Heh. Let me know when you update it? Otherwise I might miss that it’s been edited.

Well, still fluffy, anyway. ^.^ Will do! Like I’ve said, if you get any ideas or anything, just say something! I’m 100% sure it won’t become a chore. I found a collection of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland on the Kindle for free, so started reading some of Alice in Wonderland (though admittedly found myself skipping paragraphs of dialogue at a time). Did you know that the Tweedles don’t show up until Through the Looking Glass? I didn't. Shows how much I know about classic literature, huh?

Glad you found a place for Sting! Oh, nice about Captain America’s shield. Hmm. Think attaching some kind of string to it using glue (hot glue, or some other glue that might hold, but wouldn’t damage it) and hanging the string on a hook?

Compounds are nice because once you pull the string back, it sort of locks into place and takes some of the weight off so you’re not constantly pulling back the poundage of the bow, where your normal, “bare-bone” ones usually have you constantly pulling that weight back. Lets you get in more shots before tiring out. Thanks for letting me share the information! I hope you get the chance to try archery again, only with a bow suited for your current strength. Archery uses some odd, usually neglected muscles. A lot of people have to start off with low poundage, then work their way up.

Exercising is good for the soul... once your muscles stop feeling like Jell-O. xD Really? Wow, that’s quite the winter! I was just always too lazy. Heh. Decided about sixteen months ago I was tired of it, and started working toward getting in a shape that wasn't a circle.

Oh, and for a warning (in case you do not see my status), things keep coming up, so my posting keeps getting delayed. Figures. xD If it isn’t one thing, it’s another! As Neil Gaimen so wisely wrote, “… events were cowards: they didn’t occur singly, but instead they would run in packs and leap out… all at once.”

Of course! I will be sure to let you know once it's complete. :D

You know, up until this role play I wasn't always interested in Alice in Wonderland. I liked it, but I wasn't a big fan or anything. Now I've the desire to collect some merchandise and read the books. This RP is so enjoyable to me that it's become it's own fandom, heheh. :P Let me know how you like the books! I'm surprised to hear that the Tweedles didn't show up until then, though. o.o I always envisioned them coming into the story early on (then again, my knowledge is limited...like Ghent, I'm basing this from the Disney movies. )

Hey, that's not a bad idea! I'll see if that would work for the shield. If worst comes to worst, I am contemplating selling it (I sell a lot of things, huh?...) and using the money for some decor around this place. xD

I'm really excited to dig up my bow from the garage and give it another try this summer. I feel like it'd help get me into better shape, and at the very least, it'd be fun for my youngest sis. She's really into outdoorsy activities. Good for you for getting yourself into shape! :D It's not easy to become motivated...I'm the queen of lazy sometimes.

Heh, no problem! Trust me, I've been in the same boat. Take all the time you need! I've been so behind on orders that I haven't gotten to finish the Elayra and Ghent chibis yet. ; - ; I have so many ideas planned! All in good time, I guess. :)

Your mention of the book got me interested and I googled an Alice in Wonderland audio book on YouTube. (They have so many, I'm amazed!) As I work on orders I am listening to it.
This is the first time I've ever listened to an audio book while working, and it will not be the last. This is absolutely perfect for me!

So, thank you for the inspiration to do this! I'll let you know my thoughts on the story as well. ^~^

P.S - I LOVE your avatar! Two days ago my sister and I watched Howls Moving Castle and I had forgotten how good it was (I'd forgotten how good looking Howl was, too! ) I can't help but relate to the man...I mean, he got a moving castle to avoid responsibilities...*laughs*

Since I managed to forget to say it, WOO! You made the 100th post!

Also, just wanted to say, I love the Miles and police issue! And the way you describe Miles: “No matter what day, he always resembled an old, disheveled miner, minus the pickax.” Yes. Just, yes. If you don’t mind my asking, do you have a particular plan in mind for him at all?

I’ve thought the concept and remakes of Wonderland were interesting, but never really had the desire to read the book(s). Alice’s dialogue still drives me insane. xD But I’ve gotten ideas, her dialogue aside. It surprised me, too, about the Tweedles! I looked them up to find out what chapter they came in so I could try to read it online, and I kept getting referred to that one. I like the nursery rhyme for them.

