Abigail winced at the sound of the ship hitting something hard enough to cause the unicorn figure head to fall off. Yes, that was a plus as the ship wouldn't be quiet so conspicuous, but she would've preferred for them to take it off own their own rather than seeing it drop as a result her ship taking damage. They weren't that far out on their journey and already there was a chance the whole damn thing could come crashing down.

"Hey!" The scarlet captain called as she hurried up to Hunter. "There's no way we can take on three ships at once, especially if their coming from three directions like that!" She pointed her finger out to the sea. "We're going to have to head south." She patted her navigator on the shoulder and hurried off.

"Hey Anna!" Despite the slight rockiness of the sea, Abigail had no trouble running across to her sniper. "We're going to have to make a run for it. So let's concentrate on getting our firepower to the rear ready. Hopefully, the marines will bunch up after us and we'll be able to get some good hits in!"

"Small problem with that plan cap'n." Hunter said, his hands bloody from the grip he had to maintain on the wheel, "We're in the midst of Scylla's Embrace. It's all I can do to keep her from dashing agains' the rocks. Our only option right now is to head deeper into her belly, the marines would nee be stupid enough to follow us towards Shipwreck Isle in this weather."

It was a crazy plan, Scylla's Embrace was a difficult sea to navigate on a calm day. In the midst of a storm like this it'd be tantamount to suicide. Of course probable death is always more appealing than certain death, but not by much. It'd take take everything he had to get them there, and the luck of the devil for the ship to not be a complete wreck when they got there.

"Pull in all but the main sail!" the navigator called over the sounds of the waves and cannon fire, "These winds will as soon get us killed as allow us to escape the bastards. Seems the government has even bought the favour of the gods..."

A Hennar was aboard the stolen ship, this Raphael knew. After fighting the family for so long, he had attained a sort of spiritual sense for the family of criminals. But this would be the end of the feud, as this time he'd make sure to finish her off once and for all, if the seas didn't swallow them whole. Pulling out a dendenmushi, he contacted the other ships, telling them to form a blockade around the rock formation known as the Mouth of Charybdis, the only safe exit from Scylla Isle. With his raspy voice, like someone speaking through cloth, he called out to his crew.

"Continue your bombardment of the Darling Unicorn," he himself winced as said the name, "They will have to turn around, lest they become the latest addition to Shipwreck Isle."

“Where am I…” Elliot muttered as he opened his eyes, had he fallen asleep on the deck of the Ignis? Looking at his surroundings he found himself on a deserted beach, no at single soul apart from him. Elliot for a moment thought he was having one strange dream but pinching himself proved his initial idea was wrong. Walking around the beach Elliot wondered how did he found himself in the island, his memories about yesterday were fuzzy and he couldn't remember what had happened. His wondering wouldn't last long as he found a washed up chest, on that moment the mess that were his memories of yesterday ordered themselves. Elliot remembered the party when the crew stole two devil fruits from the marines, the panic when the marine caught them amidst the terrible weather by surprise and the fighting amongst the marine and the crew themselves, and lastly him jumping to the ocean with a chest as a pseudo life saver.

Elliot's legs started to tremble after realizing that the crew he had spent a long time with was gone. But now was not the time to cry and do nothing, first he had to find some food to not starve and second to find a way to open the chest, to see if there was anything of value inside. Exploring around the island in the search for any kind of fruit, Elliot found instead wrecked ships of every kind; some almost intact others left as just a pile of scraps, but no one in there or at least not ones that he saw as he felt he was being observed on some parts of the island. In the end Elliot returned with just a steel pipe he found on a shipwreck. His search for food had led to nothing as he didn't want to go into the deep part of the island since he had a big chance of getting lost. Using the steel pipe he destroyed the upper part of the chest and looked at its contents: On the chest there were two devil fruits, one white as sheet and with an oval shape, the other looking more round with its lower half being white while the upper half was red. Normally Elliot would be happy if he had found a treasure so valued like a devil fruit, but how would he sell it or benefit from it if he was stuck in an island. Thinking about how he could escape the island, Elliot fell asleep on the shore, with his head resting against a rock.

Nina nodded at the instructions helping load and aim the cannons. The crew was using basic cannonballs in the hops there quarry would turn back. Nina held her special Comet Balls in reserve for a burned flags notice. The crew hopefully weren't complete fools. The rain fell hard pulling gently at her uniform as Nina curiously looked at the unicorn.

A large amount of cannonballs were headed it's way but it needed only one good hit to be crushed in Scylla's Embrace. Nina gently told her men to back of aiming the cannon herself. There was a chance if the wind carried the ball correctly she could hit there main sail. If hit right on the wood it was possible to cripple the ship. Nina smiled "Prepare five shots and I'll make them count hopefully we can end there murderous rampage here and now" Nina fired the five rapid fire aiming for the sails and upper deck lining up. The storm and rocky waves disrupted her vision and line of sight. Nina could only hope that one had hit.

