Am I supposed to post next?
<Snipped quote by Letter Bee>
Upon the sword being touched, the Light it gives off begins to glow even brighter. As it radiates these pure rays, Taka finally wakes from his slumber, his hand instinctively stretching upward as if he were calling upon his Keyblade. The katana vanishes from Homura's hands, re-materializing in Taka's hand. The blade releases a powerful aura, traveling down his arm, printing white flame designs upon his sleeves and coattails. Once this is done, his blade disappears, now replaced by a sunset red Wayfinder. Despite what has been restored to him, he still refuses to remove his hood. "Well then...it seems I've been asleep for quite some time! Would one of you kindly fill me on what has been going on?" He inquires, sounding like a completely different person. His happy-go-lucky demeanor had been resurrected, very few traces of Nobody personality remained, for the exorcism had helped the wielder reclaim not only his memories, but more importantly, his heart. This young man had been rescued from the cold embrace of Darkness.
@Letter Bee My character's still trying to find the group.
@Letter Bee Well, congratulations. In one fell swoop you completely invalidated my post AND made the situation even more confusing than it already was. I was trying to simplify matters by having the siege be the canonical invasion with Heartless spicing it up, but I guess an utterly chaotic fight between two armies that came out of bumfuck nowhere works too. Thanks.
@Letter Bee Then the invasion is happening a year early. Not that hard to comprehend. You said yourself these aren't supposed to be the canon worlds, but counterfactual histories that just so happen to resemble those stories. If it means less confusion and a tidier timeline of events, then I'm sure some creative liberties wouldn't be the end of the world. Besides, do you really i would have portrayed Psycho-freakin-Mantis (a man who, in Metal Gear canon was a literal serial killer) as a sympathetic anti hero if I wasn't using your guideline to how these worlds work?
