmured as she prodded Mei’s shoulder lightly, feeling under her shoulder pad. “….with some torn ligaments. I can fix it, but I need to get the bone back into place. Which will hurt. Li?”

“Yes, I’ll have two packets of the rotwood powder –“ Liaena was animatedly following Gimpsy around, rattling off alchemic buzzwords with her. Now however, she appeared with a flash next to the small group with Mei on the floor. “—what?”

“Could you ask for a numbing potion please”
Kathlin said blandly, to which Liaena frowned back at her. “Why? Just pop it back into place”
“I could….” The girl sighed. “…or I could take advantage of the fact we are literally in a laboratory. Numbing potion please”
“Okay, but you’re a mollycoddler”

-Zoom-

Giving the empty space where her companion had moments ago stood a long-suffering look, Kathlin turned back to look at Mei. “This won’t take a moment….just, don’t move for now"

"It's... not my first dodgy ride through a portal." Vashi answered after a short pause, before suddenly hearing Kathlin's voice.
"Oh, sorry!"

Without delay, the Night Elven mage sprung up to her feet and got off the battered and bruised Draenei! It was not until she had turned around and looked down at Mei that she finally realized just how beat up the Draenei berserker actually was! Whilst the portal journey had only felt mildly uncomfortable for Vashi, it now became obvious why, as the Draenei had clearly taken most of the brunt herself.

"Typical of Mages to surround their portals with hard stone walls."

Vashi thought to herself, a bit annoyed and concerned at the same time, as she looked about the room.

The room...

It wasn't until now that she fully realized what sort of place they were in, and it was... odd! It was hard for her to even describe what she was seeing as her silvery eyes darted across the dimly lit basement storage/cellar/summoning room. Certain parts of the room looked like it was part of some Gnomish & Dwarven heavy industrial workshop, with cogs, rods and strange contraptions scattered all over the place!
A heavy industrial workshop that had somehow crashed with an alchemical laboratory to create a chemical catastrophy. And that in addition to the chaos, someone had used the aftermath of the collision as a makeshift library, with scrolls and books strewn haphazardly about the place between bizarre machinery and smoking alchemical stills!

"I don't think this place is safe... " Vashi muttered to herself as she observed their surroundings, but mostly the plethora of innumerable safety regulation transgressions.

Clearly this abominable workshop was the place all sorts of work environment and health concerns went to die!

"This won’t take a moment….just, don’t move for now"

Vashi eventually noticed the little human girl named Kathlin as she crouched down to start working on Mei's wounded shoulder and body. Almost immediately, Vashi could sense Mei's warrior pride & badass side flare to life! However, before Mei had the chance to get up and try to fix her own shoulder, Vashi had already intervened!

"Yes, it probably is best if we leave it to the medical professionals." Vashi was quick to comment as she knelt down next to Kathlin and carefully placed a reassuring hand on Mei's other shoulder, whilst giving the Draenei a smile.
"Let the girl do her work. I'm sure she knows what she is doing."

“It’ll go on his bill”

Under normal circumstances, the aforementioned sentence would have made the High Elf cringe, or at least wince a little bit!

However, by now, the part of Sharon's mind that concerned itself with financial means had long gone into a state of severe apathy, having seen his once glorious mansion ravaged. First there had been Liaena's little lab, a minor nuisance with only a small chance of blowing up the mansion. Then it had been invaded by a band of barbaric, no-good Night Elves, only to be finally toppled by two giantesses deciding to play out the year's greatest smackdown right on top of his house!

"Sure sure, I'll pay... " Sharon more mumbled than answered as he gave an acknowledging wave of his hand in the general direction of Liaena and Gimpsy behind him, even though by then, Liaena had already zoomed off with Gimpsy through the shop.

"Numbing potion please”

"Numbing potion. That would be another 4 gold... "

"I got this." Sharon suddenly answered as he turned towards the two girls surrounding the fallen Draenei warrioress. Walking up to them, Sharon muttered a few words of enchantment before he placed his palm on Mei's head. With an instant, Mei could feel an overwhelming sense of drowsiness and lethargy fall over her, as if her body was all of a sudden ready to go to sleep, which only grew more pertinent by the second!

Turning to look to Kathlin, Sharon motioned towards Mei.

"With someone as sturdy as her, I give you few minutes max before she wakes up, so work fast."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Your timing is PERFECT! We just got a new stock yesterday, and I have been working on a new line of products that I intend to launch in th following days! However, I've decided to give you a sneak peak at just some of the models!" Gimpsy spoke fast and sharp, her mouth constantly going as her little legs moved between a fast jog and sprint as she went through the shop with Liaena, picking out ingredients and utensils for Liaena before the black haired girl even would have a chance to mention their full names.

Which was an impressive feat in itself, given the haste spell still in effect on Liaena.

