Although she has a kind face, she is quick to put a person in their place and has no regrets in doing so.
Biography: Born and raised in Maefeld, Delaney is the only daughter to two Mages: her father, a wealthy entrepreneur, and her mother a very well-known socialite with her hands in the fashion world. Her parents raised her to believe their family was above all others and urged her to become the best Mage in the world. With this attitude and motivation behind her, Delaney is an excellent scholar and prides herself on how far she has developed her magic. With both parents being alumni and constantly donating to St. Fortuna's Academy for the Higher Arts, there was no question of what school their darling child would attend.

Personality: Janine can be said to be who or what she needs to fit the situation when dealing with most people. Those that know her better would tell you she is often far more intelligent and calculating than her age or demeanor might let on due to her upbringing. The girl looks out for number one at all times making sure she is ahead of the game when possible or on the way up using any means necessary even if that entails helping others. It is rare she forms any real connections to the people however during and after her first year there are a couple other students who she can comfortably call friends, an unusual occurrence to be sure. By nature she is a very social person enjoying time in the spotlight determined to maintain appearances by charming and flattering her way through the day. Under the normal guise is intense ambition, focus, and need have everything organized her way exactly as she wants with no hesitation about making it so personally.

Biography: Janine was born as the younger sibling alongside her sister Cecilia to a famous and rich politician of Prydain father, one Conroy Alrya, and his gossip queen of a wife, Elaina Alrya, who owned multiple extremely successful businesses in Maefeld. The two sisters wanted for nothing and were both extremely happy during the younger years often on display to the rest of high society as two perfect gems, which served to benefit both parents as they slowly taught their daughters more about the political and social game as time went on. The parents had planned early on that they wanted the twins to succeed them but they weren't satisfied with just success wanting the girls to eventually be able to beat them at the wider game. Young Cecilia and Janine learned more quickly than either parent could have hoped for often working as a pair to make sure each other did well though plenty capable at charming a room solo. The girls took to education of all kinds extremely well wanting nothing more than to learn of new opportunities for them to excel at, it was quite a competition between the two but far more friendly than most would think seeing them now, and just the prospect that there was something they didn't know interested them. Janine and her sister have gone down slightly different paths since the latter graduated leaving the younger sibling to her own devices giving free reign for her to takeover as necessary. Occasionally she has wondered what a more normal life would be like, not being the near perfect mix of both her parents and what they want, but she finds she is more than happy to work her way to better than just that. As for getting into St. Fortuna's it as the least her parents could have done to throw her into the most prestigious school to watch her rise above the rest and her first year was a good one but she plans to make this next one even better with all of her power and will.

Personality:
Henri is a happy man generally. He loves to smile and never seems to be unhappy about anything. If anything, does not seem to care about holding grudges. His favorite way of dealing with something is with his fist rather than words. Henri cares about his friends and will go through hell itself if it means keeping someone safe. However, he is not very bright. Intelligence based things are not his best skills. Any partner he had would need to tutor him in school related tasks. The soul is willing but the brain is weak for Henri. He never got tutors to help him with school or anything. His father had written him off as a lost cause from the day he was born. Most of what Henri knows is from books or from what his family's servants taught him. He can be quite the charmer when he is hitting on someone. However, he has a lot riding on this. His family expects a lot from Henri. It is not that Henri is not intelligent. He is quite smart, it is just that he has never had any help with his learning. He has the skills he needs to get what he wants and the desire to do it. He would do anything to get his family's empire and prove he is worthy of his name.

Biography:
Henri Andrew Amberhall was born on a cold winter's night on his families estate near Maefeld. Through some sort of accident, Maria Amberhall died soon after Henri was born. Henri never knew why she died since his father never talked about her. As the fourth son of the family, it was clear that Henri was not going to inherit anything from his father, Christopher Amberhall . From an early age, his father ignored his youngest son. He never said it out loud but Henri's brothers told him that their father blamed him for her death. It was a hard feeling for a five year old to deal with but he had to. His family fortune was based off of the local boom in fashion. The Amberhall's were the very definition of old money and had expectations. However, Henri never had any expectations on him. There was no reason for it. So, Henri was allowed to do whatever he wanted. His brothers and father would leave Henri all alone from the age of eight in the family mansion while they traveled the country. The family servants looked out for Henri and Henri used his free time to read about far away lands and magic. His family came from a long line of mages. Henri read books on magic while he wandered the cold and empty house. Whenever his father was away, the servants would teach Henri different skills to help him. They taught him how to fight and not be such a weak rich boy. Over the years, his father desired one last thing to gain power. He wanted to become a noble. He had the money and all he needed was the title to be accepted in high society. However, he was turned away at every turn. That just made him even more angry.

When Henri was 14, his father announced that he was going to St. Fortuna's Academy. Every member of the family had gone to the school. His older brothers had passed with flying colors. Now it was up to Henri to follow the family tradition. Henri saw it as a way to finally get his father's attention. His managed to get through the fist year of schooling with decent grades. He was not coasting on his family's money. However, now Henri has to prove that he is worthy of his family's name. If he could outshine his brothers, things would get better for him. He needs to win at the school. Henri Amberhall will be a somebody someday. He would get that noble title his father so lusted for and run the family empire. He was done being bossed around.

Richard stands at 6'2" and weighs 160lbs. Very tall for his age, he's long and lithe, with some muscle he's built up from swimming. He wears silver-rimmed glasses and always wears button-up shirts, even when out of uniform. He has a long, thin scar on his shoulder blade from an accident when he was a child.

Ability: Invisibility. An Enigma ability, Richard can turn himself various levels of translucent, eventually turning completely invisible. The ability seems to be connected to his stress level. With practice, he may be able to master it and turn invisible at will.

