Appearance: Alina is a tall young woman, reaching to about 6' even. Though the long legs imparted to her by this give her athleticism a bit of a boost, it also makes her stand out from a crowd. Her physique is thin, which gives her a deceptive appearance of weakness. Her musculature is nothing special, but it's more than one would think by virtue of being very wiry. Her medium-length brown hair is usually tied back into either a braid or a bun. She rarely lets it hang loose. Due to her Mediterranean roots, she's never quite adapted to the cold of the United States, and thus tends to dress rather heavily, often wearing long clothing during the height of summer.

Personality: Alina is a laid-back, chill, go-with-the-flow kind of person. She's decidedly extroverted, and even has a tendency to be too friendly on occasion, which has lead to her being swindled in the past. She takes it in stride, refusing to become more cynical and even redoubling her friendliness in an effort to change things for the better. That being said, she's no fool, and her misadventures have developed in her a keen sense of when things are going to go badly for her. She has an unfortunate tendency to forgive and forget a little too easily, which can lead to easily avoidable problems.

Biographical Information: Alina was born in Volos, a port city situated on the Greek mainland, to a pair of natives that had made their fortune overseas through trading. Parents both retired, Alina was treated to a childhood that few receive. Though she wanted for little during the day, her parents refused to let her become a spoiled heiress and kicked her out of the house on many nights of the week, forcing her to make her own way through the world. These nights were what inspired Alina to her personality; she met a host of quirky characters in Volos' nightlife, including a blind bouzouki player who navigated the world by the echoes of his music, an old sea captain who was quick with a laugh and a flask and always ready to recall tales of his (mis)adventures, and a young lady perhaps ten years older than herself who had run away from home to join a traveling circus as a trapeze artist.

So it went for many years. Alina grew street smart, but never let herself give up on her charitable, optimistic viewpoint, always trying to see the best in everyone and never stressing too much over things that she couldn't change. Then people came after her parents. Though they had earned their money legally, not everybody believed them, and they started receiving death threats in the mail. It came to a head one night when her father Aleksander was brutally assaulted and only barely escaped uninjured. They could no longer afford to live in Volos, and as they discovered a few months later, nor in Greece. And so, they bid farewell to their home country and moved to the United States.

Alina's life really didn't change all too much. Though the locale had changed, she met just as many interesting characters in her new home of Baltimore. Though she had plenty of close scrapes, she always managed to escape, and over time, she became very experienced in roaming the streets of a relatively dangerous city by night.

When she graduated high school, she went to Wellesly College, studying art and sculpture. She'd just wrapped up her third year of college and was sleeping on a train to return home to Baltimore when she was abducted. And that brings us to now.

Ability: Through constant experimentation and genetic modification, Alina has developed the ability to telekinetically control her blood, and only hers. This has two major components: manipulation and recollection. By spilling large amounts of her own blood, she can launch it as bullet-like projectiles, form it into whips, blades, and other weapons, or as various other utilitarian applications such as platforms. The obvious tradeoff to this is that she's using her own blood, and thus is automatically limited by the amount of blood in her body. Thus it's limited by whether or not she's lost any blood and such factors.

The recollection part of her ability takes effect a few minutes after she's stopped using any active manipulation (she can't recollect during any kind of manipulation, so she wears down quickly in extended combat using her abilities.) Any blood she's expended that is still usable begins to crawl towards her, and seeps back in through whatever cuts they came out of, reintegrating into her bloodstream. Notably, this doesn't heal the wounds, so she has to be careful about that. Due to this power, her circulatory system was enhanced. Her heart is more efficient and she has more blood overall.

Strengths, Skills, Weaknesses: Because of her extra-efficient heart, she has a high level of stamina. Combined with her long legs and wiry muscles, this makes her an excellent runner. Because of her misadventures during her youth, she has trained to adequacy in jiujitsu, and her natural athleticism makes her decent in hand-to-hand combat, which is instrumental to her, due to how much fatigue using her power can cause. As for weaknesses, the first of them is quite obvious: unless she's had time to mend and refill, she's generally lacking in some blood, which can reduce her stamina and cause her to pass out at inopportune times. She also has a crippling fear of needles brought on by the experiments that were performed to her. The sight of a hypodermic can cause her to freeze, break down, or pass out on the spot. Though it doesn't come up often, she is fluent in Greek.