"On that shelf over there, you see the S.F.S, or Solid-Form-Solution," Gimpsy said as she pointed at one of the shelves above her at a strange, box like copper device with a strange set of tubing on top of it.
"Tired of having your potions stuck in liquid form? Simply add them to that device and it'll spray a proper potion and its effects across a 10ft radius!"

Gimpsy said, offhandly grabbing another box of vials and shoving them into Liaena's arms as the Gnome suddenly got a thoughtful look on her face.

"I've also been working on a device I call the Rock-It-Pack," She muttered, pointing at another metal backpack shaped device with two downwards thrusters sitting on another set of shelves a little further away.
"But I still haven't solved the problem of Gluteus Incineratus that tends to happen during its use, mostly involving the operator scorching his backside."

Mei pretty much realized she was not in the greatest of conditions right now. Her body had taken quite the impact from first the magic shield they put around the other end of the portal and then from the impact on the stone wall. The dislocated shoulder was her least of worries and she was about to put it back in place by herself when the human girl decided to help her. She didn't need any numbing potions with this, but Vashi smartly intervened to stop her from acting on her own with fixing her dislocated bones.

“Fine... I will leave it to those who have better training in the medicine arts than myself...” Mei barely stated when she was hit by the sleeping spell from Sharon. Now that was not something she enjoyed very much. Her whole mind was as if suddenly swallowed by a dark abyss, her body started to feel increasingly tired by the moment until she could barely keep her eyelids open anymore. She had to give it to the mage that his sleeping spells were pretty darn good if nothing else.

What was also a fact though was Meirie's incredible willpower and pure damned stubborness. She hang to the last threads of consciousness of hers as the spell was trying to put her to sleep. Her eyes were almost close, but she was still partially awake to a point at least. She could barely gather information about her surroundings as her sight was blurred and her mind was mostly preoccupied with keeping awake.'I ...wa...nt... to... st...a...y... a..wa..k.... … … .. e.' She thought, her left arm slightly moving with struggles to reach Vashi.

“I... noooo s....lee...p....y... “She managed to let out a low moan. It was going to take a little bit more before she starts to snap out of it, but she was hanging on. Warriors of great willpower could resist sleeping spells in some cases multiple stacked on them, but her condition wasn't great with all the abuse her body took today and right now all the wounds.

“Clo...se.. portal...” Was the sentence that she did finally managed to say mostly comfortably understandable. Portals could be traced and she didn't want that. At least though the giant ones couldn't pass through the small portals.

“Don’t worry. It’s closed” Kathlin said reassuringly as the Draenei’s eyes drooped into sleep. “You can tell by the way this shop isn’t on fire”

Waiting a few seconds for Mei to be fully unconscious, the girl placed a hand around the top of the draenei’s left shoulder, and the other on her collar bone, before shoving the shoulder back into its ball joint. There was an audible grinding noise in this, followed by a ‘clunk’.

“That is going to sting when she wakes up” Kathlin turned to Vashi who had been hovering beside her, to remark as such in a confidential tone. “She really shouldn’t be swinging a sword for at least a couple of days. She’s not going to listen to me. She might to you?”

“Hm…no thanks” Liaena said, after eying the jet pack speculatively for a moment. “The solid form solution though…does it work on gases?”

“Mostly. It makes it into a jelly!”

“Uhuh, and what’s the boiling point of the solution?”

“Wha…ah, an excellent point, an excellent point!” Gimpsy said gleefully as she continued to sort through bottles and tins. “The answer is, tests are still ongoing – but if you’d like to leave feedback, I could maybe give you a retroactive…”

The gnome turned around at this point, to eye up Liaena speculatively. “…two point five percent discount”

“ten percent” Liaena said, more to keep up appearances than anything else. The girl was keeping at least half an eye on Sharon at all times, meaning she was not paying full attention to the gnome. The High Elf looked completely miserable, and it wasn’t hard to understand why. Given the circumstances, ‘I told you so’s’ about their acceptance of the Night Elf horde, could probably wait until later.

“Phssh….five percent”

“Fine”

Hopefully at any rate, Sherpa’s agents would be too preoccupied banking as much as they could out of this political and financial victory, to be too urgently attempting to murder the whole lot of them.

“Okay I’ll take two of the SFS…plus some of the transmogrify, a shrinking elixir and the standard alchemic suite”

“….”

“Oh, and for the transmogrify…do you have any subject samples?” Liaena enquired as an afterthought as the gnome was about to bustle off. “For a human, or a high elf would do”

“It’s not part of the standard purchase but I will…check” Gimpsy muttered, before heading into the back.