Partner: Robert Allen

Personality: Richard is a smart, caring young with a strong sense of responsibility. While polite and cordial to strangers, he’s prickly, dry, and gruff to his friends, and sarcastic to a fault. A secret fan of puns, he doesn’t like being in the spotlight, and most of his humor happens behind closed doors. He’s terribly anxious when put on the spot, and stammers terribly when nervous. Despite this, however, he’s strong willed, stubborn and even something of a sore loser. He doesn’t let himself be pushed around, even by those with more money and power than him. He can hold a mean grudge, and can be surprisingly manipulative in his revenge. His greatest goal is to get through St. Fortuna’s intense system in one piece, and attend college in Lynden.

Biography: Richard was born in Lynden, to John G. Bateman Jr. and Paula Bateman, a doctor and nurse couple. They doted on their only son, and did their best to raised him to be polite, friendly, and level-headed. John was the son of a former minister, and had abandoned a career in politics to become a doctor. He had met Paula at St. Fortuna’s, and they quickly fell in love. Sentimental about the place, they decided they would prepare their son to attend in hopes he could one day find his match. Money was put into a savings account to pay for tuition, and little Richard was quickly put on a path to academic success.

He met Beatrice Quincy in elementary school by chance. She was the daughter of a minister, he was a minister’s grandson. They hated each other at first sight. Richard hated Beatrice for being loud and obnoxious, Beatrice hated Richard for being prickly and stuck up. They constantly fought, calling each other names, pulling hair, and pushing one another. Somehow, along the way, the fighting grew more friendly, and by middle school, they were best friends. They both applied to St. Fortuna’s their final year of middle school, and were accepted.

Richard has loved swimming since he was a grade schooler, and spent most of his summer days in the pool. His parents encouraged him to try out for his school's swim team in middle school, and Richard made it on to the team. Though he's never won gold, he has gotten two bronze medals and one silver.
Though his parents want him to go to med school and take over the clinic from them, Richard secretly is more interested in politics, and wants to follow in his grandfather's footsteps. However, his low-self esteem, tendency to stammer, and his cowardice get in his way. Currently, he believes he has no hope of ever becoming a charismatic public speaker.

Richard still has yet to discover his Ability, the tests he took during his first year remain inconclusive. Feeling like a disappointment, Richard’s parents assured him that he was just a late bloomer and he would find it with the help of a partner. He hopes they’re right, as he doesn’t know if he can handle being the only familiar in his second year without an Ability. If he had to deal with that, he might as well just disappear.

Likes: Richard likes reading, video games, and staying inside. He’s very much a city boy, and likes keeping things neat, clean, and tidy. He enjoys swimming, history, and mathematics. Sour and bitter foods are his favorite. He likes being in control of the situation and having things go his way. Despite his grumpy demeanor in private, he cares for Beatrice like the sister he never had.

Dislikes:Richard hates spicy food, messes, bad weather, and fights. He can’t hold his own in a fight, and has never used his fists in his life. He hates being humiliated and looked down on, and can hold a mean grudge. He’s allergic to bird feathers, and doesn’t like cats very much. He can’t stand horror and gore, and hates horror movies as a result. He hates his stammer and inner cowardice.

Richard’s greatest regret is that he feels he let his parents down with his personality. He feels like he’s too cowardly, cynical, and sarcastic to be the child his parents raised, and feels guilty as a result.

First thing he’d do is probably jump out of his chair. Richard does not handle horror well. He’d then probably leave the house as quickly as possible, and waste time at a late-night restaurant until his parents come home.

He’d point out the wrongs and rights of both of their arguments, and try to mediate between them and find a suitable compromise. Or, if it’s something stupid, he’d tell them to get over it.

He’d continue on to class and try to bullshit his way through it without it. Better to make a mistake that you can cover up than publicly lose face.

Summer! Richard loves when the weather is good, sun is shining, and pools are open. He loves warm weather and being able to roll up his shirt sleeves.

Beatrice has straight, light caramel colored hair that reaches to her shoulders. The left side of her hair has eyebrow length bangs, while the right side is longer, but pinned off to the side with a purple butterfly clip. She has pale skin, but she doesn't seem to burn very easily, most likely due to the fact that she spent most of her childhood with her father in their garden. The exposure to the outdoors also causes her to have a large amount of freckles across her face, neck and shoulders. Beatrice is 5’2”, and has been called ‘petite’. Her eyes are a greenish hazel color, and she has almond shaped eyes.

Personality: Beatrice is a very bright and perky young woman. She is a very upbeat person, and strives to make others happy. She is fun and laid back when it comes to social interaction, but is very serious about her academics. She is very outgoing and loves to make friends, especially with people who are less extroverted than her. She is very curious, and strives to learn as much as she can. She is strong willed, and can be a bit stubborn and even irrational at times. She takes insults to heart and it is easy to guilt trip and manipulate her. She feels sympathy, even for those she knows she shouldn’t, and tends to take people's emotions at face value. She is generally a gentle person, but she can get a bit over excited sometimes and break things.

Biography: Beatrice was born into a wealthy and well off family. Her mother is a fairly influential minister, so her family is popular among the upper class. Her father was a farmer, but retired after he married Beatrice’s mother so that he could stay home with the children. Her parents try very hard to be the best role models they can be for their children, and are very supportive and accepting. Beatrice and her three siblings grew up in a mostly calm and happy home. Like all families, they have their rough spots, but they are a very close knit bunch. When she entered into elementary school, she made a fair amount of friends, but there was one boy who she just couldn’t get along with. Richard J. Bateman. They constantly fought and antagonized each other due to their conflicting personalities. Eventually, the fighting grew to friendly teasing, and by middle school they were best friends. Their friendship may seem to mainly consist of bickering and teasing, but Beatrice sees him as the person she trusts most outside of her family.

