"Oh, why thank you and thank you," Ally said in response to Charlotte's compliment and the offer of candy. She took three pieces of candy and slipped them into a pouch of her utility belt. She didn't intend tp eat one piece herself, not even the one Ravin gave her. She would give every piece to her family. Ravin then mentioned Charlotte's gloom and Ally agreed, "Yeah, is something bothering you? We're teammates, so maybe we can start by helping each other?"

Then Saren mentioned his prejudice against humans. Ally wasn't sure whether to be offended or not considering humans had prejudice against each other based off of trivial matters like color and gender. "Is there a reason you have a bias against humans?" Ally asked Saren, genuinely curious. Perhaps humans were much more terrible in his universe than in hers.

She turned to Ravin and then answered his previous comment, "Yes, in the earth I come from candy and sweets are very rare." To his offer of a candy fix when needed, she chuckled and said, "Thank you, I might have to take you up on that offer."

"It's nothing much. We're a team, allies, though," Charlotte turned the coin over in her hands, then held it out to stare at her own distorted reflection in it, "and that helps a lot. A bunch of heroes, right? Even you, Saren, right?"

The little Witch looked over to Saren as she questioned him, flipping the coin over such that he might be able to catch a glimpse of his own reflection in it too, if he cared to look down towards her. It perhaps wasn't particularly fair to think that he looked odd, as this whole situation was quite bizarre to say the least, but compared to Ally and Ravin, well, maybe he was as monstrous as he looked. Not that such a thing, if true, would be that bad.

"Or are you a monster too?"

"It's Saren, so yes, you were a long way off. And-" Saren had a serious problem with this guy now. However, before he got any further, he stopped himself. He may have to trust Ravin with his life soon enough. He needed to be able to. "and you're right. We're not going to get far like this. If we are going to work together, this should end now. Agreed?"

In response to Ally's question, Saren responded "It's not just me: many turians dislike humans, whether it's excusable or not. It's a long story. First you've got the polar opposite societies: In turian society, you are expected to be utterly altruistic. A turian who sacrifices himself to save dozens of others will not be remembered any more than any others, because that's the decision every turian would make. Failing to make that kind of decision isn't a sin, it's an aberration. Doing so isn't a bad thing because it isn't a thing at all, in a turian's mind. Humans are the opposite. So many of them (no offense) are greedy and self-centred. They'd rather do a small thing for themself than a great thing for everyone else. That's what many turians have a problem with. First contact relations went poorly as well. When humanity first gained faster-than-light travel, dozens of other societies had already reached that point. Turians found a human ship about to commit a crime against the Council, the united civilisation of countless intergalactic species, by flying into illegal space. Since the turians have always possessed the greatest military might, they are the main policing force in Council borders. As such, they opened fire on the ship, destroying it and starting a small scale war, in which the rest of the Council intervened before it reached full scale. There were less than a thousand casaulties on each side, but three months of war is never a good start. And it was a war that cost me my brother. The turian point of view is that the humans reacted poorly and they were just doing their job. But even after the war, humanity displayed foolish arrogance and agression. After peace was established, humans began rapidly colonising empty planets. Some Council species have had FTL for thousands of years, yet in a few decades humanity controlled more planets than any other known species in the galaxy. Many of these colonised planets were being wasted - maybe only one or two tiny settlements yet legally the entire planet was theirs. Of the Council species, only three had a government representative, a Councillor: the asari, the salarians, and the turians. There were some races who'd been attempting to gain a Councillor for centuries, yet humanity had the audacity to request one after 26 years, without making any significant contributions to the rest of the Council species and using up a huge amount of resources. I hope you see now that I am not a petty bigot. I hope you exceed the expectations I placed on the rest of your race.

Later, when Charlotte asked Saren if he was a monster, he said "It depends on what you call a monster. I am definitely something very different to you, and I have done bad things in my life. I want to do good, though, and that's what I meant to do even at my worst. So I suppose we are a bunch of heroes, yeah."

