@Ammokkx

True enough, my deck is all about combos involving summoning and using my fallen cards to help out. I checked red eyes and he truly would be a greater ace in the hole then my knights at the moment. I also find myself in need of a few "mid range" cards. Like spear dragon, I need 4 star monsters I can use in my combos

Why those two, out of curiosity?

Ahem, @Ammokkx

@Ammokkx

Sigh* fair enough.

A call too everyone then. Any suggestions for cards or tips to win? Clearly my deck needs an overhaul if I'm going to start helping in this and future story arcs to come.

I'm tired of being the loser

Okay, I'm not too keen on just giving OOC information, but I guess you can just pass off these tips as Angelo looking them up online or something.

Anyway, I've played a good amount of Dragunities in my time, so I can give you a few pointers. Or maybe a lot of them.

First off, I'm sorry to say that Dragunities are just not suited for Turbo Duels, as the nature of Turbo Duels exclude them from using two of their best cards: Dragon Ravine and Dragunity Divine Lance. Even if you are adamant on using Dragunities in Turbo Duels, I still suggest you get 3 copies of those cards ASAP for your Standard Deck.

Anyway, you don't have a lot of combos in your current deck. The only thing I see that really stands out is Masked Dragon into Creature Swap, and even then that's inconsistent and also kind of rudimentary.

Anyway, here are some cards that can help both your Standard and Turbo Decks:

Dragunity Phalanx

The fact that the Structure Deck does not give you this card is a crime. This card enables pretty much every major Dragunity Synchro play. Get it and keep it.

Dragunity Synchro Monsters (except Trident), but especially Vajrayana.

Vajrayana, Gae Dearg, and Barcha should be top priority after Phalanx, in that order. Gae Bulg in my experience is actually the second weakest Dragunity Synchro after Trident. Vajrayana into Divine Lance into Dragunity Brandistock gives you a 5000 ATK monster that can attack twice and is immune to Trap cards. That's pretty good.

Harpie Harpist

Mediocre by itself, but combos really well with Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg. It's a +1, and most importantly, it gets your Dragunity Dux, one of your regular playmakers with Phalanx.

I admit I might have forgotten about that question with the 12+ posts I was reading, but the basic gist is:

Construct needs to be ran in Shaddolls and I can always veto anyone getting it until the lategame where everyone has enough tools to out it, but I don't feel comfortable letting anyone run more than one. Super poly because there's so few decks that can actually use it and it's just a really cool narrative card.

Okay, so this is why I don't like the card:

It's a generic searcher and a free synchro play. I have to mimic what others asked here: Why do they need that? Parshath already has Nova Summoner and Cards from the Sky for consistency.

Maybe because just about everyone else seems to have a direct searcher, if not several. There's Fluffal Dog and multiple Gustos for Joshua and Amelia, for example. Vincent can use a multitude of Chaos Emissary cards to pull out what he needs, all from his deck to the graveyard and back to the field with very little cost to his hand.

Jester, meanwhile, can only pull out ONE specific card, and even if I wanted to make a Synchro play, I'd still need Sanctuary, Even when I do gain access to more Level 8 Fairy Synchro monsters (or even R4NK Xyz Fairy monsters), I am still limited to certain plays myself, so I can't entirely just do whatever I like with the combo.

Another thing: once cards like Nova Summoner and such go to the graveyard, they're basically GONE. I have few options to interact with them, even fewer of which, if any, are actually related to the Parshath and Nova archetypes. Others have synergy with having their cards in the Graveyard, and I don't. Sure I can use cards like Beckoning Light or Monster Reincarnation, but they don't synergize very well. I'd like cards that grant more power to their specific archetype, and in the Parshath's case, that's gaining an early board presence while trying to prevent them from touching the Graveyard.

Angelo, Haas, Nathan (iirc)EDIT: Recalled wrong, Maisy and several others don't.

Okay, but Jester isn't a floater. So the not hitting graveyard point is moot. Also, your decks already thrives on consitency with 9x Sanctuary (in the form of terraforming and the one monster) and a bunch of cards that get better with it.

But it's not like Sanctuary can't be destroyed either, or even prevented from touching the board in the first place.

Pretty meaningless when you can get it twice in your opening hand consistently and the RP has a heavy lack of S/T removal.

Some decks have none and all others I've looked through have either 1 MST or 1 to a few really situational ways to remove S/T. I'd chalk this up to you being unlucky.

Anyway, there may be few S/T removal now, but think about later on in the rp as people gather more points and buys more cards. I highly doubt such cards will be so rare then, not to mention others who have Field Spells of their own, considering the One Field Spell rule we have in this rp.

To counter that, at that late point in the RP you could be running cards like Field Barrier to protect SitS and your deck will look a lot better and faster.

Field Barrier won't always be available, but I do see your point.

Anyway, back to the main topic of our discussion: Nova Jester. A searcher and obvious synergy with SitS for a quick Extra Deck play. Perhaps it holds quite a bit of power for only one card, even if the additional SitS effect won't always be available. How shall we compromise?

@Scarifar I'm going to be frank and say I still don't like it and don't think a compromise is possible. I cut all the Nova and Parshath cards for a reason, and I'm not going to be fooled by generic SitS support either. Wisp of Holy was nice because of the way it SS'd itself, but even that was an edge case for me. I still am not convinced SitS and Parshath need more support, as there's plenty of ways to make the deck work as is. Hell, you *have* your main tuner. All you need is some synchros and some more support cards and your deck is good to go.

Yeah, sorry for being quick to bite back there. Bit jumpy when people suddenly jump into my thread for seemingly no reason.
