Appearance: Unlike most undead, Fyrshylryn's grey skin has a somewhat peachy tone and shows no signs of decay. He has the appearance of a 16 year old, and stands at about 5'5". He has an iconic brown leather hat.
Faction: Arcane Bastion
Personality: Although not particularly friendly, Fyrshylryn gets along fairly well with others. Quick to action and quick to lose interest, he's fairly volatile at times. He's incredibly unworldly, both in his ideals and desires, but faces his idealism with surprising maturity. Fyrshylryn's words have a thick accent that becomes almost incomprehensible when he's excited.
Skills: Archery - 1 Blood Magic - 2
Lv. 1 Blood Magic - Blood Arrow: Fires a fast-moving arrow of blood.
Lv. 1 Blood Magic - Siphon: Draws in nearby spilt blood to restore the caster's own blood.
Equipment: Light armor
Backstory: Originally a hunter in his small, remote village, Fyrshylryn was attacked by a bear and received grave injuries. Collapsed and lying in a pool of blood, a slime approached his body and slipped into the wounds, absorbing his blood. Having taken on the properties of the substance, the slime's movement through his veins actually resuscitated him, though his heart was no longer beating. The slime stayed in his body, feeding off of the fresh blood his body produced in exchange for keeping him "alive". As time went on, Fyrshylryn realized that he was no longer aging. He became far more appreciative of the idea of co-existence; it was far better for things to live together than for only one to remain.
@Rice Porridge Hmmmmm what exactly does this race entail in the ways of what happens if someone cuts off your arm? or how would the slime feel if you cut yourself for blood? Btw love the creativity I just don't want to open the floodgates to an op race.
I certainly have an interest, but it's suuuuper late. I'll make a point to look over this in the morning. Maybe try to make either a rogue or mage depending on what we need...and if there's still room.

(Dont forget to make ya spells)
His body is as fragile as a normal human being's, and it would take the same amount of time for him to heal from injuries. However, given that time, he can survive and heal from things that would normally kill. Let's say his arm was cut off:
He wouldn't "bleed", since the slime holds its own shape. Without blood to create scabbing, the slime instead covers the wound, continuing circulation and preventing infection.
The arm would be much easier to reattach since the slime would reconnect the proper veins and resume blood flow, though it would take time for proper function to return. ----- Answering your other question...
The slime doesn't mind; he actually has to bleed himself occasionally since the slime's growth creates a lot of pressure, which, while nonlethal, can be extremely uncomfortable.
The Bastion isn't necessarily renegade mages as they are a group of mages trying to end their oppression. Fion's Light wishes to remove magic from mages and free them from their "corruption". They are fully accepting of divine spellcasters and sometimes even arcane spellcasters. As long as they accept that The Order will remove their magic as soon as they are able to.
We don't really want to limit the players on a roleplaying scale since this is not a Tabletop game. The skills are only those that would be useful in combat and we want to make sure that battling remains fair. All other skills are really roleplay based, so no limiters other than what would make sense to your character. I will admit that we didn't factor in dodging but we wanted to keep physical and magical skills balanced so there are 12 of each. I'll see if we can change one of the physical skills to a term that will include dodging and what it previously stood for. As for magic, all of the magics can carry a multitude of effects based off what you do with your spells. They will just have an elemental tie to them. So if you want to make an illusion made of air that looks like a ghost, go for it, or a spectacle of fire that enchants your enemies, sure, or perhaps using earth to conjure an earth elemental. (Animal magic can create swarms) Additionallly, all of the elements can come from a divine influence instead of arcane and would be represented by your spells and spells that would specifically harm undead would most likely fall under light magic. If you want to negate another mage's magic, you would have to use a spell that is their spell's elemental counter. The magic skills are listed in pairs of counters, light and dark counter each other, fire and water, lightning and nature, etc.
@Rice Porridge While I don't mind that the slime makes healing a little easier for you, I would like to point out that blood magic can't control blood inside the bodies of others (To avoid OP mages controlling everyone) so you would have to either spill your own blood or spill another's and since you can't bleed it would make it a lot less often that you could actually use your powers.
For the purposes of magic though, slime can't substitute blood. So I'm guessing the slime doesn't choose to block a minor cut that would cause it to lose some food, and it doesn't mind you wasting it's food source?
@Arithmatus Actually, we're trying to keep it off fighting for the most part which is why we're allowing most things in terms of story, race, etc. but if a fight does break out, we want it to be fair between characters.
