Penny

@Lunarlors34

There were many things that Penny considered cowardly reasons for not wanting to return to the guild, yet home and family pulled at her, and she knew that she couldn't push her responsibilities aside forever. She had learned about as much as she could, and that would have to do for now. Landing in Magnolia, in much the same way that she had previous, Penny moved through the city with general ease, perhaps the look on her face, or maybe her demeanor itself, kept people away from her. She wasn't too sure if that was a good thing or not. Right then however, Penny didn't care.

She reached the guild hall, looking up at it. No longer two story, the guild hall had expanded, so that it now had a third story, more rooms for members, the training area behind now held magically created training dummies, large training fields, and equipment, and you certainly couldn't mistake it for anything other then a magic guild hall, the logo of Phoenix Wing plastered across the face of the building, and lacrima's were embedded into the building itself, which held many defenses that Penny didn't even want to know about.

She smiled, and let out a slow breath, relieved to be home.

She entered the guild hall, not even concerned truly at the commotion-it just seemed like a normal day in the guild, she looked about, seeing her sister, who looked to be immersed in her own things, so Penny did not bother her for the time being, yet her gaze did land on Jasmine, and she hesitated. She hadn't seen much of the girl in the last two months, after everything, that seemed like something she shouldn't have neglected. She approached her, "Hello, Jasmine"

Gabriel

Gabriel entered the Frenzy plant guild hall. Over the last two months, a change had taken over the young man, his green hair, while still shaggy, had some semblance of order to it, yet Gabriel seemed to hold himself with a slightly different demeanor, a little bit more confident and sure of himself, he wore a sword at his right hip, so he could pull it out with his left hand across his body, yet he was by no means truly skilled, it was something he was working on, and the training had helped to shape him, although he wasn't muscular, he seemed to have lost the thin, wiry appearance that had so plagued him, filling out just enough to actually appear, well, present.

By his side, was Dog, whom he had renamed Fang, perhaps a childish name, yet it had been the only one the spirit would agree to. His keys hung from a ring, looped through his belt, one gold key, two jeweled keys, and two silver keys, all within easy reach. Once satisfied that Gabriel was safe, Fang disappeared, to be replaced with Leo. The zodiac spirit chortled, leaning against a wall, "Ah, Gab, you almost screwed that job up, at least you realised your mistake" Gabriel sighed, and didn't respond, reaching up to run a hand through his hair.

Master Jamie

@Joshua Tamashii

Jamie looked over as Samantha entered with Amelia, smiling at both of them. "You aren't in trouble, Amelia" Jamie said, a little amused, "I was just wanted to make sure that everything was alright, but I was also thinking. It might be time to do something special" She said, perhaps a little mysteriously, grinning.

Lazarus

The games had truly ended sourly for him, and his mind was left filled with questions with no answers. Months had passed since then, and his clone had not acted yet. He hadn't seen Wither since that night at the ball either. It seemed strange that she would appear so suddenly to see him and Shujin, and disappear without a goodbye. He didn't want to think too much into it. She had her own life. His own life was something he needed to re-evaluate. With the passing time, it was indeed apparent that he was going to be a father. The combination of everything going on, fighting for attention in his brain had totalled him. He sat in the guild hall, face slumped onto the bar counter, as if he was trying to evade all responsibility.

Mithera - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall
Mithera had bolted into an upright sitting position when Amaya had released her dragon roar, her sleeping mind having thought Hemlock had come back. She let out a mournful breath at the fantasy and slumped down, her eyes wandering around the room. Was it day already? She didn't really remember falling asleep, but falling asleep was funny like that. She spent a long, long few minutes deciding whether or not to go and help someone' in the guild feel better about their day or to just lie her head back down and go to sleep. She was leaning towards the latter, but she knew that she had (personally, not publically) taken on the responsibility of being one of the moral-boosters of the guild. She stood up and extricated herself from the table, before looking at the possible candidates for cheering up. There were the people hanging out by the job board. At least one of them always needed cheering up. Lazarus (Mayt called him Lazlo behind his back, and to his face when the god slayer pissed him off) hung over the bar like his drink was telling him his fortune, which meant he probably needed a friend as well. Fleo had just walked in too, but she didn't look like she needed any particular cheering up, her dress had just caught the shapeshifter's attention.

She took a deep breath, closing her eyes, and when she opened them again she was sitting down next to Lazarus. That was a bit of a shock to her-had she blacked out for a moment? Or was she just that tired? But she rolled with it. Maybe one of the S-Classes, like Mayt would get the others. She at least knew that Mayt probably wouldn't bother trying to cheer up Lazarus. "Hey Lazarus," she said in a gentle, vaguely melodic voice. "What's on your mind?"

Mayt - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall

Over with Amaya and the others, Mayt nodded as everyone explained everything was okay. "Okay, glad everything is alright. Holler if you need anything, though," he offered them all a smile, especially the young dragonslayer, before turning back to face the guild hall. It seemed that Penny had come in while his back was turned, and he walked over to her, his hands returning to their normal resting position in his pockets.

"Hey, how's it going?" He asked as he came up to Penny and... Her friend. He left the question open to both of them, so that it didn't seem like he was just coming over to talk to Penny. While he kinda was, he couldn't just act like that. He was S-class, like Penny, and he figured that S-Class wizards were expected be honorable and respectable and all that, so he couldn't just interrupt a budding conversation and kick someone out of it.

White Knights/Black Stars
Aggressor
Late December, X892

((Collaboratively worked on by @Burthstone, @Caits, @Crimson Raven, and@Zarkun))
((Continuation of this post.))

Jane let off a barrage of energy shuriken towards Delilah while closing the distance with her, making a series of quick slashes in quick succession before rolling behind her and using a wrist energy blade to make a quick jab at her. Though, as Jane came down with her attacks on Delilah, Gregory would throw himself in between them. He rose his walking stick and spoke. "Detonate!" Slamming the base of the staff into the dirt at his feet, a blast of force and rocks would leap upwards with a bang, throwing the initial wave of energy shurikens wide. As Jane attacked directly, a blade would appear in Gregory's hand, and he would deftly counter every attack aimed at him and his wife.

"That's three," Delilah remarked, Gregory shook his head solemnly.

"Four, Split Shadow: Arcturus!" One of the few magics Gregory had actually taken the time to master, and he made a few, unnatural, stretching movements as his shadow detached itself from him and formed into a humanoid shape. Heavily armored and equipped with a spear and a massive square shield, it stood half again as tall as its master. "Hold off the other guy with the spear. Maim him if you absolutely must, but don't kill him unless you have to. Assuming you can, of course," the almost golem-like being nodded, before bringing its shield and spear to bare against Karl. It was undoubtedly slower than the small man, but its massive armaments would probably more than make up for that.