“We need to have you looking much less distinctive” Liaena said quietly as she headed back to the morose High Elf. “Guaranteeably the watch will be after you for questioning. At least.”
“That also goes for you, Li” Kathlin remarked offhandedly as she wound a bandage around Malizia’s shoulder. “I can see the newspapers tomorrow. Psychotic priestess blows up boyfriend’s manor. Assumed crazed gesture of affection”

“It has been a while since I made the front page” Liaena agreed in a thoughtful tone, before switching her attention back to Sharon. “Regardless, my point still stands”

"You're probably right... " Vashi murmured as she eyed Mei with a look of concern, before she produced a small rag from her bag as she cast a light frost spell on it. Holding it over Mei, she gently placed it over her targeted shoulder.

The cold should presumable help ease any discomfort and help with recovery, and probably make her wake up sooner, following the logic of the age old tradition of showering someone fast asleep with an ice cold bucket.

"Mistress made me do that one too many times... at least she saw some use with my magic."

However, as much as she wanted to stick around Mei, there was also the fact that they were currently in a highly dangerous workshop that could only be described as an alchemical tinderbox that threatened to blow up without a warning at any moment!

It was time to find the complaint department...

"Miss Gnome, I must have a word with you!" Vashi finally got to her feet, her trinkets and baubles clattering about as she turned around to track down the group.

However, before she could find that abject Gimpsy, she would overhear the conversation between Liaena and Sharon.

Pausing, Vashi's eyes suddenly darted between Mei, Liaena, and Sharon, only to rest at the black haired girl. With a ponderous look passing over her face for a moment, she suddenly raised a smile at Liaena as she curled a pair of fingers through her turquoise blue hair suggestively.

"I... may have a subject sample." Vashi added with a surprisingly casual tone, her eyes innocently drifting off to the side as she spoke towards Liaena.

*

"Grrrrrr.... "

"Oh, for the last time, I've told you time and time again, the kitchen is off limits!" Miss Collinz tone could suddenly be heard across the devastated kitchen as the elderly woman stepped into it, carrying a heavy iron cauldron filled with boiling stew as she gave the giant, purple face of Serphia currently wedged in the room a stern look.
"Look at this mess! Half the kitchen is gone! How will I ever complete the evening desserts?!"

"Wha... "

*BOP*

Having just put down the cauldron, Miss Collinz gave Serphia's huge face a bop on the nose with her ladle. Two huge, silvery eyes blinked in perplexing down at the small human. Had this weak, little & minuscule humie just attacked her with a kitchen utensil?!

...

"Well, she does make quite good food."

A brief, inner dialogue suddenly occurred within Serphia's mind as she considered the recent offense. However, she decided to let it slide. The human DID have her uses. And she was quite good at them to booth!

"My apologies, Master of the Kitchen. I am currently saving this mansion." Serphia apologized, a heavy tone of hesitation in her voice, which was as close to a genuine excuse as a human could ever expect from the currently oversized, giant Captain.
"However, if you ever need a reference in the future, you can add me! I commend you on your wor,- "

"And here comes the ROUNDHOUSE KI,-"

" ... sorry, I need to take this!"

And as Malizia's booming voice could be heard throughout the house, the giant Serphia would throw herself back out of the house and spin around, narrowly deflecting a roundhouse kick from Malizia's hoof that disintegrated at least two guest rooms in Sharon's mansion, before the Captain kicked horizontally at Malizia's remaining foot, swiping it out from beneath her as the giant demoness came crashing down with a loud bang!

"It's round two, bitch!" Serphia sneered as she threw herself at her fallen foe!

"I think we both might do well with a low profile." The High Elf said with a thoughtful tone as he eyed them.

"The Mage District is in so much chaos that nothing short of an invasion could have make it any worse. Whilst we are probably going have to deal with the civil aspect of this mess at one point, right now I do not have any plans of explaining myself." Sharon nodded, suddenly getting an idea.
"And Friedrick could probably forge an alibi for me that I was on vacation when it happened, starting yesterday. As for who'll catch the blame well... "

Sharon chuckled for a moment.

"There just so happens to be a building sized giant demon currently running loose in the Mage District. Putting the blame on her should be relatively easy. I don't think she'll be testifying in any court any time soon. Though it might be more difficult to excuse the Captain... "

Whilst Sharon was pondering on what to do with the Captain, they were suddenly approached by Vashi. Sharon eyed the Night Elven magi and the way she toyed with her hair, but a hesitation fell upon the High Elf's face.

"I don't think neither a Night Elf or a Draenei would be that low key at the moment... especially considering that there was a giant Night Elf and giant Draenei just duking it out over in my back yard."
Raising an eye and a smile at Liaena, he nodded at her.
"Any disguise might work for you if we simply fix the story that you got blown up in a blast. I don't think it'd be hard to sell."