At a young age Beatrice showed an interest in all aspects of the world. From the earth and its environment, to the medicines and sciences, she was a very curious child. Her father spent most of their time together either in the garden, teaching her about flora and fauna, or in their study, teaching her other subjects of the world. Between her private grade and middle schools, her multiple tutors, and her father's guidance, Beatrice had a world of knowledge at her fingertips. Her mother taught her to take pride in her achievements, and that if she wants something she has to work for it. She has had her sights set on St. Fortuna’s Academy since she first heard of it. Between her high grades and her parents paying the tuition, she was easily accepted. She spent most of her first year balancing keeping her grades up and making new friends.

Beatrice was raised in a very city centered environment, but she is very fond of nature. She loves bright colors and spicy foods, and just bold things in general. She likes to have a balance between cleanliness and chaos. She enjoys reading and studying, and has an extreme passion for table tennis and roller coasters. She loves a good joke, and enjoys playing harmless pranks on her friends.

Dislikes:
Beatrice hates being left alone. She grew up in a busy household, and very much dislikes the quite. Being around lots of people reminds her of home. She dislikes arguments and being ignored. Giving her the cold shoulder is the cruelest punishment for Beatrice. She hates being underestimated, and has a strange fear of dogs. Personality: Ruby is...Awkward. She's not shy so much as she doesn't really know how to talk to people well. She instead prefers to throw herself into things she likes doing then interacting with people. She can hold a conversation fine for the most part but she usually isn't very enthused unless shes talking about something she likes. She feels very out of her element in St. Fortuna and around the people that occupy its walls, she just doesn't feel like she has much in common with most of these people and is really just longing for the chance to go back home or to the guild her family is apart of. She'll most likely open up to a person with either a simular background to her or someone who aspires to join a guild or has similar interests as her.

Biography: Ruby comes from a long line of Guild members, nearly every single member of her family that wasn't married in has been a guild member for some guild or another. The main guild that her family has been associated with is the "Swords of Faith" Guild, which is the largest in all of Pyrdain, with it's HQ located in Colbar and several smaller branches located across the country. Ruby's grandfather was even the previous Guildmaster up till a few years ago, so it's safe to say that she grew up around some rather interesting characters.

Ruby's main family is actually rather small, consisting of her Father, his father, Ruby's elder sister Mary Jane, and then Ruby herself as her mother died of a heart condition when Ruby was very young. Her father, though very loving towards his daughters, couldn't raise them properly by himself and thus when he was too busy to look after them, he left them in the care of their grandfather, who in turn let the other guild members who were about look after them as well. So essentially the whole guild raised her and her sister.

When the girls got to high school age, it was decided that maybe sending them to a more prestigious school would do them well in their futures as guild members, and not lacking the funds to do it, sent them to St. Fortuna. Mary Jane being 3 years older, was about out of school by the time Ruby was old enough to go, she only got to spend one year with her sister, though they were together as much as possible for that one year. Now that Mary Jane has graduated and has gone on to pursue her career as a guild member, Ruby is doing her best to follow in her footsteps...without feeling too lonely.

Likes: Ruby enjoys sparing every now and then and also walking around the woods around the school, exploring what she can. She also enjoys studying maps and one of her hobbies is map making though shes nowhere near a professional level yet.

Dislikes: Ruby doesn't care too much for rain, as it can be hard to walk in. She also dosen't really care for the summer time or heat in general.

Cool as a cucumber and laid back like a recliner are ways to describe Clyde. Or at least his outer shell. In truth, Clyde is a rather emotional child on the inside and often misunderstands those around him. He tends to avoid confrontation when it concerns himself, allowing others to bully him physically or verbally. But if those close to him are threatened, he sheds away his outer shell revealing a fierce monster underneath. However, a good ol' fashioned apology goes a long way. Clyde tries his best to not hold grudges. He enjoys the company of others and does his best to speak to new faces. But he is a bit awkward with his words and clumsy ways. The boy takes pride in his own physical abilities preferring to not rely on his abilities if necessary, which is why he enjoys lifting at the gym.

Clyde has a problem speaking to any female or those with feminine appearances. His words become stuttered and his focus becomes a bit lost. This is prevalent with women his own age or close to it. Clyde Lee comes from a wealthy family with riches based upon the fishing industry in Colbar (his hometown). As a young lad, he and his siblings would often go down to the ocean and fish their days away. Spending his days under the sun, Clyde grew into a strong boy able to haul in large creatures from the waters and carry heavy loads upon his shoulders. His family is made of strong mages and familiars that were very supporting of one another. His parents and siblings take pride in their magical or ability finesse whereas Clyde was always a bit different. The boy loved to work with his hands and perform without the aid of abilities or magic. Because of this attitude, Clyde spend many hours working out or pushing his body to peak performance. He also spent many hours practicing his favorite sport, boxing. Thus, the majority of his stories consist of beasts he hunted, fish he caught, and tales of bravado in the face of danger. Generations of his family attended Saint Fortuna's Academy, and thus came Clyde's turn. Coming from a wealthy family certainly made the process easy and Clyde has definitely kept up with his studies to be granted admittance. He hopes to make his family and future partner proud.

Personality: Nathan is often the kid whom you see sitting in the corner, attempting to blend in and be ignored. He never goes out of his way to initiate a conversation, and most of the time is silent. He always looks focused on something because of this, and most people don't know what goes on inside the teenager's head. He doesn’t do so intentionally, but rather, it developed slowly as he tried his best to live up to the expectations set for him. His family may be wealthy, but he tries his best not to notice that in himself or take note of the wealth of others. He doesn’t like the potential influence his family can have over him, and so he’s somewhat developed a lone type attitude to keep others from learning more about him. He’ll often brush off any mention of his family, and will talk little of them to keep that part of him hidden.