Nina called up to Captain Frankenstein "Captain they may return fire it might be a good idea for you to take shelter in your quarters in case things get rocky"

"Small problem?" Abigail's eye brow arched. It was the one over her left eye. "If we've only got a small problem I'll be ecstatic." She paused to listen to her navigator and shook her head when he finished. "The government hasn't bought anything. We're just unlucky. Best not to make things seem bleaker than they are by saying stuff like that." She put her hand on a railing to drum her fingers. "Pfff." She huffed. "Not chase us? Never underestimate the stupidity of men and women loyal to a group." She pointed back towards the oncoming ships. The bright white and yellow burst of their cannon fire bloomed in the darkening distance like roses rapidly sprouting from blackened earth. Long spurts of water shot up from sea around them as the cannon fire grew closer and closer to putting a hole were one wasn't needed, which was everywhere on the ship. "Then again, it would be wise not to be careful with stupidity in general." The captain glanced around at her crew and frowned. Under her breath she mumbled. "I mean, Look at us. We're stupid enough to head deeper in this weather."

"Cannon fire?" The redheaded woman blinked before putting her hands around her mouth to help the sound carry over the increasing wind. "Hey Anna! How are the cannons coming along? Those ships over there are looking a lot less like swiss chesse than I'd normally prefer. How about we do something about that?"

Anna had been working on positioning a cannon on the aft of the ship for several minutes now. She couldn't managed to get it tied down as the ship swayed from side to side, causing the cannon to do the same. "Damn it, I can't get this damn thing to stay. If they were closer I would just blow their brains out with some well placed bullets but alas they are to far." She sighed. "I will just have to work with what I have."

After focusing for a short period of time she managed to get a general pattern in the ships movements, and calculated the perfect time to light the fuse. She did so and eventually the sound of returned cannon fire sounded over the deck of the Dawn Breaker. Unfortunately she had missed. "Ugh, guns are so much easier than cannons!" She yelled in a frustrating manner. She had never had to man the cannons before after all, previously it had just been her on the ship. She couldn't do anything but navigate the ship across the ocean to avoid attack. "Give me a couple more shots and I will be dead on every time." She tried once again to get the cannon tied down and managed to get it well enough that she could aim the thing without needing to worry about which way the ship was going to lurch next. "Alright, now we are in the game, keep her as steady as possible." She yelled to Hunter as she loaded the cannon and prepared to fire another shot.

Meanwhile, on the center Marine ship, Alphie stood beside the captain as he shouted out orders, observing the crew. His face as emotionless as ever. He glanced at Nina when she suggested the captain take shelter. He said nothing, keeping his thoughts to himself. 'This girl is crazy if she thinks the captain will do that.' He glanced over at Raphael, to make sure his assumption was correct. Alphie had great respect for the man he stood beside he doubted the captain would hide in his quarters and hand the reins over the himself. He did however think pursuit was a dangerous and slightly stupid idea.

"With all due respect sir, I think pursing farther is a reckless choice, if the ship doesn't sink in the waters of Scylla Isle it will no doubt be badly damaged, if not beached on the isle itself. We should take a safer route around and dispatch a group to search the isle when the waters are calmer." Alpha voiced his opinion, though wasn't entirely sure how Raphael would respond to it, after all, he hadn't served under the captain long and nothing like this had come up since.

Jack was grinning from ear to ear. They were heading for an island that was notorious for sinking ships, whilst being chased by three ships filled to the brim with pissed off Marines. "Captain you are batshit insane in doing this course of action. I love it! This is what its meant to be as a pirate!"

He walked to the back of the ship, turned his back to the Marine ships, and mooned them while laughing madly. "Up yours you sods!" He shouted at them. It could be that he may have lost his mind a tad.

Abigail couldn't help but smirk at Anna's words. Finally, something she could deal with. "Hmmm. I might actually be able to help with that." Without waiting for her gunner to respond, the captain put one foot behind both wheels of the nearest cannon. "I might not be able to do anything about all this rocking about, but..." Yellow light spread out from beneath her feet in glowing yellow circles. She touched the wheels causing a glowing blue spot to appear. Then, she pulled the cannon back till the blue area on the wheel was touching the yellow spot she left on the floor. Both lights turned green as she stepped back. The cannon stayed stuck to place as if held tight by the world's greatest glue. "I'll do that for three more since that's my current limit."

The redheaded captain frowned at Jack's words. "I'm not insane." She sighed. "I've just got the kind of luck that most would consider crazy." She blinked.

