Eli was in the process of changing into a loose black tee; a small alien logo on right upper right side of the shirt in white. Since it was a simple run down tshirt shop the only things Eli managed to score were barely put together tshirts. She stuffed two raggy grey ones in her backpack as well as some torn up ones she could use as makeshift bandages. Everything else was either caked in blood or completely unrecognizable.

It was comfortably empty in the shop; so cozy, in fact, that Eli kept mentally debating whether she should make it into her temporary base. It wouldn't do her any good to be cooped up in a shop in the middle of a zombie infected area. She sighed and decided to enjoy the calm before heading back out. But instead of being engulfed by the precious quietness, Eli started hearing some shuffling. But it was muffled enough she decided it wasn't anywhere--

KA-CHK

Eli dropped a metal rack as she was walking around searching for the origin of the shuffling.

"Shit..." she cursed under her breath. She hadn't meant to make so much noise. She stood still, ears peeled for anything. After some excruciating seconds, the only sound she kept hearing were the muffled shuffling of feet. Way too many. She walked around to the wall and placed her ear towards it, "maybe it's coming from the shop next door?"

Eli decided it was worth to check out so she carefully headed out the door and immediately saw the origin of the sound. The shop next door--it appeared to be a grocery shop--was swarming with a few zombs. She couldn't get a good visual inside so she wasn't too sure if there was a specific cause to this. She tightened the grip on her sledgehammer, mind racing with bundled thoughts. Should I investigate further?

Riley was in the fight of his life. He was stabbing into the mass of geeks (zombies, walkers, infected) who were trying to take a bite out of him, but it wasn't making a dent. He cursed, then looked down. There was an assault rifle, and, when Riley checked, had enough rounds to make a dent in the geeks. He grinned, and started to load ammo into the weapon.

David was new in this town. He had been traveling for a while, looking for food. He had found a map of the town and used it to find the grocery store. He walked to the entrance and spotted a group of 3 walking to the grocery store. David followed the group: the old man, the kid and the girl closely without letting himself be seen. He wasn't going to let them take his cut from the grocery store.

Abe walked down the street, grumbling under his breath as he went. He should've figured the car would break down. Derrick, that cheap bastard, was the only one who could get his damn junker of a car to work for longer than five minutes. He stopped at the thought of his band's lovable dumbass of a drummer. He hoped they had managed to make it out during the evacuations, as unlikely as that was.

"Get your shit together Abe!" He shook the thought out his head and his grimaced face grew even sourer. His day was definitely looking like it was going to be shot for the duration. All of a sudden he could hear that familiar sound of endless groaning that signaled the dead, and something had definitely aggravated the hell out of them. He grinned and rested his bat on his shoulder and walked towards the growing mob. "Time for a little stress relief!"

Theodore glared at each and every one of them. Their backs turned against him not realizing the danger of that act, sure I look pretty weak but you never know what I could do. Theo bit his lip pondering about the plan and throwing insults here and there. Why should I even walk in line if its an open field. I-It..What?? A sigh escaped from his glossy lips, it had been awhile since he had interacted with living people.

It's pretty tiring.

Theodore's ears flickered upon hearing some groaning. Oh boy aren't those my 'favorite' sounds. His hazel eyes glimmered as they trailed towards the sound. His footsteps soon were rapid as he reached for his knife that had been hooked by his belt, where are you pal...The other hand of his gripped tightly on his bloody shovel. That's when, in the distance he spotted the 'so called store' everyone was heading to.

"I think we found the store we were heading to.."

Eli was still a safe distance away from the ever-growing mob trying to decide on her next course of action. She looked down the road to her side to see some figures in the distance--about three--but wrote it off as stray zombs. She tightened her grip once more, and looked towards the shop and that's when she saw it. It was vague. It mightve been her mind playing tricks, but she was convinced she saw it. And once she did, all doubts completely disappeared.

"....Someone's in danger...!!" Eli harshly whispered to herself. She started making her way towards the front of the store, wondering how she'd be able to help. However, instead of barging in and smashing heads dangerously, Eli tightened the grip on her sledgehammer. She raised it up only to smash it back down repeatedly onto a nearby broken down car, a loud shattering thunk resonating throughout the otherwise quiet road.

"Come on!!! Look over here!!" Eli's voice boomed, immediately following the loud clattering of broken glass. The combination of both her voice and the smashed car seemed to have caught the attention of enough of the infected. The mob broke up having found a new target. Eli stood on the balls of her feet, readying herself for the incoming zombs, sweaty hands gripping the handle of her sledgehammer. She quickly glanced to her she's ides, still noticing the three figures off in the distance. But when she looked opposite of that, to her right, Eli noticed someone coming over. By the stride and the apparent weapon they seemed to be armed--A club..? Baseball bat, maybe?--Eli deduced it was not one of the crazy dead. She turned her attention back to the incoming zombs, having little to no time to spare and began to work her way through.

They were slow; she tripped the one closest to reaching her, swinging immediately after to smash the other right behind it and swiftly brought her hammer down onto the tripped zomb, making goo out of its brain. "That's 2 out of..." She caught her breath, stopping mid sentence."Too many."

WORLD EVENT

Lightning flashed across the cloudy sky and thunder boomed as a heavy rain started to fall upon the survivors outside.

@Kautalya@Jackson monty
Lili went to make a comment on the zombie swarmed store when she felt a few raindrops hit her head. "I think we'll have bigger worries than just them here soon." She stated, glancing up at the dark sky. She switched her bat to her left hand and span it in a circle. "Well we can just get this over with and then get out of this rain."
