Shadow smiled back shyly. "M-my powers? Um, I've had them for as long as I can remember. I don't know everything I can do with them. And I don't think I've ever scared anybody. Avary helps make sure my powers stay under control." She sounded a bit sad when she talked about Avary. He'd been a constant in her life. Even before they died, their parents hadn't been around all that often, so Avary had looked after her. She looked up at the new woman and waved a little, Ellyse's mother, she guessed.

Kaoru's tail wraps around her making it a little warmer around her body. "Do you want to go explore the big house?" She ask Amaya as she jumps on the bed as Soji is worry about Kaoru getting stuck in the ceiling.

Rin watched Ryu leave the room and she smiled down at Amelia, a pure smile. "So, what do you like to do for fun?" she asked.

A little late, But better late than never, Terra got dropped off at the EDEN house. He grabbed his two big duffle bags and slung them over his shoulder as he got out of the car that had dropped him off. He was a strong little kid, his brother, who was raising him on the streets had just died from a gang raid that he participated in. It left terra all alone, He had nowhere to go. Luckily for him he had his ability that attracted the eyes of EDEN when he started killing kids on the street that made him mad. So he was picked up and carried here.

When he approached the house he looked at the massive wooden door, stood for a second thinking if he could even open the door, He tried and it was too heavy, he tried again and again. Then started getting mad at the door for standing in his way, he couldnt tell you why he wanted in so bad, just that he felt like he needed to get in. So he dropped his bags and-

Crash!

The door busted inwards, throwing shards of wood into the entryway, kicking up dust. When the dust cleared a little, only a little boy in a green shirt and tan cargo shorts was standing there. He picked up his bags and carried them one in each hand away from his legs for ease of walking. He took a look around and was satisfied with what he found. He dropped his bags and headed to where it sounded like there were lots of other kids. Just out of curiosity. He got to the room and peeked around the corner, what he saw made him squint his eyes and scowl in confusion. He sat in the doorway watching all the kids greet one another.

"Mr. Fellows is with the other kids. This little one was having trouble finding a roommate and is very, very shy. Not Amelia bad but still a little bad. So, I figured I'd introduce her to Elyse, see if your daughter would mind possibly having someone share the room you two live in. Of course, if Shadow here is uncomfortable with the idea, we'll have to find an alternative solution." Joshua said to Rose.

Elyse meanwhile accepted the book before turning back to Shadow.
"Who's Avary? Your brother? Maybe a boyfriend?" She asked.



Amelia didn't reply to Rin's question, frowning as she thought over the question.
"Don't know... can't remember." She said quietly. She thought a bit more before looking back up at Rin. "Draw?"

It didn't take very long for the young Souls to fall back into a resting state. Her eyes drooped closed, and the shuffling of her new roommate and the stifled voices of the kids still getting to know one another outside was just the white noise she needed to tune out the silence that would otherwise keep her from sleep. But her rest was once again interrupted by a loud crashing noise somewhere underneath them in the house, causing her to flinch ever so slightly.

"Oh, fuck it." Souls said aloud, deciding that the universe obviously didn't want her to sleep. Without wasting another moment, she swung her legs over the edge of the bed and sat to face the young girl, seeing her putting a number of notebooks and pencils into drawers. Without missing a beat, Souls pulled a small package of cigarettes out of her pocket along with a lighter. "Hope you don't mind if I light up in here." she said. It wasn't a question as much as it was a statement, a fact that became apparent when Souls lit the cigarette before the girl could reply. Souls tucked the cigarette between her teeth and sucked in, before letting the smoke flow out of her mouth. She proceeded to hold the small fag in her mouth while she dug into her backpack and pulled something out: a clay ashtray, decorated with the Yin Yang symbol painted on. The poor craftsmanship of the thing made it obvious that it had been made by a child. She placed the tray on the desk between the beds and tapped the small amount of ash that had gathered at the tip of the fag onto the tray, before shoving it back into her mouth. She then extended a claw to the window, shoving it in between the windowsill and the window, before using the leverage to pop it open, letting the cool air in, and the small amount of smoke out.

Souls took another drag from the cigarette, before pulling it out of her mouth and holding it between her fingers. "The name's Souls, by the way." she said. "So I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that you got the power to control water, judgin' by that there floatin' baloonless water baloon. And if that's the case, I've got a question I've always wondered: can you use that power to pick locks? I mean, if you just get a small cup of agua, and shove it into a keyhole, shouldn't you be able to push all the little mechanisms to the side? Make, like, a water key?"

