"FLYING FISH?" Leaning forward, Nathaniel's eyes shot wide as Megan put down her cards, but after looking at the cards she put down, Nathaniel realized she was talking about the regular one and not the golden one. "Oh." Nathaniel muttered as he sat back down in his seat. "It's something, at least."

Nathaniel took the pile of cards from the table and began to sort them through.

"Okay, so we have...
Three copies of Performapal Sword Fish and one Aegaion the Sea Castrum from me
A copy of Deepspace Berserker from Camryn (for some reason)
Two Shocktupus, two Skull Krakens, and one copy each of Needle Sunfish, Poseidon Wave, Surface, and Fish Rain from Haas.
Two Defenders of the Ice Barrier, one Warlock of the Ice Barrier, and a Genex Ally Solid from Maisy.
And a Mobius the Frost Monarch, two Atlantean Attack Squads, and a Flying Fish from Megan.
That makes a total of... 21 cards."

As he finished counting, Nathaniel neatly stacked the cards on top of each other. It was a 10:1 ratio, but unfortunately most of what they had was vendor trash. Still, they had more rares than expected. Mobius the Frost Monarch was a Rare, and Surface was Super Rare. Maisy had also threw in 4 Super Rares, for a total of 6 rare cards; almost a 1:3 ratio.

"Okay, I'll admit these cards aren't the greatest, but they aren't... garbage." Nathaniel replied anxiously to the criticisms of the table, himself not positive about his plan. "I mean, we have to try, right?"

Haas' face sunk more and more as the conversation around the table went on, leaning back and ruffling through his hair with one hand. He racked his brain trying to make sense of all of this. There were a few things that people brought up that nobody seems to have answered, so he figured he'd go through them one by one.

"Hmm... the guy's name was Meio, and he's a Light dorm student from what you guys have told me. Even if we don't know how he looks, Light dorm is the least populated dorm for first years like us... so maybe if we found someone using a WATER deck and wearing a Light dorm uniform, that'd be our guy?" Haas asked the group, looking around the cafeteria to see if he spotted someone with a Light dorm uniform. The thing that caught Haas' eye was the duel that had been going on between two Light dorm students. One of them had Neo-Daedalus on the field and neither player had any other cards. The other player's lifepoints were shown next to him, a measly 700. Neo-Daedalus soon called upon a mighty wave and washed out that paltry amount.

"...So, uh, maybe it's the guy with the spiky blue hair over there?" Haas commented after witnessing that display. It was a little convenient, but that was a pretty convincing display. The only issue now is that the guy demonstrated him being really strong, so beating him in an Ante match like Hayato suggested seemed unlikely. Now, for the next issue...

"Oh, right, Maisy! Errr... I guess you have a point, actually. Our lineup isn't that impressive... but it's better to try, right? Getting the cards honestly would make us better than... err... Steel, was it? Yeah, him." the boy answered. He looked back to the pile of cards again. The most eye-catching one was still just the Xyz monster...

Haas briefly looked over to Hayate, wincing at the idea of getting hurt in a duel. He then looked over to Ben, who raised the final issue. With a deep breath, Haas began to speak up again. "I've dueled Andre once, at the entrance exam... he was really good! It'd help to have someone as strong as him on our team, but... you're also right. We don't have much to pull him in. Could we... maybe convince him to help if we dueled him? Though, we wouldn't have much to put up in return..." Haas asked Ben, honestly not believing it himself.

In either case, the school bell rang again. It seems classes were going to start back up again. Haas shoved the pile of cards into Nathan's hands for safe-keeping, then jumped up from his chair. "Ah, shoot! Uhm... Let's see what we can do after classes, alright guys?" he told the group, then dashed off with his plate.
Once classes were over, the group had split up. Not everyone could go after Meio, that'd be a bit too suspicious. Instead, everyone had come up with a compromise: Maisy, Nathan and Camryn would try to find Meio and get his cards while the rest would go about their daily life.

Nathan, Maisy and Camryn tried thinking of places where Meio could be. They had a few possibilities open to them. He could be in the cafeteria again, or on one of the Arena floors to duel. There were two open at this hour, the ones on floor 11 and 12. Another possibility was his own room, but it could be tough to sneak into the Light dorm again. Seeing as how the guy seemed to love water, the pool on floor 7 might also have been an option. It was fairly unlikely the guy was anywhere else right now.

As for the rest, they were all minding their own business. Amelia and Leander had stuck around together after classes and were now chatting it up, while Megan and Joshua were wandering the school to find something to do. Andre, Ben and Michelle were doing their thing and Hayato was locked up in his room, messing with his new Gauntlet-shaped toy. Meanwhile, his sister was hanging out with Haas, who'd been dragged away by force as usual.