Ally listened very carefully to everything Saren said. "Yeah, that does sound like something humans would do," she sighed and continued, "My earth isn't as advanced as that, but everyone is against each other on mine. Every day is a struggle, no matter age, color, or gender, but everyone still fights amongst each other. That's the human weakness- once threatened we fall apart." Thinking on everything Saren said, she could understand his bias against humans, and even sympathized his loss of his brother. "I'm sorry for the human ignorance, but you'll learn not every human is like that," Ally assured him, holding out her hand for a handshake. (He has hands, right? XD)

"A monster?" she mumbled under her breath, hearing Charlotte's question and Saren's response. He didn't seem monstrous in any way, even though he looked different from them. Heck, most people in the Guild didn't exactly look human, so Ally didn't see anyone as a physical monster. She liked Saren's answer however, and agreed, "Yeah, we're all heroes now, especially since we'll be going on missions together." Her mind was then brought back to their missing leader. Where could they be?

Bastila

A cough echoed as a young woman step onto the stage to speak. "I need everyone to remain calm. I'm here as a replacement to my friend who is running a little late. My name is Bastila, I am the leader of Team one" Bastilla gestures towards the door. "I don't like Freeiza, but we work together in order to help protect our universes." Bastilla walked down to her group giving them words of encouragement "Saren I'm sure your technological know how will make you quite popular here." "Ally don't loose faith you're a hard worker and we invited you hear because we know your potential." "Charlotte no matter what you hold inside we all have shadows and you deserve to be happy"
"Ravin I'm sure we'll be good friends before you know it" Bastila stood a becon of calm relaxing feeling truely trying her best to make this place a home for her team.

Ally was surprised when their leader finally appeared. The woman was calm and stable, something any good leader needed. Her words were encouraging and personalized to each member of the team, something a lot of leaders wouldn't think of doing. "Thank you, Bastila," Ally said, grateful for the kind words, "Are we going on our first team mission now?" It sounded like Bastila was going to be the temporary leader, and based off her introduction Ally wanted her to be the permanent leader. If they weren't going on a mission, Ally would train for a couple hours and go home to her family.

"I'd like that, friends tend to make for--" Interrupted by the bleep of his cellphone, Ravin stopped talking and looked at his smartphone. "...good company. That being said, it seems there are some missions we might want to check out, let's go guys. Sorry Bastila, I'll properly introduce myself another time."

Followed by his team, Ravin headed off to the mission board. Skimming over the missions for team 2, he picked one mission to begin with and stated the order he would like to do the others in. "I suggest we start with mission 2, there are probably the most people at risk and we'll be able to practice some teamwork as well. I would take on a bunch of supervillains, but it has a high difficulty rating and we have no experience working together. As for mission one...I guess Frieza was right. Our teamleader is a fool. But, fool or no, he's our teamleader so he should be able to manage for himself."

The team swiftly agreed and headed of on mission two.

"Attacking and kidnapping people from an innocent planet," Ally murmured, shaking her head. "They must have some important information. What do you guys think?" Although she was upset about a group of innocent people missing, she was also excited to learn how to work with her new team. She then began to wonder what the planet would look like and how far they would be from The Guild.

Bastila smiled at her eagerness leading them to the central teleporter. It was a large blue circle carved into the floor surrounded by with marble. "It understand your eagerness, but be very careful. I'll assist you throughout the mission where I can, but I leave the majority up to you. I implor each of you to work quickly as the rules of this universe will function differently from our own." Bastila gently activated the teleporter stepping through in gentle strides. When she did there was a small zapping noise. When she landed Bastila sighed happily looking around.

Nessa giggled, bringing her bent legs closer to her chest while spinning in the air. This John Freeman human amused her greatly. At his loud suggestion of beginning their first mission, she let out her own cry of excitement and flew after the human. It had been awhile since she had fought any villains so this was going to be very fun for her.
