Updated Nimmie's sheet with more details on her weapons and backstory. The bio is a little oblique, I know, but hopefully everyone understands what I'm trying to get at with her backstory so I don't have to write something twice as long to explain it without the Oz metaphors xD
@Turboshitter Yes, I'm still here. I got sick a few days ago- I apologize for the delay. Here's what I have so far. I've got notes for the missing parts on a sheet of paper and my test thread, just have to copy it down. Working on the bio right now.
MAIN THEME SONG
APPEARANCE
Her physical features and faunus qualities are based off this lil' dog. To distinguish her animal as a dog in the first place, she acquired its brown tail.
Here are her paw pads (the amalgamate/middle hand and foot pads). Unfortunately, there's more than a few animals that have similar paw pads, which is why Wyca was provided with a tail.
She has deep, darkish green eyes, and a splash of freckles across her nose. Her body is a tad short for her age, and her hair is medium length.

AURA / SEMBLANCE
Her aura's colour is a dark, intense shade of blueish-purple, similar (if not the same) to the colour used for Wyca's name up at the top. This.
Cybercaper A handy semblance that may be an offensive or defensive move, or neither, this allows Wyca to slip through technology. For instance, camera systems, computer systems, and scrolls. It's really a lively dance, as opposed to 'silently slipping in', thus explaining the 'caper' part of the name. If there is some sort of hindrance - defense systems, firewalls, viruses, etc. - she must think rapidly in order to elude those, hopping around inside the targeted technology. Wyca's personality lines up well with this. Depending on the path she takes through it, Wyca may choose to pay enough attention to her "surroundings" to gain information inside. She could reprogram it (change the code). However, the longer she remains inside her victim, the higher stakes rise. Tripping up means the technology recognizes her as a hostile intruder. It can harm her physically and/or mentally; that is unique to each situation, although, again, that one thing is the same... if discovered, drastic/major injuries are determined by the longer time spent inside. Other possible dangers include the technology being shut off or shut down completely from outside. In this scenario, Wyca is quite literally trapped inside. Her first step is always to code in an air supply. There is limited space for her to move around. That's why it's better to be near the 'core', or where most of the controls are near when this happens. Good thing she's not claustrophobic. Still, coding the system to turn on takes a tremendously long time and causes small to medium-sized permanent scars on her skin. Large-sized scars only occur if the technology is broken or crushed, from outside as well. Wyca pops out from where she was lingering inside at that moment. That's the physical pain. The mental consequence is drowsiness. Because the technology is 'sleeping', Wyca has to also fend off sleep. This is the mental downsides during a technological shut down/off.
Her semblance is something Wyca can improve on. She tests things out while programming and fiddling around with technology, and uses knowledge earned there when diving inside. Focus is another aspect of Wyca's semblance that can be worked on. To enter the desired technology, Wyca focuses her mind on getting in, picturing herself already wading inside all the code. She's trying to refine her skills with completing this process quicker.
PERSONALITY (At least a paragraph)
[quick notes: Runs on trust and respect, but understands other people run on other core values Mischievous Very patient Humble Understanding Fairly Social Wyca has extreme firm trust in her closest friends & family, which is why she is barely affected by threats toward them. Part of it also is that she tends to think with her brain instead of her heart; that doesn't mean she's cold, she simply "logics" things out. She won't mind assisting them; she just doesn't, or hardly, react when they're threatened. (Explain negatives to this.) Although she obeys to rules in general, she doesn't mind breaking the smaller ones. If it's an emergency though, she'll break larger rules without a problem. She pictures her "relationship" with rules as a simple handshake, befriending them... not overdoing it towards any of the two extremes, like one would do to a friend. Respect. This character heavily revolves around proving/making people listen or realize that she isn't the problem, the system is. Quirk: Collects lots of random things, since that's related to "catching", after all. Skill: Good at hiding in plain sight. Good at reading people.]
BIO (1-3 paragraphs)
Bizarre describes Wyca's family fairly well. Technically, that would be two families.
Legend says that once upon a time there was a dog Faunus and a fox Faunus. The former was smitten the latter upon having been partnered up temporarily for an errand at work. Classic, yes? He had been sent to fetch her after the assignment finished, since his canine family was all about trust and loyalty, and supported his decision to court her. Inevitably, flaws bloomed in the dog Faunus' dream of a marriage. For one thing, this particular part-fox's family was...rather shady. Mysterious. Those folks were known for their clever instinct. Not to mention they were experts at escaping. He wasn't keen on attempting to befriend them, straight from the beginning. Smart dog- his strategy, not so much. Slowly but surely, the plan sought to distance the fox Faunus and her family. Possibly by causing her to adore his own family until she scarcely spoke to hers. Her sly nature slipped past his mind. Then one day, they were both held up in an town. The town resided on an island. A severe hurricane warning was going to storm past (pardon the pun) the border facing the continent it belonged to. He caught up to the female Faunus, who was less experienced at escaping than her elders, and informed her of his intentions.
