@KoL You say you're summoning a copy of my sword to block mine.. is that flowery speech or is there a miscommunication going on? Because I don't remember launching any sword attacks.

More like your post was open to misinterpretation:

Cydone remarked to Ni-Mu as the blade pierced through the island he was riding at her, imminently about to impact with her unless she blocked or dodged.


I assumed it was his blade piercing the island just as it was about to hit Ni-Mu. If that's not right, Ni-Mu will try to slice the island.

@KoL Oh, sure. I was referencing Ni-Mu's copy of Juno's blade when I did that, but we can make it so that it was Cydone's. And the impact was referring to the island. I can totally see how you would see that. My bad.

Sorry, @Ryonara but Cydone explicitly did a coup-de-grace with shotgun shells to prevent Ni-Mu from being healed like Grafdakka was.

?'s mean damage, strikes mean dead. Probably missing some people.
Team Machina: Cherry, Grafdakka, Hibiki, Shizuka, Marquis, Bonesword, Titania, Bastion, Alexi, Ni-Mu
Team Angel: Abigail, Tartys, Zak, Syphax, Omega, Hilda, ?Zeruel?, Cydone
Team Demon: Henry, Gelgath, Ira?, Victoire, Balrog

Even with two casualties, Machina still has more people, unless I missed somebody.

I'm aware, but Hibiki and Shizuka don't know that. They also don't know about Alexi's death either, so as the commanders they'll feel a bit guilty that they've allowed themselves to be so disorganized. If everyone worked together and buddied up they no one would have died. Though I did hope maybe Cherry could bring back Nu-Mu, but after rereading your post I don't think there's anything left of Nu-Mu to bring back.

Hey, maids clean up messes. They'd be out of a job if things didn't go wrong at times. After all if the Machina won all their battles while being disorganized, they wouldn't need the Mecha Maids to help them, would they?

I guess. Still feel like things would have turned out differently if she was actively fighting alongside someone to watch her back or at least save her from a deathblow. After this battle I want to try to have Hibiki and Shizuka train everyone as a team to increase their effectiveness. I'm sure everyone is able to take care of themselves in one-on-one combat, but if they worked together none of the Machina will have to deal with a two-on-one like what happened with Nu-Mu.