After Arcturus had formed fully, Gregory moved between Jane and Delilah. "You challenge my guild, you challenge me. Back down, and I can promise you'll live. If you keep attacking, I will do whatever I must to defend my family."

As Joslyn, Zen, and Mithera made their way through the foothills and roads they would suddenly hear a voice off to one side. "Ice Make: Floor!" Ice spread rapidly under their feet, causing Mithera to yelp and fall flat on her face. She would slowly slide across the ice, muttering 'ow,' before it disappeared and Mark came into view. "Sorry ladies and gentlemen, but we're kinda in the middle of something. Come back later, if you wouldn't mind, and we'll kick your asses then," he had a casual stance, but that didn't mean he wasn't ready to fight.

Zen stepped forward while Joslyn helped Mithera up, his face adorned with a scowl. "You're awfully full of yourself, aren't you? Jack asses like you piss me off." The wind was kicking up around him as he prepped a spell and after making sure that Mither was alright, Joslyn joined him, and the pair nodded in unison. "Wind Make: Wind Knight!" A knight made of wind, and Zen's most mobile animated Maker spell, appeared, wielding a broadsword and a kite shield and held both at the ready. "Wind Make: Torpedo Barrage!" Shortly after, thirty torpedoes made of wind flew at Mark that would explode and knock the maker mage into the air.

Joslyn, on the other hand, was focusing while praying her teammate could keep his temper in check. However, when Zen cast his torpedo spell, she spoke and unleashed a series of Water Make spells in quick succession. "Water Make: Thrusting Lance, Water Make: Dancing Blades, Water Make: Titan's Fist, Water Make: Charging Lion, Water Make: Geyser Burn!" As each spell was spoken, the item mentioned appeared, first a four lances that charged forward, destroying any trees they made contact with, then six blades in a circle with the hilts towards the center sun towards Mark, unleashing a series of slashes in record time.

Following those, a giant arm and fist struck at him, punching where he was standing before making a slapping motion to send the young man flying through the air, where he would be intercepted by a lion charging with it's claws extended and fangs seeking something to sink into. Finally, as he would finally hit the ground, or wherever he landed as he dodged, an eruption of burning hot water would shoot up underneath him, leaving him open for a slam from the Wind Knight's shield.

Jane smirked, holding her energy blade expertly and watching Delilah and Gregory. "I've faced guys a lot stronger than you, buddy. And they had intent to kill that you lack. Don't waste your breath," spinning her blade, Jane unleashed an Energy Spear, aimed at the pair before closing with them and exchanging blows, blocking, dodging and countering with the pair. Part way through, Jane cut the flow of magic into her hilt, causing Gregory to get caught off balance as his own attack passed through thin air and she delivered a kick to his gut before backflipping out of range of anymore melee attacks. As she flipped, she unleashed a flurry of energy giant shuriken, one per flip. Upon stopping, she threw two more and reactivated her blade, the silver curve humming with life.

After Jane's first few blows exchanged with Gregory, she'd probably realize he's using magic to enhance his swordsmanship. His movements were too sloppy to be as effective as they were, though her ploy to throw him off-balance worked, causing him to grunt and cough some as she kicked his gut. As she threw the shuriken, however, Delilah stepped in. "Hungering Dragon!" The tattoo wrapped around her stomach suddenly came to life, similarly designed to an eastern depiction of dragons. It leaped from her and seemed to consume each energy weapon as it came near, before lunging at Jane herself. It would easily be beaten, however, by any kind of physical blow. By the time Jane was done throwing shuriken, Gregory had recovered from the kick in the gut.

"Five," Gregory said with a sense of finality under his breath, and watched Jane with intent eyes for a moment, before seeming to disappear. After a moment, he'd appear next to her and slice quickly at her side, before disappearing again. The strike was slow enough she'd be able to avoid it, though after a moment another one came from a different direction. These were all illusions, and wouldn't be able to actually hurt Jane, but they looked convincing. Truthfully, if Gregory really had the ability to teleport, he wouldn't of gotten kicked in the gut. His illusions were however, good enough to fool all but the most keen observers, at least for a few 'attacks'.

Jane moved in a way unexpected, dashing to the side while slashing the dragon's neck with her blade, dispersing it. She was already back in a defensive position when Gregory disappeared and so when he appeared to her side, she rolled forward, past him, and struck, only to find the blade pass through harmlessly. Illusions, huh? Easy way to deal with that. Slashing the next false Gregory down as well, Jane focused her magic into her palm without the hilt. "Energy Blade: Ranged Style: Rain of Blood!" The orb of magic that had formed in her hand shot straight up into the air and exploded a few hundred feet up, raining down a shower of throwing needles and kunai that somehow avoided all of Jane's allies. If she'd played her cards right, she had just forced Gregory out of hiding. However, while her Rain of Blood was active, she closed with Delilah once more, delivering a precise set of cuts that were aimed to disable the Iron Enigma mage.

Luna watched as Damian charged her, and her countenance changed from confused to something that indicated this fight probably wouldn't be particularly healthy for anyone. "Eclipse Armor, Blades of the eclipse," her weapons were the same ones as always; sword in her left hand, halberd in her right. She planted the staff of her poleaxe into the ground and used both hands to hold the weapon against his first attack, knowing that chances were that his weapons would break before hers did. Though she doubted that would matter; she figured he was using requip magic, so he would summon more. When the blades hit the staff of her weapon, she flinched slightly, her arms not having fully recovered from the games.

As he attacked with his next set of blades, Luna jumped backwards out of their immediate range, making Damian have to charge her if he wanted to attack again, and giving Luna a moment to think. "I don't care if she wants to come back to the guild, I just want to see my friend again."

Damian squared off with Luna. "Then there are better ways to do so than turning it into a man hunt. Or did you choose to believe whatever your guildmates told you because it saved you time?" He attacked with a quick series of Piercing Blades and then a Blade Whirlwind, which he used to keep her too busy defending to notice his flank. He brought the Hercules Blades down in an arc that she could easily intercept and then switched to his Hermes Blades, unleashing a flurry of blows from both the sword blades and the dagger blades on the pommel, leaving Luna with little in the way of offensive and defensive moves.

