S-Class Meeting with the Director

City A :: Headquarters

@FallenTrinity@SpookySquid

A week passed since the successful defense against the alien invasion and other small scale attacks caused by other beings. City K, City S, and City T are still undergoing repairs in certain districts, but overall city life was returning back to normal. As it stands, the Hero Association control 23 out of the 26 cities across the continent. The entirety of City Z, City Y, and City X remain occupied by powerful monsters and criminals. There has been many attempts by the Hero Association to take back these cities, but all of which have failed.

Danzo, also known as The Commander of Headquarters, has summoned all available S-Class heroes to participate in an urgent meeting. No information was given on what the meeting is about.

"There is no doubt that City W is the next target for those damn bastards...In the past we were dealing with scattered uncoordinated attacks. Now, it is evident that there is a Mastermind behind their recent behavioral change." Danzo addressed, as he placed the Monster Association's invitational card on the table.

"This was retrieved from City X last night, courtesy of Dillinger. Unfortunately, he didn't make it out alive himself...But thanks to his sacrifice, we've learned that we are up against an entire organization of monsters which also consists of humanoid members. With thorough investigation, we have confirmed that a sheer number of them have already blended into society. It is quite possible they already infiltrated our ranks as spies...Which leads me to say this..."

Danzo slowly stood up with a petrifying gaze directed towards the S-Class members who were present and slammed his hand onto the table.

"Which one of you bastards murdered Dillinger last night!?!..."

Dillinger, a young rookie member that makes Mrs.Pickles look like Guardian in comparison. While his bad luck often caused him to get into troublesome situations, he was fully capable of holding his own with a very powerful handgun. However, his handgun wasn't enough to help him this time around. Last night during a scouting mission in City X, he was murdered by another S-Class hero in cold blood.

Shredder
S-Class Hero Rank #10

Shit! It's a trap! I should've expected this meeting was about THAT. I got careless. Calm down...They don't know it was me yet. If I play it cool, then I can shift the blame to the other members who are absent. If I can pull that off, then my status in the Hero Association will be set for life!

Tash kept a low profile at the table, waiting for his opportunity to speak while he observed some of the members arguing with the Director.

The rumors of City W being the next target for the Monster Association has spread like a wildfire and probably caught the attention of every hero within a short amount of time. Unlike most rumors that go around, this one appears to be true. The ground violently shook on main street, a giant armored monster jumped out of the tunnel it had created underneath the road system. A Demon level threat has appeared...

The giant stood over 16 feet tall, its armor thick and stronger than steel.

"I AM NASHORN THE DESTROYER! COWER BEFORE ME HUMANS AS I-..." The monster stopped shouting for a moment, quickly realizing there were no civilians on the streets. Most of them had already been escorted to the evacuation zone due to the rumors, giving the heroes a much wider battlefield.

"Well then...this just makes my job extremely boring."

Nashorn brought his large hands together for a thunderous clap, causing the building windows on the street to shatter. This caught the attention of two nearby heroes who were patrolling around the area together. The two heroes arrived at the scene and immediately attacked Nashorn. Unfortunately, they were only C-Class and posed very little threat to him. Needless to say, he effortlessly defeated them.

The two heroes were still alive, but in critical condition. "Is this what the Hero Association is nowadays? HA! Pathetic!" He mocked the fallen heroes and turned to continue on with his destruction, starting with main street.

There were some things Mold just didn't do as a rule. Top of that list was injesting enough coal to fatally poison an elephant. Alright, maybe not top of the list but it was definitely ON the list. But, today the HA said it needed heavy hitters, and heavy hitters don't die from a single body blow. So here she was, covered in plates of compressed carbon, juicing her muscles as strong as they would go and dreading the purge she was going to have to do in order to get all the carbon out of her body. It'd take at LEAST a week.

Another thing she didn't do was juice her muscles or throw her hearing wide open to hear every footfall in the area. Really that list should be called "things I say I don't do then do them anyway because I'm an idiot."

And this is why, when one of the patrols went down, Mold was running around the corner seconds later. She didn't waste time on banter or demands, instead leaping directly at her victim's chest and digging her armored claws into the metal, trying to rip the plating apart.

She also didn't waste time waiting for backup.

Being what was essentially a monster in the Hero Association, wasn't the easiest life. Even with her great test scores and peaceful introduction into the association, there was lots of mistrust and as a result, Light was placed as a lower ranked B hero. If it wasn't for how good her test scores were, she would've been a C, but honestly her rank didn't matter too much to her as now she could live in the human world, which was much nicer than the monster one.

Even if a few sections of the human world were constantly under monster attack. At least the rent in those areas was cheap, and most monsters tended to look her over since she was one. But that didn't stop her from fighting them if they caused any damage or threatened anyone. And today was no exception.

Getting a call to head to District W, Light made her way via a series of wormholes she created herself until she was high above the W district, a giant metal monster attempting to terrorize everyone, having already taken out two C class heroes who decided to be the first responders. "Again?" Light said to herself as she opened one final wormhole and appeared on Nashron's head, one of her other hero comrades known as Mold already attacking the giant metal guy's chest.

Sliding down to his face, Light tapped on Nashron's head to get his attention. "Hey, why are you even bothering to terrorize? No ones here and now your probably going to die. Heroes always win." She said, a bit bored with how he was violent like the other monsters she had seen so far, and not so bright either.