"Hmm... let me think... welllll, would you look at that. I'd rather not," drawled the fox Faunus. His ears drooped. "I'm sorry, but this isn't a choice, you'll have to. I'm taking you with me. You'll adore my family, I promise, love," said he.
She smirked. He swooned. Offering her nimble hand, she smoothly proceeded, deciding she liked his optimistic spirit- just a tiny bit. "I'll spin you a deal. I'll travel with you." A pause for dramatic effect. The part-dog held his breath. "Only if you agree to making our families eternally linked." And so they left the town, a compromise reached, each with satisfied thoughts churning in their head. The town was called Wycanwyndeaux.
Growing up, Wyca had been born into the dog family. They weren't particularly wealthy, but it turned out the two families supported each other well, especially when they weren't quarreling, which was merely a third of the time now. As a result, both sides had enough money and resources to not starve every month. And if they did, it was once per year or two years, no more. Anyway. Both her parents were different kinds of Faunus, and she was also an only child. Although her mother was born and bred in Vacuo, her father was originally from Mistral, so he had creative blood running though his veins for sure. Wyca's mother was quite an artistic Faunus herself, too.
But even these firm kinds of families can be chopped. Forever. Her mother died. Her father became a widower quicker than a shake of Wyca's tail. She, Wyca, had lived for 13 1/2 years at that particular point in time. Three quarters of a year later (14 1/4 years old), her father more composed and recovered - but, miraculously, still very much himself, for his daughter - made the decision to send her to Atlas. He figured she would be able to spend two years and a half there to familiarize herself, and then apply. If it wasn't for his link to the large, supportive, Faunus family community, the father might've travelled to Atlas accompanying his offspring. Obviously, that wasn't the case. He remained in Vacuo to focus on training with the combat-knowledgeable family Faunus. It'd be effective, for him, since they'd train in ways specific to the Faunus, instead of normal human training he might've received if he'd gone to Atlas.
The next phase of her story. In Vale. People of this continent are known for being righteous. Then again, they always warn you: shady individuals exist anywhere...everywhere. Does that not mean that Vale, kingdom of peacemakers, has its own shady sorts? Indeed it does, and Wyca is living proof. Long story short, she found a mentor. Or rather, the mentor found her. Generally people advise one to straight out make a beeline for one's destination, halting only to eat. Wyca, however, had rough travelling that day and couldn't think clearly. She wanted answers. Keep in mind she is endlessly patient and typically humble, so this was brand-new. Not that she was aware of this fact while in her stupor. So the feminine part-dog creature investigated on information of her mother's death. Her to-be mentor stumbled upon her presence right around the time the moon was peeking out. It was a street with a handful of houses and shops. He scrutinized Wyca for the last minutes Wyca spent on the street, inquiring (mostly) friendly strangers. As she exited, he introduced himself. Time-skip forward 2 3/4 years. Wyca's still in the middle of Vale. She was supposed to have applied 1/4 of a year before. She's almost seventeen. Her mentor's five years older than her. The two of them were together for 1/2 a year now, after training Wyca for 1 1/4 years. This relationship with him is still murky, as is he. He hasn't revealed his real name to her, and Wyca knows that.
WEAPONS
Last Call ; main weapon
She named it for the irony (that's an example of her mischievousness).
Melee weapon.
Doubles as and looks like a harp. It has dog carvings and the infinity loop symbol on it.
Harp strings can combine to be used as a bow. The strings closest to her (lower strings) possess more power than the ones near the front. Power can also be gained when more strings are pulled.
With Love and Your Psychotherapist ; mini sidearms
Part of the reason she only has two of them is to be able to hold one in each hand. The other half is because of her tendency to "wing it", she refuses to carry a backup.
LIKES (At least 3)
☺ Chicken and steak ☺ Rainy weather; swimming ☺ Parties ("Thing is...you can learn a lot at them--and they're fun! Double brownie points!")
While relaxing in a building where she's temporarily staying, or her home, Wyca sets up something like the drawings beneath this. It's messy, but it's her way of chilling.
Also, I missed the color in Eadgar. Sorry. I'm assuming we have the color rule? I may have mentally added that where it wasn't.
Sorry, nearly forgot about this.
His name is a convoluted mess so I will take each part one at a time.
