I once wrote the If I Ever Become an Evil Overlord... list into a script, and it was pretty funny. Think a better version of the show Gallivant + Ming the Merciless if he was smart. The premise is I play the intelligent evil overlord, implementing all of the things in the list. The overlord even has a copy of the list in scroll format. You play one of the characters in the list, whether it's his trusted lieutenant or the epic hero, and you must not only try to foil the diabolical plans of the evil overlord, but also be entertaining.

"What's stopping you from just god-moding as the evil OverGM? It looks like there's no point because you're going to win no matter what."

Well two points: 1) This is about having fun, not being a hardass, and just making really great puns. And 2) I think it would be interesting to see if following the list would actually prevent any hero from taking down this evil overlord. If I do something like smite your character with lightning without a good IC explanation, call me out. I've been writing, RPing, and storytelling for over twenty years. I think I know just a little bit about being creative.

I am putting this in the Free section, though I expect everyone to be smart about it. I have discovered that the Advanced section isn't so much Advanced in storytelling, as it is simply putting a lot of words on a page. And I've seen some pretty amazing RPs in the Free section that I personally think should go to the Advanced board. So even though this is going to be in the Free section, don't let that deter you, elitists. You can have fun too...

I have a catgirl in mind - are they allowed? She's going to be working under your Evil Overlord. She's a naive, a ditz and maybe a little anxious plus paranoid. There's a good reason why she's joining the villains and I can delve into that more once the OOC's up. My catgirl comes with a nice backstory and a free packet of confetti.

In the meantime, she'll be a violator of Rule #2: "My ventilation ducts will be too small to crawl through". She did just that in her first stint as a villain many years back.
