Welcome one and all to the Hotel! This nice secluded spot is where no human will find you, where you can spend time in refuge and paradise! We have humans shipped in every month, all of a nice variety. You may use humans for any purpose be it as a food source, hunting (with one of our various hunting domes), or keep it as a pet! So spend your days in luxury, while I, the Manager, will take care of everything for you!
Now, as every place does, we have some rules that must be followed. Failure to follow these rules will result in automatic blacklist and termination of service from the hotel:
1. No human must ever leave Hotel grounds. 2. No fighting between supernatural. 3. No tampering of security equipment. 4. No theft, including owned humans.
So for supernaturals, they have a paradise hotel. For humans, they wake up in a cage with no clue of where they are or what's happening. Supernatural can request humans at any time and the Manager will have one delivered to them.
A couple of humans will be hunters but have no access to weapons and will be in the same situation as the other humans. Supernatural types can vary. I have four supernatural types I have fully written out so far that talk about their traits and how one gets turned:
Strengths: Can turn into a full wolf at will. Stronger and faster. Greater sight, smell, and hearing.
Weaknesses: Silver is poisonous. Can be killed by beheading, stab in the heart, fire, and too much silver interaction. Newly turned can go insane if they are not helped by others when they turn into a wolf.
How one is turned: A bite from a lycan in wolf form has a chance to turn the human victim, especially if the bite goes into one of their veins.
How to cure a Lycan: The one who needs to be cured can only be if they have never drank the blood of humans. If they haven't, they need to drink liquid silver and a mix of a lycan’s blood who's over a 1000-years old.
Rand's Notes: Lycanthropes, not werewolves, remember that. Lycans can morph at will, werewolves can't and don't have control over their wolf form. It's as simple as that and still some people mix it up. It really bugs me. Anyway Lycans have a relation to werewolves and that's the simple silver. Cut them deep and they'll be crying for hours. Even poking these guys with it makes them visibly poisoned. Having a silver rod or dagger at all times is a pretty safe precaution and good tester against them.
Their wolf form can be of various wolves, but so far I haven't seen any that were close to house dogs. The types and colors can vary, but their eye color and wounds stays the same. Pretty much the only two things that you can connect between the two forms. The weaknesses don't change at all when they change, but their sense to hunt is more driven when they’re in their wolf form.
Killing a lycan is a bit easier than other supernatural. Decapitation, fire, stab in the heart, and silver will do the job. If you have a silver blade, the most ideal solution is to stab them in the heart. It’s the easiest way to take them down and out for the count.
Strengths: Night vision. Enhanced athletics. Enhanced senses. Feeding of blood from humans enhances powers. A power of your choice. If you can't come up with one ask me for suggestions.
Weaknesses: Can go out in the day but get really nasty sunburns. Can be killed by beheading, stab through the heart, and fire. Their blood bubbles when cut by steel but it can't kill them. Feeding off of animals will eventually turn them insane.
How one is turned: A vampire can turn a human by injecting their own blood into them. While usually take a day before the process is complete.
How to cure vampirism: The one who needs to be cured can only be if they have never drank any blood at all. After that, they need to drink a mixture of a vampire who is over 1000-years old and dead man's blood. The process painfully takes 24 hours.
Rand's Notes: Vampires, probably the most common supernatural that this world has. There have always been constant variations on what people thought they were like, then there was the tie in with churches and crosses somehow became a vampire's weakness. I guess they depicted vampires as a spawn of Satin? No idea, I didn't go much into it studying how people were wrong. Anyhow, there's no relation to that whatsoever. Really the only similarity are the fangs and murdering humans.
On basic description of vampires, there's not much. It's just the simple two fangs that are the canine teeth that they can switch back and forth at will. Steel seems to be the only way to identify them when they're trying to hide. When they're cut by it, the blood pours out and sizzles like it's being boiled. It's pretty effective, but the problem is that you need to get close and slice them with a knife, which becomes a really awkward situation when you're wrong. Vampires are mostly nocturnal, but there's no harsh effects on them going out in the sun, all they really need is some sunscreen.