Ooh, audio books! I suppose it’s not surprising that there’s a lot of them. It isn’t exactly copywritten anymore, I believe. Hence being capable of finding the book for free, and no one getting sued for doing their own remakes and getting it published (like The Looking Glass Wars, to which the back story for this has similarities, without delving into the details). You might finish before me! I’m on… chapter eight. I love audio books. I used to listen to them when I’d get on the treadmill. Made time pass quicker. I’m one of those people who enjoys all the story mediums (audio, kindle, and physical), since they each have their own advantages. Basing Ghent’s knowledge on yours means you know exactly what he knows. That’s a good thing! And now, you’re expanding your knowledge! Woo!

I hope you find something that works for the shield! Hey, I think it’s brilliant that you sell things you aren’t going to use or otherwise enjoy, and using that money to get something that you will.

Oh! You actually have a bow? Sweet! If you find it, I’d love to see a picture or get a link to a site about it! I hope you find it. I would definitely recommend archery as a hobby… other than with crossbows. Those are cheaters’ weapons. It will work your back muscles, and upper arms, for sure! If you ever want any tips or suggestions, feel free to ask. Or don’t, because I’ll take no offence!

Oh yeah! I forgot that you were going to make chibis of them. I’m still really happy for you that you HAVE orders to be behind on. Better than having none! I started making some things to put on Etsy once, but then I just got lazy. Heh. Still have the stuff for it, just not the motivation.

Thank you about the avatar! Howl’s Moving Castle is tied as my favorite Ghibli film. And I know, right?! It’s almost scary that animated characters can be considered “good looking,” but he definitely fits the bill. Hmm. Put like that, I wish I had a moving castle. Plus, you wouldn’t have to worry about gas since it’s powered by a ‘scary and powerful fire demon.” It was either the gif I have now, the picture below, but I’ve been in a gif mood as of late.

No way! 100th post?! How did I miss that??

Congratulations to us! May the next 100 be just as spectacular!

Hah! Thank you! I am so pleased you liked that!
I hadn't planned much for Miles, (adding him here was completely spur of the moment!) but I think he's got some potential to cause trouble for our characters...hmmm...I'll have to mull this over.
Also, Elaya's reaction cracked me up. Ghent so had that coming. I know he's a pain, but I figure he'll have room to grow and *hopefully* mature as the story goes.

We have a treadmill! I will have to try that as well! You know...you have a lot of good fitness ideas, ever think of being a personal trainer? xD
So far, I'm on chapter 4, which is shameful in comparison. Lately my mother and sisters have been in the room watching cooking shows and I'm unable to listen in peace. From what little I've heard, I am enjoying it a lot, even more than I thought I would.
Alice's dialog is pretty bizarre -- she's certainly...unique, isn't she? Makes me wonder if she hit her head on the way down the rabbit hole.

I've been spending the last few days cleaning out the garage. Once/if I find the bow I'll be sure to send photos your way. :D

That's very true! I'm thankful, but I get stressed out when I take on more orders than I can handle. I have a bad habit of doing that.
If you ever decide to open up an Etsy, or if you have any questions about it, let me know! I've been on there for 3 years now. Which is pretty crazy.

I believe you've mentioned your favorite Ghibli film, but it's completely slipped my mind. What was yours, again? My favorite is Spirited Away. After seeing Howls Moving Castle again, I would definitely place it as my close second.
Last week, I bleached all of my hair for the first time. I was hoping for blonde, but...like Howl, it turned orange. Unlike Howl, I didn't have a meltdown. *laughs*

The Calcifer is adorable! Mmm. Bacon...
reminds me of this

I like your GIF better! ^.^

Well, you’re quite brilliant with spur of the moment stuff! If you wouldn’t mind a suggestion, what if Miles ultimately ends up being the reason our guys get past the cops? Maybe… he’s one of those world jumpers who got trapped on Earth when the portals were sealed off (the depression for which turned him into a drunk)? You have a good setup for that with how suspicious he was. Would also make an interesting, mysterious contact when we have our guys do their own world-jumping and head to Earth. If that sounds interesting to you at all, I’ll tell you what you’d need to know for him as a world-jumper (...think that should be hyphenated, or capitalized... or both?)!