The crash distracted Skyler, causing the water bubble to lose form and drip a little onto her shirt. Forcing the water to compress itself back together, she sighed- it took her time to extract water from clothing and she was too tired to do that. Hopefully her shirt would dry before the dinner. As the cold breeze entered the room she buttoned up her sweater since she didn't want to be ill. "I'm S-Skyler a-and y-yes I have the power o-of a-aquakinesis or, as some people t-tend to call it- h-hydrokinesis," she said nervously while tugging on her sweater's sleeve. Contemplating Soul's question, she answered "I-I've never tried i-it before, b-but I t-think it could b-be possible if the water had high enough pressure o-or if there was a-a way to freeze the water o-once it is inside the l-lock it could be used as a ice key- a-although it would break easily. ".

Shadow nodded at Joshua's response. "Y-yes, if you'll allow me, I'd b-be perfectly fine with being in a room with the two of you." She said quickly and a little quietly. She then blushed at what Elyse said. "N-n-no! He's not my boyfriend! H-he's my brother. My last family member." She said a little sadly.

Souls pulled the cigarette back up to her lips, and sucked in a good amount of smoke, before releasing the cigarette from her mouth and letting the smoke float into the room, and then out the window. She reached out to the ashtray and tapped some more ash in. "Well, I think you should practice with that higher pressure theory. It seems more accessible than the ice thing. And if you get fluent enough at it, it could be really fuckin' useful." she said, before reaching into her pocket and pulling out the small list of rules that Mr. Fellows had given her, all crumpled up into a ball. She proceeded to flatten it out, and then held it up for the Skyler girl to see. "Especially if we're gonna be checkin' off everythin' on this fuckin' checklist. The infiltration of Fuhrer Fellows's office is probably gonna be the trickiest one, and picking locks with water would be the fuckin' bomb." stated Souls, before placing the paper on the desk.

""W-wait, let m-me get this s-straight, you want t-to break every r-rule on this list? And you w-want m-my a-assistance? And if so, why?" Skyler asked sceptically. Covering herself even more with her sweater she looked at Soul expecting an explanation or a reason for wanting to break the policy.

"Have... nothing to draw with." Amelia said. She looked around the room before moving back to her bed and crawling under the covers only to emerge back out with a large stuffed, silver-colored rabbit in her arms. She looked back up at Rin before holding out the toy. "Like bunny?"



"Oh." Elyse said, her tone changing from happy to a little sad. She turned to her mother. "She can stay with us, can't she Mom?"

Rin smiled. "Awww it's cute~ is it a boy or girl?"

As she listened to the little girl's words, Souls took another drag from her cigarette. There was a silence after the girl had finished, as the cigarette was still in between the black haired teen's teeth. The stillness was near deadly, only broken by the muffled sound of the other students' 'Do you have a roommate's and 'Nice to meet you's happening outside. It remained for what must've been an eternity, until, finally, Souls wrapped her fingers around the cigarette and tapped the ashes into the tray. Suddenly, she was surrounded by a serious, slightly intimidating, air as she put her elbows on her knees and leaned on them, staring Skyler straight in her eyes.

"Kid," she said, her eyes narrowing, "I bet there's a good number of nice, innocent cunts out there who'd just love to be your roommate, and yet you decided to come on in here and ask to be mine. So here's my guess:" Souls jutted the cigarette to point at the brown haired girl. "My performance down there awoke somethin' inside you. I'll bet you don't even know what it is. But it pulled you in here, with me instead of them." and she flicked the cigarette back to point at herself. "Or maybe I'm just reading too much into this. If that's the case, it's not too late to pack your shit back up and find a different room. But if not...then let me tell ya why we're doin' this." she paused to take a quick hit from the cigarette. "One should never abide by rules that don't abide by them. It's a shitty way to live. The only rules one should follow are ones that they make. Otherwise, you're just letting someone else live your life for you. Think of it as a protest, I guess." Souls took another pause to take another hit. So...you in, kid?"

"No know." Amelia said, hugging the toy and looking up Rin with the biggest, most innocent eyes one could imagine a child could give. "What you do? What your... power?"

Rin said, "I can manipulate light. Although I can't stand bright places." she smiled a little. "Ironic, huh?"

Jessica was nervous, most people became hostile when she told them she could kill people with just a thought or touch. So she decided to start with the fact she could read minds.

"I can control fire, spirit powers, and kitsume ablitlies. I don't know what Soji can do, he is still a kitten." Soji growls as he didnot like being all a kitten. Kaoru picks up to cuddle him to get him in a better mood. To her Soji is her strong wild cat, "what is your powers?"

No, no hiding secrets anymore. You're telling them.

" I didn't hear y-your 'performance'. "she said as she looked down "Joshua covered my e-ears with something". The option to just leave seemed tempting, but most(if not all) residents had assigned partners. "Additionally, last time I checked I had an n-name," she said slightly annoyed" and since I'm not bothered to l-look for a new roomate, I guess I'm i-in - I would probabily still be involved in this since I-I'm your roomate". Making the water bubble disappear, she took out her tablet and decided to finish reading the book she began reading on the train.