Against Damian, Luna was more than happy to square off rather than actually fight. She knew she didn't have the skill to beat him in a straight up fight, at least judging by his Day 1 match at the games. "I'm actually the one that found her, and pushed for us to come and meet her way out here instead of waiting for her to get back to Fiore where we might lose her again," the sixteen-year-old mage explained, bracing herself at the sudden flurry of attacks coming her way. She did her best to deflect the piercing blades thrown her way, though several caught the edges of her armor and left scratches and cuts in it. One, on her right shoulder, filled with blood as the blade passed. As the whirlwind came, however, Luna knew she couldn't keep up. "Corona!" A hemisphere of fire formed around Luna, forming a barrier too hot for Damian to get close, and too solid for the blades to cut through casually. She used this moment to pull back and recover, before breaking it with a powerful horizontal slash at Damian with her halberd, though the attack was clearly held back to give Damian a chance to avoid it. He flipped up over it, landing on his feet and instead opting to shoulder check Luna. As she stumbled, he dispersed one Hermes Blade and grabbed her halberd, wrenching it free of her grasp with an expert move and throwing it to one side before dismissing his other Hermes Blade and drawing Durandal from it's place on his back.

"I can think of three reasons she didn't want to be found in the first place, Luna. And they're all family."

Rather than charging, Damian unleashed a Three Pronged Strike, three sword blades emerging from him and flying at Luna in a triangle formation at high speeds, leaving her only up or down to escape. After she dodges, he leaps into the fight, bringing Durandal down at her in a heavy vertical strike. "Meet Durandal, the Dragon's Fang Blade. Don't count on it or it's coating breaking anytime soon."

Karl didn't hesitate as Gregory's shadow golem loomed. He feinted, as if to charge it head-on, but insted, juked to it's shield side, keeping close to it, but far enough to avoid any attack with it's shield. He ran around the golem, forcing it to turn to keep him in sight. As he did so, he lowered his halbard to the ground, and drug the tip through the dirt. Where it touched, the ground froze and ice grew. The ice formed a wall, and within seconds, it became a dome with the golem on the inside, and Karl on the outside. Once completed, Karl formed a fist, and the ice crackled, as it began to constrict. The dome was too small for the thing to swing it's spear, and it was only growing smaller and thicker with each passing second.

Meanwhile, Arcturus seemed unphased by Karl's movements around him, and as the dome began to form around it simply charged forwards, its size, strength, and heavy armor all providing added momentum, allowing him to bash through one wall of the dome. As he came out, he turned towards Karl, and made three wide, powerful slashes with his gargantuan spear at the 'Blizzard God' Valak had summoned. The spear moved fast, despite its wielder's slowness, and getting hit by staff or blade would prove awfully painful, but only fatal if one was unlucky or poorly positioned. After these strikes, careful not to hit any of the other combatants, Gregory's shadow backed away from the others so that he and his opponent could avoid friendly fire.

Arcturus swung his spear in vain. Karl dodged and weaved like a snowflake in a blizzard. When Acrturus drew back his spear, though, the head was covered in a layer of ice. Karl grinned, as it, as he wordlessly held up a finger and blew on it. Evidently, he had touched the spearhead, midswing. Whoever, or whatever he was, it was obvious that he was very familiar with combat, and highly skilled. "Well, you're not the strongest enemy I have fought, but it would be an insult not to go all out." Karl said to it. He gripped his halbard in both hands. "Blue Demon Claw!" He shouted. He thrust his halbard forward, and a massive horizontal column of ice formed, and quicky grew toward Arcturus. It had a pointed tip, and looked like it was ment to pierce. One it landed, Karl would point his spear at the sky, and after a short pause, a rain of sharp ice spikes began to fall with enough force to piece armor.

Mark reacted quickly to the barrage of maker magic came at him. "Ice/Light Make: Lance Wave!" He shouted, using one maker magic with each hand, and launched what was just short of a wall of spears, each one colliding with a wind torpedo and dissipating. The last two remained untouched, however, as Mark rolled out of the way of one, then another, of Joslyn's water spears. The spears would take down a number of trees, and the two surviving torpedoes would explode behind Mark, throwing him forward. He'd roll onto his back and shout, "Fire Make: Pillar!" A pillar of fire would rise from him, seven feet tall at most, and wide enough to evaporate the water swords swinging down at him. It would dissipate as soon as its job was done, and Mark would only just have enough time to get out of the way of the water fist slamming down, and countered the slap with another spell.

"Fire Make: Tower Shield!" A shield formed over his arm, it was as tall as he was and covered in nasty blades and spikes. The sharp points weren't what the maker mage was after however, the fire was, and the heat weathered the impact of the slap greatly, though Mark still slid backwards a good distance. The pouncing water cat, however, met a more gruesome fate as Mark turned to face it, the shield dispelling. "Light/Fire Make: Great spear!" The spear would form and impale the water-creature solidly through. What he wasn't prepared for, however, was the explosion of water throwing him up in the air, and the knight knocking him down again with his shield. "Ice Make: Slide!" was all he had to break his fall, and the ice sculpture collapsed as soon as he rolled off of it, stopping by rolling sideways into a tree.

Standing up and rubbing his head, Mark looked at them. He was panting slightly, and didn't look at all enthused. "Geez, if I didn't know better, I'd think you two were trying to kill me," He roll his neck and cross his arms. "It's no fun if everyone just gives there all though, can't we just have a friendly spar? I'd hate to have to try to kill people in front of a pretty girl," he'd mean Mithera with the last statement, and it, almost ironically, would come off as more of a casual complement than him being a sleazy douchebag.

"If I have to though, it'd be a shame, but I will. Ice/Fire Make: Lashing Floor!" He put his hands on the ground, and a surface of Ice would form as before, but this time, spears of fire would stab upwards around Zen and Joslyn, appearing and disappearing wherever convenient. Getting hit by one of these would leave burns and cuts, though they always seem to give out whenever they're about to score a direct hit. None of the spears bother Mithera however, as she was just an observer to the fight.

Zen and Joslyn moved in unison, both rolling the opposite direction of the other as the wind knight leapt to a tree branch, and all three managed to avoid the rising spears. Zen was already moving, his next Maker spell decided on. "Wind Make: Battleship Barrage!" A large battle ship formed behind Zen and opened fire with all it's cannons, the shells flying directly towards Mark and making lining up another spell difficult, though the other Maker mage managed it anyways.

After a dozen or so seconds, the fire/ice floor would dissipate, and Mark would attack again. "Light/Fire Make: Piercing Lances!" Six spears would launch themselves from Mark's hands, the edge coated in fire to try and cut through any Water in the way, and the rest made of solid Light. As the six lances launched forwards, the Wind Knight leapt from the trees, catching the three meant for Zen on his shield, pushing against them. Meanwhile, Joslyn was already throwing out another set of spells.