However, he isn't completely anti-social. While he does indeed avoid starting a conversation, he isn't afraid to answer most questions or talk to someone if they start the conversation. While they may not be the most wordy of responses, he isn't afraid to respond most of the time. This also extends to groups as well; he'll often be silent, observing other's ideas and in turn giving his own suggestions with what he feels is right if he feels he has to. Because of this, he may get some backlash for speaking his mind with an honest opinion, but at least he’s being honest.. And they asked for it. Some may consider him a leader because he'll take charge if no one is willing in group projects, but he's more comfortable with simply following the lead of someone else. In fact, he’s often willing to do an entire group project by himself if he can instead, as he often doesn’t trust others to do their work in the first place. And if he does do a group project with others, he still does all of it so that there is always a backup if one of his group members fail. He’ll often take notes of everything going on in the class, and is often annoyed by those who don’t take class seriously. And while he may have a thirst for knowledge and in general know a decent amount, he never lets that search control him or brags about it.

The easiest way to open him up is to talk about topics that he himself is interested in. From songs to potions, he'll gladly talk to people if they take an interest in what he likes. He's always smiling a bit more during such discussions, and it is one of the rare times where he'll be genuine with people he isn't close to. However, since it is the easiest way for him to consider you a friend, he'll begin to act more real with them, starting to add his own thoughts more frequently and carefully over time. When his barrier is broken and he gets a new friend, he becomes determined to make sure you stay his friend to the extent that he'd rather appease someone over causing conflict. Nathan is the eldest of 2 in the Elswood family, born in Maefeld. His father was a familiar entrepreneur, while his mother was a mage who always sought to impress. Together, their combined ambition created the Elswood Center, a massive mixture of different, unique stores within the Pearl district similar to a mall. They’d rent people spaces within, and they could sell what they wanted so long as it met the Elswood standard. And while that was all nice and well, their biggest attraction within the Elswood Center was their spa, once described to rejuvenate the soul of any who went there. Of course, that wasn’t actually true as not even healing magic could accomplish that, but it made for good marketing. Nathan remembers even when he was little that the place was continuously filled with people.

And while the place was popular, it certainly wasn’t the only place to go to in the Pearl district, just rather well known and successful. Success that, while it was all well and good, often meant that little Nathan was usually left with some sort of babysitter when he was younger while his parents managed their success. He didn’t understand when he was younger, and while he could often get what he wanted and was distracted for very much of his toddler years, when it became time for him to be educated, his parents seemed to spare no expense to do so.

Personal tutors, hours of studying anything his hands could get a hold of… and they were lucky their son had a thirst for knowledge. Though, it was a desire for knowledge of how the world worked, of how magic existed and co-existed with familiars. Often, his parents attempted to have him skim over such information, attempting to entice him with economics, but he always found himself reaching back for magical information. While he was amused at his parent’s attempts at first, he often found himself at odds with their thought processes. Growing older, while gaining knowledge, also made him see the faults his parents had. They didn’t seem like perfect business owners, but instead often operated in a rather gray area, being manipulative with those they worked with or over.

So while he often did what he was told, their efforts often were in vain. So much so was the distress that Nathan caused for not wanting to eventually take over as heir of their business that they decided to have another baby boy when he became 10 This child would take his place when he grew older, while Nathan could focus on what he wanted to do. And what he wanted to do was, even at that young age, to find more out about mages and familiars. Instead of devoting most of his time to attempting to learn how to follow in his parent’s footsteps, he could instead invest that time into learning what it meant to be a familiar and how to properly be one.

This would eventually lead him to beg his parents when he was 15 into attending St. Fortuna's Academy for the Higher Arts, to which they simply agreed to. To them, it was a way to get rid of their first son and start anew, or perhaps make a name for himself and thus raise their own. For Nathan, it was a way to branch out and learn more about himself in that first year. They easily afforded the tuition the first year, and could continue to do so for the years to come. Deep down, he’s a little excited for what this year will hold, but he’ll probably do his best to keep it to himself.

While Nathan would despise being later to class than he already was going to/about to be, the crucial thing would be much more important. After all, if it was crucial to the class, it’d be worth a single tardy or being marked late than not bringing it at all. He’d at least try to convince the teacher after class to hear him out on why he was late, but would ultimately understand if they didn’t listen.

Sylvie is no supermodel. She is of average height, average weight, and equal proportions. Her back is always straight, but her walk isn’t particularly impressive or confident – more of a shuffling gait than anything. No, where Sylvie’s selling point is, is her face. Sylvie has a doll-like face with big doe-eyes, a pert nose, and soft pink lips. Sylvie accentuates this features by putting on blush and outlining her eyes in natural eyeshadow and brown eyeliner. Periodically, Sylvie takes out her favorite bubblegum flavored lipgloss and applies it, she has done it so often it’s become a habit – one she is trying to break, but everyone has their weaknesses. Sylvie’s hair is a dark brown curly mess that flows to just below her shoulders and, in the mornings, she straightens most of it out, but it usually begins to curl an hour later. Sylvie is the embodiment of sunshine – except, well, not really. She is bubbly and has a smile on her face most of the time. Sylvie is cheerful and prefers to look on the good side of things; she doesn’t like being down – but then again, who does – and laughs easily. Sylvie may be an optimist, but she is not disillusioned by it and can have a realistic point of view when the situation calls for it.

Just because Sylvie is your average jolly bystander doesn’t mean she’s oblivious. Sylvie knows what sarcasm is, it doesn’t go over her head – matter of fact, she’s quite proficient in it and likes to use her sarcasm to cheer other people up rather than tear other people down. On the same thread of obliviousness, Sylvie can sometimes accidentally hurt her friends by ignoring their feelings due to the fact that she’s very self-involved. She’s not selfish, she doesn’t do things specifically for her advantage, but she tends to get caught up in her feelings and thoughts rather than pay attention to others’. Though Sylvie is bad at being there when her friends are hurt, she makes up for it in her support – if her friend has an aspiration, Sylvie will support them to hell high and will even go up and out of her way to make sure it happens.