Personality: Fuyuki, despite years being kept and experimented, his gentle sides still retains. He is a caring person with a high degree of sympathy, especially to others who have seen what he has seen. Because of this, he is easily affected by moral choice, such as when he helps, or see others help, innocent people. He can console and cheer up sad or depressed people around him (he can fail), but as a tradeoff he can get depressed, or even broken, very (I mean very) easily when he has to commit astrocities against innocent people. And when depressed, he is prone to sob all day long, and can have suicidal thoughts.

He is considered to be kind-hearted, but very naive, since he was taken into custody before he was able to experience first-hand how the world works, and despite being gentle to others, he is cautious to those who appear to be rich and neat, since he has bad experiences with scientists and businessmen. But if you have gotten to his good sides, he is pretty friendly and protective. But when someone dares to threaten him or those close to him, he will not hesitate to show his fierceness, which he had matured over his old timidity during the time at the laboratory. He has also developed extreme hatred for the scientists who commenced brutal experiments on him, as they are the ones who destroyed his life for their own benefits, and vowed to bring down the corporation that brought so much catastrophes upon him at all costs

Biographical Information: Amari was a simple child, born in a family not wealthy but not financially struggling either. His childhood was rather very calm, and was anything any kids would want to experience. A tranquil neighbourhood, a loving mother, a caring father, a few relatively rare but sympathetic close friends, he had nothing to complain about. He used to be a scared child, who was afraid of pain and blood. And it went on for the rest of his high school days. Only when he was abducted and experimented did he grow out of his timid self.

Fuyuki was a well-performed student. Aside from the two subjects of physics and mathematics, his other scores were rather all-around, not bad, but not really exceptional. Teachers loved him, both for his intellect in two science subjects and his good manners. Despite not receiving much attentions from his peers, he was mostly on friendly-terms with them. Little conflicts happened during his school days. During the annual health checking, he astonished everybody with his unusually well-performed eyesights, something in which he took pride. His major in physics was, ironically, universal gravitation, which caught the attention of the scientists that later abducted him.

His calm childhood ended right after the closing ceremonial of his 1st year at high school. Right after he returned home, he, to his horrors, found his parents lying motionlessly on the floor. Their further fate was unknown, either dead or just being knocked unconscious, as just moments after he saw the scene, his eyes were blinded, his hands were tied, and was escorted away from his house.

Ability: Gravity wells generation:

Not to be confused with telekinesis, Fuyuki has the power to create an artificial gravity well either around him or around a certain location that is pinpointed by the use of his eyes. Intended by scientists to be used for space exploration and transportation, he can generate an area of gravity in which the gravity force and area of effect can be controlled and adjusted: From nearly zero gravity, which is none, to a force of over 50G, but the magic number that he usually uses is 6 to 10, in which 10 is the maximum force at which he does not have to over-consume his energy. Otherwise, he would begin to tire himself pretty quickly, and if he has to use to 50G, chances are that he will only be able to sustain that for around 5 seconds. Trying to break that limit can lead to death caused by exhaustion. The area of effect can be adjusted from just a few meters to over a few hundred meters, in which fifty meters is the maximum number in which he does not have to over-consume. The reason why he cannot generate a zero gravity area is that in actual reality, he can, but he cannot mess with the natural gravity of Earth, or any planet that has its own gravity. So if he cannot influence that gravity, then there is no point in creating an artificial non-gravity area.

Also, his one of the major setbacks in his ability is its reliance on eyesight, because the area where the gravity force is concentrated on is pinpointed using his eyes. So basically, if he cannot see, the ability is reduced to only around his body. In other words, rendered to nearly useless aside from sucking things into him. Another cons to his ability is that he can only create one gravity well at the time.

Strengths: Fuyuki has a very strong eyesights, known for being 15/10. In simple terms, he can see things that are 1.5 times further than normal humans with normal eyesight can, allowing him to pinpoint targets more easily. His body is also resistant to his own gravity force. Not immune, but resistant. Fuyuki's knowledge in physics and mathematics is also a buff to his gravity manipulation ability, as it allows him to apply it for many complicated purposes. His stamina is high, so as to sustain the gravity well for a long time.