I liked the whole situation, including that flaw of his. Well, since Elayra’s immediate answer to practically everything is to (or threaten to) either shoot it, stab it, or punch it, one shouldn't expect anything less! Maybe both our characters will see the chance to grow.

Awesome about the treadmill! Ha! Thanks. I have, actually. But, school. xD Maybe I’ll look more into it. Find out how much about the human body one actually needs to know for that. Heh. We’ll see. :-)

Nice! Chapter 4. Not shameful at all. They go by quick, all things considered. What about using headphones? Would that help at all?

Ooh, spring cleaning! That’s always fun. How’s that going? Make a decent dent? Find anything interesting to get completely distracted with, and forget that you were cleaning out the garage? Those are the best finds.

Awesome! Thanks! I will, on both accounts regarding Etsy. It's impressive you’ve been on there for three years! Yeah, I can see that being an issue, taking on more than you can handle. Do you do custom orders, or put things you already have made on there? Or both. “Both” is always an option.

:-O I swear, I’m not just copying when I say this, but Spirited Away is what Howl is tied with. Wonderful storytelling, and beautiful animation.

Ha! That’s just… just… I bet you look lovely with orange hair. But aww. Now THAT would have been a sight to behold! That was probably one of the best temper-tantrums I’ve ever seen.

Oh. My. Gosh. And all at the mention of getting rid of bacon. xD

So, uh, while I should have probably been doing something productive in my free time the past couple days, I drew the Shadowmire! WOO! One of them sitting and scrunched together, and the other stretched out. I even figured out a way to make their eyes look like they glow using Gimp. Totally cheated and copied the finished outline (yay for light-boards) and just gave it a different color job. Painted the red one, and used colored pencil for the black ones. I have my complaints, but they work… I hope. I’m sure the red ones’ eyes weren’t black, but, well, they blended in with the body if I didn’t do that. ANYWAY, they’re the “two of clubs” our guys encountered. Click the hider below for downsized versions of the scans (they were huge, otherwise)! If you approve, I’ll add the pictures to their “Wonderland Terms” section.

I thought confetti seemed fitting. Though, your gif is almost impossible to complete with. I mean it's The Emperor's New Groove! What's not to love?

Whoa! Mind blown. That would be brilliant! Please, do let me know what he'd need to know, and I can totally work that in! He would be perfect for helping them get past the cops, plus, as you said, he'd make for an interesting (and slightly crazy) contact. I'm so excited for this!

Ugh, school. I don't blame you! I can't remember if I'd told you, but I finally told my parents that I will not be attending any more classes. ^^' They weren't upset or anything (I'm sure by the amounts of complaining I'd done, they expected as much) but...yeah. I just can't bring myself to take another semester.

Headphones! Why didn't I think of that? I'll give that a shot! Hopefully they'll be enough to drown out their commotion. xD

As far as the garage goes, I've found mainly a lot of old toys from my childhood, and a LOT of stuff to sell. I also found a lot of boxes that were *supposed* to go to Goodwill...but my mom hoarded them away. Thankfully she let me get rid of them now, though. It amazes me how much one family can collect!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get very distracted or take trips down memory lane, since my sister was making sure I was moving at all times.

For Etsy, I offer both options. Makes life easier. xD

We have great taste! Both movies are wonderful. I'll have to watch Spirited Away again sometime soon. The ending always makes me sad, though. :'(

LOL. It's all fun and games until you try to take the bacon away! That never fails to crack me up.

Oh WOW! Okay, I am impressed! Those look spectacular!! And very alike to what I'd envisioned, which is awesome. Your written descriptions were so detailed that I actually managed to get a pretty good idea what they must have looked like. The eyes are great! Red, glowing eyes...*shudders* Wouldn't want to run into one of them any time soon. No wonder Ghent didn't sleep. Heh.
I also really like how you incorporated the clubs into their design! That was fun to spot. :D I'd like to attempt drawing one...but...everything I draw usually ends up too...chibified. I'll give it a try, though! *adds to "To Draw" list*
You outdid yourself. I absolutely approve. Add away! :D

I’m sorry, I have to:

The crazier, the better, right? xD On to what Miles would know, then! Brace yourself. xD

Good on you for letting them know! I’m glad they weren’t upset about that. My parents were understanding about my decision in that as well, pretty much for the same reason. xD

Hope the headphones help!

