Personality: A dedicated and straightforward young man built from the ground up with a self confidence that few believe can be shattered even if death itself had him by the throat. This is a person who believes that by pushing himself harder every day he can achieve the impossible when it really matters. It is because of this belief that he has joined or participated in most every physical activity club he can and always pits himself against their best.
Bold and often very reckless, Jack is the kind of person that waits for the gun to fire, the bell to ring, the whistle to be blown, before giving everything he can without regard for his own safety. No fear, no hesitation, just a blazing trail forward!

Biography: IIIIN WEST PHILADELPHIA Born and raised in the city of Shikatsu, the only child to the workaholics knows as the Johnsons, Jack was raised with loving praise and constant encouragement right from the moment his chubby little feet first carried him across the small apartments livingroom floor from his fathers arms and into his mothers. His father, Micheal, and his Motha, Nona, run a small cleaning business located 20 minutes away from their apartment in the middle of the city. His transportation to school is usually on the local transit but but Jack enjoys running to school most days (That means almost an extra hour of travel time!)
Despite the hard effort, it is always well worth the effort to jog.

Struggling in schools standard curriculum for the first few years of his life thanks to an impatience with sitting still coupled with an obvious case of Attention deficit disorder, A.D.D for short, Jack nearly gave up on learning altogether and had once briefly considered leaving home to travel the world. It had only taken his Father one afternoon to change the stubborn boys mind. Micheal was not a small man and had offered the gamble that if Jack could ever best his father in a friendly wrestling match he would give his blessing and fund the trip himself from their family savings. A deal too good to pass up! The catch was that Jack could only challenge this deal at the end of a term if his grades had remained no lower than a B+ average.

That had been the Jack of merely 12 years old.

Every year since he was 12 Jack has come home with an A- average and fought with everything he had to overcome his Father and win the right to travel. Not once had he ever come close. The wrestling had gone from playful to furious every single time, neither side giving an inch. It wasn't until the summer of his fifteenth birthday that Nona had been forced to intervene before the two ended up severely injuring each other, such was their conviction to victory. It was a passion that Father and Son shared and never harbored a grudge about.
Micheal promised he would teach his son what it meant to be strong, to fight for your belief with EVERYTHING you could muster, and earn your victory with pride or embrace your defeat as a learning experience.

To this day, Jack is convinced that he'll be able to travel sometime when his Father is too old to offer a fight at all.

With grades as good as his, enrollment into Uchima Senior High had been almost a guaranteed. Academics aside, his blindingly fast climb up the sports scene had been influential as well since it promoted healthy body and mind which was something the school idealized.
Jack joined, or participated in, most every physical activity club he could and finally settled into a boxing club. Day one he walked into the club, challenged the oldest and most experienced student, and quickly established that he would not relent on the barrage of jabs and uppercuts that eventually felled what he still refers to as 'the falling of the oak tree'. The Club leader had been a monster in his own right and the Victory Jack earned was his crowning achievement.

With recent activity and vanishing students the club activities had come to a halt. His own parents were fearful of something when the news came home and Jack was told to protect himself just in case.

If I can still come back, it'll be with a new character regardless of whether I can take the same arcana or not——mainly cause Akira is kinda hard to work with in a group RP. That's alright. I've got exams popping up around the same time too, so I get how ya feel.

(to be perfectly honest Akira has been pretty separate from the rest of the characters, so it won't be a huge deal)

So... I just visited my grandmother this afternoon, and I'm staying at a hotel in the same town for the night so I can visit her again for her 80th birthday. I only have about half a gigabyte of internet data to work with (because typical hotel service) and, while that should be enough to make posts here and there, I may or may not be busy actually celebrating said birthday. So if yo don't happen to see a post today or tomorrow, that'll be way.
