Yea, mostly Christmas is based on the gift giving of the Magi at its basis, and the Christians kinda formed it around Jesus' birthday, but really the Magi did not get to Jesus until He was like two or something, and His birthday is not actually known but suspected to be between February and April. I think the Catholics were trying to cover up a pagan holiday around the same time, so they slapped a Happy Birthday on the date and rolled with it. I can't remember the details of why they chose that date, but since I am Christian I can confirm the religious side of the celebration.

Though I will do it soon. But Duece should totally be annoyed and had to wait like twenty minutes or half an hour or something XD

Yeah it was something stupid slapped together. I'm not an expert so honestly I didn't care all that much
Yeah pretty sure there was a pagan festival around that time as well. And we all know how much christians LOVE ruining other peoples fun/stealing their festivals :D (Ok, Christmas is the only one which immediately comes to mind XD)
But does anyone remember how Santa actually got involved properly XD Like as in Saint Nicholas, since he was the patriot saint of prostitutes or something XD I think he gave them a home or something or the other. Don't know, I just remember the sword art online abridged episode and that Saint Nicholas I'm pretty sure is an actual person in history.

Name: Avi Kichlu
Age: 16, just like everyone else on this roleplay.

How your char looks: I'll make it later.

History: Avi was born into a poor home in Pakistan. When his village was caught in the middle of a battle between rebels and military forces, he was put into a safe house but in the process, his parents died. Alone with his two sisters, they had a hard time in refugee camps and while in them his oldest sister was kidnapped and they never found her, his younger sister starved to death, dying in his lap when they were young. They Returned to him as a singular Chudail, a witch-like ghost formed from spirits of women that have been mistreated in life to exact twisted revenge on those who ruined their lives. They taught him of magic and unlocked his hidden potential, giving him crued Miracle magic before leaving to exact their revenge. He used the magic in his workplace to have his interns, friends and later in life those working under him to maximize their efficiency but later found weird things happening to him. After an encounter with 4th-dimensional beings that nearly caused him to go insane, he decided to learn to hone his powers and enrolled into the school. Once there they told him he would be in Class C and become a therapist.

What your dream is: Avi's dream is to learn to control his powers, and then either contain them or use them in order to finally have a normal life. In that life, he hopes to reach a high level of education, gain a good paying and satisfying job, have some children, retire early and spend his days with his wife and children happily until the death gets his goat. He always mentions wanting to eat well the whole way through too, but for most that are just a joke in between.

What kind of magic your char has: Avi has two magics. One he enjoys, one he hates, and yet they share interconnectedness and so he must live with them. The one he loves is known as his Miracle magic. This is a small scale magic that helps people all around. It allows him to harness all his magic for the day on one person and for the rest of the day it heals all their wounds smaller than a big cut, makes them feel confident and good, and gives them general good luck. When allowed to meditate on the enchantment for the second day it also kills all disease, parasites and a select few bacteria in the enchanted's body over time. The longer he charges it in days, the more intense the good effects are.

The backlash, however, comes in the form of Wild magic. Wild magic is the by-product of things such a wish magic, miricle magic, destiny changing magic and most powerful spells. Wild magic is formed from large drains of magic and distorts reality around it for a short amount of time. In doing so a series of extremely random things can happen as a by-product. Anywhere from mushrooms that have tiny frog spores growing from your head to the death of a complete stranger (Requires absurd amounts of magic used). For his considerably weak magic that creates wild magic, the most it can do is cause a small appearance of 4th-dimensional beings into our vision but not reality, teleport things in space to another random part of space, or cause you to glow, though in between are various strange effects. With considerable amounts of training, these effects can be limited, but it is extremely hard to do.

@Lunarlors34 Okay, so like I said I am Christian which means you know well....I was forced to watch veggietales in my youth. So obviously ol' veggietales ain't gonna be spouting out fact about prostitutes and their patron saints BUT there was one about St. Nicholas. he helped out a poor man with his three daughters dowries so they would not have to be prostitutes. He sneakily gifted money in the night in three purses filled with gold through a window in the mans house. There are a lot of stories around this event, since you know history gets garbled up the farther along it goes from the event, but I digress. He was just a dude wanting to lend a hand and had the ability to do so. His selfless gift giving and the fact he did it undercover of darkness is why they kind of rolled with the Saint Nick idea for good ol' santa. Anyway I'm done with this random religious talk in this RP's OC, sorry for this. You ask and I end up spouting out annoying information. I am extremely interested in religions, not just my own.

Both, probably. I hoard all the candy in hell for myself, which is a great torture technique on the lesser demons, as they will never know the sweet taste of a strawberry lollipop or the soft melty texture of a chocolate bar again.

Veggitales. It is an animated series usually shown in Sunday schools or church preschools, featuring a cast of animated vegetables that teach kids the lessons of the bible and different bible stories. Also has a lot of musical numbers, most notably Larry's Silly Songs.

Yea I lucked out on the church thing, my mom wasn't big on going when I was a kid and my dad was stationed elsewhere. Though since my dad was Catholic, and his entire family, there were a few unfortunate incidents where I was forced into a dress and dragged to mass. Mom put an end to it when I rolled around in the pews one day. I have been to church since, but I'm not a regular.

Eh my parent's aren't religious really at all, but my grandmother was and as were her parents. My grandmother simply didn't force my mother or father to be religious nor would my mum remotely appreciate being forced like that. But she did agree to baptise to somewhat please my great grandfather and grandmothers request for it to happen.
My two older sisters were also baptised, but my two younger brothers aren't because my great-grandfather passed away before my second birthday if memory serves. I just remember having chickenpox so I couldn't see him (or so I was told) and I gave it to my father so he couldn't see his grandfather before he passed away XD
I told him it was the only thing I will ever share with him so he should be grateful ;)

Same here. Despise them with an absolute passion. Same with atheists who go out of their way to attack religious people minding their own business.
You want to be religious? Cool, whatever. That's your business not mine, don't bug me about your religion and I won't bug you about how I loathe religion for that exact reason. (Also cold hard facts, and I don't particularly wish to blame my choices on an omnipotent being amongst others :D)
Come and annoy me about your religion though? I will tear you to shreds. Without mercy. I will pick it apart and point out every contradiction the super faithful people don't wish to acknowledge. You came looking for a fight in my opinion if you try to force it on others, hence why I loathe those kinds of religious folk. Especially since they cannot seem to be reasoned with in the slightest to stop sometimes. They can kindly go onto Noah's arc so I can sink it and watch them drown in a sea of burning magma :P
Both sides of the argument who try to force their views on others as well, not just the religious ones.

Not too sure about baptising (I thought u need to be 21 to baptise? O_O ) , but when I was young my parents/grandparents would say something like 'if you lie, King Enma would pull out your tongue in hell', I doubt that's forcing of religion, its more of like I talk too much bullshyt when I was young XP ~~

Ahh, I remembered playing with fire in a church when I was young, and having lots of fun with burning stuffs while running away from the adults, good memories :X ~ Still, if you ask me, I personally have a bit of bad experiences with Christians >:3 , but for now I'm pretty neutral with that religion :P ~~
