Notification PMs should have now been sent out to everybody who has won a TTL challenge before.

If anybody thinks I got a Life total wrong, let me know.

And yes, @PlatinumSkink, you /DO/ have Eleven Lives. Your entry for the First Labour - which won on appeal - then subsequently won three of the Bonus Challenges associated with the First Labour. Due to Legacy Parity, each one is worth the same as an Accolade.

@Terminal But you can only win one challenge accolade per entry, so there should be a maximum of two lives earned per entry submitted. O.o So if three different stories won bonus awards, that'd make sense, but winning four lives with one story was not even possible for most of the later labors.

Wise Dragon Girl and Holmeshire both, though, very impressive. O.o You two playing?

A character from the old Warhammer Fantasy setting, owned Games Workshop. A knight on a quest for glory, honor and (with time) the Lady and her grail.

@Terminal I must admit, I did not think those bonus categories counted as challenge accolades. Those were... terribly easy lives to collect, I can see why you discontinued them. My appealed winner gained me four lives... wah. I kind of feel guilty about that.

BUT VERY WELL! With eleven lives, assuming twelve iterations, I ONLY NEED TO LIVE TWICE! Ultra-risky playing, here I go! XD

Edit: ... Hum. Okay, if I'm going to exist in the same universe where the degree of danger is marked by the existence of First-Degree Donny, then I need to put serious thought into what level I want to put my (first) character at. ... Haha.

Edit 2: ... So, if I'm reading this right, the conceptually created universe we end up in will adapt to all created characters so it's all true... Meaning Fortune De Vigny just caused all the terrors of the Warhammer World to also exist, in some manner of way, AT THE SAME TIME as Donny's modern I have no idea what exists? ... ... ... WELL!

I have absolutely no idea what "Allineation" is.
"1. the state of being organized in a line or lines
2. the delineation of a line in order that it goes through a specific spot
3. the orientation of two or more objects in a straight line with another object or reference point"

... Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

You are not the only one who is displeased with how that particular turn of affairs played out. All the more so since only the one person won more than one of the Bonus Challenges. I still stand by what was determined however.

@Doc Doctor
@Bright_Ops

Both of your characters have been noted and approved.

Almost certainly!

I may end up giving lives away later, but only to those who have proven themselves both dedicated and in need. Everyone's got at least one life to live off for now, so I see no reason to be hasty with such things.

@Terminal

I will attempt to ensure that my two lives will last for as long as possible.

I don't recall submitting my entry into the Twelve Labours anomalously but too late for that now.

@Terminal Eh. Doesn't hurt me any, so I don't particularly mind. Just pointing out the inconsistency. *shrug* I'm the sort of person that will argue against a call made in my favor if I don't agree with it. My classmates in gym class back in the day /loved/ me. *sarcasm*

@Doc Doctor@Bright_Ops Hey guys! Speaking from the standpoint of one who is thinking like a team player here, I'm gonna suggest that any and all bios include something at the end whereby the character is ripped from their original world and thrust quite abruptly into that of the contest. This allows for the greatest possible consistency as a starting point. As we move forward, we might perhaps select characters that match so as to manipulate the setting in a direction we like.

You two game?

This goes for all players, by the way. One person winning /shouldn't/ prevent others from doing so as well, and there's always time to betray characters later, if we decide we must. <3

Yeah I did reasonably well in first season of labours :) I'm attempting a 12/12 for the second season, but we'll see if I can manage that or trip and fall at the first labour.

I still have to figure out a character, most of my characters are either average sword wielders or have no weapons at all XD I'm going to need those lives...

@WiseDragonGirl Well, let me point out that just because the char is strong/a good fighter doesn't mean they'll do well. I would imagine that the challenge should be passable for most characters, so long as they don't compromise it by their very natures. The question is...can we the players do so?

I picked a fortuitous time to randomly log back into RPG! As evidenced by my lengthy disappearance, life has gotten crazy.... But the good news (?) is that a royally busted shoulder is going to knock me out of work for a few weeks/months, so that should lend me some time to participate. Or at the least, to avoid -- by my absence -- ruining everything for the survivors.

I'll follow whatever cooperative guidelines you other players lay out. @Terminal is excellent at keeping secrets and I'm privy to nothing (proof: all those times I wildly missed the point of a labor!), so this is all a bit, uh...... terrifying.... but we'll figure something out. Dunno what my posting-pace will look like...... or..... hmm. Well like I said -- following your lead, unless I come up with something brilliant.

edit:

You may submit space pirates...

HUZZAH

SECOND EDIT:

So folks, uh..... a couple people in this merry band *cough* *cough* have a few lives to spare. I don't think I'd be doing my part if I didn't assume some extra risk.... Would anyone be greatly offended if I were to tactically create a character which might (maybe? IDUNNO!!) alter the confluence of realities in a somewhat-favorable manner? Seeing as I've got lives to burn. The risk is I inadvertently make it MORE dangerous for you, instead of LESS. I leave the decision to the merry band.

So I had been hoping more characters would pop up sooner, so that I could get a better feel for the group before making my own. (I like to fill.) But I reckon everyone's waiting on everyone, so might as well get to work.

We've got a modern military mankiller and an olden-times knight, so I was wondering: do we want to use those two as limits this round, or are we gonna go out of bounds and include sci-fi and magic too? The latter may be implied by Warhammer anyways, but I think the character matters more than the source material.

I feel like it'd be a good idea to tread carefully for the first round at the least—we're a bit jumbled about. Maybe when we're more coordinated we can take more risks.

(also because two characters have already been posted, I feel it only fair to them to try and match their power levels, ish)

At the end of the day, though, I ain't holding you back.

I was thinking of making the most average Joe in the history of ever and see what Terminal does to him. Just for the sake of it.

Terminal said the first round would be (a little) lenient, so if we want to go crazy, now might be the time. XD ... Buuuuuuuuut, that said...

@mdk The thing is, if you do something crazy which might get everyone else killed, then you have more lives than them. Sooooo... heh...

But, that said, you said FAVORABLE manner. I am totally clueless how you mean. Make a world filled with fairies of healing and specify that the fairies are EVERYWHERE so that nobody can actually die? ... Putting aside that Terminal definitely would find a way to kill us anyway, but, hah. If it's favorable, sure. Maybe. Hahahaha. Myself, I don't mind anything.

I was actually thinking cancer patient, lol (oh god did I just say CANCER LOL I am going to hell). But in hindsight..... know what, I'm just gonna run with the pack for the first round

I'm with Homlshire, maybe for the first round we should be a bit careful. If you create a character that will make the first round more hazardous you're not risking just your own lives or the those of the players who have lives to spare, but also the lives of those who have just a few. Don't forget that the 2 who have already posted their characters only have 2 lives and none of the people who have multiple lives have joined at this point.

Well, until now.
I will apologise in advance if any grammar or spelling mistakes will make everything harder for the other players ^_^'
Anyway, be impressed! Or not. Probably not XD