Getting into a fight with these things are quite nasty, especially if you're alone. For starters, they're stronger in both athletics and senses than the normal human, and they have pretty good nightvision to top it off. Steel is the most effective weapon against them as it is the only element that has a unique effect on them. Don't ask me why, it's some scientific reason, like their body doesn't agree with it like ours does with poisons but on a more radical rate. Beheading them is an effective method to making sure they're dead, but shooting or stabbing them in the heart does the job as well. The problem with the latter is that it sometimes doesn't kill them, so what I recommend is beheading them afterwards. Fire works but is probably the worst method for doing so. They can burn to death but that takes way too long. I remember pouring gasoline in a room with a tied down vampire then setting it aflame since I had no other weapons. I sat outside the room for about three hours when he finally stopped screaming.
Strengths: Can seduce males with persuasive powers. Rapid reactions. After a period of time with a male, they indoctrinate him to make him a fanatic servant. Having the male make the bond heightens the power over him. Powerful regeneration.
Weaknesses: All their power is in their voice. Have no real power on those who aren't attracted by their gender. Any males they brainwash can be freed by the controller dying or the male not having contact with their controller for 24 hours. Can only be killed by decapitation. Their blood bubbles when cut by bronze but it can't kill them.
Rand's Notes: Right. Succubi. I don't like them. Sure they're not as physically strong as their spin-offs like empousai and sirens, but I personally hate them the most. Their reputation is also the best out of the two, being "the devil's whores" or whatever people also name them. Really, that's a lie and they're not demons, but some people still think that. Really, I'm not sure how succubi came into existence, but it was probably like lycans and vamps where there was some genetic difference of the alpha and that alpha made more of her kind. That's all I got for ya on that.
Succubi are known for their persuasive powers they have over males. It gets really annoying having to deal with these things, especially when they already have servants ready to give their lives for her. Going solo when you're male like me against a succubus is basically suicide, because you'll be dropping your weapon and roll over like a dog for her. Headphones can somewhat block their voice out, but they can get through that sometimes as well unlike their spin-offs.
I don’t like proudly showing off the fact that I have personal experience of being a succubus’s slave but I find it necessary to put it in here. Having this experience also heightens the fact that dealing with a succubus is near impossible when alone, and they are really good at disguising themselves. Most succubi work slowly and like to draw their victims in as what happened to me. When it gets to the point that the intended victim is so taken in and influenced by them the succubus seals the deal by initiating with some kind of physical attraction, the most basic of them simply kissing and sometimes intercourse. Usually they like the victim to do this initiation since that makes their control much harder to get rid of. After that, the male is theirs to command, and that boy will do all they can do to help their master. All that’s in their mind is to help her, and their own memories will all be vanity.
Removing a victim from a succubus’s influence is incredibly hard. Not only will the victim violently rebel, but the succubus is also very bitter over losing one of her boys. There’s really only two ways to cut connection. The first is to remove contact between the two for an extended period of time. For ones that have been in her service for a while this may take up to a week so make sure there’s no escape for them. Of course, the other way to split the connection is to kill the succubus herself, but that leads to another problem.
I'd like to say their most annoying aspect is how hard it is to kill them. Bleeding out, starvation, heart stabbed, fire, drowning, suffocation- none of these things works. Sure it hurts them but none of that stuff will kill them, and their powerful regeneration just makes it go away within a couple days. The only way I've really discovered so far on the sure way is decapitation. Yep, that's it, and it gets very hard because you can't decapitate something with a gun. You have to get really close and that's how they like it. This is why I just have Sarah do it most of the time for me while I blast Metallica through my headphones outside of the building.

Rand's Notes: Siren origins are varied. The most common form are the ones I call the spin-offs of succubi, but of course there's the ancient "pure" race of them. Those ones are weird and creep me out, but they're extinct so I don't have to worry about them!