Weaknesses: Because he was experimented inside a laboratory for a whole long year and is intended to be sent to space, his immune system has deteriorated a bit, so he is quite susceptable to diseases. And to add insult to injury, aside from physics and mathematics, his knowledge in practical subjects such as medicine or cooking is terrible, which worsens this vulnerability. And despite having a high stamina, he is a human being, and can be injured and killed with physical damage.

Other: Like it was mentioned above, Fuyuki cannot cook and has little knowledge about arts or musics. His sociability isn't bad, as he was able to make friends back at school, but because he lacks knowledge about teenage stuff, most of his friends were only those who shared his interests.

Personality: One of the kindest and gentlest people out there. Like, seriously, kid let's mosquitoes drink his blood and doesn't kill them. Jared is an extremely passive and quiet person, and has never started up a conversation in his life. He takes a lot of crap from people and doesn't put up to much of a resistance, but be sure to keep in mind that he has little in terms of releasing this pent-up stress. He enjoys studying, spending time with his family, playing video games, and raising his ant farm. Jared is complacent with anything, however, as long as he has something to take up his time; a board game, a book, or a stove and a couple ingredients. Honestly, he's kind of bland, which is probably why most people besides his parents never took interest in him. Remains calm under nearly any scenario, and only ever freaks out when something he cares about is missing, or he has never experienced it before. (Ex: In a gunfight? Jared is calm, despite only having a gun pointed at him a few times in his entire life. Wake up in a strange laboratory? Oh no, how will I get home, my parents must be so worried, oh god, how'd you even get here in the first place, stupid...).

Jared had developed numerous unhealthy habits throughout his life. He rarely sleeps more than 6 hours a night, averaging about 4. Jared had taken to insulting himself when things do not go his way. Jared has tried several narcotics, but has never been addicted to one. Jared has a very sedentary lifestyle, and is slightly below average physically. While Jared is a very good chef, he usually prefers eating junk food as it is more convenient.

Biographical Information: Born to a father who owned a gun store and a mother who was a professor at Maryland University, Jared was an only child and his family was never strapped for cash. Jared developed very quickly as a child, learning how to read at the age of 3, and performing basic geometry at 7. Jared was raised in a "Plastic bubble", as his parents rarely let him leave the house, preferring to keep him somewhere safe. The only real "Danger" Jared was ever exposed to as a child were when his father began to train him in the use of firearms, disguising it to his mother as "Firearm safety lessons". Considering the numerous weapons that littered the household, it was honestly for the best that Jared was trained in firearm discipline at a young age. Jared entered Kindergarten at the age of 5, and was quickly alienated. None of the kids knew him, he entered in the middle of the year, and he was extremely pale for his age. Despite being a social pariah, however, Jared consistently outperformed his peers, rapidly ascending through grade levels. Jared began cooking for his parents at the age of 9, hoping that it would help lessen their workload. His parents later on tried entering Jared into cooking competitions, but every time Jared vehemently refused.

Jared went his entire academic career being bullied. Maybe it was his stutter? How he was always shifty-eyed. How he never spoke unless spoken to. Or maybe he just entered kindergarten at the wrong time, and was screwed over by chance. Whatever it was, the abuse started light. Taking his shoes. Name calling. Locking him in the bathroom. But slowly, almost at a snails crawl, it escalated. Swirlies, knocking lunch out of his hands, and stolen bikes were common. But as the abuse escalated, so did Jared's progression. He grew smarter faster than he did as a child, and managed to graduate high school at 16. He was offered a full-ride at John Hopkins, and for the next two years, he experienced almost no abuse whatsoever. He didn't have any friends, but keeping his lunch money was a godsend in a collage environment. His parents were supportive in his college career, sending him money regularly for basic necessities. After the two years passed, however, his three largest aggressors joined the ranks of John Hopkins (This confused Jared until he realized that they had bought their way in). With his biggest bullies joining the university, Jared's stress was through the roof. He barely managed to keep it together for the next three years, but, at the age of 21, he graduated with a Doctorate in Biochemistry. Three hours after the ceremony, he was coughing blood, with his shredded diploma strewn across his limp body.

It didn't matter that he could just ask for a new diploma. That he was finally free of the constant abuse. What mattered was that they had assaulted Jared for years, and never even gave him a reason for the abuse. Jared returned home, celebrated with his parents, grabbed his M1911 while they slept, and went to a summer party that he knew the three would be at. Crashing the party, Jared shot the three, dead. Jared was arrested 30 minutes later, and put up no resistance. He pled guilty, and was sent to the Maryland penitentiary to live out a life-sentence, no bail.