"Water Make: Liquid Defense, Water Make: Striking Viper, Water Make: Aqua Ninja!" Three things happened in rapid succession, all of which served to act as a cover to the previous one. The first spell raised a wall of water that flowed packwards as the lances pierced it, and a small hole opened that allowed the water viper to slither around the spears and strike directly at the caster. The final one summoned a ninja that dashed to the right and around, unleashing a series of razor sharp water shuriken towards Mark, a ninjato on her back ready to be drawn in an instant.

Zen took the initiative once their opponent's spell had worn off and took another stance. " Wind Make: Dragon Blast!" A giant dragon appeared and blasted Mark with a large breath attack of razor sharp wind. Joslyn turned to Mithera as the attacks were unleashed.

"Keep going, we'll keep him busy."

As Zens and Joslyn's attacks came to a short stop, Valak rushed Mark from where he had been sitting in wait. He crossed the distance between them in an instant, and as he did he swung his sword, aiming at Mark's neck, intending to kill. But at the last second, he changed his mind, and twisted his hand, so the flat of the blade would hit the side of Mark's head.

"Scarlet shield!" Delilah threw her left arm over her head as Jane's latest attack came raining down on her, and she closed her eyes and pulled her head to the side as she watched Jane run at her. Gregory hadn't reappeared as Jane had expected however, nor had her raining weapons found a spot where they mysteriously didn't land, and as she moved to slice up Delilah his voice rang out, calm, cool, and collected.

"Detonate," Gregory would appear, as if from thin air, directly in front of Jane and place the move the end of his staff towards her. The resulting blast would have enough force to send the girl flying, and enough range that'd it knock her off balance if she managed to avoid being hit at point blank. After this single attack, Gregory would roll his shoulders, looking at Jane intently. "Stop, now."

Damian, as he pulled the halberd out of Luna's hand, would find the thing is boiling hot, and any prolonged contact with the weapon would result in burns on Damian's hands. It was unlikely he held on much longer than the time needed to rip it from Luna's hand, however, and she was pulled off-balance for a moment. Fortunately, Damian took that time to draw the sword off of his back and speak, instead of following up on his advantage. Luna stepped back and dismissed her eclipse weapons. "Blade of Luna." A pale blue/white broadsword formed in her hands, and she held it firmly with both. "I don't care. I just want to see my friend again, I want to know why she left..." Luna took a shaky breath, before refocusing on the fight at hand. As Jane's Blood Rain started, it seemed to simply bounce of Luna's magical armor harmlessly.

"Why do you care anyway?" Luna asked just as the triangle of blades came at her, Luna expertly slid underneath the highest one, though she managed to secure another cut across her arm this way. As Damian brought down his sword, saying what it was, Luna held up her sword horizontally to meet it, tilting it so that momentum would slide Durandal down the blade and away from her with minimal effort on her part to hold up the blade. "Solar Flare!" She dropped one hand as she said this, holding it towards Damian chest. This attack was all force and little heat, she just wanted to get her opponent away from her.

Damian rolled to the side, avoiding the majority of the blast though it did spin him around slightly. Using the momentum provided, Durandal clashed against her Blade of Luna, throwing up sparks as the pushed against each other. "Because I know she didn't want to be found. And she sure as hell didn't want to see her father, mother, or brother again." Pushing Luna back, he slams Durandal's tip into the ground, unleashing a Field of Blades. This unleashed dozens of blades fowards from the sword in a cone for about ten meters. Luna would have to think fast to get out of it.

Using the moment, Damian stood back up and rested the back of Durandal's blade on his shoulder. "You're still young, I get that. You wanted to get to see her one more time, but when someone drops out of existence for years on end? They usually have a good reason and know something you don't."

Mithera blinked as Joslyn said for her to go, and she nodded after a hesitant moment. "R-right! Sorry, I was distracted," she blushed, before starting off to go get Melina. She decided to just walk at a quick pace, as she hadn't quite gotten the hang of running, and didn't want to get too many scrapes and bruises while trying to get to Melina.

Mark, on the other hand, was having a much less leisurely time, though he figured he could buy himself at least a moment of reprieve. "Ice Make: W-wall!" He stuttered, thanks to a water shuriken slicing across his chest, but a seven foot tall wall of Ice formed anyway, cutting them off from him. The structure shuttered and large sheets fell off and vanished as the cannon barrage hit it hard. Mark was going to have to figure our how to go on the offensive.

As Zen's Dragon Breath finally shattered the wall, Mark moved to attack, but heard the bushes behind him rustle. As he turned, he only saw Valak's sword before his survival instinct kicked in. "Light Make: Piercing Lances!" His body moving on auto-pilot, Mark released the spell just as Valak's sword hit him across the head. This, unlike normal, didn't stop the lances of light from leaving his hands, aiming for Valak at near point blank. As Mark fell over, he twisted to fall onto his back, still facing his attacker, who might have the tiniest moment to notice that the lances seemed to be extending from under Mark's sleeves, as if he were some common party magician.

It took a moment for Mark's vision to stop being double, and every moment it took he felt tense that he was going to be bombarded by another wave of deadly attacks. The training he had done with his magic, however, didn't let him release the magic powering the lances until he was sure that they had either hit their mark successfully or flown off harmlessly. He groaned as he began standing up, trying to get all of his opponents into view at the same time.

Zen and Joslyn knew that they couldn't move to intercept anything in time, nor any of their spells. That didn't stop the Wind Knight from trying, using the speed inherit to it's element to rush between what lances and Valak that it could with it's shield, but that still left the greater majority of them heading right for their mark.

Valak saw he had no chance to avoid the close-range attack, so he set his feet, and relied on his armor to take the blow. The spears hit him like a hammerblow, one after another. He grunted in pain as he struggled to simply stay on his feet. A moment later, it was over. Valak put his booted foot on Mark's chest, and pointed his sword at his neck. "Stay down." He warned. He stared down at Mark with impassive eyes, his armor slightly cracked and damaged from the attack it endured.

Jane once more did the unexpected and leaped forward underneath Gregory's staff, twisting and planting her feet against Delilah's shield and grabbing Gregory's shoulder's from behind. "Not yet I don't think." Pushing off the shield and making Delilah stumble back, She used the moment to flip over Gregory and then fling him towards one of the walls, unleashing a quick triad of giant shuriken after him before turning back to Delilah, though more of a spin, and sending a single throwing needle in her direction, though it would land at her feet seemingly harmlessly. Afterwords, the energy blade mage was once more in a position to keep both her opponents in her line of sight, waiting after requipping her armor.