Ah, fun stuff, childhood toys! That’s cool you found stuff to get rid of. Are you going to have a garage sell, or put it on Craigslist or something? Heh, I know how that goes, finding out how much a family can store up. Kind of crazy. I take it your sister’s a pretty driven person? xD

I know! Leaves it open, though, the ending. Maybe they got to see each other again!

Thank you much! ^.^ Ah! A chibified Shadowmire. Bet that would look great! The awesome thing about writing is that every reader will put their own spin on what's described. I now hope that you someday get around to that. I shall add them, then! :-)

Ha! That gif is amazing! What movie is that from??

The World Jumping write-up was imaginative, intriguing, and flawless as ever. :D I loved reading that! I feel very well informed, too. I can't think of any questions right yet, but I may or may not have some questions once we near the portal, depending on how our characters get past the police. Miles to the rescue!

A garage sale would be fantastic! I shudder to think how much money I may have been able to make with garage sales. Unfortunately...everything goes to Goodwill, since we live out in the sticks, and no one in their right mind comes out this way. If something has value, I end up selling on eBay. I'm not brave enough to use Craigslist, though it would be neat since there's no fees. :3 And, yes...she is insanely driven. I have no idea where that kid gets her energy.

I just finished listening to chapter 7, (the headphones worked!) so I've finally gotten to the Cheshire Cat and the Hatter! I've noticed that, so far, the animated version followed along with the story pretty closely! I can't really blame Disney for omitting the whole...pig baby scene? That was unexpected and oddly disturbing.

& You're so welcome! I really enjoy looking at your artwork. You have talent! Keep it up. :D I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

It’s from Book of Life. If you haven’t seen it, it’s one I’d recommend if you ever get the chance!

Glad you enjoyed reading it. :-) Figured most of that would help you figure out Miles’ personality a bit more, since that would all be a part of his history. I believe we have the storage room on one side with an alley that goes through, then the portal on the other side with a dead-end. Some sort of distraction, maybe?

True. The pains of being in the middle of nowhere. If you know anyone else in more of a populated area who wants to do a garage sale, maybe pose you guys combine? A two-family garage sale. We have a lot of stuff that ends up at Goodwill or gets otherwise donated to shelters or something. I’ve never tried eBay because of the fee aspect. I understand your reservations about Craigslist, though. You never know who you’re going to be meeting with. There are quite a few foul stories revolving around meetings through that site. But that’s where I got my iPod really cheap a few weeks ago after the power button on my last one decided to give out for some unknown reason. Guess it decided it had had enough of life.

Nice! Chapter seven. I love the reasoning for the table for the tea party being so large. Wonder if that’s where Burton got the inspiration for the second movie he did revolving around Wonderland with Time. I’ve started Through the Looking Glass. Can’t remember what chapter I’m on, though… only like the second or third, I think. That’s pretty cool the Disney version follows it well. Honestly, I think I watched that once or twice when I was little, and it annoyed me. I don't remember much about it. Heh. Agreed on the pig-baby, though minus “disturbing.” Odd, for sure! xD

Looks adorable! I'll check if our library has it for sure!

Love the distraction idea. If I were ever in a movie, I'd be the one responsible for distractions. I'd also be the first to die.
Ghent's explanation was shoddy, and Elayra's attire/weaponry was out of the ordinary, so that might explain Miles' suspicion, and why he'd choose to follow them. He craves world jumping even more than he craves a pack of cigarettes. xD

Not a bad idea! I could ask around...I know my grandma could benefit from a garage sale...or her house could, that is.
Your iPod failed you too, huh? About a year ago my iPod's home button screen got stuck, which resulted in me having to buy a new one. *sigh* Those things aren't cheap. My sister is having problems with hers now, too...so I'm beginning to wonder if these are the last Apple products that will grace our home. Glad you could find one on Craigslist! Heh, yeah. I'm kind of a chicken. I've heard my share of bad stories about the place (no thanks to my grandmother) but I imagine it'd be safe if the meetup place was in a public area.