Down at the entrance of the academy, a certain Light dorm girl was waiting patiently for someone to show up. The receptionist didn't seem to care much, as she was busy talking over the phone. Ethel dressed modestly this time, but still refused to put on her uniform. She was barely showing any skin between her long socks and plaid skirt, just so that Angelo would not get the wrong idea... again. The boy in question soon walked out of the front door, catching Ethel's eye. "Good. You're here," Ethel confirmed.

"I heard, about last night. Who is the girl? She knows things. Things about my situation. I need to know more." Ethel explained to Angelo. She didn't waste any time in waiting for his response, walking out of the sliding door and into the desert. She was aiming for the Turbo Dueling arena.

"Hurry up," she impatiently called out behind her.

Leander Xenovia

"Hmm...." Leander pondered about what Amelia had said, thinking back on what he had experienced. The attack he had received had certainly been painful. He closed his eyes and thought further, trying to remember as much as he could about the event. When the attack went through, was the attack really solid? Leander continued the train of thought for a while, but eventually sighed and let it fade away. There was no point needing to remember something like that, anyway.

Looking back at Amelia, Leander smiled and said, "Well, I'm glad to see that you're doing okay." There was a moment of silence from Leander as he was out of things to say, then Leander continued, "Hey, what do you want to do after lunch? Do you think we should-" Leander wanted to consider going over to the group, only to turn his head and see that the group was already breaking up. "Well, there goes that idea," Leander said. "Hmm.... wanna come to my dorm room?"

Amelia had also spotted the group breaking up and had glanced at her watch to check the time. She realized it was time to return to their classes and stood up to leave, only to stop when Leander posed his next question, which involved inviting her to his room. Her face immediately gained a bit more color.
"Uh... S-sure." She said, her tone a bit embarrassed. She took a second to calm herself before continuing. "As long as you don't think we'll get in trouble, I'm okay with that. Let's just do it after class though, otherwise we will get in trouble. Meet you in the card shop after everything is done."

After agreeing upon a spot to meet with Leander, Amelia went to class, trying to focus, though her mind kept wondering. When they finally ended, she went to the meeting spot she agreed on meeting Leander at, taking a seat and relaxing. Once Leander arrived, she stood up and gave him a small smile in greeting, waiting for him to lead the way.

Nathaniel went over the options in his head. The first place he would check would be the guy's room, except that was completely off the table since they were barred entry as two Winds and an Earth. With a sigh, Nathaniel mentally kicked himself for his lack of foresight. There might be some other places they could look, and they could always ask some other Light Dormers if they saw the guy around. Still, finding one guy in a school was going to be like finding a needle in a haystack. Their time is limited. They better start working fast.

"I think we should split up. It's still the afternoon, but it's going to be curfew soon. We need to find this guy as soon as possible. If one of us finds him, we should call each other so that we can meet up where he is. Actually, I don't think I have you on my dial, Maisy." Nathaniel took out his D-Ceiver as he prepared to exchange contact information. "Are you two okay with that?"

"Splitting up sounds good to me. Should we have someone hit both of the duel fields so someone else can check the cafeteria, or d'you think we should just ignore the cafeteria? I doubt he's down there, anyway, unless he wants a snack between now and dinner." Camryn looked around a bit, just to see if Meio was, by some miracle, right nearby. "At any rate, we had better work fast; like Nate said, it's gonna be curfew soon." She took out her D-Ceiver as well. "Pretty sure I don't have your info either, Maisy, so let's swap numbers real quick and determine who's going where."

Angelo went through the classes as he normally would and soon enough it was time and after classes he went to where Ethel wanted. Angelo was annoyed really when he saw that she was their and wearing cloths that pretty much covered her entirely which was obvious. She didn't want to be with Angelo at least not yet but she didn't even wait for him to answer when she asked about the girl and just started walking to the arena. He has to admit that the way she keeps giving these misleading text messages and then ends up being like her normal self was getting annoying. He walked behind her before saying "Relax Ethel she wont be going anywhere for a while. Besides it would have been better if you had asked Camryn instead lets just say we played good cop bad cop and I was really good at bad cop" He said wanting to say that he didn't exactly display the friendliest of aura's but that was easy to explain because after all it was about Ethel. Angelo kept walking with her as they found their way to the turbo dueling arena...

