[34 | Mercer "Mercy" Bennet (though it's rumored he had his name legally changed from Tim) | Cock and balls]
Description:
Somewhat new to these parts, Mercy is a RAVEN transfer from New Mexico. He's a tall, thick man with arms like tree trunks and a keg for a belly. His face wears a black goatee and muttonchops, and a cap that'd give you the impression he was from the military - and he was! A former marine corps quartermaster officer but was, ah, relieved of duty after a number of weapons had mysteriously disappeared and his superiors decided that he wasn't doing a good enough job maintaining the supplies. Sent home and with nowhere else to go, he figured that he could take his fine, superpowered ass to the new RAVEN organization that popped up. Worked there for a few years in New Mexico, until there was a job opening in Baybridge for another quartermaster officer - and Mercy had the experience to fulfill that position. He has been there for about a year now. It seems as though the man never sleeps and is a sucker for overtime, because he can be found behind his desk in the armory at nearly any point of the day. You have to admire his dedication if nothing else - because his undying optimism and loud personality is grating on the nerves. He's like a massive mastiff dog that has to bark at everything that moves. The greatest mystery that surrounds him, other than the loss of his previous employment, was how he got the name "Mercy". Surely, it can't just be a dolled up version of Mercer...
Power:
Internal Pocket-Dimension & Shapeshifting
From any point of Mercy's body, he can open up what looks like a black hole - without all the mass - and store a countless number of objects. The only limit on that is the size of the object. He can't store a car, cars are bigger than him, and he can't turn the entirety of his body into a hole to his pocket dimension. He doesn't want to store perishables inside for obvious reasons. From there, Mercy can also shapeshift himself or parts of his body into objects stored inside. If he stores a wrench inside, he could transform himself into a 200 lb. wrench, or just a portion of his body with weight equivalent to the item. He can't transform himself into anything heavier than himself - if he tried, a 500 lb weight would weigh just 200 lbs. The transformed parts of his body and the actual objects they transform into sort of coincide with one another. It would be more accurate to describe it as the object replacing his hands moreso than it is his hand turning into the object, as a physicist may observe, but the hypnotizing and, quite frankly, confounding process would lead anyone else to believe otherwise - perhaps the effects are interchangeable! But like the man who wields this power, it defies science and understanding. He has a bunch of stuff and gadgets inside him, but most notably, an entire arsenal of military-grade equipment. [deadpan]By golly, I wonder where he got it from.[/deadpan]