Arcturus was not surprised at the smaller man's ability to avoid its attacks. It was heavily armored, which meant it could take and deal heavy hits, but not very fast. The golem saw the large spike of Ice beginning to grow towards it and, knowing it couldn't even begin to hope to completely avoid it, Arcturus decided to ask for help of some kind. He suddenly slammed the bottom of his weapon hard against the ground. Hard enough to catch Gregory's attention at least. After doing this, the Golem lifted its weapon backwards over its head, before throwing it with incredible speed at Karl. After sinking a significant distance into the ground, the spear would release a pulse of force into the area around it, before fading into nothingness. Arcturus, however, didn't fade yet, and Karl's attack collided with him, enveloping him in ice, but the spike itself proves unable to pierce the being's armor.

As the thing launched it's spear in what appeared to be a last resort move. Karl was unsure what it would do, so he jumped far to the side, and raised a small shield of ice. The spear struck the ground with incredible force, and it released a massive shock wave. Karl took the brunt of it, bracing himself with his halberd. After it passed, he rose, a little unsteady, but whole to his feet. "Not bad." He said as he walked up to the frozen golem. "You were a worthy opponant, but the fight is over." He put his hand on the side of the ice. "Tremble!" He commanded, as he swung his halberd. On impact, the ice shattered, shattering Arcturus along with it.

"That is taken care of..." He looked around, and located the wizard who had summoned the construct. He was currently flying trough the air, in a one way trip into a wall. Karl sighed, and leaned on his halberd. "He seems like he has a lot on his hands." The other girl was in coversation with one of Karl's allies, and judging by their faces, it was a real heart-to-heart. That left the woman. He charged her, and got between Delilah and Jane. "Two on one is not very honorable. I'll be your opponent." He said, leveling his halberd at her.

After Jane had thrown him, Gregory didn't hit the wall with all that much force due to the difference in weights between him and his opponent, and he had twisted his body to try and minimize it, so he came out of the landing effectively unharmed. Then there were the the shuriken thrown at him. One sliced open his left arm pretty bad as he moved out of the way, but the other two he disengaged with another "Detonate!" They flew harmlessly away from the fighters. After this, he saw that Arcturus had been defeated, and that the man that had been fighting him was now squaring off against Delilah. That wasn't any good, he doubted he could fend off two opponents from her at once, and he moved quickly to rejoin the fray, using his illusion magic to make it seem to Karl as if he had jumped down over him to get between him and Delilah.

Delilah, however, knew that the version appearing in front of her was an illusion, and stepped back, taking a breath. "Fireball!" It was one of her older, less creative spells, but it had had its uses in the past. Turning her right hand skyward, the tattoo of a fireball on her wrist leapt to life as a fist-sized orb that sailed over the illusionary Gregory's shoulder towards Karl.

Luna felt herself wince slightly as Damian's Blade collided with her own again, but she managed to resist his attack, and mostly keep her ground as he pushed her. The field of blades, however, was something she wasn't prepared for. Initially, she tried to just move backwards out of its range, but as the blades kept approaching, she tried instead to dive diagonally over one edge of the attack, barely succeeding. Standing up, Luna watched Damian with narrowed eyes, bringing her sword up in both hands. "L-look, I d-don't care. If she has good r-reason, then I doubt we could stop her from leaving again..." Luna swallowed, and shifted as if she was about to attack, then stopped.

A high pitch scream pierced the air, and she recognized it.

Luna took off running.

Joshua didn't push Cecilia away and let her pick out a few pieces before moving towards Amaya.
"So... shall we drop this stuff off in your room before I treat all these little scratches? Or would you rather we treat them first?" He said while picking up some of the books that had been dropped. He avoided getting drops of blood on them as best he could. Luckily he wasn't bleeding too badly so it wasn't hard to avoid.

"Something... special? Like what?" Amelia asked. She was very curious as to what her mother might have in store for her and Sam, which made her also feel a bit excited and nervous, as you never knew what direction a surprise could take. Still, it was best to trust your parents so she was willing to play along.

Royse

@YipeeXD@Burthstone
Royse smirked a little at the sight of someone using magic within the guild. As amusing as the rumors say, this guild~ She thought, taking her senior's word with a grain of salt. But, one thing's for sure, is that she needs to know how to get to the place called Crocus. She headed to the bar, taking a seat beside Lazarus. "I need directions to Crocus, just joined and wasn't too familiar with this country~" Royse asked straightforwardedly like she always did, though she had forgotten her young age at that moment.

Lazarus

He was holding a baby, his own child. It was a little girl with fluffy black hair, giggling. The whole daydream burst in flames as a ring of fire erupted from the ground, his clone laughing evilly. "Rise Lord Zeref! Bring us the the new world!" He saw a hand extend from a set of black robes reached from the ring of fire. He was shocked awake. Lazarus was so exhausted that he had fallen asleep on the bar counter.
He peeled his face from the bar counter upon hearing a soft voice beside him. It reminded him of Sasha, but it wasn't of course. It was Mithera. He wasn't really in the mood to be bothered and had half a mind to give her the boot, but she meant well so he couldn't go to that extreme. He rubbed his face lethargically "Why do you care?" He said bluntly. Just as Mithera, kind as she was, would respond, another person had rushed up to them. It was clearly a new guild member. "Crocus?" He sighed sarcastically rolling his eyes before thinking. It was just a little kid. If he was going to be a dad, he had to learn to be friendly with kids, even if they had no ties to him. Awkwardly, he forced a smile onto his face. "Sure..." He grabbed a pencil and paper from the end of the counter. "So... we're here." He drew the guild poorly. "What you want to do is take this road..." he drew a wobbly line, "...until you reach a cross roads..." He drew them. "Take the left and keep going. You'll hit Crocus that way." He handed her the paper. "Do you know who I am kid?" He was a famous wizard for crying out loud, if a kid wizard hadn't heard of him then he really needed to up his game in the guild.
He looked at Mithera. "Don't you dare tell anyone I was nice to a kid you hear?" he joked. He thought to himself, perhaps today wasn't going to be so bad.

Mithera (Phoenix Wing Guild Hall)
Mithera rose an eyebrow at Lazarus as he sat up and snapped at her. That was rude. She thought to herself, and she was mulling over a response when he turned to talk to the new girl. Mithera idly listened, and didn't offer any corrections. It was crudely correct, and Mithera didn't really know the path either. She was at least as tired as Lazarus as well, but her mind had found something to latch on to to keep it awake for now. Something bugged her about the kid sitting just past Lazarus. Her intuition was giving her some weird signals that she didn't like, and Mithera trusted her intuition more than she trusted her magic.