Her world tends to be of the frivolous sort, as she tends to focus on the unimportant things and be absorbed by trivial gossip – which Sylvie hears a lot about, considering she enjoys being in other people’s business. Melodramatic is a word that could describe Sylvie as she tends to overreact to other people and is hot-headed, easily-upset, and easily-impressed and all sorts of other emotional problems.

Being born into such a large family obviously means that living expenses are, well, expensive – luckily for Sylvie, her family happens to be practically made of money. Her parents’ wealth is a combination of her father’s inheritance money and her mother’s hard-earned income from her electronics company. Silent, calm, and mysterious are the best way to describe her. She doesn't like to talk about herself, and she doesn't like to talk about others either. She prefers to watch things unfold from the sidelines instead of being the center of attention herself. She shies away from social interaction, though this does not make her timid. Indeed, she will glare daggers at you if you become annoying to her.

Biography:
Born as the daughter of a minor noble, she was born to a mage father and a familiar mother. Mages and their familiars falling in love weren't exactly a strange occurrence, and her parents were one of those couples. Her family was very happy about this, especially her mother who had expected her daughter to be another familiar like her. "A little switcharound," she said. She then said that she expected her to marry his future male familiar to make it even, which made her blush since she had no experience with boys whatsoever, let alone thinking of marrying one.

She soon received some introductory magic education by her parents. Introductory, because a mage couldn't really develop their true potential without a familiar they were bonded with. And for that, she had to wait until she entered the academy. Thankfully, she gladly received the education shoved onto her, as she herself loved magic. It was the only thing that kept her from dying from boredom, as she was a frail child, and she had to be homeschooled as a result.

Biography: Felicity was born two hours before her younger brother, Montgomery, to Familiar parents, Herbert and Batyah Goldberg. The pair owned a high end jewelry store in Maefeld, and were rather well off, thanks to Herbert’s parents and the shop. Felicity was born with a severe cleft palate defect on her upper lip, which was corrected with surgery at 12 weeks. However, the surgery left a noticeable scar on her upper lip, one that Felicity would only grow more and more self conscious of as she grew up.

The scar haunted her. It was all she could see. Every time she looked in the mirror, it was there. It grew bigger and deeper in her eyes, turning into nightmares of festering wounds and the scar tearing open her face. Eventually, the nightmares progressed so much, that therapy was discussed as an option, and Felicity’s mother tried to soothe the girl’s fear of appearing in public by putting coverup on the scar.

It worked like a charm. Makeup quickly became Felicity’s coping mechanism, covering up her scars, freckles, and blemishes. While her mother only let her use foundation until she was 10, Felicity wanted more, and with her first allowance, bought her own makeup kit. She became unable to detach herself from her makeup, she felt incomplete without it. It was the only thing that stopped her from feeling ugly, worthless, and without a place. She loved the attention she got for her looks, and started to feel that if anyone saw her without her makeup, all the love, friendship, and affection would go away.

When she turned 15, the twins decided they wanted to go to St. Fortuna’s. Or rather, Monty decided, and Felicity agreed, not wanting to be separated from her twin. St. Fortuna’s could help her discover her magic type and perhaps be a step up to the famed Maefeld Design School, a must-attend exclusive college for anyone who wants a career in fashion. Felicity’s dream is to become a fashion designer and own her own boutique, and even makes and designs her own clothes. She’s happy to share fashion and makeup tips with anyone who wants them.

Biography
Anelise was born on a breezy autumn day. Her mother was a Familiar, unemployed at the time, and a subject of hushed whispers among the uptight mage community her father had been raised in. It was that day the denizens of the neighborhood softened up to Anelise’s mother, as she flaunted the wrinkled newborn with a sense of pride. Two days after the decidedly joyous occasion, Anelise would make her first trip to the lavish townhouse she would know as home. As the years passed, Anelise grew up alongside her peers. Her mother made more friends throughout their community, and her father made the sparse moments they shared quite special.

It was a year before Anelise started school that her storybook life began crumbling around her. One of her mother's closest male ‘friends' visited more and more frequently. He was rich, even more so than her father. He was also full of charm, and called Anelise princess at times. What disturbed Anelise the most, however, was his mother's interest in showing him their bedroom when her father wasn't around. She told her father one evening as he was reading her a bedtime story, and while his face fell, he seemed unsurprised. He explained to her that night, things were about to change, and change they would.

The divorce was bloody, her mother -who had packed her bags and partially moved in with her boyfriend the day her father suggested divorce- constantly bickered with her father. On the day of court, she screamed incessantly that Anelise’s father was unfit for custody. Her father, calm and collected as usual, eventually won the case. He acquired full custody over Anelise, though he agreed that on holidays she would be allowed to go out with her mother. Life went more smoothly from then on, though Anelise was often lonely in her home. She had a nanny, but even she came and went. She participated in after school activities, but when she went home she was surrounded by quiet. She never really enjoyed it, but rather got accustomed to It. To make the house louder, and preserve her sanity, she would blast the stereo and sing.

At the ripe age of fourteen, her father decided enough was enough. He didn't want his daughter to become introverted, and it was about this age when he himself joined the Academy. After pulling a few strings, and convincing Anelise that this was the right thing, she was accepted. She was in love with the place, and at the end of her first year she decided she would love to attend yet again.

Personality: Monty is a very caring and kind individual. He is very extroverted, and a people person at heart. He has a very strong need to nurture others and make them happy. He is a very protective person, and will put himself in danger for those he feels a responsibility for, including strangers. He is very serious about his responsibilities, and he is very dependable for advice or just emotional comfort. He is the very essence of a dad friend, complete with bad puns and refusing to look at maps. He gets most of his personal satisfaction from making others happy, and would give the shirt off his back if it meant someone else benefited. He has a very strong sense of justice, and dislikes discrimination of any kind. Monty likes having a plan in place and sticking to strategy, but he is not inflexible. He is a peacemaker, and dislikes arguments or confrontation, although he is not afraid of it. He is warm and sympathetic, and tries his best to cheer people up. He has a habit of seeing the good in most people, but he disagrees with criminal actions very much. He is also very shy and flustered around mature topics or when being flirted with.

