I had one, forever ago. I killed it. Then it got recreated by someone else without my permission being asked and things went downhill for various reasons, though I just left the "stolen" version be.

lol, eh when it comes to forums I'm looking forward to, I don't like to see it go back a few pages in the forum, since if nothing happens long enough I might end up losing the thread, so it's also to keep it in my recent posts. (The Subscribe thing never works for me -_-)

as for that question, Loki was pretty much already set up to get along somewhat with Lord Death aka Death the kid, probably wouldn't get along with the block head black star since he can be so reckless putting other in danger half the time, who knows with Maka, let alone the others lol.

Missy may get along with Tsubaki probably the most.

Uuuuum, well I think that my character would be most compatible with Tsubaki and Maka since she would have the outer appearance of someone down to earth but also a rather bubbly and joyful inner voice that would come out in conversations that Mara is certain to start with them.

I also guess she would at least try to talk to Kid but i feel as though once they both get to know each other they wouldn't actually talk so much as go to each other for tips and training, more of a friendly competitive acquaintance that a legitimate friendship.

My character would probably get along with Soul the easiest, and although he'd find Black Star's personality grating, he'd have to respect the fact that someone so tiny is even stronger than he is. He'd probably view Tsubaki's meekness as insincere, and write her off as having nothing to contribute without Black Star leading her around by the nose.

He'd find Maka dull (is she a teacher now? Feels like she would bury her students in work), and probably reply to Kid's freakouts by telling him the true measure of a man is in how he endures hardship - not that it would help. He'd avoid the Thompson sisters, since one of them is mostly just vain, and the other is barely capable of coherent conversation.

But Tsubaki hasn't been meek since the demon sword arc and she faced her brother. Kid stopped being OCD about symmetry during his time in Eibon's book and the Thompson sisters are different too since....I don't remember exactly when they changed but they did by the end of the series. They grew out of their nonsense before the series ended. Now we're 7 years past that point.

Except for Black Star, at least for the most part.

I don't remember any major change in their personalities, and I only read the series the other week. At best, I got the impression that they could set aside their worst tendencies if it were really important - except the Thompson sisters were always strictly business in combat.

I feel like Lacey would be initially really uncomfortable around the main canon crew where they're at right now.

"These guys are heroes."

She'd be uncomfortable right up until she said something objectively blunt and it'd be like ripping off a bandaid. Her attitude would switch, she'd barrel on. If Lacey were to meet them when they were all the same age, she'd probably get along well with Maka. I don't think Maka would appreciate Lacey's tactlessness however.

While with the others, Lacey wouldn't stand for pre demon sword Tsubaki. It'd be a weird association with how she saw herself when she was friends with Vanessa Amsel. While she'd come to appreciate Tsubaki's apparent maturity after the fact.

Lacey would have fun speaking with the Thompson sisters. Swap hair styling tips with Liz while trying to spar with Patti. She'd be interested in their rough, scrappy street fighting style. With Kid she'd struggle to find something to talk about with him, though would sympathize with his nerotic episodes. He might like the shape of her soul buuuttt if they were to talk about some of his own objectives as a new grim reaper they could find some common ground.

With Black*Star she'd immediately admire his ridiculous perserverance. His totally unorthodox way of gaining power and strength.

I can see Lacey getting into a snarky low key debate with Soul, both able to pull out some barbs.

Need to think about how the twins would relate.

You don't remember the long speech Tsubaki gave about no longer being a scentless flower and saying she would do what she wanted and speak her mind. Or when kid's view of world order was completely shifted after being stricken with madness by the great old one, signified in his later decision to wear his band asymmetrically to recognize that true order wasn't stagnant and unchanging and putting away his desire for a perfectly symmetrical world?

Edit: In saying that I just remembered that Kid had them redo his coronation ceremony over and over for a full hour because Maka's dad kept putting his mask on a centimeter off.

Oh, I remember them stating that they had changed, I just don't remember them actually changing very much. That may be more on the author than the characters, though - I'm not sure how many lines Tsubaki even had after the demon blade stuff, but it can't have been many.

Then again, though, what's Tsubaki without her meekness? It was her one character trait.

Heck, if there's anyone I'd like my character to meet, it'd be Free. That guy was the best.

I've only seen the anime, and that was a good while back. This whole thing is making me wanna rewatch it and read the manga though. From my knowledge though I feel that Cassie would get along with Black✪Star and Soul the best. With the Thompson sisters she would get along with Patti and only slightly dislike Liz. She would take every opportunity to annoy Kid by bringing up his hair's lack of symmetry and messing with symmetry of things. Not sure of what her relationship with Maka and Tsubaki would be.

Note that this all comes from knowledge of the anime only. I plan on rewatching the anime and reading the manga soon.

Only bad thing with the Anime is it cuts out and changes probably 3/4 of the story, even the ending and final battle was massively changed on many accounts. I won't say anything specific and let you experience it yourself when ever you read the manga. I personally enjoyed it more than the anime after having read it. Anime though is still a good watch.

@olcharlieboi Yeah, I went so long after watching it being disappointed in the ending not realizing it wasn't the actually ending. Maybe 2 or 3 years before I was informed of that info. Still the anime itself is somewhat high up on my favorites list. Also what got me to watch it was the op.

So we're steadily making progress. Unfortunately Kouki and I are on differing schedules but we're going to be done the reviews soon.

Really looking forward to it. Browsing some other games (of the realtime tabletop variety) in the meantime has really made me appreciate how pleasant and emotionally mature everyone in this game has been. :D