City W

Shindo was dispatched to City W to patrol. Apparently there was some talk that a monster might appear there or something like that. At first, everything was silent. The only ones roaming around were heroes. The civilians have all been evacuated. They only based it off some rumors that maybe it would be the next target. It was Shindo's free day and he had planned to continue his search but that was abruptly stopped thanks to this mission. He was annoyed, to say the least.

A particularly loud sound caught his attention and he turned towards the source of the roar. It wasn't too far. He put on his half mask and then threw his hood on before surging forward, becoming a blur to everyone else and then skidding to a stop near the scene. He saw that Mold and Light were already at the scene - with the former mercilessly attacking the gigantic mech-like monster and the latter looking incredibly bored at what was happening. He outranked the both of them but for the mere reason that he's earning points from the masses because of his habit of prioritizing them over fighting the villain because it was the best thing to do with his kind of power.

Noticing the two critically injured C-class heroes, he muttered a curse to himself. Neither of the two even moved to take the two to safety first. Maybe it was because they thought that it would be best to attack first and leave the medical aid for later? If that was the case, then Shindo had to do what he does best. He activated his super speed once more to take the two to safety, a couple of blocks away from the scene where the monster was. He was careful while he carried them, hoping to not agitate their wounds any further. He had to do a quick patch up job for them to prevent dying from blood loss. He pressed his finger to the earpiece he had that was connected to HQ.

"This is Flash Forward requesting for medical backup to come to City W immediately. I have two critically injured C-Class heroes. They are at The Wild West Bar."

With that done and he made sure that they were safe and would not be dying anytime soon, Flash Forward darted back to the scene. He paused for a moment. This was a particularly large monster and he doesn't even see any flesh openings so there weren't much he could do as of now. He needed something to use. He was sure that it would break his fists if he were to ever use his hands against something like that. His eyes darted to the electricity poles that lined the streets. Could he use those? Break one and stick the open ended wire against the monster and see if it hurts?

But for now, Flash Forward remained stationary, waiting for an opportunity.

City A - HQ

Himeko had been woken up very roughly on that day but a sudden announcement in the PA about an urgent meeting between the director of HA - Danzo, a person she has known personally thanks to her living here. She had stayed out late last night in a stakeout at City Z, one of the more notorious cities as it has been under the villain's control for quite some time now. Himeko's face has never been well known as she wears a full mask and her body type is unknown thanks to her using a loose jacket and cargo pants. Because of that, she can go on covert missions and if something were to go wrong...

Well, no one really worries about that. Well, not much at least.

She came back around four in the morning in an exhausted state as she had to fight a group of wannabe monster villains on her way back to City A as they thought that she was a mere civilian and they wanted some extra pocket money. Thanks to their own powers and their forms, they were more durable than what she expected. She wouldn't go as far as saying she severely underestimated them. They had managed to take a toll on her because of their number to as it was a four to one battle. Needless to say, they were apprehended.

Himeko wanted nothing more than to simply sleep and wake up in the afternoon to begin her duties. But Danzo didn't want that to happen and had to call up that emergency meeting. She had no choice and she slumped onto one of the seats, head lulling forward as she waited for the others to come. When they had all filed in, she finally woke up and then put her eyes on Danzo as he began speaking.

Her eyes tore away from the man and to the card. Oh, so they were an organization now? The villains were now really making themselves known and she guessed that none of the members of this Monster Association were pushovers. Now that their attacks would be coordinated, she knew that they were going to be worked to the bone. Upon hearing that Dillinger, a rather young (but still older than her) hero who had no powers whatsoever but had his trusty handgun by his side, had died, her mood had obviously dropped. He was someone she enjoyed talking with as he was relatively close to her age compared to the other S-Class people.

When Danzo's piercing gaze swept through all of them, Himeko knew something was wrong. He brought his hand down on the table and Himeko instinctively flinch. Danzo suspiciously and angrily asked them which one of them killed Dillinger. Her thinking momentarily paused.

An S-Class hero... killed another hero?

Yet another person who she finally has come to trust disappears. Gets killed. And to think the murderer was within their class. This was just... unforgivable. Other heroes started to pipe up to argue with Danzo for their innocence. She stayed silent. Since she was a person who lives in HQ and only ever left for missions or when she does leave so she can buy something for herself, she felt safe from Danzo's suspicion.

These bastards... really don't know when to quit, do they?

It seemed, as usual, Niflheim was one of the first group of heroes at the scene. Her long dress fluttered around her ankles, Hell's Mirror held delicately in her hands as her feet were placed precariously on the edge. She was as still as a statue, and if not for the gentle rustling of her clothes in the breeze she could have easily been mistaken for stone. Her cold golden eyes narrowed at the giant. It seemed another hero had already gotten close... foolish. An unified would have been most effective, especially considering his height since he most likely would move quite slowly and would not keep up with a barrage of attacks from multiple directions. Or maybe that was just her way of thinking...

The Violet Reaper gently pushed her feet off the ledge and landed eloquently upon the broken street, glancing around at the debris curiously. This would be a pain to fix...

Finally, her eyes settled back upon the monster, a soft sigh leaving her lips. Niflheim brought her scythe around her back in a sweep, a sching ringing out in the semi-silent area as the bright blade slid against the broken concrete. Yet another hero had joined the battle, only making it more difficult to get a clear shot with her scythe.