Eadgar is an old English version of the name Edgar. Edgar is a name that means king. Edgar is also a name for a king of some Germanic people that I can't remember the name of. I picked Eadgar because Beowolf becomes a king of the Geats.
Bjarki is the last name of another character of a different epic that some people believe was also Beowolf. In this epic he was made a king of the Geats and is the name of an actual king of the Geats as well. In this epic the guy is a spear wielder that is also a shapeshifter, but instead of a wolf he shape shifts into a bear.
Grauwulf is the combination of two different words. Grau is a Celtic word for gray and wulf is a Scottish word for wolf. Therefore, it translates to gray wolf. The gray wolf was one of the more dominate types of wolves in Scotland at the time that the epic Beowolf was believed to be written.
The main reason it's so weird was because I was having troubles finding a color to connect to Beowolf using a name stating with E, so I just used the first and middle name to allude to Beowolf and the last name to establish his color.
@EmzyOfNeverland I believe I have enough of the CS done for now, to hopefully post in the tab at least. :)
He has a unique eagle silhouette tattoo on his upper back, lower than the neck and between the shoulders. He also has a disfiguring scar traversing down the front of his body.
Name: Lloyd Lelugira Dahliall Gender: Male Age: 17 Species: Human Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual Aura: Purple Semblance: Gravitation Lloyd is able, to a significant but reasonable degree, to manipulate the extent of which the world’s gravity acts on him, from either lower than normal or higher than normal, for both heightening his jumps and amplifying his descent respectively for instance. He can also temporarily project a flat, circular gravitational field along a sizable flat surface like a wall or ceiling, said perimeters exerting a very little force on others, but allow for him to pull himself directly into it, traversing distances at potentially high speeds. Weapon:Borellese Team: VNLA Where Are They From: Mantle Personality: Ever the attempted optimist, Lloyd endeavors to see the good in nearly anyone and every situation, a desire to make things better underlining his thought process when it comes to other people’s predicaments in general. However, as trusting and as accommodating as he’d like to be, he is very particular of who he calls his friends, his unordinary loyalty far from unconditional. He has little regard for titles, ranking or prestige, growing to value the better part of a person’s character and (perceptibly) positive action over simple, “cheap” sentiment alone. In the end, so long as he’s given good enough reason, there is little he won’t do for people he trusts.
But despite his tendency towards relying on his own code or principles, Lloyd is not one to lecture people or share his inner thoughts with just anyone, an introvert to a fair degree. But his usual calm and sometimes reserved demeanor notwithstanding, he isn’t averse to company, often with a friendly bearing and a healthy sense of humor. Of course, he is by no means the most sociable person ever, large gatherings especially disengaging him from the the spotlight. Truthfully, he oddly feels more comfortable fighting Grimm than attending a formal celebration, particularly when he wants some time to himself. Bio:
Born into the decrepit slums of Mantle without parents, Lloyd’s future seemed hopelessly linked to the deteriorating signs of the once great civilization, a fate that he looked to share with many residents that could not or would not brave the frigid, perilous journey to Atlas, and even then, nothing was guaranteed. For a time, the lonesome child lived off of whatever he came across, from the scraps of food he had scavenged, to the clothes and rags that covered him while he slept. He was one of the orphaned kids that scoured in packs through the outskirts away from the capital, where the danger was high but the rewards were plentiful, relatively speaking.
There was safety in numbers, but scavenger packs rarely lasted a few weeks, members succumbing to any number of things: the elements, malnutrition, and especially Grimm, just to name a few. The little boy would have certainly met his end from such a creature if it wasn’t for the timely intervention of another orphan named Jin Tacca. From then on, Lloyd stuck close to this bold and ambitious young boy, his ideals and aspirations for greater things inspiring the trusting lad to want to follow him to the ends of the world, which really meant something given where they were. They watched each other's back, whether it was by keeping watch at night or even stealing right from under unsuspecting people's’ noses.
They had quite a talent and dexterity for picking pockets… or so it seemed until they were caught in the act by a woman named Maria Renult, a talented and fervent survivor who, rather than do away with the pair them, took the boys under her wing, somewhat appropriate phrasing given how they became the newest members of her gang, referred to as the Gale Blades, alongside quite a number of other child members. A few years past, Lloyd especially loving the safety and genuine sense of comradery, finding a mother figure in Maria, though she tended towards the “tough love” approach when dealing with everyone, who were more often than not younger than her.
Things changed however, when a scheme on Jin’s part, meant to humiliate and drive out the leader of another gang, instead prompted said leader to call upon his older brother, who came in force to wipe out the Gale Blades once and for all. Neither of the two boys will forget seeing Maria fight them off to the bitter end, buying them enough time to escape and be rescued by members belonging to Meridian, an expansive alliance of likeminded associates determined to take control of Mantle for the protection and well being of all its members.
