~I am working on improving my writing skills and so I have decided that I will write some short stories. Some will be only a scene and others will be several posts long. If you want to ask and join me in a story that would be fantastic. I intend to put my characters in some very out of the normal situations so that I can expand my horizons so to speak. Be warned that my characters will not always react like me at all and if one of them is cruel or racist or believes in weird and heinous things that this is NOT how I feel personally. ~

*Please come in and write your own short stories to keep your creative juices flowing when you get bored with an rp. It just may stimulate your next post in there and keep your thread alive.

**After writing your short please place a title at the top of the post so it is easily found and discernible from others' posts.

***Please ask to join me in a story in the OOC. Character sheets are not necessary but if you want to add one if we are writing together then feel free to add one.


1. Don't be a jerk!
2. Constructive Criticism is ok if done kindly.
3. If you have a problem with someone take it to PM or talk to me in PM and we'll figure it out.
4. There are no posting rules as far as how often you can post. If you write 5 stories in one day one after another that is fine.
5. Collaborations with others are absolutely loved but give credit to all writers involved.
6. I will even state the obvious. You must follow the guild's rules.
I will add more if I see fit to.

I thought so. :) It's just so easy to get into a rut when we write that we, unwittingly, write similar things over and over. I've decided to try different genres and expand my mind with out of my comfort zone situations in here. I would suggest it. It's kind of freeing.

I don't watch horrors because they scare me and so I am giving it a shot to write some horror scenes and my sister suggested writing a mystery and I was thinking ghosts and the scary stuff that I would normally shy away from. I love to write comedy and romantic but I need to work on a few things to get my writing where I want it to be. Constructive criticism is welcome too, at least for me it is.

I hope you will write in here too. It's a good distraction when no one else is on too.

well tonight I'm planning on finishing up some ceramic plates and maybe make a bowl
but i am officially on spring break now so

I am not fully certain one what I want to write. Being that my brain is already melting
i am open to ideas that you are looking for until my brain spits out an idea :)

I like this as a way to also further flesh out characters for other things. Cause I know there are so many scenarios that most of my characters haven't experienced.

Just write it. Don't be nervous. It's all good. This thread is to help you learn and I don't like all of my own posts but when I read them back afterwards I learn from them. It is totally messed up that I have been in here several times but never saw that you wrote this til now.