"Heroes. I suggest you move out of the way." She stated bluntly, and as she did Hell's Mirror bursted into violet flames, flickering and shooting out violently around its blade as if just barely contained. Niflheim could just avoid the other hero on the monster's snout and wait for the attacker to back down, but that would simply be a waste of energy.

A thin girl stomped her way back and forth amongst a couple of side streets on the outskirts of the city, teeth grinding in annoyance as a floating broomstick drifted tentatively behind her.

"Rrrragh! This is so unfair! This is one of the busiest days at the salon, and what do you know? A stupid monster comes poking his damn head in from the ground! Do you know what I could have bought with all those tips, Broomy? A couple new outfits, and really cute tight ones too! Ugh, why does this always happen to me?!"

If a broomstick could emote, a sweat drop would be comically dropping from its brow at this moment as the witch plopped herself down on a sidewalk curve, grumbling to herself in annoyance.

"Being a hero is great and all, but not when it interferes with my career as a beauty specialist! It's so irritating! And, all I'm doing is monitoring the outskirts. How blegh is that?" Vivilyn made a disgusted face as she laid down on her back with a prompt groan of annoyance. This was the worst day, ever!

"Hmm?..."

Nashorn spotted the heroine coming from around the corner, charging towards him at full speed. Ha! It was just another futile attempt to stop him. He made no effort to defend himself, however he did plan on attacking right through her. Nashorn slowly brought his arms up in preparation for another clap, leaving his massive chest wide open. What he did not count on was the heroine's ability to damage his armor.

I-Impossible!!!

It caught him off guard for a second when he realized that his chest plate was ripped open, which exposed the purple flesh underneath. The giant took a step back, which brought him closer to the electrical poles, and tried to process what just happened. He always believed his armor was impenetrable, yet somehow this human managed to tear through it like paper. Come to think of it, her appearance is much different compared to the other humans. The moment he was about to launch a counterattack, he was confronted by yet another hero in one of the most bizarre ways imaginable.

"What the-!? How the hell did you get up there?! Get off my head!"

Nashorn brought his large hands together in attempt to crush the heroine above his head, while at the same time cause further destruction on the street. Unlike his previous clap, the power behind this one would be enough to knock back any nearby heroes away from him. Parked cars on the street would turn over sideways, while glass shards from the buildings and lighter debris would be pushed through the air in all directions, turning into shrapnel. However, this attack left him in a vulnerable position by leaving his chest unguarded for a brief moment. If the heroes could withstand or recover from the attack quickly enough, then it will be highly possible to defeat Nashorn while his weak point was still exposed.

City W

Flash Forward was quite impressed with the lower ranking heroes. They deserved to be of higher rank. He still made no move against the monster as it seems they had it handled. What a role model. He tilted his head to the side when he heard the familiar sound of the blade scratching against the ground. There stood Violet Reaper, her scythe bathed in flames. It didn't look all too stable. He tilted his head. Ah, here comes the cavalry. Seriously, he should have just stayed by the two critically injured heroes. Which reminds him, had the ambulance arrived? He hoped it did. They didn't look like they'll last any longer.

He took a look back at the large monster. It had been damaged by the first hero who leaped straight towards his chest and ripped his armor open. The monster had staggered back, now closing into the electric power lines. Oh? There was a live wire that was dangling there, probably caused by his earlier attacks while fighting the C-Class heroes. He looked down at his hands and then back at the live wire. He should be careful handling that. He then looked back at the exposed chest. He looked at Violet Reaper. "The chest." He said. "Let's aim for that." Though he'd only be able to launch his own attack after Violet Reaper makes her move. He can't risk going in front of those flames and taking on the brunt of it.

Before he could say anything any further, the monster had clapped his hand over his head to try and catch Light. It caused a small shockwave that was enough to push them away. He clicked his tongue but he had quickly managed to recover. He blinked, the world going slower. No, he'd have to risk it. "I'll be quick." He told Violet Reaper before charging forward, his speed making him a blur. He quickly took hold of the open-ended electrical wire and then used his extra momentum to help fling him upwards and towards the chest. He pushed the open end towards the exposed flesh, hoping that the live electricity would flow into the monster and then landed safely back on the ground and sped away, returning to his original position near Violet Reaper.

Pain.

It took a few seconds for Mold to struggle through her agonyand shut down her pain receptors. She was lying face up on the ground several yards away from where she had been. Closing her eyes, she spread her focus through her body, trying to figure out what had happened. The answer her body had given her was not reassuring.

Twelve broken bones, six ruptured organs, major spine damage, fifty two open blood vessels, and lacerations across her entire body. She must look like she was already dead to anybody else. Probably the only reason she was still alive at all was that her brain was encased in a shell of carbon. Still, by the time she was up and moving again, the right would be long over. Instead, she calmly began work on repairing the damage, starting with the critical organs first.

Getting squished by two giant hands wasn't the worst thing that had happened to Light, although her squeak couldn't be heard over the giant shockwave that had knocked everyone else away. Still though, getting squished literally as flat as a sheet of paper with a pained expression on her face wasn't the most pleasant feeling in the world. But being a toon, such an injury didn't really bother her for too long. AFter mumbling an "Ow" to herself, and the monster clearly convinced he squished Light to death, Light put one of her super flat fingers into her mouth and blew into it, popping back to normal shortly after.

