@Aether Spawn thank you. I think I might change to a magic class.

Tentatively interested.

But this will be my first tabletop, so if you don't mind showing a newbie the ropes I's be grateful.

Probably a bad question, but what about single time/ semi unique classes like Bride, Vanguard, Balista or Dread Fighter? Are they available?

Edit: Also, I see that there is a personal skill column in the character skele, what are the limits/preferences/what have you on those?

@Crimson Raven Hey, we've all been new at some point. This is my first try at actually GMing a tabletop (tried small campaigns with my siblings before, but not sure those count), so we're both experiencing a first here lol

Not a bad question. For the moment, none of those classes are available. Vanguard, when included, will not be as it was in Awakening. It began as a Tier 3 promotion for Hero back in Radiant Dawn, so it will instead be one of the "Hidden Promotions", being accessible from the Mercenary when a special item is used. This will be the same for the Dark Magic-wielding fliers (well, promoting from different classes, but the mechanic is the same). As for the others, no plans have been made yet, though they are possibilities in future updates. I do have Butler/Maid in the works, though they are not visible on the Spreadsheet at present, and the same goes for Manakete and other Laguz-related classes.

A list of available Personal Skills are included in the System. Only two of these are restricted on what kind of unit can use them (one for foot units and one for mounted/flying). Aside from that, there may be certain Skills I deem too powerful for the early game. Aggressor is one such example. Others will be brought up when the issue arises.

For Class Skills, be sure to check the System sheet for all of those. The character will learn those which are appropriate at creation. Otherwise, no Mastery Skills right now, and for Unique Skills, PM me if you would like to create one. The only "Unique Skills" which are allowed to be duplicated across multiple characters are those I create for the Outrealm Demons.

Lastly, welcome to Fire Emblem: Dimensions! We hope you enjoy your stay. :)

@Rethel34

None of them huh...hmm...

See, I'll admit to being partial to sword and magic wielding, and I didn't want to go stereotypical tactician right off that bat, so my choice would have been Dread Fighter, but the point is moot now.

Follow up question, would you mind if I did make a Tactician? I know that it is a powerful, important, and popular class, and for those reasons, it is always requested by the random scrubs. So much so that there is a kind of stigma attached to asking. But, would you trust me enough for it? If not I can always make a mage.

@manapool1 Like I said, I'm not going to force you. If you want to, that's your choice, but I like having the Wyvern. You're a powerhouse that the team is going to need. We've got plenty of the frail and support-style units (Thief [knife-y lock breaker], Kite Warrior [bow-wielding flier], and a Beast Rider [that's not much of a beast when you look at her, though her Skill is good for weakening enemies for others to kill]), but not much in the way of frontliners.

@Crimson Raven PM me what you might suggest for stats. I think I have an idea, but I want to see what you have in mind exactly. Even if all you give me is a "Ranking" (E to A) for what stats you would want high and which you would want low. If it's like the Awakening Tactician, then it would be a sort of jack-of-all-trades with everything being average, but if you have something else, I'd like to see. Also, we could change it up from just Swords and Anima if need be. As long as you can write a good backstory for the unit, I might be willing to allow it. (Also, in case this doesn't work out, remember that Basara and Exorcist are Promoted Units that wield both Physical and Magical weapons, so perhaps going for one of their pre-promotions could work if this falls out.)

Also, @manapool1 I know things seem dead on the thread typically, but the Discord is usually more active if you ever want to chat.

@Rethel34 also, I could be a other tanky, strong class like a knight or something.

@manapool1 What stumps you about it? It's just a live chatroom. We aren't using video or anything of the sort. Just the text chat. On the topic of the class of your character, like I said, your choice. It looks like Aether may be covering the Knight, so that is one thing we do have, but I won't stop you from making another.

I mean, I'll remain a mounted character, I was the first and I feel a bit inclined to stay one, but we still need a magic man, and I could play some other meaty character like a fighter. @Rethel34

I always just get a head ache from it and I am too slow to respond in live chats usually.

@manapool1 If you wanted, you could always make another character at some point to fill whatever gaps we may have.

Well with the majority of folks in looks like we need a little ground based magic to round it out. I'm thinking a cleric would fit right in aye?

@Eklispe That could work. :) Healers are definitely welcome. You could also go for offensive magic if you wanted.

@Crimson Raven Currently, I have for the Tactician's Base Stats:
HP: 17
Str: 5
Mag: 5
Skl: 7
Spd: 6
Lck: 1
Def: 5
Res: 4
Mov: 6

Is this ok? If not, let me know what you would want to change, and we will look into it. :)

EDIT: Did a lot of work already today. Have functional Butler, Maid, Dancer, and Bard Classes, and the only thing missing on the Ballistician are the weapons it can use.

EDIT2: Now the Ballistician has some toys, and I'm working on implementing a "Chain" weapon type with a few new classes.

I'm working on a stat spread, will PM the completed character sheet when it is done.

But, that is roughly what I imagined. Balanced stats, with a a slight focus in skill and magic.