Andre was on his way back to his dorm, having opted to take the stairs as opposed to the elevator. He could see the things going on on other floors through the windows in the double doors, with most floors either being vacant or having some kind of duel happening. The two arena floors that were open at this time were especially bursting with activity, but a bit too much for his liking. The boy almost didn't pay any attention to the second floor as he passed it by, the theater being something that he hadn't really paid much mind to.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

A sudden scream grabbed Andre's attention, coming from the double doors he was about to walk past. Peering into the window, he could see an Earth dorm student collapsed on the floor. His golden hair was messy and his uniform frazzled while sparks flickered on his body. A metal wire was connected to their academy-licensed Action Duel Disk. The origin from the metal wire was another disk, a solid-vision disk which was black-trimmed and had a straight, red-outlined blade. The owner was a Dark Dorm student standing atop the podium, with short black hair and a fringe that curled around their right eye. The Dark Dorm student had a mocking grin, lips moving to say something Andre couldn't hear behind the door.
Joshua had been spectating a few duels over in the Action Duel arena, killing some time. It was mostly second and third years dueling for whatever reason, shown by the overwhelming amount of red and blue academy blazers. Just as he was about to get up and leave, an Earth dorm student jumped into the seat next to Joshua, coming from behind so he couldn't see it coming.

"Bored, aint'cha? I geddit. I am, too, with these clowns stinkin' up the arena. Nuffin' like the great me!"

The student was a petite girl, clearly filled with pride as she puffed up her chest. Her cream-coloured hair was slightly frilly and reached all the way down to her hips. If he didn't know any better, Joshua would think she was too young to even be attending this school.

"Heeeey, wait a minute! You're Joshua, right? The one who cheated that acrobatics competition?" the girl asked, giving him a mischievous smile. He didn't even get time to answer before she stood up with pride, smashing her fist against her flat chest.

"I'm the cream o'da crop, the one at the top! Cream Noel, best of best! I seen you get together with a few peeps here and there, acting all mysterious like. Wassup with that, huh? Looking to worm your way outta the next competition?" she teased again, bowing forward with a playful glint in her eyes. It didn't seem like she was going to leave Joshua alone, even if he tried to exit the arena.
"I don't know Camryn," Ethel curtly answered Angelo, still tapping her foot as he caught up. While on their way to the Turbo arena, she did try to be a bit more friendly compared to how she had been treating him. Whether it was because she'd nicened up or she wanted something from him was yet to be deduced, but the fact remained that Angelo was one of the only people she associated herself with- for better or for worse. The duo eventually found themselves into the arena, entering and briefly waving to Ryder, who was still typing away on that computer of his.

"Yo, Angelo!" a voice called from the garage. Jacklyn was carrying her helmet under her arm as she walked out, having just finished a test drive of her Duel Runner. She glanced over at Ethel, who glanced at Angelo in turn. A smirk crept up on the older girl's face.

"Sheesh, Angelo! When I said I'd be willin' to help out, I didn't expect ya to come with the girl in tow." Jacklyn teased, but it didn't seem to have the desired effect on Ethel. She stomped forward in anger, catching the blonde off-guard.

"What do you know about my accident?" Ethel quickly snapped, getting straight to the point. Jacklyn raised an eyebrow and gave a questioning look at Angelo, as if to ask 'You didn't tell her what I told you?' and then focused back on Ethel. As the two girls had a bit of a back-and-forth, a figure caught Angelo's eyes. They were standing among the Duel Runners, unnoticed by seemingly everyone else. They were clearly an adult, but a purple helmet covered their facial features. They nonchalantly waved at Angelo, unphazed by the entire situation. Angelo then got a text on his D-Ceiver.

"Looking for something with your girlfriend?"

Andre frowned in distaste as he looked through the door what had made him bother with this was beyond him. However he probably could guess if he had to come to. Ben's bloody good nature was wiping off on him. And his own painful past made him hate bullies. When you were scum enough to pick on the weak then you were beneath that scum in reality. Andre didn't bother with any formality he more or less kicked the door open and walked in. His signature scarf draped around his neck, along with his bright yellow uniform with contrasted so poorly with his own nature. "I heard a scream. What's going on in here? If you're picking on people big guy then you got my attention. Because if you are I got my eyes on you. Come on speak up, and before you ask yeah I am acting like a tough guy because I guarantee you I can take a hit better than anyone in this school." Andrew growled in a cold guttural tone he stood over the Earth Dormie but made no effort to help him up. If this little pip squeak had ANY hint of strength he could stand up on his own two feet. Andre had no interest in the boy personally what he did find abrasive was the fool on the podium's use of power. You didn't use your power to pick on the weak. You used it to prove your superiority that you were better. You didn't use it to squash your opponent you used it to subjugate them. Might makes Right but you only got to keep it if you used that might correctly. Andre had thrown down some of the biggest bullies by using his skills this one wouldn't even be worth the effort.