Monty is not without flaws though. His trust in authority can lead him to be blind to it’s flaws, and his need to help others can lead to manipulation. He's also very stubborn on things he's passionate about. He’s also a bit of a ‘prude’ at times, and kind of a huge hypocrite about certain things. Monty struggles with both a guilt complex and self esteem issues. The guilt complex comes from his inability to help his sister, failing her in his mind. This causes his belief that if he's not actively helping others, he is useless, which is part of his passion about his future career in the police force.

Biography: Monty was born in Maefeld, to Herbet and Batyah Goldberg. His parents raised him and his twin sister, Felicity, in a penthouse in a fairly nice neighborhood. Monty spent most of his childhood sticking to his sister, constantly trying to reassure her of her beauty. This however meant that he failed to make many real friends elsewhere, leading to him being dependent on Felicity, as well as very excited about making new friends, to the point where he overlooks red flags in favor of acceptance. He feels incredibly guilty for his sister’s downwards spiral, blaming himself for not doing more to comfort her, and most of his early childhood was spent with a lingering feeling of helplessness in that regard. He was excited when his sister was able to feel confident with makeup, but he realized that her dependence on it was still ultimately damaging to her self image. He feels helpless in that aspect, as he can’t say anything that will make his sister see herself as others see her. This causes him to be very protective of not only his sister, but others with low self esteem.

He got the scar on his lip when he was 8. He decided that in order to show solidarity to his sister, he should give himself a scar there too. He tried using a rock, and ended up knocking his front teeth out. He got the scar though, so even though he was crying and in pain, he still managed to excitedly show his sister. She was not impressed.

Monty was raised by his parents to be a ‘gentleman’, for lack of a better word. He and his sister were taught about the importance of kindness and politeness, and he takes those teachings to heart. Monty became very interested in the justice system, and decided from an early age he wanted to be a part of it. He dreams of being able to protect people from others and themselves. Monty knew that St. Fortuna’s Academy is the best high school in all of Prydain, and he decided that if he wanted to make a difference in the world he would have to get into St. Fortuna’s. He works very hard to keep his grades up and his record clean. When Felicity decided to enroll with him, he was excited for both of them. This way his sister could flourish, and he would be able to keep an eye on her.

Description: Regis takes great care of his appearance and hygiene, especially with his deep black hair, which he keeps tied up in a ponytail several centimeters past his shoulder level, with bangs evenly parted down the center of his forehead. Dark brown skin and an almost obsessive need to not show any blemishes on it, Regis outright uses makeup to hide any freckles or marks. His eyes are a dark hazel, with a fairly slender face, with small ears and thin jawline. Rarely will you not see some form of smug smile etched on his face. Despite his grandiose nature, Regis stands rather short at 5'2" with a slim frame and no noticeable muscles. He doesn't think much of this, and will claim that he is still growing.

Personality: The very model of a sheltered rich kid, Regis is naively pompous, obliviously insensitive and whilst he is far from stupid or incompetent, he vastly over-estimates his own intelligence and abilities. However, Regis is not so much intentionally rude as he is severely lacking in real life social skills. Due to his upbringing he just never quite understood subtle social queues or what is considered acceptable behaviour, meaning that he can often be blissfully unaware of the nature of his actions. He will mock people whilst thinking it to be chummy banter between close pals, even if he barely knows the person he's talking to. Despite his behaviour, Regis absolutely loves working with people. He enjoys nothing more than the concepts of camaraderie and friendship, and was highly confused when his first year at a real school resulted in absolutely none of that.

Why, if he didn't know any better, he would have thought that nobody liked him!

Biography: Born in Lynden as the only child of a wealthy executive and businessman, Regis was doted on for most of his life by parents and maids that were hell-bent on hammering home just how grand and better than anyone else the Dimitrios family is, and by association, Regis. While homeschooled for most of his life, it wasn't so much that Regis never had a chance to make friends, rather that he ruined every opportunity given to him by being an obnoxious, self-aggrandizing brat. His parents or maids would try to bring him to sports clubs or games clubs to meet some friends, but his go-to conversation starter seemed to default to 'Wow, my parents are so much better than yours, aren't they?' meaning his stay at those clubs always seemed to fall short of expectations. Whenever there was even the slightest bit of doubt of his own greatness, his parents were there to dash those fears and reinforce his family's narcissism.

He always knew he would be going to St. Fortuna's Academy one day, though. After all, considering how important his parents are, he would require an education befitting that at some point. Whilst his parents have high hopes for him, and Regis for himself, he genuinely does not know what he wants to do with himself, nor does he seem to care that much. He knows he'll figure that out eventually, so his main goal is trying to understand why nobody can seem to stand his presence.

Regis would never be so careless as to forget something crucial, therefore, if he did forget something, he must not have really needed it in the first place! He would continue onwards and be very confused when the teacher gets angry.

A majestic bald eagle... is probably what he would respond with, but he'd actually turn into a house cat.