Lazarus managed to catch her off guard as he turned back to talk to Mithera, and she chuckled softly at his statement. "Table-sleeper's honor, I won't tell anyone you were nice to kid. Soon as she turns an adult though, it's all fair game," she smiled, and gave him a wink. She glanced up at Royse, her eyes holding the same glint of a wolf assessing what dangers its prey might be to its pack. She'd smirk lamely, and her eyes would return to Lazarus. You need to think less, she almost said, but stopped herself. Now was not the time to try to correct Lazarus' problems, and that was really kind Sasha's job anyway. Instead she would smile a little before leaning in to Lazarus, trying to speak under her breath so that Royse couldn't overhear. "Hey, I've got a favor to ask. After she heads off, could you come out back of the guild with me and cut my legs off? I've got a bad feeling in my gut."

Royse

@YipeeXD@Burthstone
Royse suddenly realised that she is on a place where she isn't supposed to be upon seeing a drunkyard drawing some makeshift map that took some moments for her to figure out. But, one year more and she is legal here. She wasn't expecting much still, so some curvy map would be good enough. She'd seen worse maps throughout her line of work, especially those from an enemy. She noticed another girl with a not so friendly gaze towards her, but she wasn't surprised by it since that look was rather common amongst the people she sees regularly.

"Oh, thanks. Err... Uncle?"

Royse took the map, awkwardly trying to be a bit more polite in her words towards Lazarus who looked pretty old to her. She walked out of the guild, now starting on her journey towards the city of Crocus, via the directions as followed from the map. First is info gathering, from client then enemy... She began scribbling down the list of tasks viable for her on the side of the map. "And since slavers are bad guys, I can do anything to them ~" She muttered nonchalantly.

Sasha

Sasha looked up from the bar at the sound of Lazarus voice, a smile forming even as she did, and she looked over to him. Her smile faltered, slightly and she bit her lip, uncertainty filling her, and she glanced away. She knew Lazarus always had doubts about himself, and...maybe about them. As Mithera approached Lazarus, Sasha slid off the stool, and moved through the hall, to the stairs, making her way to her room. Despite the fact that it was clean, it had a stale air to it, of a place that hadn’t been lived in for a little while, and she flung the window open, bowing her head, eyes clenched tightly closed.

She didn’t know if she could deal with those doubts, not right then. Not with everything that was going to happen, not with...not now. She didn’t know if she was strong enough, for the both of them, if she could be strong enough for Lazarus. She drew in a deep breath, trying to steady herself. She pushed away from the window, her eyes swimming with tears, but she didn’t let any fall, instead she let them roam over the few photos on the wall that she had, of those she loved and cared about. Some where of those she had lost. Her mother, and father. Her little brother. Others were of those closest to her, Lazarus and Penny.

On a shelf near the photoss, was a collection of trinkets. Not wanting any to get broken on her travels, especially the fish that Mayt had given her, what seemed like so long ago, when...was it only a year? It seemed so much longer. So much had changed. So much was going to change. Had anything stayed the same? Sometimes Sasha wasn’t too sure. An unfinished painting sat on an aisle, by her bed, and for a moment Sasha was struck with an overwhelming sense of...fear. For a moment, she knew that she wouldn’t call this room home for much longer. It had sheltered her, for years. It had given her a place to grow, to find who she was.

But it wasn’t a room for a family.

Sasha lay a hand on her belly, clutching it slightly. Her child. She could be strong for her child. She needed to be. She was doing everything for her child. There simply wasn’t anything she could do less. Composing herself, Sasha took the time to shower, and change, noting the minute changes in her body as she did so, the slight changes pregnancy were beginning to bring, she went through the everyday rituals and found peace. And strength. Tying her haid back into a braid, while it dried, Sasha smoothed her clothes out, before she retrieved her gear, and headed back downstairs.

”Lazarus” She said softly, approaching him, Mithera and the youngirl, with them, who was it seemed just on her way out, she nodded to Mithera in greeting, but didn’t say anything else. Right then, she wasn’t too sure if she’d be able to.

Penny

Penny looked over to Mayt, and gave him a smile, trying to make it seem like everything was okay, that she hadn’t just spent two months away from the guild with no word, and that she was ready to get back into things. Mostly. ”Mayt. Oh, you know, this and that. I’m doing well, what about you?How have things been around here?” She asked, intending to get caught up with most things in the guild, and get back on track, even slightly.

She hesitated a moment, before saying softly ”Mayt, I’d like to speak with you, and Master Jamie. Damien if he’s about, as well. I’ve found some information about...Phoenix Slayers...about me.” She hesitated, glancing about the guild, ”And Ariel. If she’s here...I need to speak with her as well”

It wasn’t what Penny had intended to say, and yet as she said it, she knew it was something she needed to do. This wasn’t something she wanted to go through herself, and perhaps she could find some answers. She wanted to speak to Damian by herself, but if it worked out differently...then that was that.

Jamie

Jamie smiled, although there was a hint of sadness in it, ”Why, training Amelia” She said softly, ”So that you can both know how to defend yourself, if we can’t be there for you” She said, her eyes glancing over to Sam for a moment, sadness and pain flooding her for a moment.

Ariel - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall

@Caits@Zarkun@Burthstone

Well so far it looked like several members were coming back from their long time away. Ariel didn't immediately jump at the chance to say hi though, she had a plate of food she had to eat. Eating it up quickly Ariel leaned back in her chair she closed her eyes and just took a moment to ponder. There was nothing deeply pressing going on for her at this time. Somehow that seemed odd with everyone else running off and being busy with big jobs or journeys.

Actually with people coming back and the notes that she'd read it sounded like things might ramp up. The rumblings of something. Danger? Adventure? The unknown? Hard to say. However whilst lost in thought she swore she heard her name mentioned somewhere in the room. Glancing around no one seemed to be addressing her directly so in might have just been that her name came up or she was hearing things. "I'm here! Did someone need me?" Turning her chair she stood up and wandered toward the center of the room so she could spot if anyone was trying to find her. Realizing it was Penny she headed over. "Hey there. You've been gone a while." She smiled brightly though it was hard to read the mood of everyone else at the moment. "So what's up? I heard my name." She placed her hands on her hips casually and waited to hear what was going on.