Sirens are almost a different matter when it comes to their powers. Sure, they also have persuasive-like powers but with them it's in their singing. Cut their singing before they have you within their grasp, and you're fine, half the time. They can really easily start singing again, and then it's back to square one. But cut their voice or blast on your headphones during that time, then you're good. If you don't, same result as becoming a succubi's slave, complete dominance over your mind. Fortunately, they're much easier to kill. Stabbing, bleeding out, decapitation, fire, they all work quite well, except obviously you can't drown them. Putting them in water is the probably worst idea you can have. Not only can they breath forever in it, but some have water powers and several others can turn their legs into a "mermaid tail". And no, mermaids don't exist, and if you think you've ever encountered one, run as soon as she begins singing.

For any starting humans they will begin in single cages that are suspended from the ground (this includes hunters). Some humans will intentionally 'let loose' for entertainment purposes. They will have no equipment on them and new ones will have no idea what's going on. When a supernatural requests a human, the Manager or a guard sends a human on a wiring system to the supernatural via moving the cage electrically on the lines. The humans are dropped off inside the room still inside their cage to the designated supernatural. A key is given to the supernatural to unlock the cage.
Supernatural can go anywhere they want inside the hotel except for the basement where caged humans are (although it's possible to convince the Manager) and have the time of their lives. Any supernatural can also help out the guard's pursuit on any human escapee for the joy and maybe keeping the captured human!

Yes witches do exist, I was actually planning on making a section about them relatively soon (it will hardly stray from the normal kind of witches, and their powers can be almost whatever you think of as long as they're not insanely overpowered). It'd be great for you to join but up to you in the end!
Name: James Kaleb Age: 19 Gender: Male Civilian/Hunter: Civillian Appearance: Personality: James is a fairly tough cookie. He doesn't take orders well, and hates to be bossed around, often being very combative and sarcastic. Though he's fairly smart, he fakes ignorance so he doesn't have to be bothered. James is actually quite the quiet figure, and doesn't like to interact with others. He'd prefer just to sit and read a book alone in a corner. Relationships: Bisexual. He's had girlfriends and boyfriends before, but he never really got too attached to them. He also has a mother and an older brother. History: When he was 16, James dropped out of school from his poor grades. He went to work at the local coffee shop, when someone from a modeling agency noticed him for his handsome appearance and he was signed to them. They changed his name from the original "James Klautz" to "James Kaleb" and he became the number one model for the magazine in under three years. One night while he was walking home from a photo shoot, he was knocked out, and when he woke up he was in a cage. Other: His blood is from a particularly rare variety that is attractive to vampires.
Name: Lady Victoria Morte Age: "Don't you know it's rude to ask a lady her age?" She appears around 21, but if asked her real age... well, just don't. Gender: "Oh, I assure you I'm female... Unless you would like to confirm that?" Species: Succubus Appearance: Personality: Like the stereotypical succubus, Victoria is seductive beyond all bounds. Her voice is sweet and supple, often earning her the nickname 'Lady Velvet.' She is a cold and dark woman, however, and extremely passive aggressive. She is the kind who will lure you in and convince you she loves you before tossing you to the wolves. Victoria's only pleasure in life is to play with people's emotions, causing heartbreak and agony wherever she goes. Weapons: Two guns and a switch blade on her thigh. Power: Enchantment. Her words are always dripping with this power of manipulation, often making people do things for her and making them feel as if it were by their own choice. Guest/Worker: Guest, overstaying her welcome if it was up to the Manager. How you intend to use your humans: "Hmhmhm, I won't hurt them, dear... I only want to play with them a bit." Relationships: Heterosexual. As any succubus, she has no real relationships with anyone, though many men are convinced that they have one with her. Bio: Originally, Lady Victoria was a man killer as a human— quite literally, in fact. She was part of the mafia, and was often sent in for the "dirty jobs." During one of her jobs, she was shot in the back of the head, but in her last dying breath she was offered to be reborn, as someone immortal. Victoria took the chance. She has no idea what happened from there, or who that voice was, but she woke up alive again and with quite the special bonus.