Being about the same as everyone from what Elijah considers as 'everyone', he stands at a height of 5'11 and weighs about 175 pounds comfortably with his total stature. Possessing a slightly athletic build which makes up his body from his toes and leading up to his head with the rough signs of facial hair coming in through his angular jaw that is overshadowed by his blonde hair. Generally, being a guy who is pretty well-kept with his hygiene and clothing which mostly comes out of the good habit of being clean like any normal person does, it's just that he takes the extra 20 minutes. It often leaves him smelling warm almost like faint notes of cinnamon whenever he isn't covering it up or overpowering it with other products that he uses. If you somehow get under the layers of clothing that he wears, you can find out he interestingly has a tattoo of a bird for a person of his age that is covered up most of the time. Wrapping his own appearance up with his respectable wardrobe, that is tailored to different styles of clothing which he freely changes from day to day depending on what the person in the mirror feels like wearing that day that works on him (at least when he isn't wearing the uniforms). That doesn't mean he can change up the school's dress code a little, so long as he checks out all the things on the list before doing so.

Elijah just sees himself as a person who is just playing the game that life truly is, seeing the lines that connect everything together. Seeing the tropes and stereotypes played out in reality, he find himself assimilating with a few categories that he never expected to mesh together so well. Being a fairly outgoing guy which knits his entire package together on what someone could suspect what would be inside. With his general personality being quite open, he is someone to go for the fun and party that he can get started even if it's just a small group enjoying themselves. He simply just knows how to unwind at the end of the day before settling back down to handle business again at the start of the day.

Moving back to his normal everyday duties, he is a surprisingly perceptive person who utilizes it fully with his sociable personality to make the most of it. Being a guy who likes to flirt and toss witty remarks at people whether its get through to them or hits their thick skull which he finds as something fun. Elijah was born into a family who was dedicated to the Kingdom of Prydain, with both of his parents committing their lives to the military. Being born into a family of minor notice except for the titles that were granted to them that formally made them as nobles. His father was a doctor who used healing magic along with more traditional medicine practices while his mother was a familiar that had excellent abilities in the diagnosis of a patient's health. Together the two made a great pair that worked hand-in-hand with each other in the work that they did and wasn't a surprise when they married each other. They raised Elijah to the best of their abilities and wanted to him do well in life, passing on their experience and advice to him as he grew up. Doing their best to expose him to the many things that life would throw at him, they took him around the Kingdom of Prydain and visited many places that they had went before. Sometimes they traveled comfortably into the cities that they passed by as they went through the bustling residential and commercial areas but other times they roughed it out when they went off into the wilds for the appreciation of nature in the woods or mountains.

To say the least, it wasn't unexpected that his two parents would try to also introduce magic to Elijah as well and pushed what they could try to teach him without a familiar. The bare bones and foundations that they could scrape up before he could enter the academy with a little pinch of a head start that they could get. It was quite fun for Elijah to learn what his parents could do and what he was going to be able to do as well when he entered the academy. However, it was not a problem for his parents as the had many other things to teach to their son besides magic, like good manners or expanding on his academics.

By the time Elijah had entered the academy, he was an energetic student when he entered the academy as one of the new kids who enrolled at the school. Traveling around the Kingdom of Prydain, he hadn't made many friends who would be coming to St. Fortuna's Academy and doubted he would remember anyone or vice versa. It would be a new experience for him as he'd get to interact with his peers in a controlled environment which was different from the outside world. Then there was also the fact that this was what his parents were talking to him nonstop about, as he would get to enjoy the experience of learning magic and meeting his familiar that he would be intertwined with. With all of these things in mind, he crossed his fingers and hope that his years at the academy would be great before he graduated.

A career? Your funny, Elijah isn't going to settle down and have a career to stay in once place, No, he is going to work only enough so that he can travel the world! He even has it planned out to be a foreign language teacher and teach at schools for the downtime that he has between his various travels around the world. Elijah would avoid being caught cheating or telling a lie, but assuming that he was caught then whoever noticed would be someone pretty interesting to Elijah. They'd have to dig pretty deep and understand the inner workings of him to pick out something like a lie or find him cheating. Depending on what he is lying on, if its something small, then he'd blow it off as a joke and deflect some of the attention off him while admitting that he was in the wrong.

Elijah would forgive them as he finds friends and family are important and valuable to have in someone's life. Little mistakes can be brushed away as human flaws that make the person them, and Elijah understands that for even he surprisingly has flaws too just like them. A betrayal would be met with the same reaction but he would never forget it, as earning his trust to only grab a dagger to stab him in the back is something he prefers not to let go easily. Like they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. What does that mean when they are both?

4. If your character were given $50, what would they do with it?

Money earned is something Elijah would gladly take for he worked hard for it, if it was freely given to him then the same would occur but he would feel 'indebted' to whoever gave him the money. He would work off those $50 in any way he can until he felt like he paid them back in equal value to his services. Either way at the end of the day, he'd save it for a rainy day to enjoy it with people when he cracks the piggy bank! (Or you know... save it for something bigger instead of being a compulsive buyer).

5. Someone close to your character gives them something very important and asks them to hold on to it until they come back. However, your character somehow loses it. What do they do?

He probably would had a nervous breakdown to himself as he frantically looks for it, to lose somebody's trust is close to dying as it is. He wouldn't show it but he'd had probably lost some sleep searching for it and a replacement closest to it if he couldn't. If he failed to do that as well, he'd loathed his existence as a human for failing to do something simple like not losing something and apologize to his friend. Post-depression is a highly expected forecast for him afterward.

Understanding the world and learning every language he possibly can be his choice, as he would be happy to break down barriers that separate people from each other. Learning the languages of other people would help him be more immersed in the world as he finds such things interesting. To know what the elegant sentences that other people say in other languages mean would be a great experience for him and respond back would be even greater.

Elijah likes foreign works for the different perspective he is given to other cultures around the world compared to his own. Whenever he isn't watching something in a different language, he prefers the good old action or sci-fi movies that are interesting to watch for their interesting plot-lines and character. This also loops in dramas as well being another genre that he likes to watch on occasion if he likes the character and plot that is developing around them.