Phoenix Wing Guild Hall
"Oh," Mayt said as Penny mentioned that she needed to talk to him and the other big-shots about phoenix slayers. That meant it was going to be some pretty heavy stuff. "Yeah, sure thing. As for the guild, its been well the past few times I've stopped by," he offered Penny a slight smile. If he was going to be honest, he had been spending a good deal of time avoiding the guild as well. He still didn't feel S-Class, and had a lurking fear that Jamie would make him do something which his title naturally required of him and he would fail miserably. He looked over at Ariel as she came over, and opened his mouth to talk, but closed it again. He figured it would be better for Penny to explain. Mayt looked over at her. "That's best for Penny to answer, I'll go and get Jamie. Do you want me to grab Sasha too?" His eyes flitted over to the bar where Mithera, Lazlo, and Sasha were as he began to move towards the door where Jamie's office was. He moved slowly, so as to not break away from the conversation before Penny gave her answer.

Mithera looked up when Sasha came over, and gave her a semi-enthusiastic nod in greeting before standing up and patting Lazarus' shoulder. "I'm just being grotesque, that wasn't a serious request," she assured him, before beginning to walk towards the door of the guild. "Toodles~!" Once she was outside she glanced around, spotted Royse, and started following her. She kept fairly far back, and would mostly act like she wasn't following Royse. While she walked, she contemplated why she was following the girl instead of doing something more enjoyable like curling up for a nap. It never occurred to her to think about her visibility, and if Royse was practiced at all in spotting people following her, Mithera would stick out clearly.

Damian Gerard|The Calm Before the Storm

Damian's path through Magnolia to the guild hall could be described as meandering, since he was in no particular hurry to get there and he had somethings to think about. He had noticed it during the Games, his own magic beginning to grow and change in a way he couldn't quite place, along with what he thought might be dormant magic in his gift from Hemlock, as he had noticed that certain slices made with Durandal carried a certain visible purple energy, and the wounds inflicted by it to Hyun during their match had seemed to also carry a touch of poison. It was almost certainly something he'd have to investigate before he put too much more use to the great sword. Still, as he stopped to look over the leftover Christmas candies for sale in a shop window, he decided that stopping use of the sword all together would be both foolish and an insult to the passed Dragon, who had raised a member of Phoenix Wing as his own.

Waving at the shop owner as he walked away, he smiled to himself. Phoenix Wing had proven to be a good choice in the end, even if they weren't always the best liked or most highly thought of by both the general populace and their fellow guilds. Given time, as the guild hall finally came into view, Damian hoped that all the guilds would, to some degree, be able to get along and even work together on a larger scale. Pushing the door open and closing it behind him, the Blade of Phoenix Wing spotted the person he'd been hoping would be there and quietly snuck up on her, tickling her sides and saying, "Boo." He then realized that both Mayt and Ariel were there, though the former was slowly walking away, and smiled at the pair. "Mayt, Ariel, good to see you both."

James Hunt|A Student's Tribulation

James had spent the morning, before even the sun was up, training. He worked through forms, attacks, spells, and physical training, all designed to push him to his limit and then some. He had begun to feel his magic power growing and his abilities changing in subtle ways he couldn't quite nail down. As he entered the main area of the guild, in his armor as always, and spotted his student sitting at a table with some food and drink with what looked to be a job request in front of him. Raising an eyebrow, the Paladin approached Cody and took a seat across from him. "So you finally decided on a job to put all the practice into use?"

Hunter Jorgenson|Striking While it’s still Hot

Hunter grinned, but didn't move to attack, only seemed to take stock of his opponent. He knew that she liked to use a fair number of different constructs from her Glass Make magic, but he didn't know how her martial skill was compared to his own or even Jackie's, as he hadn't let them continue fighting long enough to get a feel for it. So, he decided to go with what was the chosen opening for a couple of different famous Dragon Slayers from history. Encased in Jade, the Dragon Slayer's Steel Fist technique shot straight forwards towards Aria's midriff, testing her reflexes.

Jasmine Lockwood

@Caits@Burthstone@t2wave@Zarkun
Jasmine was startled out of her thoughts by a voice suddenly appearing before her. She took a deep sigh of relief when she just saw that it was Penny, smiling nervously as she returned Penny's greeting.
"H-hello Penny." Jasmine's hand went straight to playing with the hem of her dress, twirling it around her finger anxiously. She opened her mouth to say something else when another voice once again startled her. This was one, she wasn't sure who it was.
In a flash, she was hiding beside of Penny and nervously watched her and Mayt go about their conversation. She wasn't too sure what to say. She wasn't used to so many...people. Her parents usually dealt with people and Jasmine would hang back.
Her eyes flicked towards the third person to arrive...Her name was Ariel? Yeah, Jasmine was sure that's what Penny had said. And from what she had heard Penny say, this was Mayt?
Whatever these three seemed to be talking was apparently important. Should Jasmine really just be standing here listening to it?
She went to open her mouth again, but shut it just as quickly when she was startled by Damien's sudden appearance and subsequent 'boo', even though it wasn't intended for her of course it still frightened the girl. She almost seemed to jump out of her skin before passing out on the ground quite comically, her face pale from fright.
And was that her soul leaving through her mouth?

Cody Bloodstein

@Zarkun@hatakekuro
As if in a daze, Cody looked up from the request he had been absently staring at in his hand when he heard someone speaking to him. As he thought, it was James. Watching as James took the seat across from him, Cody nodded briefly and placed the request on the table so it was clear to see for the Paladin.
"Yeah I was thinking of this one. Though I'm not sure if the two of us can handle three or more gangs by ourselves...thoughts?"

Penny

Penny looked over when Ariel approached, giving her a kind smile, yet it soon faded, and she gave a small sigh. “I needed to do some things...Ariel… things are becoming more and more dangerous, out there, for Phoenix’s. And Phoenix Slayers. I… I was thinking it might be time to teach you a few things. And there’s something else, you need to know” She said softly, looking over to Mayt and shaking her head, “No...leave her for now.” She loved her sister, but she didn’t want to burden her just yet.

She was taken by surprise as Damien tickled her sides, and she turned into him, smiling, relief and happiness filling her. “Damien” She said, her voice full of pleasure, she had missed him and found it heartening to know he was there. She wrapped her arms around him, and gave a content sigh. “I missed you”

And she realised that that made her decision so much easier, when she had to make it. There was no life, without Damien. She looked over and smiled at Jasmine, “Hello, Jasmine, how have you been?”

Attention

A rumble seemed to echo across Fiore, a deep vibration that shook the earth, growing fainter as it reached the far reaches of Fiore, yet it could be felt everywhere. Those near the ocean might be able to see something, from the corner of their eye, a large pillar of water soaring into the air.