Life in the penitentiary was actually very comforting. Sure, no video games or junk food, but you don't have to work for a meal, and the library was always open. Designated prisoner #1834, Jared was assigned to a cell with CJ Thompson, imprisoned for child pornography possession and distribution, 10 years. CJ quickly grew to be Jared's first friend, and the two confided in each other their motives and secrets. Near the end of his stay in the prison, Jared was actually wondering if he was in love with CJ, but this was most likely him mixing up platonic and romantic love. The two were practically inseparable and the other prisoners were actually surprisingly nice to a convicted murderer. Two years into his imprisonment, Jared confided something in CJ that he had never told anyone before.

"I'm just tired. I-I know I'm young, a-and not supposed to be. B-but I'm tired of people, of life. I-I have had a better time in prison than anywhere else in my life... And that just makes me feel l-like my life was a waste. It gets harder and h-harder for me to sleep every night. I can't get the thought that things could have been so much different out of my head... I just don't know what to do."

"Listen, man, life is the biggest struggle out there... We do so much, but in the end, we don't manage to do anything right... But you can't let the What-if's, should-have's, and if-only's hold you down. We're here now, and that was because we were the ones who made the decisions that put us here. I made a lot of mistakes in my life, and I don't got a lot to show for it. You were a doctor at 21! But I don't have a single regret. When I get out of here, I'll live enough for the both of us, man."

Jared fell asleep to CJ's words, letting unconsciousness take over his mind. The next time he woke up, he was gasping for air.

Jared had no clue where he was. He was blindfolded at all times, and either kept in a sensory deprivation chamber, or occasionally allowed to remove his blindfold in a white, featureless room. Not a single person talked to him the entire time, and he was moved around via doping his food with sleeping pills. Jared spent a majority of his time in the chamber, and he was unable to tell the difference in time. Sometimes he experienced hours as if they were seconds, and other times the minutes crawled by so slowly they felt like years. Every now and then (Hourly), the water in the chamber rose to the point where there was no air left, and Jared was forced to hold his breath for minutes on end until the water returned to normal. When Jared felt like he couldn't handle it anymore, he decided to try and choke himself in the white room, using his blindfold. To his surprise, no one attempted to stop him. Halfway through the attempt on his life, however, he looked down to see he was entirely see-through. Surprised at his new capabilities, he tested his newfound power for several minutes, until realizing no drugged food had come through the door slot in a suspiciously long amount of time (Or at least, long to him since his perception of time was screwed over).

(When the RP starts, Jared will discover the door is open, and will make a break for it, meeting up with the other characters).

Ability: Befitting of a man who seeks to disappear, Jared possesses the power of Invisibility. When he is unobserved, Jared is able to turn invisible, and is undetectable by any sense except touch and smell (and taste, but that's kinda irrelevant when you can still touch him). This invisibility extends to electronics, and recording devices cannot pick him up while his power is activated. Thermal detection also does not work, as his power masks his body heat to appear to have the same thermal activity as the surrounding air. Additionally, his power covers anything he is wearing (like clothes) and holding (Must be able to carry in both hands comfortably). His silence also applies to these items.

However, the invisibility can only remain active as long as he holds his breath (Slightly longer than 2 minutes). If Jared starts to struggle for air (about the 1 minute, 45 second mark), he remains invisible, but people are now able to hear him. The scientists working on him unlocked this power through a combination of water boarding, isolation, and sensory deprivation. While he is unsure of the exact reasoning behind it, Jared believes that the scientists were attempting to replicate his power for militaristic purposes. Either way, the torture pushed him to his limit, but years of bullying has pushed him there more times than he could count, so he's not as mentally scarred from the torture as some of the other prisoners.

His power works through a combination of thermal stealth, light-warping, and lowering sound-wave frequencies to the point where they are undetectable.

Strengths: Considering academia was one of the few areas Jared excelled in, he is highly intelligent. Like, IQ of 150 intelligent. Jared is well-versed in most subjects, but excels the most in Biology and Chemistry. Jared is unsettlingly good at handling traumatic situations, and can remain calm under high-pressure scenarios. Jared has an INCREDIBLY large knowledge of weapons, and can handle most forms of firearms with ease. He is adept at the use of knives, but is most proficient with pistols. If his bullies knew about his collection back home, let's just say that the teasing would have stopped much sooner.

