You do know must superhero RPGs are mostly about punching a few things.

Yes but I didn't sign up to make up all of Damocles's own adventures if so I'd gm my own roleplay. More over Damocles himself is more of a stealth oriented hero. He has combat skills but most of them are geared towards non meta opponents.

Technically anyone using Venom is not a meta. Just a drugged up shithead.

So you basically created a character you don't wanna use? Because under skills and equipment you've got listed...

Powers/Skills:

Master Hacker

Technology Expert

Mild Combat Training (guns, minor hand to hand, and basic first aid)

Equipment: (Standard) lightweight body armor, 2 M1911 pistols, Police Baton, KA-BAR Knife, Sawed off Shotgun, Smart Phone with built in hacking software capable of quickly hacking into nearby computer interfaces. (non-standard) flash bangs, and shock gloves (custom built gloves that send a taser like bolt of electricity into body via touch)

If you came into an RP with that sort of character and then DON'T wanna do the stuff you've got him down for, I don't know how I'm supposed to accommodate such a character. I also can't force interactions between players, that's something you'll have to get going on your own. If Batwoman just jacked a car and another teammate is too loud you should still have two partners on your team to interact with. If Batman's paying you $$$ to do something... I would imagine the character is in it for very different reasons than a lot of us. Get inside his head. Give us a little more of his backstory in a flashback. Or find one of the other people on your team. There's a lot of stuff you could be writing about.

IDK knock down a tree or lamp post in the park, make a junkie or two piss their pants, etc. Just come down and help Jack bust some heads so we can pick one or two to interrogate. Lives are on the line here!

Alright I believe I should make myself more clear. What I meant was I was coming into this rp with the expectation that you as GM @The Kid Lantern were going to give characters an objective to do and not leave it to the players. I'm fine with him going to hack a computer...but what does he find? I can't exactly pull any relevant plot related info out because I, as a player, don't know anything Bane has going on. Damocles could go find the nearest cell phone that's somehow still intact and try to trace calls, or something as well but once more I don't have anything to go off of. When I'm a gm I have players go to point A, or chose a location then give them something to do so they don't have to make up their own stuff. I guess I'll go have him interrogate one of the goons then.

@Unknown100 PM'ed me and asked about getting some info out of somebody and I mentioned what could be used [the reveal Rose Wilson was the 3rd hostage]. You could've done the same thing LOL. I just don't like revealing too much of the story in the OOC because then everybody just quits reading the IC. Just shoot me a PM and we can figure out a hack to move one of the teams forward.

If anyone would like I could introduce an enemy who also needs dealt with on the side if any of you want a piece of different action. Dunno who it will be... you might run into a Venom-jacked Mad Hatter or Harley Quinn...

I mean as a slightly out of shape guy ATM, I'd be intimidated but not scared. An old friend used to date a female bodybuilder and she was a beast... I only dared arm wrestled with her one time. When she found out I wrestled in school she thought I'd get down and let her throw me like a ragdoll I was all "nope... quit looking at me like I'm a set of free weights!"

Maybe your character could use technology to mask up the factory incidence as something else than the work of Batman and co. Then we know Bane wouldn't take his frustration out on Batgirl. Doing stuff like that would really make a hacker valuable to the team.
I for one really like your character, and like to see someone fight Bane with something else than physical combat.

@Unknown100He just blew up the conductor so the whole of the area is without power at the moment. The most he could do is plant evidence of gun fire at this point. Maybe take some of the venom.