At least her injured companion left a hole into the monsters innards that Light could use to teach the brute a lesson. Flexing her claws, she used them to scratch down the metal monster from her perch down to the injured spot with the intention of just popping in and shredding the monster's innards like a butcher. Though while sliding she did notice a live wire get unreasonably close...

Allister had been at the church for a large portion of the day, tending to his garden there as well as assisting those outside of the church with the reconstruction of the surrounding buildings. It had been quite a few hours of intense work till he had gotten a call from the director. Currently, the members of the church, Fathers, brothers and sisters all had either a tool in hand or assisting in preparing lunches for the workers. Angel Grace had been helping with the realignment of some of the buildings with her light magic. She only stopped for a moment when Guardian got a call.

"What is it sweetie?" Guardian gestured for her to hold on for a second as he was filled in. She of course pouted in response.

"Guardian speaki- Oh, Director...How can I...Well, I'm currently helping with the reconstruction of City T, why? Right. Okay then I'm heading there now. Goodbye...It was the Director. Urgent meeting. I'll be back later." With that he turned and made his way to the meeting. It was a bit odd that the Director didn't mention the reason for the meeting, putting him a bit on edge but not to the point he felt worried. Before entering the meeting, he glanced at everyone there, offering a wave and a smile, despite a few annoyed looks they gave their respects, one of the things that all heroes could agree on. When The Guardian greeted you, you greeted him back. It was more of a silent code rather than a concrete one. It stemmed from his consistent need to help someone, whether or not they asked for it. Guardian sat down next to Shredder with a nod.

"Sorry I'm late everyone, had been helping City T with the rebuild." Luckily he had made it in before the director began speaking. He knew he would hear about his tardiness later but something was off about the director, more so than other days. The meeting began and quickly took an interesting turn. Another association for monsters? Guardian leaned back in his chair as he thought about it. He didn't think monsters were capable of these kinds of things but "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" seemed to be a very interesting fit here. What came next was shocking and immediately put Allister on edge. One of those in the room killed a fellow hero? Guardian's eyes narrowed as he began scanning the room, even glancing over at Shredder who sat next to him. His attention went back to the director.

"Sir, for the past week I have been in and out of the hospital, checking on Dreadlock as well as helping in the reconstruction of City T. My alibi will check out if you get a hold of the hospital logs and talk to the foreman in City T, who I have spoken to personally. However, I feel everyone in here needs to speak up about where they were, who they were with and cross reference that information expeditiously. I do believe we have access to that bit of information Director, do we not?" He asked as he slid back in his seat and moved himself against the wall. If there was a traitor amongst them, he wasn't going to take the chance in being literally and metaphorically stabbed in the back.

Elsewhere, Jayce stood upon a building overlooking Main st. in City W, currently observing his new little experiment at work. His eyes casting a gaze akin to that of a scientist watching his rat subjects with sadistic glee hidden behind a abnormally calm demeanor and yet, the sides of his mouth ever twitching in amusement to her stupid ignorance of what she agreed to. He squatted down on the edge of the building, retrieving his smokes from his pocket, lighting one up and exhaling a small plume of smoke as he watched.

"Oh Reaper...Don't let me down..." He looked behind him as he heard the pitter patter of small footsteps. He glanced behind him to see three wolf-like creatures Growling at him. Jayce studied them for only a moment before grinning and looking back down to the heroes below. He gestured with his head and whistled, within the whistle a low hum came through as well, to which these wolves seemed to jerk their heads to the side, their heads splitting in for parts before letting out what was considered a mix of a screech and a howl as they sprinted forward, leaping off the building and charging after the heroes at full speed. Their target, Violet Reaper. Jayce stood up and turned around to leave, smirking as he did.

'Let's see how well you handle this Violet...'

The three wolves charged forward, one leaping at the monster with the other two splitting off and making their way to Violet, dripping from their mouth with hunger.

Niflheim Sokolov

The Violet Reaper
Location: City W, Main Street
Interactions: @chukklehed@Archmage MC@Animal@FallenTrinity@Polaris North

As she watched the two heroines be swatted away like flies, a deep and annoyed huff left the Ukrainian woman. One of them had certainly done damage, which helped as a target, but otherwise they should have stepped aside.

Niflheim gave a slight jump of her shoulders as someone spoke to her out of nowhere, she turning her head quickly to see the speedster Flash Forward at her side. The chest, huh? That's what she was going to aim for anyhow, but she appreciated Flash's help.

The Violet Reaper turned back to the matter at hand and lowered her head as she glared at the giant, bringing her scythe just slightly behind her as the flames seemed to bubble around the blade. "Charge." Niflheim had been training a whole new set of skills that she was dying to try out, and this pest would be the perfect guinea pig. The only issue is it would take a minute or so to charge up...

Luckily, Flash was on the case. Watching him speed off, she gave a firm nod, and gripped the scythe tight. Just a little longer...

But, the Reaper's now hyper sensitive ears picked up something. A... howl?

Niflheim flung around, baring the pole of her scythe to just barely block foaming fangs from reaching her jugular. From the corner of her eye, she noticed one of the same beasts leaping for the giant. Were they wild? Either way, they had broken her concentration, and that pissed her off.