"You are correct Commander," Raphael replied, gesturing for the helmsman to change course, "These scumbags won't be leaving Shipwreck Isle, and there's no point risking the lives of our crew on such a fruitless endeavour. All non-essential crew, return to your bunks to rest up. We will probably still have a powerful battle on our hands, knowing the tenacity of these pirates."

After finishing, the marine captain returned to his cabin like a shadow. He was mentally preparing himself for the losses that he would suffer in the next confrontation.

Cannon fire woke Eddie up. Lamenting his lack of a scope to look through, he wandered out of the cave he had been living in. The sounds were fairly distant, but he thought he could see flashes of cannon fire in the distance.

Walking to the beach, he walked over to one of the ships. Or, to be exact, his ship. He laid a hand on its side, and sighed. Three years, he had spent on her. Now broken, her keel snapped, beyond repair.

He ducked through a hole in her side, balancing on the slight slope, as she had beached at high speed, ending up almost sideways. He had already moved most of the useful items into the cave over the past few days, but after his earlier wish for a telescope, he remembered that he had brought a magnifying glass, which he now found under the bed in his cabin. Putting it in his pocket reassured him. It reminded him of the University.

He was running out of supplies, so he walked along the beach, hoping he would find something. A few minutes later, he did. A new wreck, and footprints. Tracking these, he found a man sleeping next to a sea chest.

Eddie walked up and shook the man's shoulder, "Ho there, sailor. Am I ever glad to see you."

Draco Winmore

Draco watched as another ship blasted the pirate ship, causing it to to go into the Shipwreck Isle. Draco had arrived on the scene later, his ship just coming to view. He called to his crew to prepare for support, within seconds the deck was filled with Marines rushing, prepping cannons and hauling sails. Draco watched carefully. The attacking marine ship ceased fire, clearly waiting for a reaction shot and probably waiting for a new plan.

Draco's ship grew ever closer, the sounds of shouting could now be heard throughout the seas, the smell of gun powder pierced his nose. He began to walk among his deck, grabbing his second in Command, "Wait for my Command, this isn't our mission." His voice was rough and direct.

Draco sailed over to the boat in a small tug boat, drawing ever close to the ship, he was spotted by the marines and hauled in. Draco stepped onto the deck, his black suit with off feint stripes and the marine coat swayed in the wind. "I wish to speak with the Captain!"

First Setback

The pirate had their mast cracked and damaged by the cannon fire thanks to Nina's aim, barely still upright and their figurehead broken on the savage rocks, still, they'd made it far enough into the jagged rocks that their pursuers had held off, making their only obstacle the isle. Even with an experienced hand at the wheel the rocks were too numerous to avoid fully and the constant grating sound of wood being crushing and scraped could be heard as they careened deeper into the treacherous waters. Eventually they managed to off-land half crash on a somewhat sandy shore, the wood of the ship smashing roughly into the sand, the ship seeming to groan as they came to a rest: not far from two other individuals on the makeshift beach.

They would find themselves amid a graveyard of ships, wrecked wood, broken figureheads, and all sorts of junk lay either on the shores or skewered on the spiky rocks all around the makeshift harbor they had. The marine ships would find themselves outside the dangerous rocks, some likely confident in their prey's demise. It would have been nice to retrieve the ship but no one had really expected that to be an option. One of the ships began turning around, headed back to its original station now that it believed the mission complete. Draco and Raphael's ships were free to done as they pleased, they had no immediate orders after this other than an overarching 'hunt down pirates'.

"Huh?" Said Elliot, half sleep as he rubbed his eyes. What a strange dream he was having, the hunger must have really messed up with his mind. Still seeing the man infront of him Elliot tried to put his hands to him, as if trying to pierce an illusion. Upon seeing that he was not infront of an illusion as his hands did not go over him, Elliot felt like his drowsiness had gone away and exclaimed "IM FINALLY SAVED" to the man infront of him. Not wanting to seem rude to his savior Elliot said "Sorry about that, its just that I hadnt seen a soul and had no food I thought this would be my end, thankfully you came here to save me....." Elliot trailed off, upon looking at the man he noticed that he had a similar look of a castaway as himself "Y-you have a boat right? or at least food?"

"Eeee." Abigail Hennar was no stranger to the sound of a ship's destruction, but it was something entirely different when the ship in question was her own, and it was being destroyed on its maiden voyage. She couldn't help but grimace with every jolt. Wince at all the groaning. Close her eyes and try to pretend the occasional screech was nothing more than a figment of her overactive, and highly pessimistic imagination.