It's really a mixture of the two in terms of plot, the individuals will decide how fast the plots move and how they move while the GM's will simply point in the direction of the current plot.
I believe we'll have a 2-paragraph post minimum but we're more focused on quality instead of quantity. As for two-player convos, you'll either have to be a good conversationalist and have detailed dialogue or focus more on the details around your character during the conversation.
It's fine that you're new to this, I don't mind the questions.
A construct of magic to bolster the structural integrity of porcelain, Ahnciel's anatomy is doll-like and surprisingly light for its durability. Due to the maintaining enchantment, damage to the material will eventually heal with chunks broken off from the core slowly dissipating into mundane sand while bits regrow. The process can be expedited by collecting and piecing the damage back together, though this is a tedious process that only Ahnci truly knows the solution to. Regardless, it makes the difference between regrowing an arm and fusing a crack. Due to the composition of Ahnci's frame, light piercing and mild slash attacks are negligible in threat, while heavy impact, especially blunt, can be devastating.
Typically, a golem follows orders to the will of the master who commands it. However, vague orders will often be met with improvisation based on previous commands. Such an order prior to the death of a master has been observed to cause a golem to tirelessly perform a task without end before defaulting to common constants. With the death of his master and a final order to 'avenge me', many would see Ahnciel's actions as sentience or at least free thought...though this is only where the trickery begins.
Gender: N/A (Male pronouns)
A doll standing at 5'6, flat-heeled knee-high boots bump this up to 5'8. Typically clad in his old servant's attire (at least in the start of the thread), under it he wears what would equate to a black leather form-fitting tanktop with flexible layered scales reinforcing the chest and abdomen. A pair of matching bracers fixed to arm guards are kept under the sleeves of their servant's attire, custom made and designed to inconspicuously protect without giving the impression of the apparently meek servant actually being an armed guard. The trend continues with greaves and cuisses of the set lacking poleyn for flexibility, all belted to the legs over mid-thigh socks fixed with garters running up snug, fitted and broad-belted leather short-shorts. Great care to detail the doll's lithe design, resources must not have been an object in procuring and tailoring the quality material to protect the owner's investment, light of armor as it is.
Faction: Fion's Light
Personality: Ahnciel was built and trained to be polite and eloquent to the letter, though unwisely prompted to function on logic and read organics for cues. This has led to him being a bit poor at dealing with romantics, though patient with ranting outbursts that he'd bore witness to a fair share of. However, there is no telling how much he 'took to heart' in a number of instances over the years of serving the family when confronted about his machine-like nature. Because of the changing tastes of the Sinclair lineage, Ahnciel has grown proficient in feinting emotions, preferences and even dispositions for the sake of pretending to be more human. The recent decades have instilled an almost sultry string, learning to be subtly manipulative mostly in the way of discouraging radical action or even reasoning. Still, words alone do not slay trespassers, and only sentient souls feel remorse for their actions or hesitate on orders conflicting with common morals. At the very least, most would not do so with a hauntingly pleasant smile. Ahnciel is highly inexperienced with the outside world and how people work without direction.
Backstory: The duke lies dead, his wife and youngest son and heir to the bloodline having absconded to parts unknown after the anonymous threats against the man's life. Simply order to 'protect the family' would not do without knowledge of where the woman had taken the young master...and evidenced by the pool of blood, Ahnciel's abilities were wanting in that department. It seemed like it would be rude to begin cleaning the mess while the duke was actively making it, but the man thankfully had one final task. "Dear Ahnci...do right...pro..protect the family...a-and avenge...mmeee..." Simple enough: by silencing the ones who would threaten the family, the...nnnnoow, now dead master would be avenged and the bloodline preserved. This, of course, was anything but simple since the construct had never left the grounds for any reason other than to fetch groceries or attend balls with the duke and his lineage. Standing at the scene and frozen while watching blood seep into the carpeting, orders argued against themselves for a solid minute before Ahnci simply bowed and turned heel to leave and speaking, "Ouf course, sir" with dignified resolution behind the accent they were built with. Ahnciel had nowhere to begin, and simply wandering the streets at night was getting him nowhere. There were posters that claimed to represent an organization backed by peace and justice, mentioning by name the others who occasionally had posters hung over their own. While both contradicted each other, one spoke of a justice that Ahnciel reasoned to be a synonym of vengence, and therefore a place to start. The other spoke only of injustices done to them, and since Ahnci wasn't sure what a mage even was in the same context of his objectives, he pulled down one of the posters for Fion's Light and followed its directions.