The agents had been sent to secure the area, and would have ignored the boys if it weren’t for them claiming to know Maria, and to have had both their semblances unlocked by her. But what clinched the decision to take the young pair with them was that Maria had also apparently given each of the boys a special eagle tattoo on their back, just like hers; passing the moniker of “Lelugira” down to both of them. Legends persist of great warriors whose legacy is passed down not by blood and ancestry, but by spirit and skill, a legacy that transcends even race. Maria was widely believed to be the last “Lelugira”, she having received the title from a renowned faunus soldier.
Over the next several years, Lloyd and Jin both worked their way up the ranks of Meridian, operating and living within the fairly safer capital city. Lloyd proved himself a capable defender against the marauding Grimm that frequently attacked the syndicate's outlying operations and settlements, while Jin grew into his role of ensuring the smooth operation and order of the organization’s various ventures, whatever it took. In time, the boys were so distinguished in their respective areas, that they eventually rose even further until finding themselves within Meridian’s inner circle, answerable only to the leader of Meridian, a kindly yet formidable old faunus, The Apex.
Over the years, Lloyd continued to trust in Jin, at the same time coming to regard the entire syndicate as his family, which he believed he’d go to any length to protect. However, even he underestimated Jin’s ambition and the lengths he’d go. Taking advantage of his own influence, Jin incited a sizable membership, even from among the inner circle, to ally themselves with him, leaving only Lloyd to decide where the allegiances of him and his powerful defense team lied. In the end, Dahliall tried his best to talk his best friend out of inciting the deaths of hundreds, but it was to no avail; nothing was going to stop Jin from taking Meridian by force, not even his best.
A terrible duel ensued, but as it looked as though Lloyd had the upper hand, he couldn’t bring himself to kill him, instead deciding to smash Jin’s sword to pieces. Feigning surrender, Tacca waited till Lloyd let his guard down before exposing a dagger, slashing it diagonally across his chest down to his abdomen, Dahliall blacking out soon after. When he had reawakened days later, Lloyd was bandaged up and a part of a refugee caravan destined for Atlas, the young man miraculously found following his fight and loaded on one of the many convoys formed as a last ditch effort to escape Jin’s bloody takeover of Meridian.
Stubbornly pushing himself instead of recuperating while Grimm assaulted the refugees and a final time when the caravan reached the Atlas border during a skirmish between a security patrol and a pack of Beowolfs, all instances saw him rise to battle carrying the Borellese, a weapon that was transported along with him, courtesy of The Apex himself. It was at that last battle that a colonel took notice of Lloyd’s fighting talents, encouraging and even sponsoring his admittance into Atlas Academy.

Appearance: (Planning on drawing Nephex and her weapon; will hopefully update with a picture soon) The first thing one would notice about Nephex isn't her face. Many people don't particularly notice much about her appearance when they see the wings affixed to her back. The extra appendages that are courtesy of her Faunus heritage are typically drawn in as much as possible as though trying to appear smaller and escape from the watchful eyes of others. With a wing span equal in width to her arm span, charcoal feathers serve as a stark contrast to pallid skin. Fiery hair curls about her head in a wild and untamed manner with black feathers caught in between spiral strands. Light grey spheres rest on either side of a nose dotted with a myriad of freckles.
Nephex's attire consists of a red duster with an emblem on the upper right depicting an orange silhouette of a moth leaving a trail of flame. On the opposite side, a pauldron rests over her left shoulder. The duster is worn over a yellow jumper with an ammo belt slung around her waist like a belt to store small thermally insulated canisters that clip into place via a groove on them. Fingerless gloves and knee high boots complete her ensemble, bearing her signature orange color.
Name: Nephex; Nephrite Expedita
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Species: Faunus (Tanager)
Aura: Orange
Semblance: Hypnosis Pinion enables the user to hypnotize opponents through her aura touching them. However she does this by focusing her aura into her the arrows of her crossbow, and daggers/Gladius. Since archery requires more concentration, it is more taxing on her than through use of her more ranged weaponry. The hypnosis makes her targets more impressionable, and may result in changes to their perception of their surroundings. Nephex currently uses this to induce opponents into thinking that they are moving more quickly than they actually are, or may cause them to fixate on her. Weapon: Cinnaburn is crossbow with arms that curve to create the shape of a moth. The crossbow is double barreled and the barrels are meant for holding Burn Dust which may be used in conjunction with the bolts fired at her opponents. Blades are attached to the arms when the weapon is in this position. Cinnaburn is able to contract its arms in order to create a Gladius dubbed Sulphure. Her weapon is then able to pull apart to create two daggers, Ignis and Avem.