The woman's hair flicked in the air, the atmosphere around her boiling like lava. The blade of the scythe swung around at a blinding speed, knocking one from the pair of wolves off to the side. The second wolf would receive the blade in its scruff and under its shoulder, swiping it multiple feet into the air.

"Spin strike."

Next, the purple haired woman had joined the mutt in the air, bringing the scythe around and slamming it into the wolf's chest cavity. The scythe was swung in a circle twice before the wolf was flung into its companion on the ground, causing a small crater from the impact.

When she landed, even Niflheim seemed surprised. In training, that attack was never so powerful... it must be from that serum. Her golden eyes flicked to one of her gloved hands in awe as she raised it, as if she would be able to see the newfound strength radiating from her palm.

But, the wolves were up again, albeit dizzy and in pain from the blow. Niflheim clenched the fist she had been gazing at and spun away. She did not have time for this, there were bigger matters to deal with!

Ripping the long skirt from her belt to show the skort underneath, the now more free moving Reaper raced forward. Her speed, her senses, her strength, her durability— everything was so much more powerful and easier to control! It filled her with euphoria, of such freedom!

The Reaper raised her scythe and leaped into the air, bringing it around across the weak point of the giant's chest in full flame, ignoring whoever else was in the way.

"... THATS IT! I can't sit here any longer! Cmon, Broomy, let's see what's taking so long."

In her lovely pink witch-styled outfit, Vivilyn sat sideways upon her sentient charmed broomstick and flew gently above the fight. Flames, electricity, blurs, and all just from a few people! Yeesh, no wonder she was only B-Rank.

But, something caught her eye. Most of the handful of people there were on the ground, fighting as they should be. But one bozo was walking away from the whole thing! The Pumpkin Witch wasn't any Guardian or Lightning Princess, but she didn't just leave! If you're going to show up, you oughta do something.

Who even was this guy? Vivilyn certainly didn't recognize him, but hell was she going to give him a piece of her mind.

The Witch swooped down onto the building, landing with a 'hup' behind him on the rooftop, leaving her closer to the edge.

"Hey, buddy, what are you doing here? Are you a hero, or what?" Vivilyn called out accusingly at Jayce, taken a few steps forward, arms crossed against her chest (or lack thereof.) "If you are, you aren't doing a very good job. Even I wouldn't show up to a fight just to leave. That's low."

Broomy floated nervously behind her. It was as if he could sense something off with this person...

S-Class Meeting with the Director

City A :: Headquarters

@FallenTrinity@Polaris North

Danzo shifted his attention to Guardian when he spoke and listened in to what he had to say. There was no doubt in his mind that Guardian and Lightning Princess were innocent, but he required confirmation from every hero. The Director let out a sigh and adjusted his tie, finally calming down. The past few hours were a bit stressful on him.

"Forgive me for my rudeness earlier, but yes, you are correct Guardian. We do have some of the information available. Which will make this process easier."

The Director opened up a hologram on the table, displaying information of each individual in the room regarding their whereabouts yesterday.

"Just before all of you arrived, the surveillance team managed to gather brief information of your last known locations from yesterday. Quite the few of you were still active around the time Dillinger was murdered. However, in order prove your innocence please cooperate with me and swipe your identification cards on the table...this will ensure that the information here is correct. If not, then I guess you can say we found our culprit."

Shredder
S-Class Hero Rank #10

Shredder pulled out his card, but was hesitant to placing it on the table. There was something off about this whole procedure, never once they had to use their ID card for anything other than gaining clearance into HQ. His eyes shifted to one random member who scanned their card on the interactive table and was approved by the system, indicating their alibi checks out.

Are you kidding me? These things have some kind of tracker built in?! Damn it, I'm screwed...It doesn't matter if I scan my card in or not, they will know either way...

Feeling like all hope was lost, his grip on the ID card in hand loosened up and dropped to the floor. He didn't even bother waiting out the other members to finish scanning their cards. The Director's attention was focused on Shredder, who noticed that he was lowering his head in defeat. Shredder's lips began to quiver, until he started muttering something until it was made clear that his words were "I did it...it was me..." It took him three tries to get everyone at the table to hear him. He couldn't bare to look at anyone and remained slumped over with his head down.

So it was Shredder...Did not expect him to fall for my bluff. If he were to scan his card, the program would've approved him regardless. None of the IDs contain those kind of chips yet. Thought I would have to resort into using step two...but I guess that can be saved for another time. I cannot let him escape, he has crucial information about the Monster Association that we must know!

The Director gestured Guardian and Lightning Princess to cease him, however they would see blood trickling out of Shredder's mouth. Could it be...suicide? Shredder did have sharp teeth and the jaw power to crush the entirety of Nashorn like an egg. It wouldn't be too far fetched for him to bite off his own tongue, sacrificing himself to protect the Monster Association.

It all happened in an flash. Nashorn thought about wiping out the entire block with his next attack and be rid of any other possible heroes in the area. He also believed that he defeated and killed the two heroines with a single clap. Unfortunately for him, another pair of heroes showed up. There was no way he would have noticed the live wire coming towards him in time. Although at the last second, what he did notice was the Toon girl had recovered from what was supposed to be a fatal blow and was making her way down to his chest like nothing had happened. This would have kept him distracted from the wire or that one wolf lunging at him.