Pausing, Sharon took a moment and considered the options.
Magic was dangerous to use. Both the local guard & Sherpa's men were no strangers to the ways of magic, whether it be to disguise himself or teleport. It was possible, but would be risky.
If Rithrynn was here, going completely off the radar would probably be very easy. Although it would have been a method he'd not be too fond of, and he doubted Liaena would like it any more than he would. Then, of course, was the very fact that Rithrynn was in a very difficult place to reach right now, rendering said option even more problematic!

There was also the option of the transmogrify potion, but who to pose as?

"I'm open for suggestions... as long as they are above average level of attractiveness." Sharon eventually conceded, doubting that Liaena would accept a simple glasses and mustachio costume.

"Ohhh, are you SURE you don't want to buy one of my random bags of goodies?! 10 random potions for just one third of the price! Some of my sis Mipsy's leftovers!" Gimpsy's voice suddenly sounded throughout the workshop, closely followed by a tremendous crash from behind the shop as it sounded as if the gnome had just initiated an avalanche of junk in the storage room!

Meirie struggled for a little while longer before her head finally relaxed as the spell overtook her and put her unconscious. It really wasn’t going to work for too long though. Luckily it seemed that Kathlin was rather good at what she did and the draenei’s shoulder was quickly put back into it’s place. The moment that happened, Mei’s rather strong muscles were already back into place, keeping the shoulder secured on it’s place. There was a lot the draenei could do with her muscles alone and she had put quite some effort into mastering her own body. This though was just a thing that happened naturally when one’s muscles were as well developed and sculpted by training like Mei’s were.

Suddenly as expected Mei’s eyes started to open again. She let out a low groan, feeling a rather nice cooling sensation at her shoulder. She threw a glance at her wounded shoulder that was no feeling so comfortable cool. For her surprise she found was a piece of cloth that letting out cold sensation. Surely the work of magic. The draenei smiled, inwardly sure it was Vashi’s handywork! She liked it and was going to keep it for quite a while longer.

“Hey… nice work.” Mei then stated as she looked at Kathlin. The draenei realized the human girl had indeed did well in her craft. It wasn’t unusual to meet healers who could do the not magical side of the craft, but it was nice to meet ones who showed such proficiency at it! She had certainly done it better than Mei would have self fix her shoulder. That coupled with Vashi’s ice compress meant the berserker’s shoulder already felt in very working condition.” Still I guess I should use my other arm for a while huh?” She asked, slowly standing up, showing her quick recuperation from the spell effects.

“If you transmogrify… do so into a human. It will be a lot easier to trick anyone who try to stop you for questioning if you look like a human.” The draenei stated, joining in the conversation.” Also preferably be dressed like commoners… you two should be able to pose as newly weds or something like that on their way to their new home.”

“Li could definitely be dead again”

Kathlin nodded at Sharon’s words. Liaena raised an eyebrow languidly at her. “What’ll that be, the fourth time?”

“Third”

“Third….” Liaena paused for thought, before giving her peer a quizzical look. “What about the dragon?”

“There were an awful lot of deaths to record, and your paperwork got shifted to last because people figured you’d probably show up again”

“Hmm.” The girl frowned. “I’m starting to feel taken for granted here”

“we do need some samples from somewhere…” “Gimpsy, do you have any pets?”

“What?” the gnome gave her an odd look. “Of course not – all of my wares are fully tested for use on persons! None of this nonsense animal tests – highly unreliable”

“Well I could go and get something, if it’s just animal hairs you want” Kathlin offered. “I’m not sure I want to start yanking out chunks of someone elses hair though”

“No, I’ve already got mouse hairs, I used them on that stupid Death Knight”

Liaena pulled a small pouch out of a pocket with her words, to wave it at the others in demonstration. “I certainly don’t want all of us being mice though, Sods Law says we’ll be eaten by a cat, flushed down a drain or stepped on before we’ve gone twenty feet”

“Well, we could just have you and Mister Dal’dieb being them then. I don’t think I’m public enemy No. 1 yet” Kathlin said lightly, before pausing for thought. “Maybe No 6. No 7? We can see”

“I’m not convinced. The White Hand already know about you” Liaena said dubiously, clearly deeply unenthused by the prospect of giving up ownership of what had started as her grand plan, and put herself in the pocket – literally – of her peer. “…Sharon, what do you think?”

” Also preferably be dressed like commoners… you two should be able to pose as newly weds or something like that on their way to their new home.”

"That would be so addoowhable!" Vashi would suddenly exclaim as she clasped her hands together as she gazed at Sharon and Liaena with big eyes, before her enthusiasm was suddenly replaced by a contemplative look!
" ... but it would also be the completely opposite of subtlety... "

Vashi muttered as she squinted one eye at Liaena and Sharon, as if trying to size them up and imagine how they would fit in some funny human wedding dresses! The Night Elven magi had never seen a human wedding before, although she had heard some things about them. Perhaps most importantly, where there was a human wedding, there was always, most definitely CAKE!