===

Ben sighed as he ran his hand through his hair and considered what he should do next it came to him that he was really in no condition to really contribute to his next class. He was tired, and his body was telling him to lay down. However he couldn't just play delinquent could he? He considered his next action for a moment before turning to Michelle. "Hey Michelle, that's your name right? I think I forgot a few of my cards somewhere in the school could you help me go find them?" Ben asked hoping that he could at least drag someone along with him so that he could talk to them. In reality maybe this was wrong of him to do so but if he had no one to talk to he'd just be some loser walking around school twiddling his thumbs. "I think I know where they are so I don't think it'll take long. If it takes longer than I think I'll treat you to lunch sometime sound good?" Ben said with a smile and a chuckled as he adjusted his uniform.

Maisy beamed at the prospect of hunting down freaky fish guy...even though she didn't really know what he looked like. She already memorized all the underwear he owned, save for the one he was probably wearing at the time, so she didn't need to LOOK to know if it was him. She just needed to pants him. Or...yeah, pantsing him would clearly be the best way.

Popping back to reality, Maisy figured that it was a pretty good idea to get Nate and Cam's numbers and gave them her's, receiving theirs. For a moment Maisy was happy to add more to her contacts list, but remembered one of the first she'd gotten...Vincent. Sighing, she looked kind of glum for a moment, wondering where one of the strongest duelists she knew was at a time like this...If he were here, then maybe they'd stand a chance against any random dark dorm mob that'd come up. Ah well, she figured. He's probably off being his usual duel-happy self somewhere. Probably not-suffering. Good 'ol Vincent.

Cupping her cheek in her hand, Maisy pondered about how they should split up, before saying: "Well, either me or Camryn has to go to the pool. Cam-cam, how well do you rock a swimsuit?"super nonchalantly, adding: "Probably better than me anyhow. Nate, you feel like scoping out the duel arenas? I could stay in the cafeteria then go check out his room if I turn up with nothing. Can't keep a McKellen out of the same room twice." Maisy grinned as she pulled out what appeared to be a bobby pin perfectly formed into the shape of...a fish. It...seemed that was her way of getting back into the room if need-be.

Angelo sighed a bit as she simply said that she didn't know Camryn but really that's her own fault for being so anti social. Still that didn't mean she wasn't kind, at the very least she was treating him with less disdain then she normally would. It wasn't long until they got to the arena and Jacklyn made a wise crack about him bringing a girl in tow at her offer to help out. Then as expected Ethel went to Jacklyn and started her own personal interrogation which in reality wasn't much different from him. He stayed back and looked around and noticed someone wearing purple and having a helmet on and acting nonchalant as he waved to him. Angelo didn't return the wave but soon got a text and he opened it up to see what he asked about his girlfriend. His eyes narrowed at both him and the message and he replied back "You better hope you can outrun me cause when If I catch you, well, lets just say it will be hard to run with broken legs" he warned before he made a quick message to Ethel and said "Man wearing purple with a helmet on at 10 o'clock stop your interrogation cause he might know something. He said before turning back to the man to keep an eye on him.

Leander Xenovia

Leander gave Amelia a beaming smile and a wave as he arrived. "Let's go!" Leander said happily as he led Amelia to his room, turning around and walking backwards occasionally to see if Amelia was still following him, always giving off a grin as he did so. That quickly stopped, however, as he bumped into a Dark Dorm student, who flashed him a rather menacing glare but did not retaliate further. Fortunately, the rest of the journey went by without incident, and the two finally made their way to Leander's room.

"And here we are!" Leander announced as they entered his Light Dorm room. Everything from the beginning of the year was still there, but aside from that, there was nothing particularly special about it. "It's a bit bland and boring in here, but I just haven't decided what to add to this place yet." Turning to Amelia, Leander explained, "Hey Amelia, I wanted to ask you if you could help me test out my deck. There are plenty of new people out there, and I want to be ready to face them, so I've been making some changes, taking out some cards and adding new ones, you know." After a moment, Leander then continued, "Wait, do you have your deck with you? That would make things pretty awkward if you didn't, but I'm sure we could find something else to do in here. Maybe."

Michelle Kine

Michelle didn't really know what to do now. The group had broken up by now, and with the current mood, she was in no mood to study. She sighed. She had been no help throughout the entire meeting, and past events had not been great either. Sure, she was not expecting to be the main focus, but she had hoped to be able to do something other than watch from the sidelines. Wasn't there something she could do?

A voice dragged her out from her thoughts, and she turned toward Ben, who had been calling her out. Searching for lost cards? "Oh, um, sure. Lead the way," Michelle agreed, thinking that it would take her mind off her troubles for the time being. If she had been more focused, perhaps she would have seen through, at least noticed, Ben's excuses and body language, but for now she remained clueless.