Eventually, all the rocking and sounds reminiscent of an animal being killed slowly, came to an end. "Okay." Abigail said as she looked around at her crew. "How's everyone?" She had to repeat the question because of some wind that didn't understand there were more important things to do in a crises other than moaning loudly. "If you're dead, speak up so we can toss you overboard. I don't want to have to deal with a corpse stink settling into the wood among everything else the poor ship has to deal with!"

"Ah. Well. A ship? No. 'Fraid not. Food? Ran out yesterday. My name's Eddie Borden, by the by. You can call me Eddie." He said.

"How are your supplies?" He opened up Elliot's chest as he said this. Seeing two large pieces of fruit, his stomach rumbled. "Ah, breakfast!" He said, grabbing the oddly coloured fruit, and had taken several bites compulsively, before realising what he was doing.

"Urm. Shorry, cuddn't halp meself." He swallowed. "Uh, could I have the rest?" He said, looking down at the remaining half he held in his hand.

Hunter's face was pale, hands still glued to the wheel. The wood was actually cracked from the strength of his grip. Although he had done his best, the overwhelming bad luck they received had turned what used to be a top of the line marine ship into a hunk of junk he wouldn't dare set foot on lest it crumble afore his weight.

Upon hearing his captain's jape, he released his handsword from the wheel. Blood dripped from his hands as he walked down the stairs. Although the ship was trashed, the island held the answers to . As long as he could remember, he could read the flow of the world. It was what made him an excellent navigator. And that flow was telling him that all they needed was on Shipwreck Isle.

"Well, things could be worse cap'n." Hunter said, tearing off a part of a ruined sail and using it to wrap his wounds, "Considering we ain't sinking, and the ship ain't falling ta bits. I suggest we start looking for some wood to repair the ship. A fair wind is finally blowing, and we should not let it turn sour upon us."

His hopes of salvation had rapidly plummeted, now with another guy next to him and no food, it wouldnt be long before hunger settled between the two and one tried to eat the other, or worse to try to eat a devil frui- his thoughts stopped as he saw Eddie reach for his chest, the one with the two devil fruits inside. "Wait , wait you cant eat tha...." Again he stopped himself as he saw Eddie take a bite of one of the fruits, he remained strangely calm but his skin had become paler as if his will to live had gone from him, one of the two treasures had gone now.

Returning to his toughts moments later he remembered a legend told about the devil fruits; their legendary horrible taste and it certainly looked like Eddie did enjoy the taste of the fruit. Pherhaps they were fake fruits? Elliot thought which if it were true it meant that he had someting to eat "Yes d-dont worry about what am I going to eat, in fact I was about to grab one too" Said Elliot as to Eddie as he reached for the remaining devil fruit.

The thoughts of the authenticity fruits dissapeared as he grabbed it, Elliot took a bit bite of it. At the moment he took a bite he knew it was really a real devil fruit, holding his mouth in disgust he asked Eddie "I-i didnt know how can anything be so disgusting, how could you eat a piece of that devil fruit withouth even flincing?!"

Eddie looked at his fruit. "Devil fruit? Wait, this is devil fruit?" He said, putting his palm to his face, "Oh lordie, I've just done something quite stupid, haven't I?"

His stomach grumbled again. He finished the fruit. Looking at the man's screwed up face of disgust, Eddie said, "I'm sorry, I'm just really hungry. And personally, the fruit's taste is just on the odd side to me. But oh! A devil fruit! I'm not sure whether I should be happy or in despair! Certainly, I'm leaning towards the latter right now."

"I don't really feel any different." Then he remembered, saying, "Ah! I almost forgot. Earlier I heard the sound of dogfighting some ways off the shore. Do you per-chance have a scope I could look through? I think we could arrange our rescue, or at least find some people, if we only knew what was going on."

Anna reached for her mask, which had been knocked off her face when the ship collided with the land and she was flung to the deck. "My head is a little sore but other than that I am alive." Anna groaned, not knowing that the reason her head hurt was because she had taken a rather hardy blow from a piece of debris. It hadn't lodged itself in her skull but she now had a long, bloody mark that went just above the middle of her left eyebrow to the outer corner of her eye. She had yet to notice the blood as she was still pumped full of adrenaline.

She looked around for a moment before standing, on wobbly feet. The ship was in terrible shape, they would have to fix it or risk being stranded forever on this island, or worse, being caught by Marines. "Yea, we should probably salvage what we can from our supplies and try to fix her up enough to get us off this confounded island." She replied in response, touching he area where her head hurt, now noticing the blood. "Also, I am bleeding rather profusely from my face. Yay." She managed to get herself off the ship and seated herself against another piece of wreckage and began working on ripping the sleeve off of the shirt under he jacket and using it as a temporary, though not very sanitary, bandage.