" ... are you guys married already?" Vashi suddenly asked, turning to Sharon and Liaena as she gave the two of them a >VERY< inquisitive look!

*

"This is too easy! You give demons everywhere a bad name - as if that was somehow even possible!" Serphia proclaimed as she laughed haughtily at Malizia, the giant demon having taken her place of being face first into the mansion and staring right at Collin's kitchen!

"Mistress! That vile squid face still has moi Aleena!"

"What?!" The giant Night Elven Captain suddenly paused to look down towards one of the few mansion balconies that were still intact, at a Lithrielle frantically waving her arms up at her and pointing towards the stunned demoness at her feet. Serphia squinted an eye at Lithrielle, before her silvery eyes followed the motions of Lithrielle's mad gestures - to finally land on the two giant, big red buttocks of Malizia currently wobbling around in the air as the giant demoness tried to free her head. A task her horns did not make easier!

"I think I know where you mean... " Serphia muttered, as her purple lips turned into an absolutely vicious grin!

...

"Mwfeeh! As soon as I get free, I am going t,- aaAAAAAAHHHHH!"

"Mistress, you saved me!!

The struggling noises coming from Malizia would suddenly be replaced by a deep, shuddering gasp of pure rapture as Serphia could be seen standing high over her rear, holding a freshly freed Aleena in her grip! Eying her little sentinel with a wicked expression, Serphia would raise an eyebrow casually at her.

"Tell me, Sentinel Aleena, weren't you my promised slayer of big beasties! Hmmm?"

"Well, I... uhmm... " Aleena stammered for a moment, pausing.
"It was a classic rear attack maneuver, mistress! I almost had her!"

"Ohh, sorry then. Let me put you back inside... "

"OH-NO-NONO, mistress! It's all fine out here! The fresh air just gave me some new ideas!!!" Aleena quickly clarified as she waved her arms frantically at her Captain's smug face. Serphia enjoyed this in no small part, but before she could gloat any further, she noticed as Malizia suddenly shot a hoof out against her!

Deftly dodging the backward kick, Serphia merely chuckled as Malizia managed to pull her head out of the rubble of the mansion and come in with a wide haymaker! Serphia moved her arm forward to prepare to meet her, but suddenly... something happened.

The big, red incoming fist of the demoness was suddenly rapidly growing in size, becoming bigger and bigger! And so was Aleena, suddenly too big to be held in her grasp. A quizzical expression, followed by a very concerned expression dawned on Serphia's face, and it was only too late that she realized what was actually going on.

"Mistress, look ou,-"

*SMACK!*

As both she and Aleena were hit by the red truck that was Malizia's giant fist, Serphia's world would be turned upside down as the once confident Captain was blown away; up side down; out across the city, the High Elf's mansion and the giant red horned woman becoming smaller and smaller as the two Night Elves flew across the horizon!

Using all the strength she could muster, Serphia would grit her teeth and utter some final words of spite.

"Vashi, if I ever see you again, there will be divine retribution to pay!!"

There was an obvious stall from the High Elf as the idea of turning themselves into mice began to proliferate through the room.

"Erheemmm... " Sharon uttered as he visibly pulled in one of the lower edges of his cape whilst gazing back at Kathlin and Liaena, as he looked about at them. There was no attempt at a poker face from the High Elf as he most certainly did not seem enthusiastic about the whole prospect.

"What is wrong with a good old invisibility spell now again? Not to mention I really can't cast spells as a mice, so if we were to suddenly need an impromptu fireball... "

"Plus, I don't think I'm quite ready for the furry parade just yet!"

" ... are you guys married already?"

The lower cheek of Sharon's face visibly contracted in discomfort when he heard the voice of Vashi, as he subtly raised one eye to stare at the Night Elf mage.

"This conversation is getting out of hand! I pray to the light, please, send help!"

Sharon gritted his teeth as he prepared himself to answer Vashi, when suddenly a distant scream made him raise a brow in surprise and look up towards the roof. Just in time, as soon a heavy crash could be heard from the floor above, before suddenly the roof above their heads cracked and broke as a two purple bodies would fall through the roof and into the shop!

"It's the SKY ELVES! MY THEORY WAS CORRECT! AAHHH, THEY HAVE COME TO KIDNAP ME!" Gimpsy's terrified voice would suddenly be heard across the shop as the little gnome immediately threw herself into the nearest cover.

Sharon, however, was not as surprised, as he looked down at a pair of dusty, disheveled Serphia and Aleena as they lay on the ground, having successfully wrecked one fifth of the workshop in their entry, and groaning on the floor.

Nonetheless, he could not help but let out a slight sigh of relief.

"No, unfortunately I think you need to question the validity of the empirical material." Sharon added as an aftertthought to Gimpsy's earlier proclamation, as he motioned towards the two fallen women.