Skills: At a young age, Jared had dreamed of being a secret agent, and instead of playing with other kids, he pretended to sneak through forests to assassinate a high-profile target. He has retained this stealth that he had inadvertently trained by avoiding bullies, and even without his power, he can blend into crowds easily. As stated above, Jared has an amazing proficiency with fire arms, and has trained slightly in the use of knives. His father really should not have brought extra stock home... It is unlikely Jared will use these skills on actual people unless in self-defense. Finally, Jared had been cooking for his parents when they come home from a long day of work for years. As such, he is a very proficient chef, and can make something out of nearly any combination of ingredients.

Weaknesses: Not having any friends has left Jared with little in the social department (When he was 7, he went an entire year without speaking a single word, and no one noticed). This social deprivation has also left him highly trusting and naive towards anyone who shows him the slightest bit of affection. Years of physical and emotional abuse has left him with incredibly low self-esteem and a hard time communicating. When met with failure, Jared will belittle and insult himself, resulting in even poorer seal-esteem and making everyone around him feel awkward. This also could take up precious time in a situation where rushing is imperative to success.

Standing at 5’1”, Penelope is admittedly not a very tall girl; a situation that makes it very difficult for her to be spotted in a large crowd; a double-edged sword. She wears thick-rimmed glasses to correct her eyesight. In terms of attire and dress, she admittedly doesn’t think about it very distinctly. Her hair is often worn loosely with a few brush strokes and her clothing choice isn’t really fashionable – a slightly oversized hoodie is fine for her. This bookish and seemingly apathetic manner has certainly played a part in her local social life.

Penelope’s childhood and life experiences is pretty insignificant by all measures and at fifteen years old the only noteworthy thing that has happened in her life was a pretty run-of-the-mill divorce that preceded her mother’s untimely death to cancer a month before she started high school. But her mother’s death didn’t cause her to be a recluse or disinterested in making friends. In fact, she was of the bookish and shy variety long before her parent’s divorce five years ago. When Penelope was kidnapped, she was on her way home from the library in an innocuous afternoon. Safe to say, Penelope wasn’t very good at running from her captors; even in a neighborhood she was completely familiar with.

As a captive, Penelope tried to keep her emotions under check and keep her eyes open for any clues and information to help her get away from the painful experiments brought on upon her. Prior to the manifestation of her gene ability she figured that focusing on her memory would be the only way she could survive before things got worse.

The tampering of Penelope’s genetics has led to the development of psychometry, a powerful ability in its own right that both Penelope and the scientists that forced it upon her have yet to fully understand. In its earliest and most basic state, it serves as an extension of her photographic memory to the point that she obtains inklings and sometimes outright memories pertaining to the object she is interacting with. How far this can develop remains to be seen, but the scientist assigned to her development believes it has a great amount of potential in recollecting information and perhaps fundamentally (and permanently) learning and experiencing things in an instant.

This is me just creating a character and realizing that psychometry fits them best in the character development process. Extensive (aka high tier abilities) powers such as psychometric telepathy, tactile telepathy, and talent replication would be things that would be need to be discussed if it’s necessary for the story to develop those powers. Despite her current situation, Penelope is still a rather mundane high school student and as such she doesn’t really have much for knowledge, ability, and experience. In fact, outside of her peculiar mind her attributes are fairly average across the board – she has a good metabolism, she has decent stamina, she can keep up with gym exercises to a bare minimum, and has poor eyesight without corrected eyewear. What she has beyond that isn’t much; and given her niche knowledges about pop culture and art all she seems to have in worthwhile skills is fluency in three languages (english, french, and latin), musical talents, observational skills, and a photographic memory. Essentially, if you need to remember what color someone’s shoe was from four hours ago or how to tune an instrument, Penelope is your girl. If it’s anything else she might not be that useful to you.

Penelope can be considered an outcast in her high school, lacking any fundamental amount of friends and following her mother’s death in a collision has withdrawn any interest to. With this in mind, she isn’t completely lacking in socialization due to her involvement with internet communities and discussion groups, though she has no distinct relationships with individuals in said groups outside of being known as a member of the community.

Appearance:
Alan looks pretty standard from the nose up. An uncombed mop of sandy blonde hair and soft baby blue eyes. Below the nose is where things start to get weird.