Personality: Marcel is very sly and cunning and eyes that draw in your soul. He knows he is enticing and he makes sure you get drawn in. He is very reserved about his past and will go off like a firecracker if someone brings it up. Weapons: "What more do you need than claws, love? " Power: Flesh Lick-This ability lets a lycanthrope heal other people by licking their wounds. Where their tongue passes over torn flesh, it becomes miraculously healed Guest/Worker: Guest How you intend to use your humans: For play, torture, and fun. "I like to hear them scream for help like they are a species who deserves kindness. " Relationships: Long ago, Marcellus let his guard down and fell in love with another lycan by the name of Willam Dashley. The two were together for quite some time before hunters killed Willam. Marcellus would never let himself love after that. Bio: Marcellus was born in the 1600's when he was turned into a Lycan. He never was one to hurt humans back then and almost starved himself a few times. That was until the tragic day Willam was murdered by hunters. It flipped a switch and made kind Marcellus into a sadist. Marcellus doesn't ever have much company besides his victims and he likes it that way. It's easier to keep the switch turned off. Other: Wears a small leather bracelet on his wrist at all times that belonged to Willam.

Personality: Alucard seems like a menacing guy but in reality is very charming and sweet to the others he meets. He can be very sarcastic and sassy at times. When he gets pissed off by someone, he will zoom to rip their head off but then act like nothing happened and going back to his fun self. Weapons: A small dagger he keeps on him mainly for show. Power: He can alter people's emotions. Guest/Worker: Guest How you intend to use your humans: Food. Relationships: Bio: Alucard grew up during the early renaissance period in England. Most vampires are turned against their will but when you're an eighteen year old orphan who wants more in life, you do things others wouldn't. After Alucard was turned, he spent his life feeding and climbing his way up in society. Other: He thinks it is really funny his name is Dracula backwards.
Personality: Sarcastic, Blunt, Always speaks her mind. 3 qualities someone in her situation shouldn't have. Relationships: N/A History: Addie was a normal teenage girl in a normal small town full of normal people. She got straight A's, she never skipped class, and she was a cheerleader. She lived at home with her parents and her older brother. That was until one night when her and whole family was slaughtered. If she had been home, she would've died also but she came home five minutes after it happened and one man covered in blood standing in her living room. At the moment, being killed seemed like a better option than being sold here. Other: She has a birthmark the shape of a moon on her back shoulder.
So this wasn't fun. I had to write this up on notepad on Ipad because my laptop was broke. Then I had to rewrite the entire thing because it decided to close on me just as I finished the Bio. Yeah the bio was longer but this gets the idea across well enough.

Lucius loves the finer things in his unlife such as reading and smoking. He can also become sadistic, usually when hunting his victims although he hasn't really had the time to cause any real harm over the past few centuries so he keeps himself in check. Lucius believes himself superior to humans in every way. Weapons: Lucius keeps a iron knife on his person, although it's generally used for his victims over potential attackers. Power: Lucius has control over bats, he can influence swarms with general orders or a single bat with far more complex tasks Guest/Worker: Guest How you intend to use your humans: mainly for hunting and torture, with that obviously comes feeding Relationships: N/A although if you ask any human, they would likely include his father, also called Lucius Bio: Lucius was born in England in the 1570s to a noble family where he was trained to be a economist and a money-lender,although it was not to be as he was infected by a vampire after a ball in the kings court when he was about 27 only a few years after he had began his trade. Realizing most would consider him a monster, he fled to the countryside before returning to his family estate when he was sure they had died.
