With the close of the First Labour of series two, the roster with lives have all been updated. A few of you have extra lives to play around with now. There are also a few new 2-Lifers that have been added and informed via PM, so we may or may not be seeing a new face or two shortly.

@Cruallassar what arrows did you use to shoot the henchman in the knee? A regular arrow with a carved wooden tip, or an arrow with with an iron tip with hooks on it?

I'm guessing the average arrows with a carved tip, but I want to make sure before attempting to help the man.

@Terminal On it. Despite my less than tip-top current mental state, on it. I'm under the impression Kael was a bit further away still, so I wrote it like that. And that run is just assuming I wasn't suddenly impaled and killed, if that's the case tell me, and I'll react correspondingly. Hahaha...

Sorry for the late response, I've been off judging a VEX robotics competition.
It is a steel-tipped arrow, but straight, not barbed or hooked or jagged in any way.

@Bright_Ops,@mdk congratulations are in order. Fortune just saved Luca's life. If Bright_Ops had not posted in time, Luca would have been turned into a lawn ornament.

Also, congratulations to @Doc Doctor, who just - perhaps somewhat inadvertently - discovered the very first clue of the Final Hazard.

Also, time for a vote. @Bright_Ops@Cruallassar@Doc Doctor@Holmishire@mdk@PlatinumSkink@WiseDragonGirl

Shall I continue to reproduce errors en-mass as I have been?

Or, alternatively: Should I just hold every error you make in reserve, and tactically deploy them whenever I personally see fit in order to obfuscate the narrative and create ambiguity where it is most inconvenient? The rule-of-two would still be in effect.

I am going to abstain from this vote, since I've been having little trouble with the reproduced errors thus far.

@Terminal ... Holding them in until the moment they're as most inconvenient sounds fun. XD

Edit: ... Ah, um. Let me save your life, there, Luca... How high up is he?

I mean......

Well for instance -- when we had that minor slip-up where Fortune went after the three thugs after Donny had already killed the three thugs, and then POOF, they're all alive again -- THAT is the sort of universe-alteration I anticipated when we started. Replication of spelling errors when it's just for the sake of noting the error seems like more work for everybody, not least of which, YOU! But if that is part of the point, then it's totally valid.

I guess what I'm saying is, I'm not attached to it. There are cases where it makes a LOT of sense, and there are times when it just feels it's taking longer to play. So I'd probably vote for a more selective reproduction of errors.

the reproduction of errors as you have been has a certain appeal, the texts will gradually get harder to read as we continue to make mistakes.

I generously assumed that Amelie redirected you so that you would not fall on top of a pool of sprouting metal spines.

On that note: With two abstentions, two in favor, and one against, I am currently going to take the alternative approach for a test drive. You should see the consequences of it shortly.

Just so you know I really don't plan to try and kill every NPC we come across. I hope Donny isn't ruining the progression of the plot by being so insistently volatile towards strangers!

Not at all. I have a very open plan laid out for all of you, which is flexible as towards any actions taken. I will admit that it may take longer than predicted to reach Act 2, but all good things etcetera.