As one of the more... severe mutations VTK Industries has experimented with, Alan has some... unique body features. While he does have a full head of teeth that appear to have exactly the kind of oral hygiene you would expect to find in an incredibly illegal genetic testing facility, most people are distracted by the two large ant-like mandibles protruding from the sides of his mouth, stretching out in front of his face.

Moving down from the mandibles, Alan's body is skinny, a sign of not being fed enough, and remarkably bony. The other important thing to night is the extra pair of arms he has, protruding out under his fourth pair of ribs. These arms are identical to his normal pair, and he has just as much control over them as the rest of his body. There's nothing unusual about the rest of Alan's body, except for his complete rejection of any sort of shoes or socks. Overall, he comes out to 5'9" and 220 pounds, a surprising weight for such seemingly malnourished person. This weight is caused by the barely noticeable exoskeleton that encompasses almost his entire body.

Personality:
When comfortable, Alan is compassionate, cheery, and a little bit goofy. Unfortunately, he's basically never comfortable. Most of his true personality has been overpowered by years of abuse and torture.
The end result is a broken man who is distrustful, constantly paranoid, and scared of just about anything larger than a mouse.

The most severe effect of Alan's abuse, however, are his feelings complete and utter distrust and repulsion towards women. He can barely stand to be in the same room as one. If a female touched him, he'd probably have an emotional breakdown of terror. On the other end, his reactions are similar to how most people react to his appearance.

Biographical Information:
Alan doesn't remember anything from before Facility #39 anymore, he's pretty sure they used some sort of drug to make him forget. He knows he arrived there when he was only 12 years old. Alan was scared, taken from wherever it was he lived, and he only found comfort when a slender woman took him by his hand and smiled at him. Her name was Dr. Scheidegger, and she seemed nice enough. Her voice was warm and welcoming, like the mother Alan had never known. Alan wiped away his tears as she handed him a cookie, and asked him if he was scared of insects. He told her that he never was, he used to play with the cockroaches in his room. That was when the sedative from the cookie took affect.

That night, and many nights throughout the next 5 years, Alan would find out that Dr. Scheidegger wasn't a nice woman at all. She was what the other test subjects called either a "sadist" or "evil bitch". The mutations and experimentation she put Alan though were superfluously excruciating, involving more pain and deep cuts than was required for his mutations. The worst part of it all was how the entire time, Dr. Scheidegger would talk to him in the same warm maternal voice she used when he first was brought in. Like she was mocking him. His nightmares were haunted by that same damn voice.

Facility #39 no longer exists. It burned down in some sort of "accident" where Alan was the only survivor. They found him shivering in the ashes of the lab, tears streaming down his face. All security footage had been lost. VTK Industries had had no idea of the sadistic experimentation of Dr. Scheidegger, and they were appalled when they discovered her research notes. They transferred him to Facility #41, planning to continue the testing of his abilities without the sadistic experimentation. Only Alan knows the exact cause of the "accident". Only he remembers the riot held by the prisoners after a successful escape from their cells. Only he remembers tying the bitch down, dousing her in the most flammable chemicals they could find. And only he remembers thinking it smelled like some sort of gas right before they lit her up.

At Facility #41, Alan is mostly held in his own prison cell away from the rest of the facility, for fear that he might scare the other subjects.

Ability:
Homo Entoid - Alan's mutation, as a product of Facility #39, is more severe than others. Through a combination of genetic manipulation and surgeries, he is a freakish combination of insect and man. This causes several significant changes to his physiology.

Mandibles: Alan's large mandibles are there in addition to his actual mouth. They are incredibly strong, able to bite down with more force than an alligator. In addition, special pheromone receptors and producers are inside of them, giving Alan and enhanced sense of smell as well as the ability to create insect pheromones. This allows him a form of control over insects, using his chemicals to tell them what to do.

Arms: Alan's mutations come with an extra pair of arms, situated right under his fourth set of ribs. He has full control of these arms, and is able to move them as nimbly as he is his regular pair. Also, both his hands and feet are covered in a large number of small bristles, allowing him to climb up most surfaces.

Exoskeleton: Almost all of Alan's body is covered in a barely noticeable exoskeleton. It surrounds his skin, fusing with it in some place, giving him a resilient suit of natural armor. It blocks the force of most physical blows, and the particularly thick parts are even capable of blocking bullets. The downside of the exoskeleton is it is very rigid, so it makes his movements look unnatural, like a robot.

