There are still a few poeple @blumenk@Yuuta@bloonewb@hozan@ArenaSnow who haven't stated their continued interest or lack there of that I would like to hear from.

However in the mean time the members we do have seem to form a new enough crew on their own. You might want to spend a bit of time in the OOC deciding how they met, how they generally interact with each other, how much they know about each other, and what not before we start sailing.

Only just saw this today. I do have a concept for a character, just need to work on it a bit more before I post it.

Hunter would probably either have met the crew in a tavern or in a shipwreck after a storm. He's not really picky about joining a crew as long as they have a working ship and need his services. If they don't try to turn him in after a week, he tends to open up a bit more.

@LostDestiny I guess you are right about that, we do have to decide who will be the owner of the boat, my character has in its backstory that he met the crews once they found him in a dessert island so it couldn't be him.

@blumenk @LostDestiny Oh if you guys want a ship, my backstory includes that my character built a sloop. I didn't actually specify what happened to it, how or whether he crewed it, or really any details about the sloop at all, so that might be an option, if GM approves.

Seems mostly alright. I'll ask you to elaborate a little on appearance though. Is he tall, short, bulging with muscles or a bit of a nerd, just so we have an idea of his general figure. For your power I'm curious, how do you plan on randomizing, just doing whatever comes to mind or have a table or some such?

Maybe doing a ratio type thing would work? For example 5/10 Hozen's character will get crap, 4/10 it'll be a so-so item and the last 1/10 he'll get something that he needs?

I'd say it'd probably be down to dice rolls. Roll a D20 and have 1-5 be shit, 6-15 be good but not perfect for the situation, and 16-20 be something really helpful.

That sounds like a fairly balanced ratio to me.

How about if I have a really good idea for an item for a particular situation, I could send you it in OOC, but otherwise, you roll a d10 as @jynmi88 suggests, 1-5 being useless, 6-9 being workable, and 10 being really useful, then come up with an item yourself? Or if you don't care maybe you could just click random page on Wikipedia lots of times until something not entirely nonsensical comes up. It seems like regardless, I shouldn't really be just deciding what comes out myself, and there's no real way of ensuring I'm not cheating unless you make any such rolls yourself.
We could also have a table of categories to roll against.

EDIT: OK, I updated the appearance above.

@hozan@blumenk I could just as easily say that Anna stole one from the marines.

It is up to everyone though. I don't really care.

If you can fit a boat on it, and it floats, then it's a ship. Tis only a means to a destination after all. Some form of weaponry on board would be preferable though, as it's hard to pillage an enemy vessel without crippling it first.

@Ryteb Pymeroce Anna was adopted by a marine, it wouldn't be too hard for her to get her hands on one. Difficult still, but easier then most.

Also, in terms of how Anna met the crew, there can be a variety of ways. One they meet her in a tavern somewhere. Two, the captain could have hired her because they needed a gun and she simply decided to hang around. There are other ways, but those are the most probable of the ways.

Appearance is alright now, can go in CS tab. I'll roll a die for you using the site's roller so you can check if you wish and give you an appropriate item, perhaps forgoing the dice roller if I feel something is thematically appropriate. If you also feel the need for a specific result feel free to PM me and we'll see if it's alright.

I could definitely see Abigail hiring Anna due to a need for a gun. Perhaps she was one of the first people Abigail met after arriving in town?

Yea that sounds good. Maybe she heard about Dead Eye and about the tavern she sharp shooter commonly hung around in to get jobs, and that was what drew her into the town in the first place.

Huh... so she and Hunter may have run into each other in the taverns on occasion.

It is highly probably. Taverns are good spots to get jobs so she frequents a variety of them. I don't see why the two wouldn't have crossed paths on more than one occasion. Though it is highly unlikely that he would have seen her without her mask on until after they both joined that same crew so he may not have recognized her at first.

Then again, she wears an excessive amount of red so it may have been easy to recognize her. :P
