Not to overstep the OP's thread but to answer @jynmi88

Well itll still be pirates and while the overall goal is still going to be to find grand line. There is a caveat that the captain is looking to build a fairly small army to kill someone who is powerful and topple their reign of power. The captain will be someone who is already attached to a piece of fortune and is already well versed in the world, and that he is using both to make his revenge plan happen. This doesnt mean that there will be a lot of killing and character death, or that itll be dark but compared to the manga where seemingly no one dies and there's a distincy white vs black morality i wanted this story to be the opposite in that aspect. Also i wanted them to be pirates who actually did piracy things such as steal and look for treasure.

One of the recurring elements i wanted was that everyone is in one way or the other was a noble/royalty/titled in some way. They dont have to be actual nobles but they are people who before deciding to join this crew was a person of relative high status, had some level of infamy, or had a nickname/lifestyle relating to being a part of a kingdom/royalty of some sort.

The other recurring theme was the idea of piracy as a job/salvation, and finding your dream. Instead of people searching of already establisjsd dreams these people before they joined the crew would be lost/aimless and were living their day to day lives which is a reason they joined the crew because they wanted to leave their "dreamless" lives and are looking to find adventures/are looking for themselves.

I also wanted these characters to be able to explore the notion that maybe being a porate is just a job for them or a way to leave their previous life. Initially, maybe, they are just there as a crew member because they need to go somewhere/are looking to make money or just want to be a pirate and that their ties to the crew are to fulfill a certain purpose and not just because of camaraderie.

A big reason why i wanted it this way was because i wanted the characters to grow with each other as the story goes along and change the way they interact with each other instead of somehow being automatically beibg friends who would die for each other moments after they meet. I wanted them to significally grow as fighters much like how nami and ussopp became better and better fighters. I was hoping that while they were able to defend themselves at the start they get acccess to weapons, skills, and devil fruits that allowed them to be stronger. Naturally i wanted there to be romance and family drama, id like to see characters that were romantically or had familial ties while being in the crew. In line with this id like to have a fairly wide range of age range in that there's a mix of teens, young adults, adults, and youthful and fun loving adults.

Speaking of devil fruits im setting a pretty big limit in that i want predominantly canon or already established devil druits, canon amd nan-canon allowed, so long as it has appeared in the source material. The only exception to this would be if the explanation and detail of the new devil fruit is quite high, not OP, and application and usage of power is creative.

I wanted a pretty big cast too. In the manga where ypu have less than 10 characters i wanted to possible double that number without losing the individual charisma and their strenght as individual combatants. Im hoping to have people do two characters as well to make sure that it's a pretty big cast especially if we end up only having a small group players.

Also it wont be first come first serve and i will be making notes regarding people's CS

I would be totally interested in that. Have had a character I've mesmerized wanting to use that would fit perfectly.

Since there's interest i may end up making it i should et yall know that itll be in high casual or low advanced just by virtue id want this to be done by a small group who can play at at least two characters, with their own character arc outside of the islands arc, the current saga, and the overall plot that will happen.

I've been interested in a One Piece rp for awhile but I could never find anything truly interesting. This seems fairly open and interesting, so if you're still accepting people I'd like to play.
