@fer1323 Glad you like it. Any constructive criticism?

I'll try to post tomorrow, unless @Heckno12 you want to post first.

@LuckyBlackCat I'm a bit busy prepping for finals right now, so I'll have to pass. I'll get one up in the next few days though.

@LuckyBlackCat The only thing that bothers me is the stomachs of the dragons. They could be less plump. Other than that, I love it. They are going to be a great family. Aren't goodra and dragonite both pseudo-legendaries

@fer1323 Well-fed dragons xD I should practice drawing Pokemon before starting on my next project. And yeah, I think they're both pseudo-legendaries.

@LuckyBlackCatsome positive comments for you

Comment 1: "I like the colors and simple shading. Everything feels slightly soft, which contributes to the warm, loving scenario."

Comment 2:"it is aesthetically pleasing"

Question: "What brand colored pencils do you use? Have you tried blending to enhance shadows and mood?"

@LuckyBlackCat More general comments for your pics

Comment 3:"this person is very good and sticks with Sugimori art style (a difficult task to maintain with so many pokemon in so many poses) kudos to her"

Comment 4:"They all look great! I personally would of positioned the legs to look a bit more dynamic but besides that, 👌"

@fer1323 That's what people were saying? Oh wow... That's made my day.

I'll take the advice about the legs into account (and try to do more dynamic pics in general). As for colour pencils, I used Faber-Castell for those pics, and yeah, I do blend but will practice more techniques.

Some more feedback and suggestions

"I second the compliments about sticking with the Sugimori style- pretty impressive. That said, I think that she could do give the characters more depth if she used multiple layers of color, ideally different colors that mix and enhance the drawing. For example, Breloom's green can have yellow or peach mixed where the lighter areas are to give a sense of warmth from the sun, and a teal mixed where the shadows are would give more depth and a richer shadow.
Color mixing can get much more complex, with the colors straying significantly from the base color. Obviously, extremes like this don't suit Sugimori's coloring style, but I would recommend playing around with mixing colors for non-Sugimori-style drawings.

In the case of the slug-dragon and dragonite, the cave in teh background could have much more depth if colors besides grey had been used. Indigo or blue-violet would have worked well as they'd also contrast the dragonite's colors and make the lighter purples of the slug-dragon stand out."

@LuckyBlackCat

"Shadows under the character will "ground" them, even if it's just a simple blue around the feet. I think it looks better than having characters floating on blank space"

"Has she tried using pen for the outline before coloring? That would make things stand out more, although it obviously takes more time to sketch, line, erase sketch, and then color."

@fer1323 Ok, I'll play around more with colour, possibly with something like GIMP, or higher quality pencils. Will need digital colouring skills and good pencils for this art course I'll hopefully be doing anyway.

About using pen, I'm worried about spending ages on a drawing and then messing up with ink, but I guess mistakes can be erased digitally.

Thanks for getting all the feedback :)