Joshua watched the action duels with varying degrees of interest, taking mental notes where he could. When he finally had enough, he got up and made to leave, only to suddenly be engaged in conversation by a rather short girl. Looking down at her, he listened calmly as she brought up his 'cheating' during the acrobatics competition and then herself, bragging about being the top. He couldn't help but laugh at the little display.
"First off, since the judges clearly didn't eliminate me come the competition for what I did, it was obviously legal and therefore not cheating." He said before whipping out Adrenaline Rusher and showing it to her. After she was sure she had seen it well enough, he put it away. "If nothing else, they're just jealous that they didn't think of it and won that card. Envy can be an excellent fuel for the fires of silent hate."

Continuing on, his tone was more amused then hostile.
"Secondly, you're obvious not the cream of the crop, not more then I am, since neither of us are in the light dorm. After all, that's the dorm all the elites are in. The fact your not wearing their uniform states where you truly stand in the Academy's hierarchy. Unless you're saying you're the top of the Earth Dorm. That might actually be slightly believable.

Third, who I gather with is none of your business and for what reasons is none of your business short-stack. Course, though the idea might be hard to believe to some people, it might be possible that I'm just hanging out with my, brace yourself, friends. Would that be so hard to believe that might actually be the case
?"

Amelia relaxed a bit when Leander returned a smile at her and stuck close to him as he led the way to his room. The only time she seemed nervous was after Leander bumped into a member of the Dark Dorm of otherwise, she enjoyed the short trip. When they arrived to his room, she looked around, instantly seeing the difference of being in the Earth Dorm to the Light Dorm. Still, as she looked around the room, she couldn't help but think of her room back home, a thought that made her want to leave ASAP. When Leander addressed her directly, she turned to him and, upon hearing that he wanted to duel, she nodded.
"I carry my deck on me everywhere." She said "It's almost a requirement here, isn't it? And I don't mind helping you out. It's what friends do, right?"

Nathaniel looked incredulously at the pin Maisy just pulled out. He did not know a lot about the art of deviancy, but he was pretty sure that was not how working lockpicks were supposed to look. Besides, the hard part is getting into the residence halls themselves. If they actually made it to Meio's door, they could just knock. For a second, Nathaniel wondered about the thought processes of the girl in front of him before snapping back to reality and stumbling out a response.

"Okay, um... t-that's an idea, I guess. I mean, if you can actually get into the Light Dorms, that would be great. I'll try to check both Duel Arenas in the time we have left. That leaves Camryn to check the pool." Nathaniel turned to head to the elevator before realizing that he was probably going to have to mention this to his two compatriots. "And again, don't do anything crazy."

"Alright cool come on." Ben said with a half hearted smile as he led Michelle away from the room and down the hallways of the school. He wondered just exactly he'd do once he got to the classrooms. Most of them were occupied so he figured it'd be best to probably look around the extracurricular rooms that weren't currently being used for class but if he chanced upon someone he didn't want to be put on the spot. He could probably just plant the cards from his duel disk to save face if he needed to. "So uh Michelle have any hobbies? I'm not one for much besides dueling but I like helping people from time to time. It makes me feel good, and it encourages people too help others. I mean to be honest despite my little fan club, and my bravado really I'm not much other than a simple guy." Ben said casually as he folded his arms across his chest and then decided he'd much rather stretch them so he let out a yawn and rolled his shoulder around in a circle. "I mean fitness technically is a hobby but I count that as heading towards a healthy mind, and a healthy soul more than a thing I do for fun."

A Quick Duel

@Scarifar

"Alrighty, let's get started!" Leander said excitedly, pulling out his deck. Going over to a desk and sitting down, Leander asked, "Do you wanna go first, or should I?"

"Either or is fine with me. Shall we toss a coin? Heads you go first, tails I go first?" Amelia suggested, taking a seat opposite of him.

"Yeah, that's fine with me," Leander agreed.

Amelia nodded, fishing out a coin flipping it. She managed to catch it and placed it on the back of her hand before revealing the result.
"Tails. I'll go first." She said.

---

Turn 1: Amelia
Amelia: 4000 LP, 5 cards, 0 Mon, 0 S/T
Leander: 4000 LP, 5 cards, 0 Mon, 0 S/T

"Alright then." Amelia said, drawing her opening hand and glancing at it. It was decent, nothing really spectacular, but she could work with it for now. "I'll set one monster face-down and end my turn with that."

Turn 2: Leander
Amelia: 4000 LP, 4 cards, 1 Mon, 0 S/T
Leander: 4000 LP, 6 cards, 0 Mon, 0 S/T

"My turn," Leander announced as he drew a card. "Ok, first I activate the Spell card: Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen. Next, by using its effect, I can Special Summon Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin," Leander said, placing down the two cards.

Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin: Level 7, ATK 2300

"I can also Normal Summon Freya, Spirit of Victory, and now all of my Fairy-type monsters gain 400 ATK and DEF," Leander explained.

Freya, Spirit of Victory: Level 1, ATK 100 -> 500
Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin: ATK 2300 -> 2700

"Battle Phase! Neo-Parshath attacks your face-down monster!"