"H-How are you-"

The giant did not seem to realize that he was being electrocuted, all he felt was constant pain all over his body. While the shock was not enough to kill him instantly, it did leave him stunned and defenseless. Just enough for Violet Reaper and Light to deliver the final blow.

"GAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" He screamed in agonizing pain.

Blood gushed out from Nashorn's chest after his innards were butchered and boiled up by the deadly combination of magical flames and electricity. His gigantic body collapsed backwards and left him sprawled out near the middle of the road. Barely alive, the giant tried to regain movement in his fingers, but the injuries he sustained to was far too great for him to move. It was clear that victory belongs to the heroes today...

I...underestimated these guys...need to...call for backup...somehow...

Once Flash Forward stopped, that was when he noticed some deformed mutts fighting Violet Reaper. The woman had already damaged two of them. They seemed to ignore him when he got there. Were they targeting the other hero exclusively? Though, it would seem that the female had other plans and turned away from the three mutts and then launched herself at the giant monster who, in turn, roared in pain and fell backwards with a loud thud.

He blinked. Was it just him or was Violet Reaper faster than usual? As a speedster, he always had an eye for those kinds of things. The speed at which she had launched herself was on another level than before. Or maybe it was just his imagination. He guessed it was because of training or something. Nevertheless, her power up really helped them today. The male hero looked back at the mutts and saw that they haven't moved to attack him in particular. Well, he'd rather take them out now than let them wreck havoc later. He picked up a small chunk of cement and then sped towards the one mutt that wasn't injured and then slammed the rock onto its head while not stopping. The speed on which he was travelling plus his own exerted force should do enough damage.

However, he then noticed one of the heroes lying on their back. He approached them and stopped. She looked absolutely horrible, but she wasn't asking for help nor did she look like she was in any pain at all. "I was going to ask if you're alright or if you need any help, but it looks like you're doing fine Mold." He knew about this hero, Mold, and her ability to control her body on the molecular level or something like that. But he wasn't sure if she was completely alright. "But should
I get you to the ambulance? One's waiting for us at the next few blocks."

City A - HQ

Himeko looked at Allister... Guardian as he spoke of his whereabouts and how everyone should tell them where they were. She guessed that would be for the best. However, before she could speak up, Danzo already told them that everyone's last known locations were already collected by the surveillance team so she decided not to speak up anymore. She looked at the holographic screen and saw her own information there - showing that she was in City Z.

She looked at up Danzo once more when he said something about swiping their identification cards to confirm their locations. Was there a tracker in there or something? However, she obliged with Danzo's request and stood up to swipe her own card. She didn't care if it would reveal anything or not since the cards were only made to gran them access to HQ. However, before her time was up, she heard a card land on the ground.

Himeko sharply turned to the direction of the sound to see Shredder. He was muttering something and she inched closer. When his words became clearer, her eyes flashed with rage. Sparks flew from her skin but she managed to reign it in. There was no use going on a rampage and endangering everyone inside. She might get suspended because of it. She took a deep breath and calmed herself down. She turned to Danzo who motioned for her and Guardian to cuff him.

The brown haired girl moved to apprehend him when she saw blood trickling from his mouth. It would be dangerous for her to approach him, with that biting power of his, but she did so anyway. "Face your consequences Shredder." The venom that accompanied those words were unusual for someone like her and she quickly moved to pry open his mouth. If he decided to bite her, she knew a certain voltage that would render him unconscious but alive. "And as far as I know, biting your tongue off would take a particularly long time before you die."

This big guy really was all bluster, no brains. Heck, he somehow just let Light tear into his exposed innards, slicing up whatever she could reach. Things were going good, monster was stunned, and everything was great. Well, besides Light being in the middle of her teammates attacks as they aimed them at the monster. Sure their combination of high voltage electricity and fire made a wonderful roast of the innards Light had butchered up, A wonderful smell as if someone had been cooking beef on an open grill. But... she wasn't unscathed by that friendly fire.

First came the electricity, which Light reacted poorly too. Once she started to get zapped, a very loud and audible "ZAAAAAAAP" sound could be heard over and over as her skeleton flickered in and out. Then the fireball came. Stunned by the electricity, she couldn't jump out of the way and was scorched much like the monster innards she had carved up. Thankfully this stopped the electricity, but after a few blinks from her eyes, her body blackened by soot, she coughed a plume of smoke and fell out of the monster's chest cavity, hitting the ground face first and leaving an imprint of herself on the road.

After a little bit of resting, Light pulled herself out of her customized crater, shook herself clean of soot, and looked back at the collapsed giant that looked motionless, but apparently still alive. Wanting to look cool, she picked up a small bit of charred monster meat that had fallen beside her and used her wormhole to appear at the monster's face. Sitting down on top of his nose so he could have a clear vision of her, Light took a bite of the blackened monster flesh she brought with her like a sandwich and said. "Hey, I did warn you, you know. Could've surrendered, But oh well." She was curious as to what the others would wanna do with him.

Looking at her companions, she saw that one of them was heavily injured but didn't seem to care, with... Mr. B1 helping her? When did he get here? And Ms. Reaper? Well, at least that made sense at where said fireball came from. And dog corpses? Guess this big lug came with some tiny, tiny reenforcements. "Hi guys! Whatchya wanna do with this guy?" Light yelled, waving at the three of them with a wide grin on her face.

