Neato Lot's and lots of wars for the Horselords, and the Death of of Leathermane comes at a good time for my Chronicler to have become a proper senior Witch and see her dreams of revenge fulfilled...

Most interesting. I look forward to reading such.

I'd almost be ready to write a bio for my fav chronicler, if only he didn't become Governer of Paledune.

You can still write a bio for him, regardless of his current status. But, y'know, you need to post...

It's always been here lol.

Mayhaps not the most accurate placement but it fits the scale.

Credit to @Bluetommy for finding a birth/death year mistake in House Haedulus. It's been fixed.

@Bluetommy just wrote the biography of Lord Governor Darius Brighteye Sunwalker of Paledune. Gripping read, highly recommended. All biographies are in the first post of the IC section.

I personally think customary units will give the pieces a stronger historical feel. Inches derive from the length of a certain king's thumb, from the tip to the first knuckle; a foot is, well, the length of one of his feet. A lot of them have "rule-of-thumb" origins like that, whereas metric is more modern.

Still drowning in coursework and character sheets btw. I haven't forgotten this, although by the time I start writing you might already have introduced Gen III.

Well, again, translated document. I didn't feel like making equivalency tables for thousands of totally new made-up languages, so I decided to standardize and save all the hassle. I get how it feels, but more than how it feels we're trying to maintain plausibility.

Congratulations to @BingTheWing on Elder status! You're welcome to submit a historian biography at your leisure.

Quick fix though, please change the 'Tis folly' to 'It is folly' due to the contractions thing.

If anybody has new feature ideas or things they want to see/not see in the simulation, now's the time for feedback. I'm current doing some redesign on the generation so if you have changes you'd like to suggest the system is ripe for progression. I likely won't change the fundamentals of this system (for example, the six period blocks) but things like event types (I recently added Diplomacy (Pilgrimage) for example) or maybe something akin to domain levels for policies (I already ventured into this slightly with authoritarianism in Republics) would be welcome. As a rule of thumb, any new mechanic will be retroactively added to all the other generations (unless it's an event type in which case I'll just start using it), so use that as the bar for feasibility.

@Hygswitch

Sorry it took so long to get this up; your post is great but you used British 'metres' instead of 'meters' at one point and I believe you had an open parentheses without a space(like this). Thanks for the contribution!

Honestly, it looks quite good. We all look back and cringe from time to time, but it absolutely meets the standards of the thread (which is advanced I may remind you). Also, no problem on the spelling difference :-) Trips me up with some European GMs in the past as well.

Always nice to read that, especially as a non native speaker/writer.

Much nicer to say it when it's true :-)