Amelia flipped her monster face up.
"Gusto Gulldo. When it's destroyed, I can search my deck for a Level 2 or lower Gusto Monster and summon it to the field." Amelia said, picking up her deck and fanning out the cards. "I summon Gusto Egul in Defence monde."

Gusto Egul: Level 1 DEF: 400

"And because Neo-Parshath attacked a Defense-position monster, he deals piercing battle damage!" Leander said. "So you take.... uh..." Leander then began muttering out loud as he began calculating. "Minus 500... carry the 4... 2200 damage!"

Amelia: 4000 LP -> 1800 LP

"You're... not really good at math are you?" Amelia asked with a small laugh.

"Hey, I got it right at least!" Leander objected. "At least, I think I did. Anyway, Neo-Parshath also lets me draw a card when it deals battle damage." After drawing a card, Leander continued, "Now I'll place this card face-down and end my turn." Leander then began to correct himself, "No waitwaitwait, I-I still got a card to play! Field Spell: Sanctuary in the Sky! Ok, there we go. Turn End for real this time.

Turn 3: Amelia
Amelia: 1800 LP, 5 cards, 1 Mon, 0 S/T
Leander: 4000 LP, 2 cards, 2 Mon, 1 S/T, 1 Field

Amelia couldn't help but let out an amused smile as he drew her next card. She looked over her cards, frowning before deciding on her course of action.
"I play Magical Mallet. I'll return my remaining hand to the deck in exchange for a new one." She said. She put her hand back on top of her deck before picking it up and shuffling before offering it to Leander to give him a chance to cut it.

Leander thought for a bit before making the cut at random, then handed Amelia's deck back to her.

"Thank you." Amelia said before drawing a new hand and examining it. She frowned for a second before sighing. "My turn is over. There's nothing I can do."

Turn 4: Leander
Amelia: 1800 LP, 4 cards, 1 Mon, 0 S/T
Leander: 4000 LP, 2 cards, 2 Mon, 1 S/T, 1 Field

Leander blinked in surprise, not expecting Amelia to give up so quickly. "Oh. Um, ok." Looking down on the field, Leander explained, "Because Sanctuary in the Sky is on the field, Neo-Parshath gains ATK and DEF equal to the difference between our Life Points.

Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin: ATK 2700 -> 4900

Drawing his next card, Leander then wasted no time saying, "Battle Phase. Neo-Parshath attacks Gusto Egul, and that should be game.

Amelia: 1800 LP -> 0 LP
Winner: Leander!

---

Leander had not been expecting such a quick win, and was silent for a moment before saying, "Wow, that was.... sorry about that. That went quicker than I thought."

Amelia shrugged.
"Gusto's have low stats, but a strong defence with their triangle of summons. But if my opponent gets a strong monster with piercing damage, there's little to nothing I can do unless I have Waboku or Draining Shield on the field." She said before smiling a bit. "But, it seemed like your deck worked well, though you need a stronger opponent then me to really test it."

"Yeah, you're probably right about that," Leander agreed. "Thanks for helping me with this, Amelia. What should we do now, though?"

"I don't know, but I probably shouldn't stay here long. Aren't there rules against a girl being in a guy's room or vice versa?" Amelia said.

"Are there? I dunno about that," Leander admitted. "Maybe there are, maybe there aren't. I don't really wanna find out by getting in trouble, though." Getting up from the table to walk over to the door, Leander asked, "Want me to walk you to, uh, wherever you wanna go?"

"I don't know where I would want to go though. The school is big but there really isn't much to do here other then to duel." Amelia said, thinking over the posibilities. "Is there anything you would like to do? Maybe go out and test your deck more? I wouldn't mind watching."

"Hmmm...." Leander pondered deeply. "We could probably go back to the card shop again. There could still be some people working on their decks too."

"It's a shame they stopped selling cards for the Extra Deck. Now I have to save up points to buy boxes to have the best odds of getting the monsters I need for that part of my deck." Amelia said, putting her deck away before standing up.

"Yeah, that's a bummer. I feel like some cards are missing in my collection, too, but everything seemed right when I checked it," Leander said. "Maybe it's just me. Oh well. Let's get going." Leander then exited the room, holding the door open for Amelia before closing it.

"Thank you sir. You are a proper gentleman." Amelia said as she walked through the door way.

The dark dorm student flinched and took a step back once the door flung open. His surprise quickly turned to irritation as Andre tried grandstanding, the dark dorm student balling up his free fist. The chain that was attached to the Earth dorm student came loose and started to reel back into the Dark dorm's disk. The earth dorm pushed himself onto his knees and elbows, weakly looking at Andre who was currently towering over him.

