Alright, so...it's been a year since I've actually posted a thread here. Though I have been actively roleplaying with a couple people, those roleplays have either died or finished. So now I'm looking for a couple more.
Instead of bumping a year old thread, I figured it would be best to just make another one. As I am now 25, I would like for any partner wanting to do a roleplay with mature themes to be over the age of 18.
That being said, I suppose I'll need to say a little about myself:
-I am male, but I am comfortable playing either gender. However, my males are more convincing than my females. I do believe I can do either gender well based on the situation though.
-I like almost any genre. Some I do better than others, but that's something that can be talked about while planning a RP.
-That said, I love planning my RPs with a potential partner rather than posting stuff I want to do. I believe that if I came up with the entire idea, my partner may be left with no choice but to follow me rather than come up with their own twists and turns in the story.
-With THAT said, there are a few cravings I have, they will be posted below.
-If there is to be romance, I, being a typical heterosexual male, am fine with MxF and FxF, but not MxM. I don't see anything wrong with MxM, I simply would not be able to play it well, as I share none of those proclivities, doing a disservice to any partner I had in such a RP.
-I think of myself at a high-casual to advanced level. My posts can range anywhere from three paragraphs to eight or ten. It all depends on the situation. Sometimes we may get caught in a dialogue that doesn't allow for much in the way of content, that's completely fine.
-Dark themes and situations are completely fine with me. I find exploring those particular facets of the human mind to be quite fascinating.
-This means that I have no real boundaries(or rather, I haven't found them yet). I love to push limits, but if you get uncomfortable at any point, I'm more than willing to back off.
-I tend to sprinkle in some lightheartedness in all of my writing. It's just the way I write. I can be serious when the situation calls for it, but I feel that finding the humor in all situations really helps to make sure things don't get too heavy when they don't need to be.
-I tend to stay away from character sheets, as I like to establish characters within the story, but I'm willing to do them if they are preferred.
All of this being said, I can do dark, mature roleplays and I can do lighthearted, comedic roleplays. I can do a mixture of both or neither at all. I like expanding my horizons and writing something I've never written before.
I need to apologize in advance, however, about updates. Due to the nature of my job, I may or may not have time to make a post. Some days I can slam out ten posts and sometimes I have to wait a few days before I can post just once. It sucks, but that's just how life works, I suppose.
If you are fine with all the above, then send me a PM. Let me know if you have any questions you want to ask me and what your tastes are and we can work from there. Please don't just say "hey, wanna RP" or something. I can't really work with that. I need some information about you so we can work out a good starting point.