Mold focused her vision enough to look up at Flash Forward. He had always seemed to have a better eye for the big picture than she did, and typically came prepared for anything. It didn't Surprise her at all that he had an ambulance on standby for any reason. A gurgling chuckle rose from her throat, and her voice when she talked sounded like it was being filtered through an inch of water.

"So thoughtful..." she said, coughing to clear the blood from her throat. When she spoke again, her words were a bit clearer. "I wouldn't mind a little help at that, if nobody else needs it more. I've lost a lot of blood, and replacing it on my own will take a lot of time." Mold closed her eyes, tired from her rapid healing. "'Fraid I won't make it far on my own. Even I can't heal broken bones that fast."

Guardian didn't even hesitate for a moment when he slammed his hand over Shredder's face with enough force to knock out teeth and put him on the ground before sending a rather large voltage through his body, hopefully enough to knock him out. Afterwards, he placed Bjorn on top of Shredder's body, guaranteeing the Director he would not escape. "Someone go get a mouth guard now!" he ordered before once again gripping Shredder by the face but along the mouth area, using what force he could to hopefully pry his mouth open.

'Are you fucking kidding me? This bitch seriously better go the fuck away...' He thought with irritation before turning back to her with a bit of irritation.

"What the hell do you want?" He asked shortly. Asking if he was a Hero he simply rolled his eyes as he retrieved a cigarette from his pocket and lit it.

"No sane civvi is going to watch a fight from up here are they? Tch...Yeah I'm a hero but I came at the end of it." He gestured at the falling giant before glancing back to her.

"The fight was nearly over stupid. There was no need for me. Besides I'm trying to figure other things currently..." He walked over to the edge of the building and looked down at the wolves fighting Violet. Knowing she would eventually ask "like what", he glanced over to her with a serious face.

"Like which Heroes of the HA are planning a coup on HQ..." He narrowed his eyes on the field, watching those below. He had blatantly lied to her to throw her off and with news of that stirring up after Mrs Pickles's promotion, it's rumor was slowly becoming facts.

@Polaris North@Cherrywitch

The wolves were thrashed about, specifically those attacking Reaper. Their heads split in half, flopping about as they regained their footing on the ground, seemingly reattaching the split through viscous like veins and, if one was to look closer, tendrils. Both began to circle her, but the one who moved behind her began to hum and screech behind its snarls and short barks.

"A girl has grown..." The one behind her spoke up in pitches that only Reaper could her. The one in front of her spoke up as well.

"A girl's usefulness has increased as well..."

"This one was sent to test a girls limits..."

"And this one to exceed the limits..."

"The other one is sent to watch over the test...Something big is to come..."

"Yes...This one's master has come back from the dead."

"To make the human's one with him."

"A girl is only given one chance to prove her worth."

"And a girl's chance is now..." They both lunged forward for Reaper, one from behind and one from the front. The one lone wolf paced back and forth as watched the fight, snarling and glancing back at the other Heroes.

Light was waiting patiently for her allies to finish whatever they were doing before she could give a reply. B1 wasn't too worried about the lady who was really looking messed up, so Light figured she was fine as well. Though those dog like monsters that Light figured were part of the big one's backup regenerated somewhat from their chopped up state and attacked Ms. Reaper. Well, two of them did. A third just stayed there to try to keep others out of a fight.

Thinking of a great joke she could do while helping Ms. Reaper, Light created another wormhole and popped out of a hole in front of the dog monster that was attacking Ms. Reaper from behind. Holding her arms out wide, Light grabbed the dog out of the air in a huge playful hug, snuggling it very tightly, almost to the point of looking violent. "Aw, aren't you a cute zombie dog? I'mma hug you, and squeeze you, and call you Fred..." Light said in a fakely sweet voice, snuggling the creature and swinging it from side to side. Light was more acting as a distraction so Ms. Reaper and B1 speedster could handle things.

The male raised an eyebrow at the gurgling chuckle followed by an equally disturbing gurgle of words, nearly incomprehensible. However, once she spat out the blood, which did not seem to bother the male, he understood her clearer. "Overall? You're the one who's most damaged, to be honest." Flash Forward said. "So I guess it should be fine for you to be the one sent to the ambulance." He then crouched down, sliding his arms around her. "Aandd, here we go!" He heaved and then carried her upwards. It didn't seem like he minded her weight. To him, she didn't weigh all that much. He's carried men before, men with huge ass bodies. When your major lies within saving civilians, you'd know a trick or two about carrying anyone and everyone.

He then turned to Light, who was standing on top of the barely alive colossal monster. Before he could reply, he heard snarling and saw that all three mutts weren't dead yet - which was odd since he knew he did enough damage against them. Two of them were circling Violet Reaper, preparing to attack while the other stood guard, snarling at them instead of the Class A hero. "Nevermind the giant, he's dead anyway! Go and help Reaper!" The male ordered. "I'll be back as soon as I get Mold settled into the ambulance!" He then looked back at Reaper and then to the monster toon and then to Mold. "I advise you shut your eyes. You may get a little dizzy."

