Smith while sitting down in his chair and while staring at the food that was being served to them he could help but look at Kara, His eyes moving towards her body which was slim and very pleasing to the eye which was a nice thing for him. He had to take a deep breath when she wrapped her long tail around him blushing a even brighter shade of red.

One of Adykon's teenage sons laughed at Smith's newfound red shade. "He's turning into a tomato!"

"Heh. Oh, alright. That's enough out of you, young man!" Adykon told the juvenile dracon, barely able to stifle a soft laugh himself. "Here, Smith. Try some of this bread. I can get you extra honey if you like."

Kara looked at Smith. "So, what brings you back to our little home, handsome?"

"T...thank you..." He said taking the bread and putting it onto his plate taking a small bite out of it, It was to say the least the best bread he had ever tasted perhaps it was some sort of Dracon recipe that he does not know about."Well i am here to help your father and mother with some rebels i believe" He said looking over to Kara blushing still form the way he called her handsome.

"Some rebels? I'd like to go with you. I'm a healer, after all." She put a hand on his bare right shoulder and used a bit of her magic on it. There was nothing to heal, but her hand generated a soft yellow glow and gave off a warmth which seemed to come out of nowhere. "No way I'm gonna let you get hurt. Or if you get hurt, stay hurt. You're much too good-looking for that."

"Kara, I don't think he likes you doing that" Adykon explained. Aerta said nothing to contradict him, but she silently gave her daughter a little nod, sending a sign of approval for her actions.

"That's . . . workable," Rughoi mused. "You have done very well for your empire, Rama. Excuse me while I consult my other advisors." He then turned to Merat. "We can't have this," he whispered.

"Then allow me," Merat said, nodding as he laid out details of a possible way to get them out of it. Rughoi's eyes lit up at the plan. He turned back to Rama.

"General Merat has made an ingenious suggestion. We shall have the elite ranks of our new dracon allies march shoulder to shoulder with our own kobold guard. We shall also assign a regiment to guard each of our new warchiefs, and to serve under their command. This, I believe, shall prove our loyalty as well as our desire for cultural unity," Rughoi said, trying very hard not to smile. Secretly, he knew that Merat was commanding the kobold guard to immediately capture the dracon warchiefs and kill the elites the moment the city is secure. Hopefully, surprise and discipline shall save Xigyll their treasury.

"Oh it's okay Mr.Adykon...umm she would be a great asset to the team if you so wished it" He said the feeling of her scaly hand on his pale shoulder making him shiver form the touch, His hands moving to the bread on the table taking another bite while trying to grab some chicken for himself.

"Blessed mother...i thank you for this gift i have revived" He muttered to himself then taking a bite of the chicken, Something he learned form his mother when she lived with him and his father. A prayer that showed you respected nature and the bountiful meals which someone should give back to nature if they take something.

"I... see. The allied chiefs will want to have their own bodyguards, I am sure. At best, they would probably welcome your guards alongside their own, but I doubt they will want to be protected solely by your warriors." Rama grew somewhat suspicious. Rughoi might be planning on turning on them, and him too, possibly.

Kara took her hand off of his shoulder. She was getting hungry and began to eat. "Which mother are you referring to? Our family shrine has over a dozen mother goddesses."

"And just as many father gods" Adykon chimed in.

"Oh well i was referring to the blessed mother...She is the goddess of nature to the Nymphs in the world" He said taking another bite out of his chicken before speaking again. "She tells us to give back what we take form nature and to also respect it" He said feeling sadden that Kara took her hand off of him but was gently rubbing her tail that was still wrapped around his body.

Kara needed both of her hands to eat, but she wanted to put them back on Smith. Even so, she needed to finish her food, and she had things to do that day so she couldn't take too long to eat. "Well, we call her 'Tichada', but she is known by many names in many lands" Aerta explained. "If you wish to pray before her and the others, Kara can lead you to our shrine." The rest of the meal proceeded quickly, with the males finishing their food quickly. Adykon took his leave early.

"See you around, kids. I have preparations to make for our... mission. Got to fight again. If you need me, I'll be getting my weapons and armor ready. I'll be the armory room." True enough, Adykon's house had a large room filled with weapons and armor. This is where he kept his large collection of weapons and armor. At least, most of them. Some were kept in his room. Others were kept elsewhere.

Smith had finished eating his food before finishing up his food and listening into their conversation,"Oh very interesting" He said knowing only a little about about the other deities. With Kara's father leaving the room Smith was rubbing the back of his head before turning to face Kara, "So what now?" He asked her in a soft tone of voice.

