He grinned at Enz, cocking his head to one side
"If you want to take the little sister spot around me you're going to have to fight with Tay... Though she'd probs pay you to take it from her."
He grinned still, looking to her leg
"You might want to go to the nurse. You might want to get more familiar with your limits so you don't hurt yourself."
Later on, as soon as Lunch break started, Marius slid to the back of the classroom and placed a meaty hand atop Taylor's head, moving it around in a circle rather menacingly.
"So, how you liking your first day huh?"
Taylor grabbed his hand and glared at him
"I will turn your hand into a pig's tail if you keep doing that. It's okay, the people seem nice enough."
She gave him a rather tired, cold stare. The two were childhood friends, it's only natural they'd stick together on the first day. She didn't want to feel trapped in an old friend group though, but decided having lunch with him like always wouldn't hurt. Besides, knowing him...
"I have money for lunch too if you didn't bring any."
Naturally, he'd have already made her lun-.... Taylor gave him a very confused look. That enough told Marius what she was thinking.
"You always got to at least give a new place's food a try. I only made lunch at our old place because the food sucked but this is UA, it's probably way better here."
He grabbed her by the wrist and hoisted her from her chair. She rolled her eyes, yanking her hand back to her own posession and brushing off her skirt, straightening her hair.
A few minutes later they sat opposite each other like an awkward couple. Any day this would seem strange, but they looked far more comfortable than the entire cafeteria of strangers desperately trying not to look lonely on the first day. He grinned at her embarassment, raising an eyebrow at her.
"You're blushing, are you thinking about how the other girls will be jealous?"
"No, you're just taking playing with your food to another level."
He frowned as what was beginning to form of his Burger-and-fries Taj Mahal sunk back onto his tray, causing him to grin and thrust a finger forward, telekenetically poking her in the forehead. She visibly looked angry by this.
"I will HURT you if you bring that thing back."
"But I liked it as a thing.."
He frowned again, before it disappeared into his natural dopey smile. He didn't finish half his food; after all he'd ordered things just to try them. His verdict was rather mixed, deciding some days it would be an okay bet to bring money instead of packing a lunch. As classes went on Marius listened attentively taking notes with his hand now showing off was over. Marius never had trouble with his grades, effortlessly finishing the school day before thinking a moment, leaving Taylor to herself and leaving.
Back at the Dorm block later on he got on with his homework, finishing it rather early. As he got done he heard the cafuffle in the hallway. By the time he'd gone out however it seemed to have ended, and he decided to head into the town to buy some cup noodles, chocolate and soda.
Continuing from where left off in Marius' post
She struggled with some of the work in the afternoon, rolling her eyes and giving up on it for the most part, spending a lot of it with her head in her arms. When the bell finally went Marius seemed to be nowhere around and, with a grunt, she blasted him a text saying he owed her chocolate for ditching her. There wasn't really a walk home however from UA, which made her a little sad as that used to be most of the time they spent together bar with her friends at lunch, who were there as much to flirt with Marius as to hang out with her. She simply made her way back to the dorms to sit and be antisocial in her room until the next day, unless anyone started conversation with her on their way out of school.