Sexual Orientation: Demisexual; Not specifically attracted to a particular gender/sex
Team: VNLA
Where Are They From: Atlas
Personality: On the surface, Nephex often concerns herself with being a burden to others. She is inclined to refrain from providing any indication that something is bothering her, but it is more so because she puts little trust in others. However, she is likely to say that opening up to others will weigh them down. She is likely to pitch herself as someone that is eager to listen to others in an attempt to lighten their burden. This is reflected by an interest in others which she will insist is indicative of wanting to get to know someone, but her inquisitive nature is usually linked to some ulterior motive. Nephex has a desire for knowledge of all kinds, but that knowledge is something that she may ultimately use to manipulate situations to her benefit. Although she may try to get to know other people, she is very guarded when it comes to information about herself. Nephex is reluctant to talk about herself. Her reasoning might be that others are fascinating while her own life is trivial and boring, but it is more so because there is information which she prefers to keep private while simultaneously becoming dubious of anyone that wants to know more about her.
One of Nephex's few redeeming traits would be her obedience and loyalty. In spite of her deceptive nature, she seems to have no difficulty in taking direction from others. However, this only really comes in to play when it comes to fighting and training. Nephex is known to be quite hot tempered, and she can be particularly defensive of her Faunus heritage. She is likely to lash out at anyone that attempts to touch her wings without permission. However, she attempts to adopt a stoic demeanor. Although she is private, she is quite expressive with her emotions and has been told that people know what she is feeling at any given moment. Although her base emotions are quite evident, she is very tight-lipped about the reasons why and has no difficulty lying if she thinks it is warranted.
Bio: Nephex was raised in Atlas where she was abandoned by her parents. Having never seen a bird Faunus, she's never been able to so much as speculate about who her parents might be. This is likely because she grew up in an area that is fairly absent when it comes to Faunus. Unlike the other orphans that Nephex grew up around, she has never had a desire to track down her family. Regardless of their reasons for abandoning her, she can't fathom understanding them or forgiving them. Due to her abandonment, Nephex puts little trust in others. The Faunus has little experience with interacting with other people in a proper social context.
A thirst for knowledge and desire to learn more about the world of Remnant is part of what lead to Nephex attending Atlas Academy, albeit a small part. Dealing with prejudice against Faunus throughout her life has lead to her resenting the military, the government, and everything it stands for. Even though she isn't part of the White Fang, she supports the current movement. When the children of the orphanage were encouraged to join Atlas Academy as part of it's military efforts, she was hesitant because of the way that she viewed it. Her decision to enroll as a student was ultimately reached not by the decision to use her information to lead a rebellion against Atlas. Rather, she intends to climb the military ranks and gain recognition in hopes that it will alter the way people think about Faunus.
Likes:
Fussing over her feathers
Acquisition of knowledge
Science
Animals
Dislikes:
Losing feathers or having them ruffled
Being touched without permission
Placing trust in other people
Talking about her own personal matters
Strengths:
Agility - If it wasn't for her agility, Nephex wouldn't have as much value during combat. Her speed is what makes her capable of standing a chance against her stronger opponents.
Obedient - Although she doesn't trust others; she doesn't hesitate to follow direction from others and places her team above her self interests on the battle field.
Receptive - Takes constructive criticism well, but only when it pertains to tips on her fighting style and the ways in which she uses her weapon and semblance.
Inquisitive - Eager to learn. This goes hand in hand with her ability to take constructive criticism to some extent. If not for her desire to learn, she would probably be less interested in taking advice from others.
Ambitious – Determined to emerge as victorious despite whatever difficulties she might face.
Weaknesses:
Frail – Having more of an average body build is equated with a lack of muscle that would allow her to be more capable in close ranged combat.
Vulnerable – Wears little more than a pauldron on her shoulder in terms of armor, and doesn't wield a shield which makes her an open target.
Distrustful – A lack of placing trust in others makes it difficult to form meaningful bonds with others.
Reckless – Unless given direction in a fight, she's inclined to fight without a strategy in mind.
Trackable - Cautious of her feathers during a battle, but refrains from tending to them in situations where it is unwarranted. This makes her easier to track because she may leave a trail of feathers in her wake.
Hey, I'm still here. I was going to make a character based off of Beowulf, but then Eadgar was made, so I've been taking a bit longer to switch up the character. Don't worry, I'm working on it! I'm basing the new character off of Sinbad the Sailor.
