Does Elanil have a specific specialty with her magic? Is she fond of social gatherings? You mentioned that she travels alot. Perhaps they brushed shoulders together by the road? Did she hang around Haakland or Zerrikania previously?

Ferghus is a traveller himself as well but resided mostly in Haakland and Zerrikania.

I'm not too familiar with the Map in the Witcher, so it doesn't really matter where I guess. Maybe the place with well populated tavern?