Everyone around Elijah is the people that he aspires to be, taking each other their individual traits that he likes and incorporates them into himself the best that he can. The smart kid who knows everything, sure he may be annoying at times but he knows his stuff so Elijah would stay around him. The guy good at sports, sure he just has to dedicate more time to improving himself and practicing to get as good as them. Marth on his surface can be known to be a very aloof person, when he meets someone new he likes to observe and analyze ones personality before deciding whether or not to interact with them, he can also be blunt at times since he doesn't like sugar coating much at all. It takes a little bit for him to warm up but once he sees you as a friend, he is a loyal one, he will stand up for his friends and himself if they are being troubled by others. When he gets comfortable with someone his friendly side is exposed and he jokes around, laughs, and smiles more, he will always have his friends back and will make sure they are in good condition. when Marth is angry he tends to black out and will rampage recklessly with little concern for his self. Biography

The Carter family, a well known guild that steadily produced many proficient and great mages and familiars. Marths father who is the leader of the Carter families guild is a strict man who expects the most out of his children as he raises them to be the next leaders of the Carter family guild.

Marth is born 5th out of 8 kids, when he was young his mother died while she was on a contract. since a young age he has been training to prepare his body and mind for when he manifests his ability. Despite not having his power he as proficiebt fighting ability and reflexes because of his fathers personal tutoring. Korrey towers over most people at a rather annoying height of 6’6, having exploded into this height after finally getting regular meals and a well-balanced diet. His body figure is lean, but with some musculature as he has spent a good deal of his life working out in some shape or form, though it’s only in the last 4 years that he’s gotten proper direction. He bares a few scars on his body from both training and sports accidents, though the damage sustained was nothing that couldn’t be fixed with good, old-fashioned rest and some slightly generous applications of healing magic. When allowed to dress in his own style, he tends to go for loose fitting tees, jackets, sneakers, and jeans as well as finger-less gloves so that he can give his hands some measure of protection without losing out on his ability to grip things(plus he thinks they look cool). He also wears sunglasses nearly all the time during the day, as the awakening of his ability has made life a complete and utter pain due to his newfound sensitivity to light. Of course doing so, while hiding his weird colored eyes, has the adverse effect of making him like a bit of an asshole if people don’t know about his condition.

Personality: Generally described as ‘upbeat’, ‘happy’, and ‘only scary on the outside’, Korrey is a happy-go-lucky guy who is always willing to give people the benefit of the doubt, even when it may go against his better judgement. Not only that, but Korrey can also be described as a bit of an adrenaline junkie, always on the look-out for the next new and exciting stunt or event to catch his eye.
Biography: Korrey came from a little less than nothing, a street urchin from Erridún struggling to make ends meet, while also doing his pest to not get dragged into picking-pockets for the local crime bosses of his district, though that led to many a day with little in his gut but bile, stomach acid, and hopelessness. Still, dire as his circumstances were, he never let it get to him. He always tried to keep his mind focused on the positives, convinces that his luck would change any day. And one day, they did just that, as he did managed to get into a nice boarding school after stopping some old man from getting attacked in the street from some thugs by making it seem like the police were on there way, then helping the old man get back on his feet.

That old man, he’d later find out, was the grandfather of one of the bigger crime family heads, who soon took Korrey in after hearing about his good deed. Being 12 years old at the time, Korrey fortunes took a swift turn as his patron quickly sought to cleaning him up and giving him an education in exchange for saving his duly respected grandfather. It was during these four years that it’d be made clear that Korrey was quite the talented student, quick on the upkeep whether it be his studies or sports. The only place where he seemed to struggle was using his abilities. Even for a Familiar without a Mage, his displays of power were considerably pitiful. Still, with years of catching up to do, he showed a strange, single minded-determination to succeed, wanting to prove his patron proud, even if he didn’t approve of their less-than-legal business ventures. No matter how well hidden his patron tried to keep their criminal activties from the boy, he was able to soon pick out the pieces and fit them into a proper picture. However, he never let on to it, nor informed the police or Adventure guilds of his knowledge. A good citizen is what Korrey always strived to be, but what kind of man would he be if he turned in the man who had given him some many opportunities, as well as a huge family to call his own.

Throw both his work ethic, determination, and skill, and his patron’s wide wealth of resources and favors, Korrey managed to make it into St. Fortuna, though to say his first year was a bit of a challenge would be an understatement. Not only were the courses extremely difficult, but the culture shock hit him like a bus, with many of the other kids being somewhat put off by his tendency to curse, make the occasional offensive joke, and over-all casual nature for which he seemed to treat everything. As such, he barely managed to pass through his first year, but instead of discouraging him, he simply let it all roll of his back, determined to make this next go around a hell of a lot better.

Personality: Don't let Nancy's outward appearance fool you, despite looking like she wants to beat you up and steal your lunch money, Nancy's a pretty chill girl. In fact, she's the type to happily give you some baked goods that she made with a smile. Nancy can also be a bit lazy at times, and though she doesn't mind to help people out, she won't exactly be the first to jump up to help unless it's something serious. About the only place you'll see a serious Nancy is in the kitchen when she's cooking or baking as those are her passions in life.

Biography: If Nancy's family had a family crest, instead of lions or a dragon, it would have cooking utensils. That's because for as long back as any of them can remember, Nancy's family has always been cooks. About 4 generations ago, her family opened a small restaurant in the middle of Lynden and although it wasn't a 5-star restaurant by the time Nancy was born, it was a well-loved place by the locals. Nancy was taught at a young age to cook (which she quickly fell in love with) and was expected to take the restaurant over one day.

Wanting to see Nancy reach her full potential, Rasmodius offered to sponsor Nancy to go to St. Fortuna. His reasons for this was that magic grown fruits and vegetables were becoming more popular, and a cook that possessed that sort of magic would quite possibly rise in popularity quickly. Nancy still wasn't sure, though, but her parents eventually persuaded her to take Rasmodius up on his offer.
