Other students calling her a baby, boys and girls alike rejecting her for ‘not being cool enough’- average enough, I know, but when they also steal from you, openly lie to make you get in trouble, and lock you in bathrooms, it’s not as average. She still fuels her days with love, though, for she feels that if nobody gives love to those who need it, then how are we still here? In order to actually join the academy, she had to scrape up the money by applying for a few scholarships, and striving to do her best and love what she’s doing. Her parents helped her out, saving money ever since her sister Lina had graduated, and giving it to her to help her get there. She feels that the more she learns, the better she can help people, and feels that helping people is her purpose. 7. What is your character’s favourite book or movie genre? Why? Kyra actually really likes scary movies, because they’re fun to watch. Whenever she scares, she laughs it off- unless it has something to do with puppets. THEN she completely freaks out.
8. Who does your character admire/look up to? Kyra admires cats for their laid-back attitude and their grace and charm. She also admires anybody who is willing to make a difference.

He made sure to keep a tight grip on his suitcase which carried training weapons and his main weapon a retractable lightweight metal staff. He wasn't sure if he would be able to get off with carrying knifes or swords so he played it safe.
Please rescind this part of your post. I’m sorry I didn’t make it clear earlier, but students are NOT allowed to bring weapons OF ANY KIND to school. All training weapons will be provided at the school. Think of it this way, your school might offer fencing classes, but would they let you bring an actual saber? Students are not allowed to bring their own weapons under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. Certainly not knives, swords, or metal staffs.
Also, I do hope you asked Mechonraptor's permission before knocking Nathaniel over.
@Ryik Congratulations! Your magic type is Wind magic! You control the very air around you, in the wind and sky! Using wing magic, you can direct gusts of wind, create vortexes, and even lift yourself up on a breeze! Whoa! Currently, you only know summon, so you can summon a gust of wind to you, but can’t do much else. With time and the aid of a familiar, however, you can direct your winds with more skill, precision, and eloquence, and perform powerful feats that defy nature and even manipulate the very air currents! Amazing!
@Sorrelmyst Congratulations! Your character’s new magic type is Earth Magic! Earth magic gives control over the crystals in soil, rock, and even dust or sand! A formidable magic, to be certain! In addition, earth Mages are one of the few types that can learn Alter, which changes the rock they have into a completely different kind! Better brush up on your geology! At the moment, you only know Summon, so you can cause sprouts of rock to jut up from the ground, walls, or ceiling (if in a cave), but can’t do much else. With time, however, you can master the many applications of Earth Magic, and become a prominent mage inside of battle or out! What a knock out!
@Republic Congratulations! Your Ability is Telekinesis! A kinetic ability, you can lift objects with your mind! Whoa! There are some catches, however. Currently, you can’t lift anything you couldn’t physically lift, and you can only hold something in the air for 5 minutes. Trying to lift too much at once or holding something for too long will give you nosebleeds, and eventually lead to more catastrophic consequences, so be careful! You can also currently only hold one object at a time. You can also open and close windows, flip pages of books, and even throw things with your mind! With enough training, you can increase your carry capacity, the duration of time you hold an item, and even hold multiple items at once! Wicked!
In addition, look at the first page of the OOC to find your new partners! We're excited to have you all join us, and feel free to post in the IC at any time!

@SunsetRoses I have a big exam tomorrow and a paper to write over the weekend, and I'm gonna give people time to finish up their interactions on the street. However, by Wednesday, I would like everyone to be up in front of the school, and I'll start the next event. I think 5 days is more than enough time for everyone to be finished up. Be warned, once the scene has transitioned, all conversations are over.
The next event is gonna be the Ceremony of Names, where the characters will be called up, paired with a partner, gain the seal of the sacramentum, and be shown to their dorms. I'm going to have blueprint layouts of the dorm by Wednesday, and will hopefully have a layout of the school soon after.