"I don't know who y'are, numbskull, but I ain't pickin' on anyone. I won the duel fair n'd square, it's his fault for not being strong enough. Speakin' of which..."

With a smirk the dark dorm reached into the pocket of his jacket, took out a card and flashed it for both others to see. The golden haired boy looked back and his eyes widened.

"My card...!" the earth dorm student complained, reaching out with one hand.

"I'll be keepin' this, as promised." the dark dorm student replied, amused. The golden haired earth dorm grit his teeth and slammed his fist on the floor in frustration. The Dark dorm then focused his gaze on Andre, who was still standing there. Still smirking, the student slipped the card into his jacket before speaking up again.

"Hey, tough guy. I don't think y'realize how awesome I really am yet. I mean... just look at THIS!"

The student yanked his jacket open to reveal multiple self-cut pockets, all filled to the brim with cards. On a glance, there were at least ten holes on each side. The amount of cards was simply staggering, as each pocket seemed like it could hold an entire deck's worth of cards.
"Okay, okay! You don't need to go dronin' on, sheesh!" Cream complained as Joshua started to lecture her, puffing up her cheeks in frustration. She crossed her arms and gave a slight tilt of the head.

"Brevity's the soul of wit, ya know? Anyway, a guy like you can't have that many friends. C'mon. Even I don't, and I'm the best of the best!" she retorted. Cream pointed to herself with her thumb and grinned.

"Maaaaybbbeeee... you're causin' trouble for the school? I did hear about that time when three darkies wound up fried in their own dorm..." she pried again.
Ethel flinched when she felt her D-Ceiver buzz, quickly excusing herself to take a look. When Angelo then looked up from his screen the person in purple was gone. Unfortunately for him, he didn't have the time to call false alarm as Ethel's head shot up and frantically looked around the room, trying to find who Angelo was talking about. When she couldn't, Ethel grabbed the collar of his shirt in frustration.

"Where? Tell me." Ethel curtly demanded, before getting pulled off of Angelo by Jacklyn, who looked frustrated.

"For the love of... you two are just as bad as each other!" the older girl lectured. It's a miracle Ryder didn't catch that, and probably for the best too. Ethel groaned and struggled off, cooling off a little. She still looked around frantically to find the person, meeting a sigh from Jacklyn.

"Listen, I should get back to my dorm to catch some sleep. I'll see you later," she said, walking past the duo of students. Then, Angelo's D-Ceiver buzzed again.

"Please. I'm not interested in the girl."
Nathan, Camryn and Maisy all split up to search their respective locations. Nathan was the first to arrive on-scene, courtesy of a timely elevator hog. He first checked the arenas A and B, where A seemed to be quite full. It was easy to see why: Two Divine Dorm students had just finished a duel, with the crowd erupting in cheers. Nathan was stuck checking each and every Light dorm he could spot in the crowd, but not one of them looked like the spiky haired individual he had seen dueling during lunch break.

Meanwhile, Maisy had bolted down to the dormitories to sneak into Meio's room again. After sneaking through the halls in her trusty cardboard box she arrived at the door. Just as the girl was about to take her bobby pin to the lock, she noticed it was already open. Opening the door revealed a dark dorm student ruffling through the belongings of the room's owner. He hadn't seen her, though.

Meanwhile, Camryn walked in on a rather funny sight. The entire pool was vacant, with students gathered around it. The reason why is because two duelists were riding motor-powered, miniature surf boards, dueling on top of the water. Action cards were scattered all over the duel field, some even inside the pool itself. The spiky haired individual from lunch break was one of the duelists, with Neo-Daedalus on his field again. The opponent, on the other hand, was playing sharks. His field only had a Bahamut Shark and Shark Caesar, not enough to withstand the onslaught.

Andre looked at the idiot from dark dorm with an incredulous look....and then his smile cracked and then he began laughing like a crazed maniac with pure amusement as she shook his head and grabbed his scarf as he laughed. Once Andre finally calmed down he looked at the fool with a dumbfounded look. "Do you think that gives you power over me?" Andre said as he activated his own duel disk. "You're incompetent swine only ripe for the butcher's knife. I'll fight you and if you win this by some miracle I'll leave you alone, and you can even take my ace card if you want. However if I win, and I will, I intend for you to go back to your dorm and tell everyone in it to fuck off for me will you? I'm tired of dark dorm's annoyances. Picking on the weak on mass is likely ruining this school's reputation because once rumor of this dorm of yours spreads I won't be able to use this school as a bloody reference. Ergo this school's failure ends up as wasted time for me. So while I do have some stake in this don't you go around acting like I'm some bloody savior. I'm no angel, nor am I a goody good. If this had no impact on me I'd have left the kid here to his own failure." Andre said coldly as he prepared himself for either a rejection, or a duel. He was ready for either however the idiot would lose incredible amounts of face after this if he left. Especially since Andre had ended up in the top dorm. It would show all the others that dark dorm was afraid of light. Ironically due to light dorm's most prolific asshole.