"It's just Night Elves... "

“Best place to hide a tree is in a forest. The same with books, if you need a book hidden hide it in a library. In this case you need a person hidden, just hide it among other people. We are in human territory after all, a few humans here and there won't attract that much attention as you think. Travelers go between cities and villages all the time, people travel from place to place for days off, some return to their villages of birth, some go away from the capital to simply search their luck or to escape the busy life at the city.” The draenei explained to Vashi why hidding as humans were the best idea.

For some reason her cute little night elf was very interested in Sharon's and Li's relationship status. Not that it wasn't interesting, but now probably was not the time to ask those questions. Then again when it came to night elves, the time and place to do stuff didn't matter as they by origin didn't consider those things. When it came to nelfies it was always whatever whenever sort of behavior, but in Vashi's case it made her look just that much more adorable!

“Wait.. what is this sound?” Meirie asked, noticing a certain distant screams that were getting stronger and stronger. Then the impact happened and moments later two lumps of flesh crashed down. Well night elves, whatever whenever... point proven!

It was at that moment that the draenei berserker recognized the night elves.” QUICK! HIDE THE DAMAGE ON THE BUILDING WITH MAGICAL ILLUSIONS!” She shouted towards Vashi and Sharon as knew that Malizia wouldn't simply leave her pray escape easily.” Hurry, before we have a giant uninvitited guest of the fel variety!” She stated, slowly attempting to get up on her legs in case a fight was about to break out. If the mages hid the damages, the demon wouldn't have a way to actually discern which was the place that the night elves crashed, effectively protecting them from the demon's actions.

“Are you guys married already?”

Liaena stalled in her tracks, before rotating to give the innocent looking Vashi a very, very cold look. The Night Elf seemed to be oblivious to the nasty edge the tone of the room had taken, as the girl cultivated her biting response. “N…”

“Not yet”
Kathlin remarked amenably, apparently utterly unaware of the glower that had immediately switched focus. It certainly seemed to satisfy Vashi though, who was looking unreasonably optimistic with her chances to be wedding planner considering how deeply unenthused the most relevant part of her audience looked. “Oooh then…would it be soon? In the next two weeks, maybe?”

“I need to get some better friends”
-CRASH-

Like Sharon, Liaena’s initial feeling from the extremely rude interruption was relief as the two Night Elves crashed through the ceiling. Not the most common reaction from the girl when dealing with Serphia, although it was not entirely unheard of. More commonly it was related to the Captain helpfully killing whatever gribbly had been threatening them, saving her from an awkward conversation was probably a first. Still, she wasn’t about to look a gift horse in the mouth.

“Yes, do that!”

The girl cried out, glancing at Malizia in acknowledgement at her words as she also stared at the big hole in the ceiling. Kathlin meanwhile, was making quiet noises of protest as she helped the Draenei to her feet…an unachievable feat for her if she was not also receiving the assistance of Vashi. “I don’t suppose you could not get up? Okay. You’re getting up, I get that but can we negotiate on sword swinging?”

“Where is the demon? Is she still Cathedral sized!?” Liaena demanded as she glanced at the two Night Elves that had just made a rapid entrance. The girl sized up Serphia, looking her up and down to take in all of her battle scrapes and scars. “I’d hope you managed to make her hurt for this, at least”

“Where is the demon? Is she still Cathedral sized!?”

" ... "

“I’d hope you managed to make her hurt for this, at least”

A low but deep groan disguised as a growl emanated from Serphia, as slowly but surely, the Captain started to move again after her recent painful but still so very epic entrance!

Opening one silvery eye to discover the source of the incessant questions, Serphia would zero in on the small, black haired human girl standing over her and looking down at her, not with so much concern for her well being than a dose of curiosity mixed with annoyance at the situation.

"I would have... " Serphia growled in a deep voice as she sat up, a layer of dust falling from her person as she did so.

"Mistress, you are okay! I'm so glad to see,-"

" ... if not for a certain half-rate useless potion that stopped working the moment before I could execute my finishing combo... !"

And with those words, Serphia's eyes eyes trailed across the room to land on Vashi, the turqoise haired Night Elven mage stopping right in her tracks; before shrinking away behind Mei as if hoping to vanish from Serphia's piercing gaze.

*Cough*
*Wheeze*
"Mish-mistress.... I can't... breaaaathe... !"

Suddenly sounded the painful voice of Sentinel Aleena, coming from below Serphia. Fortunately for Vashi, it was at that moment Serphia would take her attention away from her to notice the unfortunate Aleena whom had inadvertently been turned in a collision cushion for the large Captain during the fall, and currently trapped under the Captain's own large and well trained rear!

"Thank you, Aleena. At least you covered for me!" Serphia said with a dangerous voice, eyeing no one in particular though meaning otherwise as she got off Aleena who let out a desperate gasp for air as she rolled over.

