... Honestly, I think Rose isn't actually being particularly stupid right now. ^^; If the Headmaster didn't think it was totally okay, she'd be being stupid, but at the moment she's more being silly then anything.

I mean, when a Witch is weak and not a threat at all, isn't treating them nicely a lot better then attempting to kill them horribly? If they do become powerful at some point, then they'll have lots of memories of being treated nicely and pleasantly. That's probably not the chief matter in Rose's mind(she's more concerned with hugs and ice cream) but it's there somewhere.

I just think it's kind of weird to see her called a complete idiot for something the Headmaster basically said was just fine.

... Not that she won't do anything stupid, she's totally oblivious and a complete ditz even if she's not actually dumb so it's going to happen plenty, but this time it's just a little weird.

Well, people do have differing opinion about everything. One might think Witches are ok if they are harmless and all, and might grow up to actually be nice, but others might want to cull them before they grow up and become powerful enough to become a threat.

So, you might think its weird, but what of our characters? Each of them are unique in their own ways and form their own opinions in different ways. So being thought of as an idiot is perfectly plausible. Remember it is our characters' opinion, not necessarily ours.

I don't quite understand that view except in the case of recent emotional trauma mostly because of how it's even canon that killing witches indiscriminately is stupid and there's nice ones in canon. ^^;

And it's mostly because even the Headmaster thinks it's totally okay, really. It's only the one recent post that bothers me that much since the character wasn't even acting like that before.

... Then that post is really hard to read anyway so I might not be understanding.