I finished it as well! I did enjoy it, and all the while I was thinking about our role play. When it came to them painting the roses red, I couldn't help but imagine the red paint was actually the blood of the beheaded victims. Nice thought to have, eh?
What were your thoughts on it? Any favorite/least favorite parts? My favorite chapter was chapter 7, A Mad Tea-Party. It was the most interesting to me and I was very amused by the trio at the table. That poor mouse just wanted to sleep!
My least favorite chapters were probably 9 and 10, with the Mock Turtle...in my opinion, it felt very slow and repetitive.
Haha, I've had my share of Disney movies that annoy me, too. I probably haven't watched the Disney version in over a decade, but it was one of the few VHS tapes we had when I was a kid, so I watched it a lot and it feels very fresh in my memory.
Like you, I started Through the Looking Glass but had to start over midway through chapter 1. I gave them a chance, but the voice actors weren't doing a very good job. I'll listen to a different upload tonight.

I like your new avi! Ladybug and Cat Noir. I have a button pin with them on it. xD

I look forward to seeing what you come up with for a distraction, then, if you're good with taking that up!

Sweet about finishing the book! HA, about the roses! Is it bad that I like that for a villain? I took notes while reading it for ideas. I’d have to agree with you on the favorite chapter. The Hatter, March Hare, and Dormouse were fun, and their interactions were some of the most enjoyable to read for me. That, and at the end of chapter six where the Cheshire cat comes in. I also like that he shows up while Alice is playing croquet with the queen and stirs up a bit of trouble. I also agree about the Mock Turtle. Those were a couple, “WHY EVEN…?!” chapters. I haven’t gotten any further in Through the Looking Glass yet.

My gosh, I haven’t thought about VHS tapes in ages. Crazy how long it’s been since you watched that! Have you seen Burton’s adaptation of the story? (I’ve stolen the name “Absolem” from him. Because I was feeling lazy. But I’m not giving it to my version of the Caterpillar.)

Quick writing tip? Think of character thoughts as the same as dialogue. The normal rules for dialogue apply to thoughts. Though an inner dialogue, it would still be written in present tense, as if the character had said it aloud.

Lastly: Mmm. Coffee cake. Which makes me want tiramisu. Thanks a lot.

Aw, thank you! I'm delighted that you know what it's from!
I love those two, they're so adorable. I found the show on Netflix and was hooked...I will no doubt have to bring this up in our PM discussion. And I totally need that pin!!

Sure thing! Unless, of course, you had an idea or suggestion for the distraction. If you do, let me know! It not, that's totally fine too. It'll probably happen (or start to happen) in this post or the next.

Oh! The Cheshire cat! I'd completely forgotten, but yes. He was wonderful. I liked how Carroll described the grin being the last visible thing about him.
I haven't gotten much further in Through the Looking Glass, either. I listened to chapter one again, and...that's about it. Heh. Haven't gotten much of a chance to listen lately.

I watched the Tim Burton one once, but I don't recall my feelings about it. It was so many years ago...I'll see if I can rent it from the library.
I was surprised to see that they put the second one on Netflix. Heck, I don't remember them even making a second one! Because of our RP, I feel compelled to watch it. I tried to talk my sister into watching it, but she was adamant against it. I'm pretty sure she's afraid of his movies. Did you ever see it?
Hey, that's cool that you're using the name! It's unique and fun to say aloud. :D

Yikes. Okay, I just looked back and...wow. You're completely right. Why the heck didn't I realize I was doing that?! Gah. Sorry about that! Makes me cringe, wondering how many times I've done that... thank you for bringing it to my attention -- it won't happen again!

...I'm starting to crave cake as well. Darn it.

Urgh! So, so sorry for the wait. Things got busy longer than anticipated, and now I'm trying to get back into the swing of writing on here again. Need something to jump-start the creative juices!

A while back, I saw a song put to a compilation of Ladybug and Cat Noir. Read some of the comments to find out what it was from, then ended up stumbling on it on Netflix. Got the pin from Hot Topic.

Well, I always have ideas, but I have confidence in that glorious brain of yours. :-) If you get stuck or anything, though, let me know! We can put our heads together.

Heh, yes. You have to like the Cheshire cat. I do remember them doing something like that in the Disney movie as well. Alas, I’ve been too busy to do much reading these last few weeks.

I enjoy the first one of Burton’s. It’s been a while since I’ve watched it, though. I liked the premise of the second, but was rather unimpressed with the way they went about it. Ha! That’s special about your sister probably being afraid of his movies.

