No worries! I can definitely alter it! Give me a sec.

EDIT: Changed it up. Does this new readied action work? For future reference, can Torus make a mound with Mold Earth, with surrounding loose dirt, if he can't simultaneously excavate the vicinity's ground?

Yup, it should function as an improvised weapon that forces a DEX save instead of an attack roll, given the Shape water cantrip in itself has no damage values. As for the loose dirt, sure. If there's loose earth somewhere he can move, he can build a pile out of it somewhere else. But remember, it's five feet per turn.

Now we get back to the usual combat rules. The thing with the prepared action being that the Raven had a hard time discerning where to drop the water thanks to the smoke. If it will be written in, I will need to roll for it's accuracy but it can happen.

In any case, I'll just notify all of you: @Gordian Nought@The Harbinger of Ferocity@Lucius Cypher@Norschtalen@Ryonara

If Parum casted the rally as a Minor Illusion, does that dissipate the smoke from the previous Minor Illusion? Or was the cloud invoked by an actual physical object, i.e. a bomb?

I'll write in the attempt, for sure, regardless! It'll be fun. Hope it doesn't hit anyone of us. :/

The smoke is not an illusion, but instead has been/is being caused by something the raiders did/are doing. Thus there is no dissipating to happen.

Gotcha. My bad. I totally misunderstood. Will have the post up shortly.

Now, how should we resolve this improv?

I'll take care of the rolls, but if you want to know how I do it, I will use Blood Bowl scatter mechanics. First a roll to see if it scatters, if it does the "where" will be answered with another series of rolls. We'll see what will be hit and what not. Once the accuracy is taken care of, anyone that may or may not be under the water will DEX save. On success, no damage. On a failure, I'd like to say 1d4+1 frost or bludgeoning damage as an improvised weapon. Let me get onto it.

That probably was more effective than anyone could've guessed. Well, what now? It would be @The Harbinger of Ferocity's turn, unless you all want to break out of initiative order and leave what remains on the ground be?

Wowzers, Hekazu! Super cool!

It actually worked! That is some awesome mechanics.

Torus/Xaron is up for anything. I leave it to Harbinger's suggestion.

I say we go about chopping off the heads of the Kobolds. How do coup de grace work in 5E? I've never had to use it before.

I was about to suggest and investigate as much, given now is the most opportune time to eliminate them all while Kyra goes and finds the way into the temple. The last thing we need are these damnable things to awaken and panic, causing more of a scene. Though I have to admit, between Parum preventing the enemy from fleeing to the miracle of a kill we just witnessed, this should go more smoothly from here assuming we are not caught.

Coup de grace in itself is not a mechanic. Kobolds are asleep and prone though, and when attacking prone targets you are granted an advantage on any melee attack roll on them from 5 feet or less away, I believe. Now I need to go to bed though, will be back in the morning.

Unconscious
An unconscious creature is incapacitated (see the condition), can’t move or speak, and is unaware of its surroundings
The creature drops whatever it’s holding and falls prone.
The creature automatically fails Strength and Dexterity saving throws.
Attack rolls against the creature have advantage.
Any attack that hits the creature is a critical hit if the attacker is within 5 feet of the creature.
5e SRD

More or less every attack against them is a coup de Grace, so it comes down to us hitting each at least once. I am not sure how many hit points a kobold has, but probably not many. I am fairly certain the greatsword will work by itself, although anything less than 8 points of damage is risky. The good news is, if they attempt to flee, they should provoke an opportunity attack by standing and then moving away.

Either way, that is my intent, to have Brannor execute each lest they escape.

I'll have Orchid do the same. So should we continue by initiative or are we free to post as normal?

I don't see anything wrong in breaking the initiative order, but I can see a case for keeping the system running as well. That is why I'm asking you guys if you'd rather keep it or drop it.

If there isn't any more threats coming in I'd say we break the order. But that's mostly just because I have the last initiative.

Ultimately up to y'all, but I'm also okay with breaking initiative order and allowing those who desire to engage the Kobolds.

@Hekazu

Would Kyra have some way of entering the back entrance without causing too much noise? A key perhaps, since she is a cleric there, or maybe just know a way inside? I could have her knock of course, but I don't want her shouting to attract the attention of the enemies.

I hope my use of Minor Illusion is okay. I basically wanted Parum to talk to someone inside without making too much noise. She isn't shouting, but using her Minor Illusion to create a noise (Her voice) thirty feet inside the building.

Also while this may be too late as it is, I don't mind breaking the initiative order right now. I don't intend to have Kyra fight the other raiders unless they catch up to the group.