Standing up, Serphia couldn't help but feel a sense of nakedness.

This was not so much because of the fact that the Captain was still completely naked after her scuffle with Malizia, sans armor or clothes. However, it was more related to the fact that as she reached some itchy fingers down to her waist, she could not feel her sabers nor daggers, not even her plated gauntlets with some lustrous "pain-ridges" cut into the forward fist area. Although her trained fist and legs could be considered weapons in their own right, the Captain felt nonetheless uncomfortable not having one of her favored tools of murder within arm's reach!

"I need some wargear! ... GNOME!" Serphia suddenly pointed at Gimpsy.
"In the absence of some proper gear, you have just been elected for the rare honor of equipping a proud warrior of the Keldorei! Bring me your best equipment! As the goddess as my witness, I am on a righteous quest of vengeance!"

...

" ... and you can put the tab on the High Elf."

"It should take but a moment." Sharon explained with a confident smile in response to Mei's concern as the High Elf turned to point his staff at the roof, channeling an illusion enchantment across the roof to make it look intact. A slight shimmer would appear above their heads in the roof as the magical light started to take the shape of a perfect image of a fully-in-tact roof.

As long as no one had the ability to detect magic or was unfortunate enough to step on the illusion, it should be virtually undetectable to the human, even elven eye.

The whole performance was done with a great degree of calm by Sharon. The fact that they were on the run from a massive, gigantic demon; the fact that two Night Elves had just come crashing through the roof without warning; or the fact that there was currently a completely naked 8ft tall Amazonian lady standing in the shop, did not seem to phase him much. It was not so much only his experience with Liaena's shenanigans or Rithrynn's warband that had made him inured to the zany events around him, as he liked to contribute much of that mental resilience to his general centuries of life and extravagant lifestyle.

However, the High Elf's seeming calm would be broken when he suddenly heard Serphia slam down the bill on his tab!

" ... and you can put the tab on the High Elf!"

"Now hold on a second!" Sharon abruptly proclaimed as he turned around to glare at Serphia with his azure blue eyes, ignoring the dollar signs that just appeared in Gimpsy's eyes, whilst still pointing his staff as he continued to channel the illusion spell offhandly.

"I am not going to cover for your tab at every occasion, my dear 'mistress'! I am not your personal sponsor! If you couldn't even defeat that demon; which by the way is hardly one third cathedral size, so don't pat yourself on the back quite so much; while your ass was large enough to sink an orcish warship, I hardly believe any amount of wargear is going to give you a fighting chance against your nemesis!"

Sharon was quick to call out. However, this was also the time when the rational part of his brain just kicked in, and the High Elf leaned backwards as he suddenly became the center of focus of the Captain's glare!

" ... maybe I should have just paid the bill."

Sharon privately thought to himself, secretly cursing his sudden outburst. However, in order to avert disaster, he later added.

"I know both me and Liaena are in the room with you, but we are all on the run. Surely you could just have your lieutenant requisition some new gear, or send your warband out... they seem to have a natural aptitude for pillaging and raiding the property of others."

Sharon said with a much more calm voice, secretly trying to look away from the Captain, whilst hoping the name dropping and mention of lieutenant would serve as an incentivizer for Rithrynn, perhaps even Falere, to "calm" their Captain before Sharon would suddenly fly out the nearest window!

Mei stood up like a tall wall between Serphia and Vashi now. The captain seemed more focused on the other sentinel and the fact she lacked any equipment now as she had decided to demand weapons and so on from the gnome in who's shop they were in. Not hte best tactic as gnome shops rarely had in stock proper weapons for warriors and even more so night elves. The draenei sighed and shook her head." This is a tinkerer's shop, captain. You won't exactly find weapons to your taste here unless you are versed in engeneering creations." The draenei stated to Serphia and looked at Sharon.

"Master Sharon, what's the chance for you to open a portal to the Stormwind's bank?" She asked with inquisitive expression." I have put in storage a considerable amount of my old equipment. I could easily arm the captain here and myself, not to mention a certain amount of potions that I massed when I was still on active duty." She stated and looked a the human girl who seemed a huge fan of potions." While probably nothing to the degree you seemed to possess, but still should come in handy. I hardly drank any of them since they were given to me by a crazy gnome alchemist that was part of my old group. You may be able to make heads and tails from them since i have no idea what half of htem do."

"And finally there's the..." Mei started to say when suddenly she stopped and made a confused expression. Finally she closed her mouth as if deciding whatever she was about to say was better left untold. Yeah... mentioning those explosives she had was not a good idea....