Light already seemed to have the same idea as the hero jumped into action and bear hugged the third mutt. Flash Forward wasn't sure if that was a good idea, given how powerful the mutts were, at least, from what he had seen them recover from. But he did see Light get out perfectly unharmed from a massive electric shock and fireball that took down the villain they were fighting with earlier, so she might be fine. He turned his head towards Reaper. "I'll be back in a flash and I'll aid you however I can once I do." But somewhere in his gut, he knew that she wouldn't need any help. It was just a gut feeling though.

With that out of the way, he stepped forward and began to run. Mold would only see a blur of the surroundings around her. A minute or two passed and Flash Forward stopped and the scenery was completely different. No monster, no mutts, no other heroes, just some buildings and an ambulance only three feet away from them. "She needs some blood... no, a lot of blood, so you better get her to a hospital."

The nurse nodded and then Flash Forward placed her on top of the stretcher bed. "Want me to go visit after?" He asked, truly curious and worried for the well-being of his fellow hero. He could always time it with visiting Dreadlock who was in a coma. "Or will you already be alright before I even get there?"

Mold smiled at Flash Forward, starting to focus on shedding her plating to make caring for her easier. "I'm still human you know. I'll live, but I need to recover a lot. Go help Madame Tight Britches, and when you get to the hospital I'll be in the room with the most flowers." She winked at Flash, then made shooing motions at him. "Go on now, a hero's work is never done. I'll call in to HQ on my way out and let them know the situation."

Niflheim Sokolov

The Violet Reaper
Location: City W, Main Street
Interactions: @chukklehed@Archmage MC@Animal@FallenTrinity@Polaris North

Reaper landed with utmost grace back onto the cracked concrete, eyes wide as she stared at the near dead giant before her. Again, her power had far exceeded what was usual before. A soft smirk twitched at her lips, but she forced it down, only to quietly turn her attention to the bubbly figure calling and waving at her. Niflheim opened her mouth to speak, when a searing pain stung in her frontal lobe. The woman buckled slightly, pushing her scythe into the ground and leaning on it for support as she held her head.

A-ah! D-damn it... it's lesser, but it's similar to that agonizing pain that went through my body when I first received the powers. Is my body still not accustomed to it?

Through the pain that clouded her senses for a brief moment, she could hear talking, a conversation. It wasn't the voices of her comrades calling to each other, it was two other voices, ones she didn't recognize.

A... girl? Are they talking about... me?

Taken aback, and only just hearing their approach, Niflheim gripped Hell's Mirror and readied it before blinking in surprise as the bubbly toon girl appeared out of nowhere and viscously cuddled one of her canine attackers. Instead of staring, Violet Reaper turned with a deadly look towards the second shadowy wolf. "I thought I already got rid of you..."

As Hell's Mirror's blade bursted into erratic flames once more, Reaper winced and held her left eye in pain. It feels... like it's going to explode! She grit her teeth from the pounding pain in her head and behind her eye, just getting her scythe ready for Flame Strike.

But, before she cast the move, something happened. Only the wolf watching and the attacker would see as black tattoo-like inky tendrils slid out from the left side of her face and filled her eye so it was nothing but a pool of black. The flames on her scythe grew larger and were filled with new, black flames that seemed heavier and as if they didn't fit, like they were some virus in her power. "Go... away!" As she swung the scythe down, fire raised into the sky almost as tall as the giant they had just slashed down, it not its usually violet color but blackened with the inky flames. The fire was so unbelievably hot it melted the top of the concrete as it cut towards the wolf in a rampage, faster than a speeding beast. As she watched the attack strike the poor creature, Violet Reaper noticed that she couldn't remember even doing that. It was subconscious almost... and now, her vision was growing blurred.

"D-dammit..."

Her knees buckled as she sank lower against the pole of the scythe, before ultimately slumping on her side, face against the bubbling hot concrete as her eyes stared out dazed. If someone was fast enough, they would just see the tendril-like tattoos retreating back behind her hairline until she was back to her normal appearance. Niflheim struggled to keep her eyes open, mouth slightly parted in silence. Whats... happening to me?

Vivilyn Trainer

The Pumpkin Witch
Location: City W, atop building on Main Street
Interactions: @FallenTrinity

The coup against HA? Yeah, Vivilyn thought she had heard something about that. Unsurprisingly, the blonde wasn't too absorbed in the Academy's affairs and what was going on internally unless it personally affected her. Guess that's why she's considered selfish, but...

This somewhat piqued her curiosity. So this weirdo thought that one of the rebels was here, fighting? Huh. The witch delicately walked up behind him, crouching and peering over his shoulder with no care of personal space. In fact, the Pumpkin Witch was only maybe an inch or two from Sinister's face. Ignoring him almost completely, she followed his gaze to one of her favorite heroes— and, not for shallow reasons, of course.

"Huh? You don't think the banging Russian chick is in on it, do ya? Reaper is like the golden child of loyalty, hell would freeze over before she turned on the academy." Vivilyn stated blandly, standing upright and swiveling on her heel swiftly away, already losing interest in this bozo. "Hottie Violet is definitely off the list. I don't know much about her except her body measurements, but she definitely isn't a rebel. Sorry to burst your bubble, Mr. Neurotic." Leaning backwards, she fell easily into a sitting position on her broom that was all prepared to catch her as it lifted her just a foot in the air. "But, whatever. Do whatever floats your boat. I'm going down to help the hottie out. See ya~" Vivilyn gave a half fast wave of her hand as she crossed one leg over the other, about to go down to the city level.