Hayato returned to his room, gauntlet in hand and sat near his desk. He opened up one of his luggage bags, pulled out a laptop and then closed it again. "Alright, let's see what I can find..." Hayato said to himself, booting up a browser. The search started off simple, and predictably without any results. "No, nothing to be found here..." Hayato said continuing his search, starting to refine it every time until he hit something that caught his interest. It was an old article about a tower. "What is this...?" Hayato said to himself, unsure if its a mere rumor or not, it didn't mention anything about the gauntlet but it peaked his interest as it could be related. "Hmm... no, I don't think it's related but it might be something to come back to." Hayato said, putting a bookmark on it after skimming through it and going back to his search. "Perhaps I should look for incidents were cards came to life..." Hayato thought to himself, once again changing his search.

His search continued stumbling upon a few older articles which described something similar to the situation he encountered but still didn't seem relevant. "Perhaps this was just an odd one-off case," Hayato thought to himself, not getting any luck finding anything but still putting bookmarks on the pages he was on and looked at the gauntlet. "Maybe I can find some clues by looking at the gauntlet itself," Hayato pondered, picking up the gauntlet. "Unfortunately... this not being an electronic device means I can't really take it apart..." Hayato spoke out loud as he checked every surface for clues he could use as search terms. "Hmm, there isn't much here is there?"

Hayato's search for clues about the gauntlet had continued as time went on, not really getting anywhere other than the articles and stories he had bookmarked. "What even happened to the tower I was at...?" Hayato asked himself, not really thinking about looking it up. "I might have to ask the students around here, maybe there are some rumors about it, I am in the middle of nowhere or least it feels like it..."

Hayate had asked Haas if he had time to just hang out instead of helping with investigating. "Say... Haas, you know any good packs I can get so I can get extra Blue-eyes I really don't know how I can get my hands on him... having just one kinda put me in a bad spot last night..." Hayate asked, still concerned about what actually happened the other day. Was she weak or not...? Hayate seemed out of it, not being her usual self despite spending a lot of time paper crafting.

Back in a certain someone's Dorm Room...

Hayato blinked at the sight of a few articles he found. "W-well, that's intriguing..." Hayato really couldn't believe what he read and continued on. "Millenium items, huh... What a load of bull." Hayato commented, stumbling upon another strange article while looking up strange objects with strange powers. "I wonder if there is a whole set then... they appear to be real, might have lost their powers though... could it be that this gauntlet lost its power too? It would seem so right now... if it did, I guess I can leave it in my room without worry." Hayato looked at the gauntlet, comptemplating if he should put it somewhere safe or not. For all he knows, it'll possess him or something weird like that. "Oi, Zorc, you alive in there?" Hayato spoke to the card once again. He didn't get a response.

Hayato went back to the bookmarked pages. "Hm... cards have souls, huh...? I don't think mine have any. That Zorc guy seemed like he did..." Hayato pondered. "Mother never had to deal with this crap, then again, I highly doubt a lot of this is scientifically proven," Hayato said, annoyed as he looked through his bookmarked pages. "These rumors are all weird, not a lot of info is reliable from the ones I have left, some talk about some weird stuff and what is this weird stuff about a guy called Zarc who fused himself into one being? This all doesn't make any sense..." Hayato scratched his head as he reviewed his material, not really convinced that the evidence he found is good evidence. "This is all supernatural bullshit," Hayato said. "This is all stuff you expect in anime..." Hayato looked at the gauntlet "Tsk... but I saw it all happen..." Hayato scuffled his hair in frustration and confusion. "Oi, Gauntlet! SPEAK!" Hayato shouted at the gauntlet on the desk. "SHUT UP" Hayato heard from the hallway. "SORRY!" Hayato shouted back and looked at the gauntlet. "You know what... if I want results out of this thing... I think... I will have to make something for this to clip on..." Hayato said to himself grabbing his tools

Angelo looked around angry that he lost sight of the bastard. The fact was he couldn't be a ghost so how did he get out of the area so quickly so their must have been a trick to it and even when Ethel grabbed his collar he didn't register her as he looked for any clue that would tell him where the monster went. Apparently Jacklyn said that they were as bad as each other and he sighed a bit before he watched her leave before he looked down at his D-ciever as he got a new message saying that he wasn't interested in Ethel he then understood that apparently he wanted to do this man to man. He then messaged back "Don't assume I will not find you. When I do we are going to have a long chat, tell me where you are or I will hunt you myself" he warned him. He then looked down at Ethel before said "go home, you got what you wanted. I am going to track down a lead" he said to her as he looked at his phone for the next message if their will be one...