"She's my companion!" Fasuto barked in a sudden worry. Rust ants are popping up and fighting.

"Sir Ophion, get the dust you need! I'll distract them!" Fasuto yelled as he charged head on with a grin, jumping to the head of one of the ants, frontflipping on midair as he conjured a glorious bow- it was red and full of fancy decorations, as he released the bow's jute, two arrows dug unto the ant's skull instead of one. He released his bow as it dissolved in midair. "I can handle them, I assure you!" He said as he landed.

"Well, I never undertake anything big without consulting the spirits, praying to the gods, and taking a little while to meditate first. Since we're going to be fighting soon enough, it is best that we do those three things." Kara suggested. The rest of the family was clearing out, the last bit of food still being finished by one of Adykon's younger sons. "That, and we should take a bit of time to pray that my mother has another healthy egg. She won't be going off to fight this time, but my father will. In the off chance that my dad won't return, they want to try and conceive another egg before... well, you get the idea."

"Forget the sand! We've got enough for now!" He quickly scooped up a bit more and teleported it away. Ophion blasted a thin stream of fire from his fingers and traced a line on the sand, which quickly erupted into a wall of flame, separating the creatures from Fasuto. "Just grab what you can and run! Follow me, quickly!" More of the creatures started to erupt from the soil, including a few with larger mandibles, wings, and stingers. The "ants" were the workers, not the soldiers. Ophion quickly shot one down with a fireball, but more kept coming.

"Oh yes sure where is your shrine?" Smith said now standing up form his chair moving her pink tail away form him, Even though he would love to have her tail all over him he would have to focus on what is important. His eyes looking back to her torso his face still bright red form his blushing.

He was thinking in the back of his head on how he would tell her how he feels about her and worried if she feels the same way.

"This way" Kara took his hand and walked with him, almost pulling him along. They walked to a room in the house, with windows on all four sides, letting in light from all directions. The walls were covered in paintings, statuettes, and various images of holy dracons. There were also several incense burners, candles, and other religious paraphernalia. At the north side of the room, there was a gray stone altar with several larger images and statues on top of it, with some mats on the floor in front of it. Most of the statues were of dragons or dracons, but a few human or at least human-looking figures could be seen among them.

"We're adding more statuettes all of the time. Father said that after he beat Dememoras, all of the temples sent him gifts. He put them in here and made this room." Kara let go of his hand as she sat down on the mat cross-legged and took several deep breaths, closing her eyes.

"Well sure!" Fasuto hummed as he took 2 wooden bowls at his paws and scooped some and removed the bowls from existance, he followed Ophion shortly, he seemed like he have mimic'd his running. "Tell me how to make that wall of flame later, sir!" He grinned.

"Don't worry about that now! I can show you later! We've got to get out of here! And your little spider too!" Ophion fired another beam of light from his hands. It stopped suddenly in the air and formed a blue, glowing portal. On the other side was a storage room filled with bowls, bottles, kegs, baskets, bins, boxes, barrels, pots, and all manner of storage items. "Take your bowls and get in there! Go through quickly! Don't worry about me, I'll follow later! Just get in before the bugs do!"

Smith was amazed by the how big and how grand the room was, All of this paraphernalia and statues placed in the room with many of them he could name. Sitting down beside Kara kneeling beside her on a mat closing his eyes for a moment thinking of doing something simular when he was with his mother. Thinking of his mother made him feel lonely even when he had friends and the dracon people he has always been searching for his mother wanting to reunite with her.

"So umm..how is your magic?Have you been practicing alot" He asked her softly once he had finished his prayer to the Blessed Mother.

"I've gotten better at healing, but I'm not much of a combat mage" Kara replied, her eyes still closed. She was a lot calmer than earlier, the sacred atmosphere of the room having done much to quiet her. Of course, the soft mat and sweet smell of the incense probably helped as well. "I've been practicing, but my magic is inborn, not from a book. We'll talk more about that later. Now, I need to be in perfect balance. Achieve symmetry." She pressed the soft white soles of her feet together, pressing the toes and spurs as well. She laid her tail out behind her, pressed her hands together, and tried to make each half of her mirror the other half as much as possible.

"Oh well i do know someone in the main city that could help you...she is apart of the magical group there i am friends with her" Smith said softly opening his eyes for a moment before closing them back up again. "Oh umm if you need help with illusion magic i can teach you some useful spells" He added wanting to train her and get closer towards her. He felt like he should work up the courage to try to confess his feels to her.