"Anyhow beside that we should really think of a way to deal with the giant demon rampaging in Stormwind cause with her there even if you manage to escape the city, she'd be pretty fast on catchign up with you if you're found out." Mei stated, wondering about hte temporary giant potion she had. There was always the possibility of just drinking that and askign Vashi and Sharon to open a portal to the Naaru know where. With Mei's body condition as long as she held onto the demon, both of them would get pulled into the portal.

While hardly cutting as imposing a figure as Mei, Liaena had also been quick to position herself between Sharon and Serphia. While her boyfriend’s words had mirrored her thoughts albeit with slightly less flowery language…. personally she would preferred to have shrunk Serphia before making such comments.

Opening her mouth to form words that would almost certainly have contained the items: “stupid” and “fat”, Liaena was saved from having to redirect Serphia’s ire by Mei making her presence felt. In no small order of magnitude. The girl stared at the Draenei as she talked on, and on. “….Yes. That would be good. Thanks.”

“What about the demon? How long do you think that giant potion is going to last?” Kathlin enquired from beside them. The second human had approached the group, now it was evident that the immediate threat of Death-By-Serphia-Smash had passed. Liaena gave her a quizzical look, before considering the question. “Er….a few hours? Maybe more. I don’t do half measures, unlike wherever the great Captain got hers from”

The girl received a passing glare from Serphia at this point, but the Night Elf was currently too busy quizzing Mei on the contents of her bank vault, to pay too much attention to insolent humans. “Okay, and the love potion?”

The danger signs had now materialised to start blaring in Liaena’s head, and so she instead affected an idle shrug. “Oh…no more than a few minutes. I made it to be a distraction…or a joke”

“Alright, so there’s not going to be a giant crazy love sick demon searching the city for me?” Kathlin enquired, her tone suggesting she was not particularly convinced by Liaena’s claims. “Because I did use Light magic in front of her. And something like that could probably sense where the Cathedral is”

“….”

“….Ah, it’ll be fine….” Liaena waved her concerns away. “….She’s got that girl that tried to kill us to play with!”

“She didn’t try to kill us”

“She was with and helped the people that were totally trying to kill us”

You hang out—“ Kathlin snapped, before lowering her voice to jab a finger at Serphia. “—with that”

“…she’s better than a death knight!” Liaena protested, before also turning to size up Serphia. “maybe. If you squint”

"What... did you say?!"

A visible vein would suddenly pop in Serphia's forehead! For a moment, Serphia visually imagined for herself how she could kill the High Elf on the spot using the six nearest objects. Said objects being a big brass rod, a spanner, a mining pick, a teacup, an iron, and of course the Gnome Gimpsy herself.

Yet the murderous look on her face would soon give way to a reddish blush as she felt a renewed vigor from Rithrynn, deep inside of her butt, who had suddenly become agitated!

Swaying her hips, she'd turn to look down at Sharon, attempting, but also clearly failing, at keeping a stern, authoritarian expression between the look of comfort and delight.

"Just you... watch your mouth, High Elf." She more mumbled than said, before taking a moment to straighten up to help inch the hapless Rithrynn a bit further, enjoying every second of it; before the murderous part of her brain again reminded her that she had still lost to that demon, and so slumped her big butt down onto a nearby crate!

"Mistress... are you,"

"We have a demon to slay!" Serphia quickly stated, raising a hand.
"Or, more precisely; I have a demon to slay! Whoever brings her down, remember that I will have the kill!"

" ... are you sure charging at it again is going to work?" Aleena muttered carefully from the sideline, the Sentinel apparently having recovered from her unfortunate role as collision pillow for her large mistress!

"Yes! ... no, actually, I am thinking of an ambush while it's busy terrorizing the silly apes in this city." Serphia muttered, gaining a modicum of thoughtfulness on her face.

She knew a thousand different ways to kill an Orc. But a more than 50ft plus tall giant demoness DID tend to limit the number of available approaches!

She doubted any of the mages in the room alone had the firepower to kill the giant demoness. But even if they had, she'd never let them steal her kill!
So it would be a matter of restraining the demoness, or hold her in place long enough for her to deliver the killing blow! But to deliver an effective killing blow against something that big, she'd need a big weapon. A sanctified weapon.

"I never thought I'd ever miss our Moon Priestess... "

"Sentine Aleena!"

"Yes, mistress!"

"Go to the humie Cathedral and bring me the biggest, holiest; by blasphemous human standards; and spikiest thing you can find! And you,"

Serphia turned to narrow her silvery eyes on Mei.

"What exactly sort of stuff is in that vault of yours?" Serphia asked with a dangerously inquisitive look on her face, a look both cold and analytical, with a frightening, murderous intent hidden behind the crystal clear features of her eyes. But before Mei could even give her an answer, Serphia's left ear would suddenly twitch, her elven hearing picking up on something, as Serphia's eyes suddenly darted over to Liaena and Kathlin.

" ... what's that about a love potion I keep hearing about?!"
