[WIP]
Name: Abarden Aumont
Age: 32 years old.
Abilities:
- Adept using bows- Through spending many a night hunting large game animals, Abarden has had more than his fair share of experience using a bow. He acquires a strong sense of accuracy; consequently, it is uncommon for him to miss a shot, tending to choose his timing and location to boost advantage
- Sensitive hearing in woodland areas- Excellent hearing capabilities is another trait Abarden has gained through long nights of hunting. Whether it be the snapping of a twig on the forest floor, or a firm rustling motion made from woodland flora, Abarden collectively records these sounds and sightings traced in his subconscious.
- Fletching- Abarden's Father taught him how to fletch arrows from an early age, drafting from flintknapped stones or animal bones. However, Abarden resorted to this only in times of desperate need, mainly purchasing from local blacksmiths. Steel tipped arrowheads are much easier to work with and causes much more damage in an aggressive face-off.
- Novice swordsman- Being trained at only a militia level of Swordsmanship, Abarden has a great deal of difficulty taking on multiple enemies at close range. He prefers to stay at a range which best suits him, which of course is the idea distance for an archer. Although, do not let Abarden fool you, his reflexes are attune to firing a few shots at a closer range (not too close obviously).
Song: Because why not?
Back Story: Abarden grew up in a modest fishing village. Due to the village's size, there was no surprise that the folks there were more than acquainted with one another. Their relationships differed as you'd expect from any community, some thought of as family, close friends or disliked through petty disputes. Although there was a diverse scale of relationships amongst the village, they always managed to stick together through thick and thin. The prosperity of the community was kept afloat from passing merchants, stocking up on cheap goods to sell at higher prices elsewhere. Every now and then fishing vessels docked to hire able townsmen, promising to give a great deal of coin for their hard labour. The ships would leave for any period of time from a fortnight to a few months, leaving family and friends at home concerned for their well-being.
Abarden, his Father, and his brother Eli lived off the surrounding land, hunting in the dense forests or fishing at various lakes positioned around the terrain.
Other: Due to Abarden being a rather novice swordsman, he has a hard time taking on advanced close-quarter foes. He chooses to reside a fair distance away from any melee combat (if he can help it).