I swear. Since we started this, I keep seeing Alice in Wonderland stuff everywhere. Wonder if I just never noticed its popularity before, or if the world decided it was time to start throwing that theme at me. Like lemons. Only lemons usually hurt more.

No worries. I can see where it could be easy to just keep going in your narrating style. Just wasn’t sure if you knew that or not. You’re welcome!

The pains of writing or reading anything with food or drinks in it.

I feel your pain. I have been ridiculously tired and unmotivated lately. I haven't replied to texts, role plays, anything in weeks. I'd like to blame it on something...but I've got no excuses. I think staying up past 5 is starting to catch up with me.

That's great! I discovered the show because I had a customer order the characters over a year ago. I was really fascinated by the designs (especially Cat Noir) but could never find the episodes. I was so happy when they put them on Netflix! I saw a button of Cat Noir at Hot Topic, but the next time I went he was gone. *tear*

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'm just about done with my reply. Once I post it, if you think I should add or change something, just let me know -- I really want to do this marvelous story justice!

I finished listening to Through the Looking Glass a few weeks ago. I think I liked the first book more, but right now both are one big blur in my mind. Heh. I managed to talk my sister into watching the second movie and it was totally not what I was expecting. I liked the premise too, but I feel like they missed the mark. It could have been epic!

Right? Shirts, water bottles, jewelry...you name it. I've been trying to save my money lately, but temptation is everywhere. Like you, I can't tell if this merchandise was always here, or if I'm just now aware of it.

I hope it's alright, but I've let my sister read our role play. I have tried so many times to explain your wonderful plot and characters, but never well enough. She's made it to page 2 so far, and I was very pleased by the praise she gave it. She said she wished this was a book, and she promised us some fan art. :D

As always, hope you're doing well!

Yay for lack of motivation. xD

Oh, nice! That’s cool you made them for a customer. Aww, keep looking. I’m sure you’ll find one. I always run into them on the rare occasions I end up going. Always gotta see if there’s anything new to add to my button pin collection.

I think it’s great so far! I’ll hopefully be capable of getting an IC post in here sometime during my version of tonight. But I make no promises, because I just end up breaking those when they’re centered around posting.

Oh, nice. Maybe I should try to download it or something so I can actually get through it. I’m book-hopping again. Re-reading Inkheart right now. And EXACTLY about the movie!

It’s a conspiracy. Now have a couple pictures I randomly found or were posted on my Facebook page. Even FB is in on it. And I don’t have any FB pages on the topic “Liked”!

Well, gosh. How could you? I mean, it’s not like it’s already on a public forum or something. Of course it’s alright! I’m honored you enjoy it enough to share it with her. So glad she likes it! Woo! Fan art! And thus the tally has grown to three. :-D But you might want to warn her about the conspiracy.

Eh, could be better, could be worse. So, basically, just the norm now. Hope you’re doing well as well!

First weapons, now pin buttons? You collect some awesome stuff, I approve!

Your post was brilliant, as always! I like that Elayra kept levelheaded enough to speak sense into Miles.
'Dolt' and 'Featherhead' for Ghent = perfect.

Nice! I never heard of Inkheart before, but I did a Wiki search on it and it sounds fun. I may consider that for my next audiobook! Haven't really crafted in a while.

Isn't it crazy?! Loving the images, though! Stitch as The Hatter...I don't think Wonderland could handle that.

Hah, true enough! She's finished one drawing, but she won't allow me to post it without having the second. She went through the trouble to color it in digitally, which is cool. (I'm lazy, so I usually leave everything as a sketch). Speaking of...once I finish my replies here, I'm heading off to work on a sketch of Elayra and Ghent that I've been meaning to finish.

Awh. Hope things get better! Norm isn't bad, but better is one step above, right? ;P If you ever need to talk or vent, just let me know. I'm not always the best with advice, but I'm a good listener.

Girl, the number of collections I have would probably make a dragon jealous. xD

Oh, thank you! :-D If there’s only one thing Elayra knows the consequences of messing with, it’s crazed people with the upper hand. And glad you approve of his nicknames! I’m loving how you’re playing it out so far! Also, the accuracy of this statement: “A hotheaded princess and a deranged drunk wouldn't remain civil for very long.”