Actual Strengths, Skills, Weaknesses:
+ Since he's been with VTK Industries so long, Alan has picked up a few of their protocols and secrets. He knows how to make living in a facility bearable.
+ Alan has very good instincts, and is able to think on his feet surprisingly fast.
- His distrustful nature makes teamwork very hard
- His lack of interaction along with his distrustful nature makes him generally unable to talk to other without being a bit awkward.

Redmond "Red" Walsh

Appearance: Red looks older than he is. He's got slight bags under his eyes and a general tired appearance. He almost always looks at the very least exhausted. He dresses very plain, and most of his wardrobe consists of white button-down shirts, a few ties, a wind breaker, sneakers, and a small assortment of jeans, dickeys, and slacks, which are all either tan or black, as well as his favorite article, a tan, detective-style trench coat with a multitude of pockets. He has olive skin and mostly black hair, save for the shock of auburn at the tips that slowly burns crimson at the very ends. His eyes are a very bright brown, with an almost gold tint. He very much so takes after his mother, Adriana Guyana, a beautiful Brazilian woman, in his skin tone, complexion, and eye color. However, his facial features, build and the defiant red hair are the spitting image of his father, John Walsh. He is fit, which comes from great genes and working physical jobs like roofing and warehouse.
Personality: Red truly is a pretty decent guy. He's friendly, approachable, and would honestly give the shirt off of his back to someone who really needed it. That said, he also has problems getting and staying motivated. He can be distant at times, and has the horrible habit of bottling his emotions. That combined with an extremely long fuse, a common trait shared by many older brothers, makes it hard to get around the mask of aloofness he puts on to keep what he's feeling hidden. Growing up he was always a bit precocious, and even as an adult he has a perspective that seems beyond his years. In most of his groups of friends he ends up in the "nurturer" role. He's the designated driver, he'll make sure you aren't too blasted, or wishing for death in the morning, and he's provided a shoulder to cry on more times than he can count.
Biographical Information: Redmond is kind of the black sheep. He is the oldest of four and has accomplished the least. His siblings have either already started their careers or are currently on the fast track to success. Meanwhile he had average grades in high school, dropped out of college, and now makes ends meet by working random odd jobs, from tech support to dog walking and babysitting. He lives in a one-bedroom apartment and all three of his girlfriends all left him when they realized he simply had no potential. All he has was a sponge brain, and was good at committing new details to memory. He's the kind of guy that everyone gives up on, because he gives up on himself. The only one to ever maintain the belief that one day he would amount to more than anyone would credit him for is his father, John. His father is the kind of man that spent his youth making a living at the cost of his body, and is now a fit old man with achy joints and a warm smile. He is the reason Red even goes outside at this point, much preferring to stay in and watch tutorials on YouTube for stuff he couldn't already do.

Honestly, he'd pretty much just given up and accepted his own mediocrity. He was fine with his life. That was when it happened.

He couldn't tell you why or how, barely remembers the day, but suddenly he was unconscious and when he came to, he was in a cell.

Ability: Conjuration.

Red can summon items by changing their location in space time. To do this, he first must know where the item is. He then has to imagine the item in its location, the clearer the image the better. Then he merely changes the location of the item to the palm of his hand or his pocket, and it appears there. It appears to only work with inanimate objects, and while he hasn't tested the size or weight limit thoroughly, smaller objects are much, much easier on him.

+ Red has a photographic memory.
+ He's fairly athletic.
+ He's worked a wide array of jobs, and as such has a wide array of situationally applicable skills, such as roofing, knot tying, and whittling.
+ He's level headed. He's not going to become demoralized and give up easily.
+ Red loves the heat, and has a strange almost immunity to it. He wears his coat in 90 degree weather without complaint.
- Red is a smoker. Not only does his addiction cause changes in his mood and temperament, the damage to his lungs from the years causes him to become short of breath more quickly.
- He's kinda lazy. He's got a good sense of fight or flight, but struggles to find motivation in most things.
- He tends to look too deeply into things, as opposed to seeing the big picture. This can distract him from accomplishing goals.
- He is highly susceptible to headaches and migraines. Using his power can make a pre-existing one worse.
- Red absolutely abhors the cold. He can barely function when it's below forty five degrees.