A large black object floated with the water, and then was gone. Magnolia shook with the rumble, and Sasha looked up, worry filling her, her face growing pale. She looked about, and bit her lip. Then she drew a deep breath.

Amaya Vanisis

Interaction with: @Joshua Tamashii

"I say let's atleast put these books in our room then tend to your wounds" Suggested Cecilia as Amaya was managing to calm herself down from her freak out. "I don't care if there is some blood on them..they are just books that have probably been copied many times over..Not like their ancient one of a kind. Once they are in my room we do need to get the ice from your face, I would hate frostbite to form and cause a even more time to heal then before"said Amaya feeling bad for freaking out like that.

After a few minutes the books were in her room as she looked at Joshua about to say something before feeling the rumbling as she looked around "What the..."she gasped curious of why there is a massive shake.

Raiden had helped Elyse warm up with a bath and just finished helping her choose a winter outfit when he looked down at his bare feet "Something...has distributed the foundation of this world.."He said to himself as a few moments after he felt the vibrations coming then the shake "The ground....it is incomplete right now.."he said taking in the vibrations and shaking listening to the element he used and exist for...He needed to find the source...but should he, even he didn't know for sure if he should cause that meant leaving to travel for who knows how long, miss out on the family that has been considered dead till recently...he had to make a decision.

Royse was taken away by surprise from the sudden earthquake. Stopping on her tracks, she turned around to look, noticing the same white haired girl she saw back at the bar happening to be on the same path as her.

"Just what happened?"

Calmly, she asked, her eyes rolled towards Mithera for a moment, now leaning against a wall to keep herself stable from the tremors. Not sure if its just her, but something tells her that this isn't some mere earthquake.

Magnolia Streets
Mithera gasped as the tremors started, and almost immediately lost her footing and fell to the ground. She sucked air through her teeth as the cobblestones scratched up her knees. Once the tremors stopped, the white-haired woman stood up and began brushing herself off, glancing up and around to check her surroundings. She gulped and felt her cheeks get a little hot when she saw that Royse had spotted her. She played it off as just being surprised by the earthquake, and walked up to the girl. "Well, that was odd," Crossing her arms over her stomach, she glanced at the other people on the street. "I don't think I've ever even heard of an earthquake shaking this place that much," Mithera tried to put on a nervous smile as she mentally rehearsed what she'd say if accused of having been following Royse.

Phoenix Wing Guild Hall
"Alright, I'll just get Jamie... But whatever it is, you have to tell Sasha eventually," Mayt said, his face somber. He was about to turn and go, but stopped to watch Damian sneak up on Penny. He nodded when Damian acknowledged him. "Good to see you too," he said before turning back to go get Jamie as he said he would. He had only just opened the door to the office when the world began shaking.

"Holy Sh-sh-sh-sh-shiza!" Mayt said rather loudly as the door swung open, revealing Jamie and the two kids of the guild. He hung onto the door frame until the earthquake passed, hoping his Guild Master wouldn't get too righteous with him for almost shouting a curse work in front of Amelia and Samantha. Once it passed he straightened himself and nervously re-adjusted himself. "Well, uhm... As I was gonna say, Penny wants to get together and talk about some things she's discovered. Seems like, uhm, that's going to happen anyway now but, yeah. She's apparently got info on Phoenixes and Phoenix Slayers that's important," he said casually, before looking and giving a small smile to the kids. Turning back around, Mayt pulled the door half-closed behind him before going back into the guild hall proper. He glanced around for any spilled glasses or people to help with.

Joshua carried the books upstairs with one hand. As he walked he removed bits of ice from his face, to reduce the risk of frostbite. It hadn't occurred to him until Amaya brought it up and he was thankful she had because frostbite would have SUCKED. When they reached her room he had gotten most of it out. None of the wounds where bleeding too badly, none of the arteries had been hit by the looks of it. Just as he placed the books down, the room began shaking and Joshua needed a second to recover his balance, being caught completely off guard. When it stopped, he looked at the bag of books before deciding to crack a joke.
"So... how much did those books actually weigh?" He said in a lighthearted tone.

Elyse Yashia

@Roseletta

Elyse had been enjoying her time with her grandfather, being a bundle of energy and happiness. However, she let out a scream of fear when the earthquake occurred, hugging Raiden's leg as the ground shook. She didn't know about earthquakes but she knew that whenever the guild building shook, it meant something bad was happening.

Amelia Averyonna

@Caits

When Amelia heard the reason her mother had called for her and Sammy, her expression turned thoughtful. Her thoughts went back to the Grand Magic Games and her match. Although time had passed since then, she still criticized herself over the loss and accepted that part of it was because she couldn't fight for herself. She replied too heavily on her spirits and that in turn made her completely helpless if an enemy got past them or she was unable to summon them.

Her thoughts didn't get much further on the subject before the room began shaking. She instinctively grabbed Sam to keep her close but managed to stay on her feet. During the quick surprise she heard someone behind her shouting in surprise. When the earthquake was done she let go of Sam and turned to the person in the doorway. It was Mayt, telling them that Penny wanted to talk to everyone before leaving. She turned to her mother, wondering what Jamie would do now.

Aria waited and when Hunter finally launched his attack, she reacted quickly and smoothly, using her Mirror magic to summon a mirror to not only block his blow but return the force behind it back at him. Whether it would hurt him or not, she didn't know or care as she then used her Mirror Magic to summon several more and surround him. The mirrors then began glowing brightly, trapping Hunter in a dome of light, though he was also surrounded by his reflection in all directions. This would act as a prison, trapping Hunter inside allowing Aria to put some distance between them, wondering how he would get out of his prison.

Ariel - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall

Curious now, Ariel changed to her Earth magic. What was going on exactly? From what Penny was saying there was something major on the horizon that put them, and her specifically, at risk. Apparently there was also a few things she needed to learn and be told. Ariel could only assume it had to do with her Phoenix magic. Up to this point she'd only ever used it once since the Magic Games. It was still one of her stronger magics and probably had the greatest effect on how she acted next along with her Green magic. It wasn't quite like the other magics where she had a particular emotional inclination. It had more behavioral leanings and felt compelled to do certain things.

Setting aside that thought for now Ariel put herself back in the moment. She nodded to Penny but looked concerned for a moment. "Uh, okay. She wasn't entirely sure what to expect. However she suddenly tensed up, her magic warning her of the incoming underground shock wave. The ground shook but whatever cause it was too far away for Ariel to identify with her magic. It was big though. "What the heck was that?"