I’m not sure if Inkheart’s audio will be on YouTube. Might have to go to the library for that one. But, then again, it is YouTube. Heh. It was my absolute favorite when I was ten. I still have that same copy. For a heads-up, there is some cussing in it. Not sure how you feel about that in books, so figured I’d warn you. I really like the story, though, and would still say it’s among my favorites.

A bit of World-Jumper info, before I forget to mention it: there would have been at least a couple months between when the Red Sorceress appeared, and when she enacted the Curse. In that time, some Jumpers in Wonderland would have abandoned ship until the issue with the Sorceress blew over, so they could avoid getting in the middle of things, and thus ended up getting trapped wherever they were. They could guess at what happened, but wouldn’t know for sure the exact cause of the portals closing. But because it was only a couple months in between, there were also Jumpers who had not been in Wonderland to know about the Red Sorceress, so were completely in the dark about why the portals closed. All they’d know is that they vanished. They could have worn out, or something foul could have happened to force them to close for safety’s sake, but there was a 50/50 chance it could be either. The only way they would know anything about the Sorceress is if they happened to run into other Jumpers who had left Wonderland within those couple months. So, you’d have those options for Miles. Sound okay? Oh, and Elayra was going to say Swallowhill Swamp, if you want him to guess that. It’s constantly raining there. Before the Curse, some of the hills liked randomly swallowing unsuspecting people, then spitting them out in different places in the swamp.

My gosh, now there’s something I’d love to see play out! We should write Disney.

Whoa, seriously? That was shockingly quick! And even digitally colored! In all honesty, I wasn’t actually expecting fan art to happen, so that makes it that much more awesome! Oh boy. Hopefully I can continue to meet your girl’s standards in the RP. xD Well, when you post it, would you ask her if she would mind me putting it in with the “Wonderland Terms” under a “Fan Art” heading? And the same question applies to you!

Indeed, but it is what it is, in my book! I’m thankful for “normal” over “worse” any day. Aww, thank you! Hey, sometimes, all someone really needs is someone to listen, not spout off advice. But I’m sure you’re a lot better at giving advice than you think. ;-)

Nothing wrong with that! xD May need to get some dragon repellent though, just in case. Speaking of, I spy a dragon in your new avatar. What's that from?

I didn't even think about that! First Drust, now Miles...the girl deserves a break.
I definitely approve of the nicknames, Ghent does not. He can dish out the names but he can't take 'em. *laughs*

That's no problem! Been going to the library fairly frequently lately. I'll take a look around.
Aw, thanks for the warning! Eh, it doesn't bother me too much unless it's really frequent or the super bad ones. I mean, I myself don't, but it's pretty much impossible to avoid all the time.

Loved the additional information, very clear and helpful, so thank you! Helped a lot with my reply. I like the fact that Miles wouldn't actually know why the portals stopped working. As you have probably noticed, this has driven him a little mad.
Oh, and Swallowhill Swamp? Coolest idea ever!

Yep! She's fast, unlike me. I spend half a lifetime.
Absolutely! She said she would be honored. I would be, too. Collect all the fan art!
Just for the record, your posts never cease to impress! You go above and beyond our standards.

Anytime! That's very true. Heh, well...I'm knowledgeable in a few areas. I do my best. :D

But what if I want dragons to pay me a visit? And indeed! It’s from The Pagemaster. It’s an older movie, but I quite like it. I want the Pagemaster's staff so freakin' bad!

Eh, just means she’ll be right at home. xD And isn’t that how it usually goes? *Grins.* HA! Ghent and his clumsiness. I love it!

Sweet. The library is such a wonderful place. Of course! Good to know what you think of that. And agreed. Though I don’t like it and avoid it whenever possible, media these days is riddled with it, so it’s just one of those things for me. Like you said, as long there isn’t too much, and not the “biggies.” Please let me know if you get the chance to listen to it!

Oh, good. Glad it helped! Well, the madder the better, right?
Thanks about Swallowhill Swamp! I should probably start writing down the places I mention, though. I think there were a couple others, but I forgot to make a note of them, and now I don’t actually remember. Excluding the important ones. Those ones I remember.

Join the club, my friend!
Sweet. I look forward to it! NEW COLLECTION!
And aww, thanks. :-3