After eliminating any potential competition to his claim on his families wealth, Lucius set up a money lending business called "Pennyfords Lending Company" to further his wealth. He operated the company for most of his unlife by pretending to be his own successor, usually after faking his own death. Due to the need for a new wife every 60 years or so, Lucius became tired of the general idea of love and simply stopped , this was around the 1980s however so very few people suspected his vampirism and most simply assumed the company was passed from father to son with very little legal discussion. After several centuries of running his company, Lucius grew bored and decided he wanted a holiday, this was when he found the Supernatural Hotel, Lucius decided he would make visiting the place a habit,if he was happy with it's service of course. Name: Jennifer "Jen" Carson Age: 19 Gender: Female Civilian or Hunter: Civilian Appearance:
* Jennifer has deep brown eyes and stands at 5'3" Personality: Jennifer is an ambitious young woman, she believes in biting off more than you can chew and chewing like crazy. The effort she puts into her ambitions often bring positive results, although usually not quickly. She'll work at anything until she's satisfied it's done well. What she lacks in natural talent she makes up for in effort and enthusiasm.
Jennifer is very curious. She often takes in everything around her and feels the need to discover the meaning and reasons of everything around her. With this comes the fear of not knowing. Mysteries she doesn't get or know enough of scare her in some situations. She's rather independent and likes to put on a brave face but inside she more easily scared than how she like like to come off. Relationships Jennifer is heterosexual. She had a 3 year relationship with her high school sweetheart but he broke it off only months ago. She is (or was at least) not looking for a relationship as she wished to focus on her studies. She has both her parents, a 14 year old brother and a 11 year old brother but she does not live at home History: Born the eldest of 3 kids in a small town in Pennsylvania. From a young age Jennifer displayed a vast curiosity and hunger for answered. She was one of those kids who asked questions all the time. Through this, however, she showed a big heart especially toward her younger siblings.
Throughout school Jennifer was not one of the naturally academic kids. She did, however, try hard and studied harder resulting in her finishing school near the top of her grade. Fresh out of school she applied for an Arts university in Philadelphia but, somehow, resulted unsuccessful. Jennifer was fazed for quite some time, however, eventually moved to Philadelphia and found work. She worked hard at her job and at her art and applied again the next year. This time she was successful and she had money to live of so she could survive working a few less hours a week.
Jennifer was at a charity benefit ball one night, she tagged along with some friends. She caught the eye of an... Interesting figure on a couple occasions. He looked perfectly human but, somehow, different. Not so human even. Last thing she remembers is approaching the man to converse with him but blacked out. When she awoke she was in a cage, dangling in the air. Other: She is studying a graphic design major

Name: Scarlett Dalton Age: 104 years old (looks 24 years old) Gender: Female Species: Vampire Appearance: Shown in picture
Personality: Someone that is used to utilising her charm in order to get what she wants, Scarlett is a smouldering, sensuous character. Upon first encounter, she betrays nothing but suggestive flirtation and cool superiority. She may appear very full of herself alongside vain and contemptuous, but underneath her superficiality is a passionate, lonely being that is far more insecure than she would ever wish to reveal. It may take some work, but there is a warm heart behind the walls of ice she builds.
Weapons: Her charm and looks, and her servants; apart from that, she is surprisingly vulnerable.
Power: Typically heightened vampire senses. Can change minor factors of her appearance at a time. For example, her colour of hair and eyes can be altered depending on her mood. With enough concentration, she can manipulate her looks completely for a short period of time as a manner of disguise. She has a factor of compulsion that she has yet to explore, similiar to that of a Succubus but nowhere near as powerful or practiced.
Weaknesses: Still being a relatively young vampire, she is not as invulnerable as she may appear. Some would believe her to be overestimating how powerful she actually is, hence her lack of weapons.
Guest/Worker: Guest How you intend to use your humans: To compensate for the loneliness she feels, she will most likely compel them to love her. That, and feeding, of course. Relationships: None, at the moment.
Bio: It is surprising to many that Scarlett is such a young vampire due to her seemingly effortless control. The time period she grew up in was the twenties, and much of the devilish nature of those years have stayed with her even until now. She was changed by her boyfriend at the time, whom she swiftly disposed of as he informed her of what she had become. Alongside her icy front, she obtained a great deal of riches from the numerous rich lords she would...have fun with. This is now her seventh year at the Hotel.
So about how many characters do you intend to have before we can start to post IC?
We have a large amount of people in so I think I'll start it soon (and remain open for now). I'll be making another human and get a more detailed roster up in a bit.
